Lee Farm Inn

Great place and great hosts. The room was comfortable and the food wonderful.

We had an incredible stay at Lee Farm Inn. Laura and Fred were very welcoming and kind enough to offer dinner service, as the options in Stanstead are limited. Both meals we had were of five-star quality. The inn itself is beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. We hope to have a reason to go back. Thank you for the great experience!

The property was beautiful and clean, the hosts were very friendly, and the food was amazing! You could tell that Fred and Laura had worked hard to create an awesome experience! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property! Thank you Fred and Laura

Lovely restored farm house with lots of comfortable chairs with views of the beautiful property. Breakfast was excellent

I love this wonderful inn, gorgeous property, wonderful hosts, just perfect all around!

Incredible place. The perfect stop on the way to Mount Washington. Everything's perfect. A beautiful house in a great setting. Jacuzzi under the trees, little bridge over a small stream, pool, garden, many living rooms. This 1810 farmhouse is a must!

The best B&B I have ever stayed at. The place and the room were incredibly. It was beautiful, quiet and felt very safe. The grounds were wonderful, very serene. Fred and Laura were absolutely wonderful. They made us feel so welcomed and we had great conversation. They made us feel like family. They were always there when we needed something. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lee Farm Inn. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The hosts were incredibly warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area, offering great recommendations for things to do and places to dine. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight - fresh, delicious and clearly made with love. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, making it an ideal place to relax and recharge. We couldn't recommend this lovely Inn enough and we are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you so much Laura and Fred and little George.

Wonderful place to stay! We had stayed about ten years ago and enjoyed it, but subsequently a young couple bought the Inn and have made many improvements. They are the best hosts imaginable! Very attentive and welcoming, and the warmth of their young family sets a happy tone for the entire experience. Great location just at the US border so ideal to break up a driving or biking trip.

Lee Farm Inn is a jewel. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding.

A charming and cozy auberge run by a lovely young couple. Warm, personal service, fresh and delicious food, and an all-around delightful experience.

We stayed for two nights in July and we loved it. The room was very clean and it’s the only room with a small balcony we could sit out on. Fred and Laura (innkeepers) could not have been nicer to us and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. We loved the breakfast each morning and enjoyed an entire afternoon at the pool. We even used the hot tub. Everything was perfect. We also rented a boat at the Fitch Bay marina which was a highlight. The inn is about a 1 minute drive from the border so it’s very convenient. The Inn deserves all the top notch reviews it has received. Can’t wait to come back.

Laura was a wonderful host. Very kind, welcoming and friendly. The home was beautiful as were the grounds. Highly recommend.

Very welcoming couple. Great breakfast. Relaxed environment. Will stay again.

The most comfortable bed on my journey. Also the best breakfast on my journey.

A beautiful and comfortable place to stay in the area. Breakfasts are exceptional and the owners are wonderfully friendly. Couldn’t ask for better accommodations.

The couple who runs the bed and breakfast were excellent. Our room was outstanding and they were very accommodating. Great ambience and atmosphere. Cute little areas that are available for relaxing. Book reading or just sipping wine while enjoying the fireplace is available all over the house. We weren’t the only guests but we felt like we were there by ourselves. Very romantic but also family friendly. The sauna and hot tub was a great touch

As always our stay at The Lee Farm was excellent. Very good service. A restful atmosphere, An amazing breakfast.

Great place, I will recommend it and return.

The owners were welcoming, and social. The accommodations were beautiful, inviting, warm, clean, and in good working order. The breakfast was delicious, and more than we could eat. We enjoyed the community and a lovely couple from Quebec City, who were there for a 4 dat stay. We were most happy we chose Lee Farm Inn.

Spectacular breakfast , lovely beautifully restored warm old home and really welcoming hosts.

A beautiful house and garden, the hosts are friendly and attentive and the breakfasts are fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Inn with lots of attentions. Host was divine and the breakfast was amazing. The building itself is a walk back in the past.

Great host, lovely property, excellent breakfast

This is an amazing place to stay! We were so happy we jumped over the boarder and our new friends at Lee Farms!

I don’t typically stay at b&b spots, but this one is special. As a business owner, I live that a younger couple has taken the risk to revitalize a property that was built in 1810 to make it a very cozy b&b. If you're into staying at historical properties, this is your spot. The breakfast offering was amazing, defintely stands out among the hundreds of hotels I've visited. Not much to choose from in the area for dinners, etc. Everything closes very early, so that was my inlynstruggle, as I flew cross country, drove to the location and there was nothing open for dinner at 8pm. Bottom line, i will be back when here for business next time.

Wonderful B&B with a fantastic view of the St. Laurence River below. Hosts were very genuine and friendly. Ceiling fan kept us cool, my only suggestion was a small TV for the room. Wonderful breakfast to start your day, cooked to order by the hosts.

Excellent!

Beautiful and Historic Property. Excellent and Friendly Hosts.

This historic Inn was only a 3 minute drive over the Canadian boarder. We had a warm welcome from The owner, Fred. Our room was clean, a very comfortable bed and we had a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend.

They breakfast was very nice at the Inn, but dining options for lunch and dinner in the area are somewhat limited.

Nous recommandons fortement lee inn

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The house has such an ancient charm and the hostess was delightful. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful house, easy online check in, clean room. The host is friendly and very helpful. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend

Very nice and comfortable room. Breakfast was great. Hosts were very friendly. Will stay there again.

Outstanding property…beautiful…peaceful

Beautiful property. Comfortable bed. Friendly owners quiet area.

This inn is world-class, outstanding in every respect. Everything, and I do mean everything, is perfect. The hosts are lovely - they are super nice and accommodating. The building itself is incredible, with very close attention paid to every detail. The breakfasts were great also. If you are thinking of being anywhere in the area, this is where you should stay. And without being unkind to Magog, 25 minutes to the north, this area is more peaceful and charming.

Our stay at Lee Farm Inn far surpassed our expectations. The property is absolutely gorgeous, it is immaculate and the service was phenomenal. I felt like family. I would highly recommend to any traveler - or even to anyone who just wants to get away for a nice weekend!

Very nice place to stay

Staying at Lee Farm Inn is like staying at your favorite Aunts house. The hostess, Laura, greets you warmly. There was a cozy fire and soft music on our arrival, both welcomed on a cold day in late October. The house itself is over 200 years old and very charming. I think all the bedrooms are upstairs. Laura prepares a wonderful and enormous breakfast, served in a lovely room. She then sent us on our way with fresh baked cookies! A sprcial place.

This is a great place to stay. The host was wonderful, and we had a great breakfast. I would recommend staying here to anyone. These are good folks.

Lee Farm Inn is a wonderful property that we highly recommend.

Such friendly innkeepers and we loved Lola, the dog! The inn is quiet and, had we stayed more than one night, we could have taken advantage of the outdoor kitchen & grill, the pool, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the screen house. There is really no restaurant in town, so we prepared our own evening meal and the inn had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, local cheeses, and the best coffee!

Superb breakfast. Personalized service.

The property grounds were excellent, hot tube and heated pool were relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious and kept us going through the late afternoon. Laura (the owner) was very friendly and had answers to all of our questions. The room was very nice and had an outdoor balcony. The bed was very comfortable and bedding was luxurious. There are a lot of sight seeing with in an hours drive from the Inn. We will be going back for another stay.

Lovely Inn, with beautiful rooms and fabulous breakfast.

This is a beautiful property (inside an out) with a wonderful hostess and a very cute dog. The breakfast was filling and delicious.

We had a great stay at the Lee Farm Inn. Laura and Fred are amazing hosts. They greeted us at the door and showed us around the beautiful inn and property. The breakfast was so delicious and plentiful. I definitely plan to return. Highly recommend.

Great stay!

Warm welcome from hostess who spent time telling us about about the home's history. Everything is tastefully decorated, including our Lady Banting room. Breakfast was beautifully presented with early morning hot drinks on hand earlier for self serve. Very comfortable bed. Couldn't ask for anything more.

This was an amazing stay. It was my first time here, chosen purely for location based on where I needed to be for other business, but I would come back in a heartbeat. Laura (and pup Lola!) was so very welcoming, and the space was entirely relaxing. I had to depart very, very early on my last day and she packed up a breakfast to go for me❤️ Again, a wonderful stay.

We were looking for a place that was close to the U.S. border on a holiday Monday, so we could start the long drive to Old Orchard Beach the next day. What a beautifully decorated old house, full of history! Each bedroom has such distinctive touches. Our hostess Laura was proud to show off the many special seating areas, and features such as the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was beautifully presented, including a gluten-free muffin specially made for one guest.

Lee Farm Inn is beautiful - far exceeded our expectations. And Laura is a joy!

Lee farm inn is perfect, peaceful, friendly, and their breakfast is oishi (delicious)!

Superior service and attention to details by owner. Personable and responsive. Great communication. Super confortable and quaint inn.

Beautiful and charming inn with a very gracious hostess and wonderful amenities and ambiance. Highly recommended!

Lee Farm is a beautiful B and B, and Laura is a wonderful host. Our room was delightful. We wish we could have stayed longer and gotten to use the pool and jacuzzi. We did use the sauna, which we enjoyed. Our breakfast was generous and delicious: all sorts of fruits, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, and, of course, croissants. There are many peaceful rooms or outdoor areas to sit in, and the property felt very serene and relaxing. The farm has a long history, and many of the hanging photos and antiques speak to its interesting history. I would highly recommend this B and B to anyone who wants a peaceful and pampered getaway.

A wonderful surprise! This property was beautiful and so serene. Deer grazing on the front lawn.

nothing

Wonderful overnight stay. The owner is very attentive to detail and cleanliness. Breakfast was excellent.

UNIQUE PLACE TO STAY

Laura and Lola were amazing hosts. The Farmhouse is a work of art not seen in modern day homes. Laura goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The room and linens are top notch and the estate grounds are exceptionally maintained; you can walk amongst the mature trees in the front or take a trail through the bush up to the deck overlooking the rushing river. Or if you prefer, take a dip in the heated pool or enjoy a glass of wine in the gazebo. The breakfast is also a work of art and I almost felt guilty eating it (almost). Laura’s past experience in Hotel management shines through for an amazing overall experience. And in case you are wondering, Lola is Laura’s gentle loving sidekick of the poodle-Labrador variety.

Wonderful welcome!! A homey warm atmosphere. Clean and dry well appointed. Breakfast was above the cut too.

I cannot decide if it was the comfy bed and room, the gracious host, the delicious breakfast or the quiet tranquility of the location that I liked best. I would highly recommend a stay at Lee Farm Inn.

Amazing historic building. Beautiful room. Laura is the perfect host and Lola brightened our morning.

The condition of the property has declined since the last time anyone gave this a 5 star rating. The exterior of the inn, the gardens and the pool area are in need of tender loving care. The innkeeper admitted to having bought the property a year ago. Whether it was in decline beforehand or since the ownership change is unclear. While the interior still appeared to be in very good shape, the empty picture hooks all over the walls in our room detracted from the feeling of being well taken-care of. The service was excellent, as well as the breakfast. Hopefully the property is on the upswing, but it is currently (2023) not a 5 star anymore. We would not stay there again.

The hostess was welcoming and accommodating, the inn was pristine, the setting gorgeous, and the breakfast delicious!

Laura was a very kind and lovely hostess. Beautifully decorated rooms and gardens. Breakfast was delicious! Very interesting history of the early owners of the home, the Drs. Banting!

The Inn is charming, very clean, comfortable and classy, and the hostess Laura is friendly and helpful. Plus, the pool is lovely. The Inn is located within a few miles of the border and easy to find.

Beautiful Inn with very friendly, helpful Inn Keeper (Laura). Breakfast was great.

Lovely.

Auberge charmante, tranquille, très propre et dans un cadre magnifique! La propriété est champêtre et invitante. Très belle piscine, et spa, sous les arbres!!

The history of the house was close to my family

Wonderful, Quiet location. Great owners who are very friendly and serve up a great breakfast.

We stayed at the Lee Farm Inn for one night while on our way to Quebec City. The owner, Laura, was very warm and welcoming. She gave us a tour of the inn and told us about it's history. The room was charming and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which was delicious and elegantly presented. We would highly recommend the Lee Farm Inn!

The property is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were so lovely and helpful and accommodated every request.

the Lee Farm INN was wonderful . beautiful home with welcoming hosts and couldn't do enough for you . comfortable bed with lovely touches . Fabulous stay at this charming B&B. Immaculate and beautifully decorated. The hosts are extremely pleasant and well suited to own a place such as this. Looking forward to returning soon.

Excellent.

Very welcoming. We were the only ones there mid week early spring, and there was a nice fire in the fireplace when we arrived. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was superb.

Love the cleanliness and the friendliness.

Beautiful inn.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, amazing breakfast

Our stay at Lee Farm Inn was amazing, the host Laura was very helpful and made our stay extremely memorable. Looking forward to our next stay!!!

The Inn was just lovely and our Lady Banting room was beautiful and comfortable. The innkeeper was awesome at making sure we had everything we needed and very knowledgeable about the history of the Lee family farm of more than 200 years old, the original part. The Innkeeper was both fluent in French and English. And, her breakfast was superb! Everything was wonderful!

Beautiful B&B set back off the road. Laura and Lola(house dog) were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. We will be going back in the summer.

Sauna and jacuzzi with snow

We spent the weekend here and loved every minute of it. The grounds are absolutely lovely/welcoming. The house is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Our room had everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of spaces to escape to during day/evening within the house- great seating and cozy fireplaces at every corner. Breakfast is 5 ⭐️ .The breakfast is amazing- you will not leave hungry. We highly recommend you stay here- you will not be disappointed. We look forward to our stay next year!

Perfect quiet and relaxing get away.

Beautiful historic inn with lovely grounds and adjacent park. Great breakfast and outdoor hot tub; indoor sauna.

Charming B&B in old farmhouse. Good breakfast.

Beautiful B&B and the breakfast was amazing!

This 1810 grand heritage home is superb. Hospitality is warm, accommodation and breakfast next day wonderful. We will certainly return.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee Farm. Our only complaint was that our stay was too short; next time we will definitely stay longer. Our host, Laura, could not have been friendlier, answering every question and request with a warm and helpful response. The grounds at Lee Farm are beautiful, especially during the autumn months and feature unique highlights on the property itself and within walking distance. And our room was clean and comfortable with delightful touches. But of all the superlatives that could pertain to Lee Farm, breakfast is perhaps the standout. Yogurt, fresh fruit, cheese, eggs, crispy bacon, croissants, sausage…Exceptional! A wonderful place. I can’t wait to revisit — and stay longer!
