Reviewed Oct 11, 2025Arrivé en train. Hôtel juste à côté. Très bon accueil à mon arrivée. Chambre propre. Literie confortable. Petit déjeuner bien approvisionné et bon. Seul bémol, le bruit à l'extérieur généré par des individus sans doute alcoolisés et cela jusque tard dans la soirée..... voire plus tard. Malgré tout, bonne expérience 😊

It is right at the Metro station so getting to the city center is fast and easy. The area around the hotel looks a little rough but the hotel itself is nice.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2025Les chambres sont impeccables et vraiment confortables pour un prix modique, et l'hôtel est situé au-dessus d'une supérette ouverte tard le soir. Tout cela est très bien. Malheureusement la réception, comme annoncé, est toujours fermée, même quand la borne d'enregistrement automatique est hors d'usage ! J'ai fini par avoir quelqu'un au téléphone, et par pouvoir entrer dans ma chambre, mais j'ai bien cru devoir chercher au dernier moment un autre hébergement. Un hôtel ne tient pas sans un minimun de personnel, car la technologie n'est pas infaillible !

Reviewed Nov 17, 20241er séjour chez vous. Nous avons eu une chambre avec deux lits simple. J'ai beaucoup aimé le fait que la chambre soit chauffée qd on est rentrzz vu qui faisait froid dehors. Literie confortable, eau et pression très convenables. Très bon séjour. Le monsieur de l'accueil était vraiment sympathique, avec un sourire et de l'humour qui nous a mis à l'aise. Je recommenderais l'établissement

At breakfast there were no English breakfast tea bags, not every one wants to drink herbal tea. The room in itself was clean but the windows and toilet basin were not very clean. Overall staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2024Wij ligeerden er 2 nachtjes om in die tijd de stad Lille te bekijken. De baliemensen waren allervriendelijkst en behulpzaam. De feanse tal was boor ons een barriere, met ons schoolfrans en zij hun gebrekkig engels. Er is bij dat hotel alleen mogelijkheid om in de straat te parkeren. Bij ons is snachts de ( op slot staande) fietsdrager gestolen zonder de fietsen, die in het hotelschuurtje stonden.Ons was gezegd dat wij veilig konden parkeren langs de straat en de fietsdrager erop konden laten.We moesten op zondag weer terug naar Nederland om in Breda een fietsdrager te kopen. In Lille was er geen bedrijf daarvoor geopend. Door de taalbarriere kregen wij foute informatie daarover en verloren daardoor veel tijd. Waren daardoor weer erg laat op onze uiteindelijke bestemming. Dat was n slecht begin van onze vakantie. Later bleek dat er ook was geprobeerd om de uitlaat eraf te halen. Die bleek op weg naar onze bestemming geheel lis te zitten. Veel pech en we gaan nooit meer naar een hotel met zo n onveilige parkeeromgeving. Sowieso niet meer naar Frankrijk.

The area around is a bit rough - but it's near a train station in a large town, so not unexpected, and not at all unsafe. It's just there are nicer areas. It worked for what I needed though, and you get what you pay for!

Reviewed Apr 12, 2023We stayed here over the Paris Roubaix weekend, had an excellent stay. Great breakfast, parking close by, Easily Cycleable to the Roubaix velodrome in the morning. The manager was extremely helpful, and good English which was useful as my French is terrible. The room was comfortable, could probably do with a couple more pillows, and it was a touch warm, no matter what we pressed to cool it down, but the window was easily opened to let a breeze in.

Nous avons ete conquis par les chtis et le nord. L'hôtel était au pied du metro et de la gare. Nous avons fait tous nos déplacements sans véhicule. Roubaix est une tres belle ville !

Reviewed Feb 13, 2020受付のお兄さんの対応も優しく、ご飯も美味しかったのですが、14時～17時までお昼休みに入るので、スタッフが帰ってくるまで、一切ドアが開きません。このホテル直通の固定電話はありません。 委託先の総合問い合わせセンターにしか電話もインターフォンも繋がらない仕様になっています。 私が聞き間違えたのも悪かったのですが、荷物を預かってしまってもらっていたため、16時台の電車に乗らなくてはならないから、どうしても開けて欲しいとインターフォン越しに説明しましたが、17時にならないと開かないの一点張りで、 それでも何とかとお願いして、あらゆる部屋に関わる番号を伝え、インターフォン越しに、ドア開けたからと言われてインターフォンを切られましたが、全く開かず入ることすら出来ず、駅へ走ってチケットを変えてもらいました。 荷物を預ける予定がある方は、要注意してください。

Par contre l'accueil était pour le mieux: chaleureux, agréable et très arrangeant. Nous avons pu laisser nos valises jusqu'à l'heure de notre train.

A proximité un super restaurant italien, pas cher dont l'accueil est hyper chaleureux, pas cher et excellent, tuyau de l'hôtel, merci On se sent vraiment comme à la maison ! L'environnement extérieur n'est pas des mieux, mais franchement ce n'est pas un secteur dangereux du tout. Je suis une femme et cela ne m'a pas posé de souci.

The manager was friendly and gave good directions to the places we planned to visit as giving us some history and anecdotes regarding other spots we should see. There was no time on this trip but it certainly gave us the feeling that we should return another time to explore some more. The only problem is a scarce amount of parking spaces.

I will only be staying B and B hotels when travelling in France in future. Much. Much better than the Great Western we stayed in, which cost a lot more! We were slightly nervous on arrival because the area felt a little unsafe but it was only us being nervous, it was fine. Right next to the elevator for the metro into Lille. However, we didn’t much like Lille!

Reviewed Sep 10, 2017Great budget hotel, right next to Metro stop. Charming gentleman on reception at arrival and departure. Very helpful and friendly. Room was quite small with a wet room, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Bed super comfortable. Self service breakfast selection. Would definitely use again when visiting my Son at Uni in France.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2017I stayed at this hotel on 21st Aug. The hotel manager was welcoming, the breakfast was good value and satisfying, the room was large and tidy. There was some roadworks being carried out in the street surrounding the hotel so parking was a bit tricky but overall a good experience

Reviewed Apr 13, 2017Five of us stayed here for two nights to ride the Flanders Sportive in Oudenaarde and watch the pro race the day after. A great location close to town centre restaurants etc., parking was ok outside in front of La Gare and the Manager let us store our bikes in a secure storeroom downstairs - thank you, that was a perfect arrangement. Rooms were clean and spacious and I always like the B&B buffet breakfast. It all worked really well and I would certainly use the hotel again.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2017I didn't feel comfortable on arrival. There was no safe place to park the car and I would have been worried leaving overnight. With this in mind I drove off and found another hotel.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2017The rooms we had were clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were excellent (day and night shifts) and helpful. One of our rooms however did smell of cigarette smoke when we arrived, despite it being no smoking. There is a fair bit of noise from the escalator running all day and evening on the entrance side of the building.... request a room with a different aspect.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2016Recently opened modern hotel. Right beside the main train station in Roubaix, about 13km from Lille city centre. Metro stop outside hotel and tram stop a 10 min walk away. Clean spacious rooms with very modern facilities. Building works going on next door so a bit noisey in the morning. Staff very friendly and an optional continental breakfast for a good price available. Modern automatic check in at main door after reception closed.. Easy and hassle free to use. Could highly recommend this hotel for short stay.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2016Stayed here during the Euro 16 tournament, didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised on arrival. Friendly hotel staff let us check in at 11am. The room was basic but clean, had everything you could need though. Couldn't seem to get wifi to work, but it looked as if the hotel hadn't been open long so could have experienced teething problems. Literally outside the metro and railway station so good connections to Lille.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2016This was our first stop on a fortnight of traveling around France for the European Championships and although we were unsure on initial impressions, B&B Roubaix delivered on all fronts. Not in the most glamorous of settings, the hotel is located in a relatively tired outskirt of Roubaix but thankfully just yards away from the Metro station that will take you straight into Lille. We had a very comfortable two-night stay in the spacious, modern hotel and left fully satisfied with our experience. Positives; - Large rooms - Clean and modern - Fantastic value for money - Spacious walk in shower - Hot breakfast option - Transport links - Bearable Wifi Negatives; - Located in a 'rustic' area - Staff are slightly over vigilant in terms of noise levels
