Mykonos Waves Beach House & Suites

Beautiful rooms, clean and excellent location. Friendly for kids w a pool and toys + walking distance from many places in Ornos. Room had a small kitchen to cook too. Dimitra who welcomed us during the whole stay is v nice!

Breakfast a little on the smaller side for €15 pp - but included if you book directly w the property.

Our time at mykonos waves was fantastic. From the moment we arrived both george and dimitra made us feel very welcome. George was so friendly picked us up from our ferry and drove us back chatting all the time about the area and we used his complimentory service each day to town and back. Dimitra was so lovely and upgraded our room on arrival to a house at the top with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen living area and two huge balcony one of which has beanbag loungers. The view was gorgeous across the sea. Clean towels and maid servcie every day with toiletries, robes and slippers. Kitchen had everything you needed. The pool was lovely and relaxing and always sunbeds or beanbag loungers. If you wanted to use the beach across they had bed to take across and parasols. Only a stones throw across the road from the beach and 10 minute walk to ornos beach which was lined with lovely places to eat. We used the sister hotels pool once which was absolutely beautiful views across the bay! George dropped us here also each night and then a short few minute walk down into the centre. We used buses to come back which ran into the early hours very easy to use and every 30 minutes. Overall couldnt gave asked for anything more. Thank you so much and our friends are also looking to book now next summer. X

When we booked the booking was for a one bedroom place with a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We were first place in one small room with a bed and a sofa bed side by side, when we asked to be placed in the room we actually booked, they moved use to a room with a curtain between the bed and the sofa bed, it wasn’t a separate room at all. So be aware of that if you book for a family.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was wonderful — spacious, cozy and beautifully designed, with charming bathrooms. The breakfast basket delivered to your door at the time you choose is such a convenient idea, although there are also great bakeries within walking distance. The transportation system works really well, and the staff are fantastic — everything is very well explained, so the lack of a 24-hour reception is not an issue at all. We also loved being able to access our favorite streaming services directly on the TV. A fantastic experience overall!

The only downsides were that we initially thought the beach directly in front of the hotel would be suitable for swimming, but it is mainly used for water sports, with strong winds and waves for kitesurfing. The closest beach for swimming is about a 10-minute walk away, although it is absolutely beautiful and very pleasant. We also experienced a few small late-night gatherings from other guests with externals. It might be helpful to reinforce the rule that outside guests are not allowed, especially during quiet hours.

The staff were wonderful from George who picked us up at airport, to Dimitra at reception, to the cleaning staff. Hotel is small, quaint and impeccably clean. Quiet and peaceful but only a few mins walk to Ornos Beach.

False advertising for selected room. Important to know that this is a very windy side of Mykonos so if you prefer to stay in an area that isn’t so windy then I’d suggest another location.

The entire staff, especially George snd Anastasia, was welcoming and extremely helpful with everything! The location was perfect - walking to ornos beach, kamari beach was a little further but a nice walk, and kite beach in front of the hotel wad a beautiful view from our suite and perfect for a quick dip while we also enjoyed the wonderful pool. We had the oceanfront 3 bedroom suite which was VERY clean and comfortable! The very large terrace was a perfect spot to enjoy the delicious basket of breakfast delivered to our room every morning m, with warm fresh bread and croissants, eggs, yogurt, fresh juice etc! The cleaning service with fresh towels and toiletries everyday was nice too. And the complimentary shuttle to town and airport was great too! I would definitely stay here again. it exceeded our expectations!

This really is the most beautiful property, within a stones throw of the sea. The beach house and apartments were clean and well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Perfect location, seconds away from the beach, and only a few minutes walk away from Ornos bars, beach and restaurants. The staff were amazing and were always on hand to accommodate our daily requests for transport and restaurant recommendations! I can’t recommend Mykonos Waves enough. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed at this gorgeous hotel at the very beginning of the season in Mykonos. In fact, we had been upgraded as its sister hotel we were originally booked into was still closed for maintenance, so we got to this hotel by accident - and we were so lucky! Absolutely everyone in the staff was so so nice and going out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Nothing was a problem, everything we asked for was promptly sorted out with a smile, and we felt like royalty. We were also allowed the late check out which was a massive logistical help on our travel day. The restaurant was also very good and the gym / wellness / pool area was a total godsend. Of course, watching the sunsets from there and our sea view room was beautiful and we still miss it. Thank you everyone, what a treat. We’ll be back!

Excellent place to stay for a few days or even weeks. Very relaxing and the host Filippa was amazing and could not do enough for us. George use to drive us into Mykonos Old Town every night which was so great of him. Has truly relaxing holiday.

Just got back from an incredible stay at Mykonos Waves Beach Hotel & Suites with my friends, and honestly, I’m already missing it. Fillippa and her whole crew made us feel so welcome—it was like crashing at a good friend’s place, not just a hotel. We booked a three-bedroom suite with a hot tub, and the place was spotless and super roomy. There were always sunbeds available, too, which was a nice bonus. Getting around was a breeze. The bus stop is just a short two-minute walk away, and tickets are only €2 each way. The hotel even arranged a complimentary ride into town for us, thanks to the ever-cheerful George. Ornos beach is about a ten-minute stroll, lined with great restaurants. If you’re a foodie—or just get hungry at odd hours—there are two 24-hour bakeries nearby that won’t break the bank, plus even more places to eat and a bar, all within a five-minute walk. Mykonos town itself is just a quick five-minute drive, packed with bars and restaurants. Our top pick? D’Angelo, which Fillippa suggested (she has great taste). We did take a boat trip, but here’s a tip: listen to Fillippa. We ignored her advice and went to the Northside, which turned out to be crazy windy. The South would’ve been much better! If you want a place that feels like home on Mykonos, I can’t recommend Mykonos Waves enough.

This was a lovely property. We were here just two nights, but had a lovely comfortable, relaxing stay. The hotel offered complimentary transport to and from the airport and took us into the livelier area of Mykonos in the evening. It’s not too far from Little Venice etc and we caught the bus back for just €2. The hotel itself was lovely & quite quiet. The loungers and infinity pool overlooked the beach opposite. The staff here were wonderful! We were met by Fillipa who was so genuinely friendly & helpful-nothing was too much bother. Thank you Fillipa for such a warm welcome to Greece!

Extremely warm welcome by Filippa and Geoges. Awesome view on the Korfos bay. The hotel offer convenient transfer to airport, port and Mykonos town. Overall great experience.

These are all minor points, however worth mentioning. The pool is actually tiny, only can be used for Instagram pictures since the view is stunning. Regarding location, unless you are doing kite / wind surfing, you have to walk nearby Ornos beach 10-15 minutes. No breakfast included, however you can order a breakfast basket or just go to a bakery nearby.

Very helpful staff, Filippa is a gem.Walking distance to Bakery (open 24hrs ) for breakie/lunch.Short walk to upmarket Ornos beach with day beds. Filippa can organize day trips/car pick ups to beaches/clubs , great local knowledge.

The incredibly smart and helpful manager made this an incredible experience. The driver was great as well. The property was immaculate. We have travelled a lot and we would say this was the best service ever.

Beautifully decorated and located small boutique hotel just a few minutes from Mykonos town. All the facilities you might need are there, even an infinity pool overlooking the Bay Area. Filippa and George are amazing hosts who make your stay memorable. Even our three year old was warmly welcomed and looked after during our stay.

The design of the apartment and all the hotel was exquisite, the cleaning and staff was everyday exceptional, the host Filippa was so helpful, kind and take really good care of every requests. The location is near in just 5 minute to fantastic bakery, super market, bus station, restaurants and also beach club and stylish bars and the hotel can organize transfer to Mykonos town that is just 5 minute away by car.

My family and I have just come back from staying at Mykonos Waves and it was amazing! Fillippa and her team are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, they are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed it the three bedroom house with a hot tub and it was lovely and big, airy and spotlessly clean. You can’t fault this place. Plenty of sunbeds at whatever time of the day. Bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and costs €2 each way or €2.50 fate midnight. George at the hotel will also take you to the town for free. Ornos beach is 10-15 minute walk away, it is a lovely beach. There are 2 bakeries within 2 minute walk, 1 is an artisan one & the other is traditional Greek one, both so reasonable. Restaurants are within 5 minute walking distance and a bar. However Ornos beach has more places to eat. Mykonos town is stunning and has plenty of eating places. Would definitely come back and stay at Mykonos Waves.

We had a three bedroom house with a hot tub. Only 10-15 minutes from airport. From start to finish Philippa was very welcoming and knowledgeable. All the staff were friendly and happy in their work. The pool and surrounds were never busy you can always get a sunbed. There are two bakers and a supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Lovely restaurants. You can either walk into z Mykonos town which takes about 35 minutes or get the bus for 2 euros. You can also book George to take you into town who also is a member of staff who cleans the pool takes your cases etc. It was also spotlessly clean.

Filippa was the perfect t hostess. The free shuttle transfer is worth a weight! They pick you and drop from port/airport and take you to the sister hotel Absolute on the old town…definitely worth a visit. The hotel pool area is stunning and the whole property is impeccably clean x

From the moment we booked until our departure, the hospitality at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Filippa and the team made sure every detail was taken care of, creating a seamless experience that made us feel at home. The location was perfect—just a short walk to Ornos Beach but comfortably distanced from the crowds. The views from the hotel were stunning, and with such a relaxing pool area, we found little reason to leave. This property stands out as one of the few genuinely kid-friendly options in the area. Our child had a blast. A heartfelt thank you to Filippa for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! We stayed for 4 nights, and everything was amazing. The room and pool were beautifully designed, and since our room had direct access to the pool, it was so easy to relax and spend time there. The beach was just steps away from the hotel, so we enjoyed morning runs to the beach and returned for sunbathing. There’s a fantastic bakery nearby where we grabbed breakfast every morning. The hotel also arranged drop-offs to Mykonos Town, and we hopped in to the city bus to come back, making transportation super convenient. Filippa was an incredible host. She gave us great recommendations and organized all of our transportation. Since we were there for a friend’s bachelorette party, she even treated us to complimentary wine on our last night. Despite our constant questions and requests, she was always gracious and helpful. On our last day, she arranged for us to use the pool at their sister hotel, Absolute Mykonos, free of charge. Filippa truly made our trip even better!

The pull-out bed could have been more comfortable, but we were so tired that it didn’t really matter.

Filippa made the stay - she was lovely, helpful and went out of her way to make us feel really at home. Transport services were included and the location was epic.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and in a fantastic location overlooking the bay towards The old town, the manger Filippa is very welcoming, it was an ideal location for a short trip to Mykonos, they even offer a complimentary bus to the port and airport

we weren’t aware it was more like a large villa than a hotel. there was no bar or food - and whilst it was easy to order breakfast hampers and delivery it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. it was also awkward for the kids to have to walk through our room to get to the bathroom

We had a really great time at Mykonos Waves, Fillipa could not have been more thoughtful and welcoming, The hotel and villa were tastefully decorated and furnished and were spotlessly clean . We thought the location was great as it was only a short ride into the old town and a short walk to Ornos beach and a good selection of restaurants The hotel provided our transfer to the port and also to the old town for a night out. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return if we come back to Mykonos

Filippa made our stay extra special the experience starts with the pick up at the airport and drop off at the port. We had a suite room with two double beds great fresh breakfast made to order and generous outside space. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful layout and wonderfully peaceful

There is no onsite restaurant or bar however we enjoyed walking to the local bakery/supermarket and having our own champagne breakfast on our balcony. We knew this was the case in advance and it didn’t hinder our stay in any way!

Excellent location, right next to the beach and very close to the main town. Value for money place with a nice (albeit a bit small) swimming pool. The host Filippa was incredibly helful with tips and made sure we had everything for our breakfast in the room. Furthermroe she managed to get us a last min reservation with one of the best restaurants outside of the main town and additionally gave us parking space in the town in one of their sister hotels. Excellent stay overall and great hospitality . One to come back again when in Mykonos next

My experience at Mykonos Waves Beach House & Suites was a perfect 10/10. As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe, welcomed, and respected throughout my stay. Filippa was outstanding, assisting with everything from organizing transfers to securing restaurant reservations and much more. The hotel itself was very pleasant, quiet, and relaxing, with a serene atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The beach just across from the hotel and the pool area were both beautiful places to spend my days. My room was clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured in the photos. I will definitely be returning, and I want to extend a special thanks to Filippa and the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable!
