Casino
I liked the modern feel and the vibe the whole building, casino and food court gave.
1. The parking So far away in a gravel lot because there is very little parking. Inconvenient to have to wait on the “shuttle/gulf cart” to be taken back to lobby. 2. Bathroom smelled like mold, especially the shower. 3. Why would the children’s arcade and bowling alley open at 3:00pm if the indoor pool is under construction? Our “family” vacation plan was ruined, we are not from the area. Website is not updated with all the inconveniences the construction creates. We were supposed to stay two nights and checked out at noon after our first night. 4. Only two devices allowed on the room’s wifi, a charge of 8 or 9 dollars per additional device. 5. Casino machines have a very LOW payout.
Nice facility, friendly staff. A nice place to get away.
You have a center median at the entrance to the parking lot that is very hard to see at night. Might think about some reflective paint.
Staff and the whole place
You had to buy ur drinks while you was playing the the machines, most casinos i been to offer free drinks while you the machines
Very nice casino and hotel. Room was very comfortable and super clean. Compliments to housekeeping.
Could of won a little bit but that's why they call it gambling! And biggest let down was the price for a domestic beer while gambling. I come to drink and gamble ( which are complimentary at most casinos along with free pop,, water and coffee), but at 7 bucks a beer plus tip my gambling was cut way back because I refuse to pay such a outrageous price. North Carolina law states no free drinks, so lets charge double the going rate for a domestic beer..... No beer- No gambling..... Simple as that!... Will not return because of this poor corporate decision. Hate being taken advantaged of.
The food at the main restaurant was good and the grounds were well maintained. We gambled a little but that was not our main focus of this trip. Overpriced room for what it is.
I was disappointed that the main restaurant did not have their breakfast buffet Saturday morning so we had to drive into town. There was mold in the shower tiles, otherwise the room in the River Tower on the 2nd floor was fairly clean. We were there to attend a show at one of the local bars in Murphy, NC called Chevelle's 66 and there is NO car service from the hotel into town, 4 miles away. They have something called Cyber Lift that is $50 for a 4 mile trip into town!!!! I'm not paying $100 for a roundtrip fare.
The outside grounds were amazing
I found charging $7.00 for a beer was highway robbery
Convenient
N/A
It was surprisingly quiet.
Television channels are limited. Also, we were in line to check in, with a reservation, but had to wait unnecessarily so that "members" who got in line after us were checked in first.
The beds were warn out. Could not sleep. Changed rooms same problem. Check out of Harrah's early and found another hotel in the area.
What breakfast. There was none that we were told about
The pillows on the beds
Everything was landscape so nicely and everything felt organized just an overall great experience
The location.
I was a little irritated that I had to pay $38 for a "Resort Fee" Wth? I don't think that I should have been charged that since I didn't check in until 12:30am and checked out at 11:00am. The original price of $61 for the room was a great price but adding $38 for a Resort Fee for amenities that I didn't use. I had just driven 500 miles to go to a funeral at 2:00pm that I had just found out about earlier that day. My stay consisted of checking in, sleeping for 7 hrs and getting ready to go to a funeral. Harrah's Casino's make plenty of money and that just shows greediness on their part. The shower also has mold in the grout and should be cleaned better.

Nice place. Room clean and comfortable.
Room a little far from elevator. We are seniors and can't walk too far.
Great
all good
Great
I liked everything
I was hoping for a gift shop was My only disappointment
They allow white people to walk around in confederate gear totally uncomfortable for customers.
Friendly staff. New property. Affordable rates
Check in desk and elevators were nowhere near the entrance of the hotel. Not a huge problem but frustrating on arrival. Additionally, the restaurants at this hotel were over priced. Be prepared to spend a lot of you want to dine on the premises and not eat the “fast food” options.
Everything is clean and nice
It is not a resort, but I got charged for a resort fee. And I also get charged for pre-check in.
Too many charges which it doesn’t worth.

Fees 🥺
We loved the location of the casino. It fit perfectly into our travel plans and the price for the night could not be beat. The hotel had wonderfully spacious rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel had plenty of staff and the public areas appeared to be very clean. Check-in was pretty easy and straightforward. We stayed on the top floor and appreciated the hotel have a bellman to assist with the bags to and from the room.
There were numerous issues. I've listed them below so others are aware. I have previously stayed at casino hotels in both Louisiana and Oklahoma. Based on my expectations on these past casinos, my expectations may have been too high. 1. Unless you valet, parking is horrible. There is never enough handicap parking. With likely over 300 parking spots, there were only 14 handicap parking spots. There were multiple handicap cars parked in other areas of the parking lot leading to signficantly longer walks due to lack of available ADA parking. I understand that valet parking was available, but not everyone wants to have their car fully accessivle, driven or parked by a complete stranger. This was the biggest inconvenience. 2. The walk-in shower was covered in mildew/mold. If you are going to stay in a casino hotel, you would expect a better qualty of room. While the room was very spacious, clean, and the bed extremely comfortable, the overwhelming presence of mild/mold was a challenge. I'm not sure if it air flow, the grout, or just poor cleaning, but it is very visible through the shower. 3. The check-in desk from the front door is a pretty big walk. While my family and I can handle walks fairly easily, I was astonished at the distance to travel from the front door to the reception desk to check-in. 4. The hotel wifi was capped at only 5 Mbps. This was the speed given to all guests free of charge. The faster internet required a daily charge. Out of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed, this is the SLOWEST wifi I have encountered in over 20 years. There is a big difference from rewarding loyalty program members and nickel and diming your guests. This casino was ala carte charging for everything. I know inflation is affecting prices, but i could not belive how cheap this hotel was acting. It reminded me of the old dial-in speeds compared to what everyone expects and experiences.
This was my first trip here and I fell in love with this place. The Valley tower is so fresh and the colors are nice. I like to keep the room cold and I was able to get it to the most awesome level of cold. Check in was awesome at 4 on the dot. I didn't do any big winning but I sat next to 2 different people that got nice hand pays. That's me, sitting next to the winners lol.
The pool!
Everything was good except breakfast at Brew Bro. It was terrible and I told the staff but still got charged for the full meal that I didn’t eat! 🤬
Everything, had a great time
No safety bars in shower
The hotel check-in lobby has 3 lines; 7 Stars, Diamond, and 'everyone else'. I was in the everyone else line. Upon arrival, no one was in that line, so I made my way to the front. There was a couple in the Diamond and another in the 7 Stars lines. 7 or 8 employees checking people in, so very well staffed. Well aware that Diamond & 7 Stars would take priority (rightly so), but didn't expect to be completely ignored for almost 20 minutes. When the last Diamond OR 7 Star customer was called up, another 5 would arrive. The reps behind the counter didn't even acknowledge our presence, even though the 'everyone else' line was starting to back up. Finally, a supervisor surfaced, so we had a conversation about it. The point I made was clear: there is a way to prioritize 7 Stars & Diamonds without completely ignoring the common folk. If you are unwilling to do that, at least give us a Kiosk so that we can self check-in. Honestly, not sure I will ever be back. Will probably just keep on to Cherokee next time.
Room was great! Food court was great! Room was a good value
The only thing that I did not like was the parking situation. I don't let valets park my car. I am particular about that. So, half the parking lot was only for valet parking and the other half was full. So I had to park in the garage. The garage was nice, but getting from my car to my room was like a maze. You need much more signage.
Restaurant
Police showed up pounding on our door while wife and I were in bed. Said someone complained we had Destin violence happening. We were asleep and would not even apologize for having wrong room. Security for hotel was extremely rude as well as the front desk personnel. Will never stay there again. We immediately checked out and went to another hotel down the street.
Too expensive
We didn't have internet.
Time to upgrade beds in the original tower
Clean, comfortable, location
Machines too tight, have been for awhile No live band/entertainment
No room service, no clean towels, no beds made no clean sheets, room not cleaned
Clean and great staff
BeIen going here for years and have won many jackpots! Ample parking. The food is ok at Brew Brothers. Food was not so ok at Ramsay's Kitchen - and wayyyy too expensive for poor service and mediocre food. The staff are friendly! They really need more servers on the floor, sometimes I see none. I recommend it !
I liked the seize of the room as well as the I enjoyed the quiet I enjoyed the Valet Parking
I missed water in the room I missed a breakfast room for the guests
Our room was great, we stayed in the premium suite with the pullout couch. I asked for housekeeping to come bring us some pillows and blankets for the pullout bed and a housekeeper named Honey came up! I didn’t want to bother her with making it but she said she would be glad to make it so I let her! She was very very pleasant, very welcoming and friendly and just nice to talk to! She did a very professional job at making the bed and being very accommodating! It’s nice to know that someone that sweet is coming when I call them!

All the workers were amazing and helpful. Beds were super comfortable. This hotel is huge and So beautiful.
I didn't like how none of the slot machines were paying anything.
The location and the casino
Not enough smoking areas
Stopped in to have a little fun. The casino was nice and we decided to stay the night. When we arrived in the room everything looked good. We went down and played for a while. When we came back to the room we noticed a smokey smell. We thought it strange but used some febreze and it seemed to go away. However, about 2am I woke up and the smell had come back and was very strong. Called the front desk to have the air conditioner checked out as that seemed to be where the smell was originating from. However, maintenance didn't find any problem with it so they sent someone with a stronger deodorant to spray the room. It helped for a while but the smell came back. The sleep was unpleasant to say the least.
It was clean and there was plenty to do
I drove all the way to the other location because I thought there was only one Harrah’s. I parked, waited in line and then was told my reservation was at their “sister” location. I wish communication about there being 2 locations was better in the confirmation.
Casino, the food, and the rooms
Losing at the casino lol
Horrible! The food options are terrible. House keeping left us hand towels. Ask for towels and they brought more hand towels. We were charged an extra resort fee of 76.00 USD on top of others fees. I have stayed at Caesar’s since the 1970’s and I am disgusted with the service.
I thought the breakfast was too pricey. Wish I could’ve just chosen from a menu.
Wouldn’t change a thing.
I love the atmosphere and the whole experience 😍 💕
The food was ok but couldn't have been better
Getting valet service free with stay. They were very helpful
Spent $1000 for a $20 comp. I miss meal comps
Everything was top of the line.
Nothing. All is top.

The Caveman keno game(only available at the bars) was recently updated with a pay table that pays far less than previously. I will not be going back, since this is a game I prefer playing.
Bar staff at the sports book was great.
Food court and restaurant was overpriced and below expectations.
Food and casino
USB charging issues and lack of room service food
I decided I needed to get out of town for a bit, and I decided to go to a casino resort because (a) prices are pretty good in the off-season, and (b) I never got a chance to try out blackjack the last time I was in Las Vegas. I picked Valley River because it was the closest one to where I lived, and it only took a couple of hours to get there. Because I work on a flexible schedule (one of the few advantages of gig work), I picked a Monday-Wednesday trip because I could get the best rates then. I signed up for a Caesar's Rewards card (it's free, so what the hey) and got an even better price on it. Even with the resort fee, it was less than $100 a night. I got there around noon and asked if I could check in early, and Monica at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. She was glad to help, checked me in quickly, and even offered me a microwave for free when I asked if there were fridges available. I interacted with her a few more times during my stay and she was always a delight. The room was spotlessly clean when I arrived, and it had all I needed--a comfortable bed, a desk to work on my laptop from, and a mini-fridge already installed. My hopes to visit the historic parts of the town were dashed by bitterly cold weather, so I holed up in my room and worked on revising a novel. I did hear some loud talking from the adjacent room, but it was muffled enough by the wall that it wasn't distracting at all. The casino wasn't huge, but it was perfect for a noob like me. I can't tell you about the slots or any of the other games, but I had a great time playing blackjack. The dealers were willing to teach me how things worked and give me advice. It was a $15 minimum with a 3:2 payout, so it was an ideal place for me to get the hang of things. The dining options are pretty much a food court, a sports bar, and a fancy restaurant upstairs, but I was on a budget, so I didn't mind. The prices didn't seem to be any higher than they would be out in the world outside the casino. My experience might not be everybody's idea of a good time, but I hope this will give you an idea of what to expect.
Easy check in and really great priced. Great birthday stay!
Parking was great, casino was y,restaurant was great, food was good,Ramsey Kitchen was a great restaurant and the staff was friendly and nice.hotel is really nice and clean, great place to visit and have fun
I love the property, very nice and easy to check in and park your car or valet on the property if you choose
The hotel room was clean and comfortable. It was definitely upscale like you would expect from a casino hotel. What surprises me is that they do not have free wifi. And I was shocked that the bottom sheet was not fitted. I hate a sheet that wads up. The staff was first class. It needs better options on food. We do not eat there.
They didn’t offer breakfast
Rooms need microwaves
Did not know that I was going to be charged for a facility fee for every single night just show the total cost
We stop at the Valley on each trip up to Cherokee casino. (we live on the south side of ATL and if we leave at 9 we can catch a few pulls at Valley grab lunch on the river heading to the Cherokee. So we've been to Valley-- not to stay over night but to make a midway stop. Without exception over a 12 month period the RTP has been a disaster. So, we stop in for a drink,a few pulls-- very few and sometimes something to eat. We've gambled all over the place in the USA and must admit-- I don't put much credence in RTP rumors-- but in Valleys instance It appears to have some basis. Especially since we've been reading here what other players are noticing. We started to pay attention. So as much as we would love to STAY here - yes we've been offered comps at all Harrah's-- NOT GONNA DO IT. Games should not be rigged for a higher loss at one property over another. Not publishing the RTP is a good indication the Western Cherokee Indians are winning-- and BIG. But your losing also. Let me say all other Harrah's-- world wide are great. Valley Tribe Council you need to look inward here.
The tv screen was a good size for watching the Super Bowl.
The room next to us was smoking weed and the smell was coming into our room.
Convince of having a room at the casino. Nathan's Restaurant was phenomenal. Lot's of security.
Some of the restrooms were not very clean in the casino.
The employees for the most part were very friendly. Location was very good.
The elevator and rooms needed a deeper cleaning. The common areas were kind of dark, it felt more as a place for gambling than a resort, unlike the better Vegas resorts.
Vibe
Beautiful property, surroundings.
Very large, so possibly difficult for disabled
No breakfast, no shops. Enjoyed playing games.
No shops or restaurants.

Everything
Very clean and pretty, had things to do for kids underage to do
Loved our room in the Valley Tower. I like that the property was non smoking. Friendly & helpful staff.
Wish there was another restaurant choice. Not a fan of 'food court'. Waited 20+ minutes to be seated at the Sports bar & that was on a slow night!! Pizza was greasy & soggy.
