Hamid was so helpful and friendly. He helped us a lot. The property is nice and calm, a good experience for those who want to experience Riad, a moroccan home. Not for hotel lovers. Shopping and sight seeing is walkable distance.

You have to walk a bit, there is no road where taxi can go in.

Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueilli par le personnel,très souple, par exemple pour nous servir les repas,même tard. Généreux pour les renseignements divers liés aux visites. Merci pour l équipe , Hamid et l autre dame dont j ai oublié le prenom ainsi que la cuisinière et la dame qui s occupait du menage,sans oublier Amina pour les massages . A Traditional Riad in a perfect location, to access everything Marrakech has to offer, it’s like a home from home. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is very clean and has everything you need. The food was lovely, the rooms definitely give you a true Moroccan experience.

Me and my partner stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Room was clean & had everything we needed. Riad itself was very picturesque and clean. Location is great for central Marrakesh, within 5 minutes you’re heading into some of the busy market streets. Although, Riad itself is 2 minutes down an alleyway which would have been hard to find if Hamid who works at the hotel hadn’t met us there beforehand which was very kind of him. Sana & Hamid were both amazing, friendly faces to greet you at the door each time you arrived ‘home’. Hamid even took the time to draw us a map of recommended places to visit. No faults at all!

We had a nice stay at this riad in Marrakech. The location was convenient, just a couple of minutes from the main road, and everything was generally good. The breakfast was nice, with an omelette every day, different types of pancakes and a variety of fresh fruit. However, as we stayed for a week, the breakfast did start to feel a little repetitive. Overall, it’s a lovely riad and we enjoyed our stay, although staying for a full week can feel a little boring as there isn’t much variety.

The property was beautiful, clean and very peaceful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was great for exploring Marrakech. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the traditional Moroccan style of the property.

As with most Riads, the sound really travels because it is built round a small courtyard. It just means that you will wake when the first people get up and won't sleep until the last people go to bed. Not too much of an issue as most people keep similar hours.

Chiamarla Spa forse è un po’ esagerato. Hanno una piccolissima stanza per hammam dove il calore si disperde poiché nemmeno si può chiudere la porta. Ti fanno sedere su tappetini di plastica e non sul marmo e non c’è una bellissima atmosfera. Le ragazze che fanno i massaggi sono brave ma anche per questi non c’è uno spazio adibito ma lettini che vengono posizionati nel salottino/tv comune dove si sentono tutti i rumori.

Great facility and staff. The location was central to most of the tourist attractions. The highlight of our stay was the staff, Hamid. A very nice and friendly guy. He went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Gave us recommendations of places to visit, how to haggle with taxi drivers and even helped us haggle once. He was so polite as well. Would definitely recommend this riad a hundred times over. The rooms and washrooms were also very clean.

The accommodation was very nice and stylish. The rooms were clean and cozy, equipped with air conditioning. In the extreme heat, we cooled off in the pool in the atrium. The entrance to Riyadh felt very cozy, every evening candles were lit and they made us feel at home. We mostly got everywhere on foot, if we needed a taxi, 3 minutes from the hotel we always found one. Breakfast was always freshly prepared, very tasty with friendly service. The ordered dinner was excellent, I definitely recommend trying it. I really want to appreciate Hamid and express my thanks. He was always willing to advise and help and he certainly has a big part in the fact that we will definitely be happy to come back here.

Le petit-déjeuner est majestueux, il change tous les matins. La terrasse en haut du Riad est grande et très bien aménagé. Le premier soir nous avons pris le repas à l’hôtel et il était succulent . Le Riad est propre de fond en comble. Si vous hésitez, n’hésitez plus.

Nothing, everything was perfect

My sisters and I stayed here on our first trip to Morocco - we were amazed by the service and hospitality. Hamid in particular was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, organising for a tour guide to pick us up from the accommodation, he escorted us to our tour coach, even packed us breakfast to take with us! The riad itself is very pretty and tidy, the rooftop was great for relaxing and sunbathing and the pool was perfect for cooling off. Even though the rooms are fairly close together we had no issues with noise with other guests. Breakfast was delicious. Location is fab, walking distance to the markets, Jardin Majorelle, Madrasa Ben Youssef and Jema el fnaa. Highly recommend! It was a little tricky to navigate to when we first arrived as we did not pick the airport transfer option, but a friendly local pointed us in the right direction.

Amid nous a accueilli comme si nous étions des invités de marque. Il allait au devant de nos besoins et s’assurait constamment que nous avions tout ce que nous avions besoin. Le Riad est bien entretenu et nous sommes toujours accueillis à la porte, peu importe notre heure d’arrivée. Les petits déjeuners étaient copieux et bons. Facile d’accès en voiture avec un stationnement à proximité.

Le Riad est situé dans un secteur un peu douteux. Nous devons parcourir des rues mal éclairées et pas très propres. Une femme seule pourrait ne pas s’y sentir en sécurité.

Insgesamt ein schönes Riad in guter Lage. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht, insbesondere Hamid, der seine Arbeit außergewöhnlich gut macht und uns täglich mit seinem tollen Service beeindruckt hat.

Die Hammam Anwendung war ok, die Sauna eher kalt, die Matten in der Sauna wirkten nicht sauber und die Dame, die die Anwendung gemacht hat schien ungeduldig und machte alles sehr schnell. Die Massage war angenehm, aber das schöne Hautgefühl nach der Hammam blieb leider aus.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nous étions en famille donc Riad privatisé super. Riad propre , chambres très cosys , bien placé pour visiter, petit déjeuner copieux et notre dîner était très bon. L’accueil et le personnel était super et un grand merci particulier à Amid pour sa bienveillance et gentillesse. Massage très bien aussi , Je recommande ce Riad.

Pas grand chose a reprocher, le lit chambre du bas un peu trop dure mais c’est perso. Redonner un coup de peinture sur le plafond la salle de bain .

Hospitality takes the biggest rating - the staff put their best foot forward to make our stay as pleasant as possible. From our arrival on day one to our final day, all the staff were absolutely brilliant in ensuring we had a good stay. Hamid in particular, went above and beyond, giving us a great introductory guide to Marakech, showing us around the Riad and the necessary tips to explore the city safely and yet have fun. Khalid helped us to organise hassle free activities to make the most of our holiday in Morocco - our last minutes changes were really well accommodated with little to no hassle for us at all. Hassan and the team manage the Riad really well - and the lovely ladies make sure everything is well taken care of.

One area of improvement, perhaps a feedback for the owners - this property sits in a great location, is reasonably priced, however, it requires some renovation/maintenance, especially in the bathroom areas where there are signs of damp/mould.

La disposition du lit , malheureusement peu d espace de part et d autre . Un petit frigo aurait été un avantage . Des petites bougies sur la table le soir aurait été un plus . Pas beaucoup de contacts avec le personnel .

We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen met een kopje thee en een koekje, wat meteen zorgde voor een warm welkom.

Het verblijf was prima, maar helaas erg gehorig waardoor we minder goed hebben geslapen. Daarnaast vonden we het jammer dat we geen gebruik konden maken van het ontbijt omdat we al om 07:15 moesten vertrekken en het ontbijt pas vanaf 08:00 beschikbaar was. We kregen wel wat droog brood en sinaasappels mee, maar voor een flesje water werd extra gerekend. Dat voelde wat onvriendelijk. Ook de transfer die we regelden via de Riad, was een half uur te laat…

We spent 2 weeks in Morocco and this was our favourite accommodation by far. The place is a hidden sanctuary inside a maze of loud and busy medina streets. It’s bewilderingly quiet and serene inside and it does truly feel like a spa experience just being there. The premise is absolutely beautiful! Room was very spacious, super clean, and very tastefully decorated. The patio upstairs is gorgeous and a great place to spend an afternoon lounging around. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. And service was second to none! - Best we’ve seen in all of Morocco (thank you Ftah). I even managed to take a dip in their little pool which was a truly wholesome experience after a hot day out.

Property looking a little bit tired Paint falling off, mould on the bathroom ceiling. When we was ready to check out was told if we paid by by card, we would have to pay an extra 2% for card fees we was not made aware of this before booking. Property is not very well signed posted took over 30 minutes to find and is a little bit daunting when you first get that down a very dark alleyway.

Riad Dar Alma and Spa is a lovely hidden gem in Marrakech, within walking distance of the souk and main attractions. The riad is clean, well-equipped, and offers a great breakfast with varied traditional options. The terrace is a nice bonus, and the staff are wonderful—especially Morad, who went above and beyond, even arranging takeaway breakfast for early departures.

There are a few minor downsides to note. The rooms can feel a bit humid due to the lack of outside windows, and noise can carry easily as the walls, doors, and windows are quite thin. The bed was on the firmer side, and the pillows were quite flat, which may not suit everyone’s preference. Additionally, the riad can be a little difficult to find at first—having a plaque or clearer signage on the street would be helpful. Overall, Riad Dar Alma and Spa offers a warm, authentic experience with excellent service, and we would happily stay here again.

Nos gustó todo, estancia muy tranquila, ambiente local, desayuno muy muy rico, amables y serviciales en todo momento.

- tolle ruhige Lage in der Nähe der Souks ( 5min)--- Wenn wir nicht abgeholt worden wären, hätten wir es kaum gefunden - sehr familiäres kleines Riad ( 5 Zimmer mit 12 Betten) welches liebevoll restauriert und eingerichtet ist - Durch die vielen Mitarbeiter haben wir uns wie ein VIP gefühlt. - Das Essen wurde extra für uns und nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet und schmeckte hervorragend.

Wir empfanden die Zimmer als SEHR hellhörig! Die Toilette des Nachbarzimmers war direkt an unserem Kopfende, so dass wir bei jedem Badbesuch live dabei waren. Konstruktionsbedingt hört man bei normalem Sprechen jedes Wort aus allen Zimmern und der Küche. Wer hier etwas empfindlich ist, sollte dies unseres Erachtens einfach wissen. Was wir so in Marokko bis dato nicht erlebt hatten war, dass wir bei der Zahlung mit Kreditkarte 2% Gebühren selber zu zahlen hatten!!! ... und wir haben sehr viel mit Kreditkarte in Marokko bezahlt. Das hat leider bei uns einen Beigeschmack hinterlassen.

De ligging! Overal dichtbij bezienswaardigheden waar je zo naar toe kunt lopen. Het gevariëerde ontbijt en de serene rust op het rooftop terras.

E’ stato tutto molto bello, nulla di negativo. Se proprio devo trovare una cosa da migliorare e’ inserire una seconda scelta nella seconda portata del menu’ vegetariano. Ma proprio per voler dare un consiglio.

Super fijne riad op een hele centrale plek met vriendelijk personeel. Alles is op loopafstand, je krijgt iedere ochtend heerlijk ontbijt, 24/7 receptie en het personeel is heel gastvrij en meedenkend

We hadden de kamer beneden bij het zwembad. Doordat er een zwembad naast zat, was het snel vochtig. Ook op het plafond in de badkamer was zichtbare schimmel.

The rooms were great, lovely en-suite, and we had a lovely meal on the roof terrace.

The hammam experience was a bit strange - we were showered down and scrubbed in a small room in the corner of the ground floor with a reusable glove on a heated sponge mat, didn’t seem very hygienic.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au Riad pour l'occasion d'un enterrement de vie de jeune fille ! Nous étions 10 filles, le Riad privatisé pour nous toutes ! Le personnel est charmant , d'un grande gentillesse, c'est surtout Mourad qui s'est occupé de nous ! Il a été d'une grande disponibilité, d'une gentillesse, au petit soin pour nous !!! Le Riad est idéalement placé, à proximité de tout !!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au riad. Les chambres sont spacieuses bien équipées avec le nécessaire de base. Le spa est vraiment agréable avec un hammam traditionnel ainsi que de très bons massages. La décoration est raffinée et élégante. La cuisine, petite déjeuner comme dîner est INCROYABLE. Nous avons manger copieusement et avec des saveurs bien travaillées. C'était du comme à la maison mais avec beaucoup de goût. Le couscous et Tajine sont un vrai régal. Merci de nous avoir fait découvrir les saveurs et d'avoir toujours pris le temps de nous expliquer. Un énorme MERCI à MOURAD , qui est quelqu'un d'adorable, de généreux et qui nous a vraiment aidé, accompagné, et a été aux petits soins. Même si l'accès peut se faire pour la première fois avec un peu d'appréhension, le quartier est très calme et bien situé pour visiter la médina et aller jusqu'au jardin Majorelle. Ce fut un merveilleux séjour.

Posto super tranquillo, pulito e staff gentile. Classico riad curato nei dettagli. Abbiamo prenotato anche hammam e massaggio tramite il loro staff..tutti molto cordiali ed estremamente rispettosi. Dovrebbero solo evidenziare dipiù il punto preciso in cui si trova il riad, perché le mappe in generale non sempre sono aggiornate e precise.

It was in the perfect location, it was beautiful and clean. We had Murad with us throughout our stay at the riad, and he made our trip amazing. He was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and made sure we were okay and happy. Murad was the perfect host, our meals were also perfect. We thought he had been working there for years and would like to thank him again for everything!

Beautiful and authentic riad in a great location inside the Medina. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and the homemade breakfast was delicious with traditional Moroccan pancakes, fresh fruit and great coffee.

Honestly nothing, everything was great and the stay was very pleasant.

Die Betreuung im Riad war sehr gut, es ist 24h jemand erreichbar. Vom Riad aus wurde uns auch eine tolle Tour organisiert. Das Frühstück war frisch gemacht und hat jeden Tag variiert. Unser Zimmer war schön, die Lage des Riads ist total ruhig - es liegt 5min zu Fuß von den Souks entfernt.

Das Badezimmer ist sehr feucht. Aber das war auch schon alles! :)

The Riad is beautiful and exactly like in the pictures. Everything was clean with attention to the details and the staff was amazing! Abdullah especially helped us a lot when we ran out of hot water, he let us use the shower in the hamam. He also helped us a lot with our luggage during our checkout and he prepared and served us a delicious dinner! The breakfast was really good as well. They even let us check in earlier which was very appreciated. There is also the option to pay by card.

The only thing that we didn’t enjoy that much was the massage. We had massage one evening and while we booked for 1 hour, it didn’t last that long. There is not a dedicated room for it, it’s just within the common area behind a curtain so you can hear everyone coming into the Riad, sounds from the kitchen, etc. Also, the masseuses were talking to each other during our session which made it difficult to relax. One out of the two beds was not made for massage so it was not comfortable at all.

Hele fijne Riad op een centrale plek. Alles beloopbaar. Mooi ingericht, comfortabel, fantastisch ontbijt en mooi dankterras. Maar vooral het personeel wat superlief, hoffelijk en gastvrij. We komen zeker terug.

The stay at Riad Dar Elma and Spa was excellent - riad is located close to the medina, quiet and safe area, you need 20 minutes to go to a good atm at the main square, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food at the place is very tasty. Overall this is a good base to explore the city. The staff will help you with everything and organise trips. We took the baloon one for a decent price and it was amazing. Some lessons learned that might be useful: - it is worth to take the driver, he will most likely wait for you when you leave the airport, not when you reach the arrival hall, - at the riad you can pay with a credit card but the best option seems to be euro in cash, - in the city the best option is to use barid bank atm at the main square. It has very good exchange rates (it was a bit below 0.40 PLN). So bring euro in cash for the riad tours/services and the rest from the atm - when you walk from the riad you first reach a square, go west for souks, south for the main square and east for doukala bus station and local food market. - If you go east from the above square there is a little barber place after a few metres on you left. The guy over there does old school razor shaving for 3 euros, amazing stuff, - we took the full day city tour, our guide had a great knowledge about the city and very interesting stories but be aware of the shopping. I think the guides take you to some places run by their mates. You can find places with much better prices on your own (difficult to rate the quality tho). In our case we were taken to a berber pharmacy and spent a bit too much for what we got (it wasnt so bad - they did explain stuff and offered tea, also gave some money back later).

Foi a nossa primeira visita a Marraquexe e não podíamos ter escolhido melhor. O riad é fantástico: muito limpo, acolhedor e com uma localização privilegiada. O que realmente tornou a estadia especial foi a equipa. Fomos tratadas com um carinho e cuidado imensos; estavam sempre prontos a ajudar e deram-nos as melhores dicas para explorar a cidade.
