el desayuno y las comidas exelentes. el lugar es maravilloso. y la atencion de Marina y Martina lo mejor de todo. Luana; Dniel y Gabriel en la posada tambien fue maravillosa. La habitacion un lujo. Gracias a todos.

En la isla llueve bastante, y no hay mucho para hacer en la posada ya que todo es al aire libre, y esta muy aislada. se corto la luz un dia entero y no hay grupo electrogeno en las habitaciones. por lo demas, todo fue hermoso.

We traveled as a family of four in August 2026, and the surrounding environment is nothing short of breathtaking—a lush, vibrant paradise where the jungle meets the crystal-clear water. We checked into the 4-person suite, and it was stunning. The highlight was undoubtedly our private terrace overlooking the pier, complete with a hammock. Spending afternoons swinging there with that view was pure bliss for everyone. The entire property has an intimate vibe that instantly makes you feel at home rather than just a guest in a hotel. One of the standout aspects of the service is their genuine care for safety and local knowledge. They provide complimentary snorkel gear, which is fantastic because the marine life right around the island is beautiful. However, if the weather takes a turn and conditions aren’t safe, the staff is proactive and advises you honestly against heading out. They also help seamlessly coordinate custom boat trips around the area whenever you want to explore. The Culinary Journey: A word of advice for future travelers: leave your rushing mindset at the mainland dock. The food here is completely homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The true magic is that everything is cooked to order and takes its time. Embrace the slow-food philosophy. We enjoyed incredible fresh fruit, great drinks, superb shareable platters, fantastic cocktails, and authentic desserts that left us wanting more every single night The entire staff works tirelessly, but a few individuals deserve a special mention. Luana is an absolute powerhouse—she manages absolutely everything at the hotel with flawless grace and efficiency. This place is worth every single penny. A flawless 10/10 family stay that we will never forget.

Il posto è bellissimo e paradisiaco, perfetto per chi vuole rilassarsi qualche giorno. L’atmosfera è molto rilassante, le stanze affacciano direttamente sul mare e anche il ristorante ha una posizione fantastica. La ragazza che faceva i massaggi e lezione di yoga era molto preparata e gentile.

Ristorante è molto buono, unica pecca ha dei tempi di attesa molto molto lunghi. È l’unico posto dove puoi mangiare dato che l’hotel è isolato, ma hanno un menu molto ampio che ti permette di mangiare sempre cose diverse. Ci sarebbe piaciuto solo che l’attesa fosse più breve

Les paysages,la plage privée, les couchers et levers de soleil,la proximité du lagon bleu en font une destination d’une rare beauté. Les hamacs sur les balcons et l’ameublement extérieur de bois très joli.

Ne pas avoir accès à du café avant l’ouverture du restaurant à 8h le matin, pas de miroir long dans les chambres, très petit espace salle de bain et surtout le fait qu’il faut payer très cher pour les déplacements en bateau taxi ailleurs sur l’île si non, on doit prendre tous ses repas au seul restaurant de l’hôtel.

It was a little slice of heaven. Waking up to the view every day was like nowhere else. We stayed in the Bungalow and it was just perfect. It was ultimate relaxation. I didn’t want to leave and would go back there in a heartbeat.

Increible hotel en ilha grande. Alejado del centro... No se aprecia en las fotos lo precioso que es... es increible de verdad. Hay una tranquilidad, una vegetacion impresionante. La piscina, el jacuzzi, la playita.... Increible todo Las vistas son increibles, una habitacion de ensueño. Fue precioso, muy buen desayuno, muy completo. Lo recomiendo mucho. Es de pelicula total.

Si luego quieres ir a abraao a pasar otras noches, te hacen reservar un barco privado y son 450 reales...... Es un poco excesivo.

This is a perfect spot to spend a few days and forget about the world. The standard room was very comfortable and had a lovely verandah from which to watch the ocean. The food is fantastic, especially the breakfast. The staff were really pleasant to deal with, and are very friendly. We brought snacks to eat for lunch instead of eating at the restaurant 3 times per day, and that worked well for us. Drinking water was available at all times in the bar area.

There are a few important caveats: - There is a lot of pleasure boat traffic in this area, some with lots of loud music. - The hotel does not offer any laundry service. - I was in a standard room, and there was quite a bit of noise transmission between the rooms. Thankfully we had quiet neighbours! - If you want to explore Ilha Grande, there does not appear to be any water taxi service - you have to make arrangements with independent operators and prices are quite high. The hotel can help with arrangements. - I never saw the bugs, but I received lots of bites on my ankles. I would recommend bringing bug spray.

Simplesmente sem palavras para falar do Paraíso Azul Retiro. Superou todas as nossas expectativas. Fui passar a Lua de mel com a minha esposa e ficamos no quarto SPA. Foi tudo perfeito, o atendimento foi incrível desde o primeiro momento. Sheila, Yasmin e equipe, muito obrigado! O restaurante é ótimo e com preço justo, o café da manhã delicioso. Para quem busca tranquilidade em um paraíso, esse é o lugar certo. Em 10-15min de caiaque você está em grumixama, uma das praias mais bonitas que já vi, e na lagoa azul. A praia da pousada também é ótima e a estrutura da pousada é perfeita para quem busca paz e relaxamento.

Both the location and the people who work there are unique. We were accommodated in a beautiful hut containing high-quality beds and attractive furniture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When our daughter fell ill, people provided us with all the necessary information, booked a boat for us and were generally very kind. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Water, tea, and coffee are available free of charge.

Breakfasts were simple and not so tasty, but this is a common issue in many places in Brazil. The hut lacked dark curtains, so light pollution from the coast and the nearby stairs was somewhat disturbing, as was the early morning light. Nevertheless, we would like to come back to this wonderful place.

Es un lugar precioso, con una ubicación excelente. Servicios increíbles. Muy buena relación precio-calidad. Para nosotros, lo mejor de Ilha Grande (es la cuarta vez que vamos a esta isla y la segunda a Paraíso Azul).

A comida deixou um pouco a desejar, o cardápio não é tão variado e falta um pouco de tempero. Pensando em ser um lugar completamente isolado a comida deveria ser espetacular e assim até induz o hóspede a gastar mais, nós não jantamos nenhuma noite por conta disso.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its boutique style makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway, surrounded by nature, it feels private and peaceful. We especially appreciated the complimentary kayaks and snorkeling gear. The water in the area is very calm, making it easy to explore nearby beaches and even reach the Blue Lagoon within 15–20 minutes. We went around sunset, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip, absolutely serene and beautiful. The staff were all really kind and helpful, and it was very convenient to book tours and boat transfers directly through them. The food at the restaurant was great too! We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.

The premises are well designed in general and the location is fantastic. The staff is the best part, very polite, very attentive.

The restaurant could be better. There was only one kind of fish available ( cavala or mackerel) which is a heavy oily dark fleshed fish that I do not enjoy. In an island full of fishermen, I think you could offer more fish options. The olive oil is also of bad quality. You could use some normal olive oil like: olive, Borges, even Galo verde or Andorinha are better options to what you had. You could also review the way you make bread, specially the Portuguese rolls ( pão francês). There is space for improvement there.

A pousada tem uma localização excelente, perfeita para quem busca descanso, tranquilidade e contato com a natureza. A vista para o mar é simplesmente deslumbrante. A praia em frente à pousada é um destaque à parte: a água é bem morninha e cristalina, e é possível ver peixes com facilidade, mesmo sem entrar muito no mar — uma experiência deliciosa e relaxante. A alimentação é maravilhosa, e os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos e prestativos, o que torna a experiência ainda mais especial. O passeio de caiaque foi um dos pontos altos da viagem. O mar estava calmo, o que facilitou bastante o trajeto até a Lagoa Azul. Conseguimos ver muitos peixes sem precisar alimentá-los e até tartarugas, o que foi incrível. Além disso, as trilhas são lindas, cercadas por natureza exuberante, com muitas árvores, cachoeiras e até pés de jaca pelo caminho. Ilha Grande é um lugar único, cheio de paisagens inesquecíveis. As fotos não conseguem traduzir toda a beleza que se vê pessoalmente.

Como ponto de atenção, aos finais de semana há um aumento no movimento de embarcações e jet skis, o que pode impactar um pouco a tranquilidade. No entanto, isso acaba sendo consequência natural de um lugar tão bonito e procurado.

El lugar es realmente un paraiso en el medio de la selva con playa privada y todas las comodidades. La estetica de todo el complejo es preciosa y con playa privada! El personal es super atento, en especial destacamos la atencion de Luana. La habitacion tenia una hermosa vista al mar donde podiamos ver el atardecer y era hermosa. El restaurant tambien era muy bueno y con precios super razonables considerando que no hay otra opcion que comer ahi.

Considerando el nivel de servicio excelente que ofrecen estaria bueno que tenga un buen barman.

"This place is truly a paradise. It has been a fantastic and relaxing week on a beautiful, unspoiled island. Incredible how a place like this is not yet a world-famous destination — but perhaps that is for the best. The room is excellent and well-equipped, and the small terrace with a hammock is perfect for unwinding in the evening. Breakfast is good and generous. The restaurant deserves special mention: the view is spectacular, the food is very fresh and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. Around the island there is plenty to see and do. The beach is small but sunbeds, umbrellas, snorkeling masks and kayaks are available to explore the surroundings and the Lagoa Azul. A true paradise. A special thanks to the staff, who are all extremely kind and wonderfully discreet. Activities such as massages and boat trips are also available. A true paradise compared to the noisy Abraão. Highly, highly recommended."

Some stuff in the fridge would be nice. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower as well.

Un paradis sur terre, que dire de cet emplacement idyllique, de cette vue depuis notre logement. C’est un vrai dépaysement, et différent de ce qu’on a fait au Brésil. On est vraiment coupés du monde. Le personnel est adorable, au petit soin de ses clients. Le restaurant est très bien, les produits sont frais. L’hôtel s’est chargé de notre transfert à Paraty. Merci merci merci ! Muito gratidão pra todos vocês

J’ai tout aimé. Sachez juste que l’hôtel est isolé et qu’il n’y a rien là-bas, pas de supermarché ou autre. Le restaurant ferme tôt car le personnel doit rentrer en bateau le soir, donc si vous avez des problèmes de wi fi comme j’ai eu les deux derniers jours, vous ferez une vraie digital-déconnection !

El hotel es hermoso, súper tranquilo y bien ubicado. El personal es muy amable, la atención fue súper buena en todo momento. El cuarto y la cama muy cómodos, el desayuno buffet bastante completo y el restaurante del hotel estuvo muy bueno.

En los días que estuvimos hospedados el clima estuvo malo, mucha lluvia, viento y frío. Nos hubiese gustado que en estas circunstancias el hotel tenga la iniciativa de hacer actividades grupales o invitar y enviar información a los huéspedes sobre las cosas que se pueden hacer, en lugar de que cada quien busque opciones de actividades por si mismo.

The pousada is located in the middle of the Atlantic forest by the beach; it's not part of any village. The next village (Bananal) is 30-45 minutes on foot along a forest hiking path, and there are a couple of restaurants there (I would not go at night, though). It's beautiful and safe to reach nearby beaches on foot, and it feels like a little jungle adventure. The food in the pousada is amazing, everything homemade and super tasty, with fresh fruits, cakes, seafood, fish and amazing caipirinha. It was my birthday, and they made an incredible birthday cake with brigadeiro filling! They have free kayaks, and you can visit the Blue Lagoon before the bigger boats arrive. There are also turtles on the beaches nearby! The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the sea! There is also a pool and sauna that we did not have time to try! The relaxing massage we had was to die for! The staff was incredibly nice and always had a smile for us. We felt at home in paradise!

I wish we had more time to stay! I wish I was still there! Since the Pousada is quite isolated, it can be expensive to get around by boat. I would stay again, since the Pousada offers everything I needed and more, but if someone wants to try multiple restaurants on the island and go to bars, this might not be the best place for that.

O anúncio do hotel é enganador, as janelas do quarto não fechavam na totalidade. Consequentemente, tivemos um morcego no quarto à noite e no dia seguinte uma barata. Íamos ficar 5 noites e fomos embora logo depois da primeira. A comida e os talheres estavam sempre com bichos. Não recomendo.
