What a magical place, absolutely beautiful. Our family really enjoyed their stay. The accommodation was exceptional and the staff were friendly.

The property gives you the much needed tranquality and peace that one would long for.

It was like finding a hidden gem! Excitement, surprise and joy in all of our activities. Friendly and professional staff, clean and well equipped accommodation, beautiful location.

Short time we had to spend there

Amazing view from my cottage. A short walk to the rocky beach to catch a magnificent sunset. Not to mention the wildlife and flora. Saw eland and zebra and admired the vast fynbos species. The reserve provides great reference to learn more both within the cottage as well as on the trails.

I suspect my cottage recently had some renovation done. Lamps/chargers couldn’t be plugged in without moving the heavy bed.

The Fisherman's House was comfortable and situated close to the shore. Newly renovated, everything was fresh and clean. The bedding luxurious and comfortable..

We really loved the location, the wildlife and fauna. The quietness and privacy of our stay was a bonus.

Very nice apartment in fantastic coastal nature reserve!

Prestine environ8ment. Nature walks, beach walks, lighthouse. Wedding Chapel/Conference facilities beautiful!

The location is unsurpassed. The cottage was newly renovated with a modern look and feel a lot of extras, like USB ports in the headboards. The window benches were really nice.

Suggestions, not dislikes: serving platters and snack bowls would be nice. We reported that the fan/light in the lounge did not work, but it wasn't fixed. I suspect it forms part of the snag list after the renovation.

Sehr gute Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung.Alles war sehr hochwertig und es fehlte nichts.Es gibt einen schönen Pool.

Es gab Schwierigkeiten bei der Einfahrt durch das Gate, weil uns der Code verspätet erreichte.Die Rezeptionistin konnte das nicht glauben.

Ons het nie ontbyt gekry nie. Dit was nie ingesluit nie. Al die fasiliteite was baie mooi, skoon en netjies.

Die grondpaadjies was nie in 'n baie goeie toestand nie. Daar kan meer aandag daaraan gegee word.

Gourikwa was amazing, one of the best holiday we've had in South Africa. Accommodation is stunning, we could rest and enjoy nature.

Beautiful location with view on the sea and indigenous vegetation. Kitchen was well-equipped, room was spacious and comfortable. Outside stoep and braai also had seaview.

Our unit was at the parking area, with the tenants at the other units moving up and down in front of our unit to get to their cars for unloading and uploading.

We had an incredible stay at Gourikwa Nature Reserve. Everything about this place is absolutely breathtaking — from the phenomenal views to the stunning natural surroundings. The amenities were lovely and thoughtfully done, making the stay comfortable and effortless. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape from everyday life, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the beauty around us. The experience was nothing short of magical — serene, beautiful, and unforgettable. We would happily stay here again and again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil, scenic getaway.

The one thing I would add to the room is a mini oven /microwave oven - rather than just a 2 plate stove and an ordinary microwave.

The village is 1km from reception and unfortunately no restaurant facilities were available out of season. Coast road gate not operating unfortunately

Second time staying, and it is just a spectacular slice of heaven, will definitely be back and will definitely be staying longer.

Beautiful coastlines and nature drive .

No 2 point plugs in the rooms. We had to drive all the way to Stilbaai to get some. We could not charge our cameras. At least change the one in the kitchen please.

We were placed in a unit and the next day we have been transfered to another unit. The unit that we booked on booking.com and the unit that we received was not the same unit.

It was lovelly. Very very neat. Well equiped. We had problem with microwave. They replaced quickly. Only hiccup was faulty geyser towards end of stay. But was reported. Very friendly staff
