- The location was superb. In the heart of Thamel. - Generally staff was nice and helpful. - You can asked them to pack your breakfast in case you need to catch sunrise

- The bathroom was different from what we saw in photos. We booked this hotel because we expected that the wet and the dry zone would be separated by the glass door. but it was not. - During our stay there were 2 cleaners. One cleaner would be decent. The other always forgot to refill our bottled water, shampoo, body wash, tea and coffee and never made our bed properly.

Luckily we were upgraded, otherwise many rooms don't have windows to the outside. The location and the service are good.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I love it! Staff are friendly, room is very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is awesome! It is in Thamel and within walking distance of many shops and places to eat.

I will start with why we chose this particular hotel. After arriving in Kathmandu in the evening, we were waiting for a transfer to Ramechhap which was to take place at 1 a.m. We did not want to wait on the street and asked the hotel if we could wait in the lobby. The incredibly nice staff said yes. The behavior of the staff made us decide to choose this hotel for the last few days of our stay in Kathmandu after returning from the mountains. It was a very good choice. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. Comfortable beds allowed for a great night's sleep. The breakfasts in the hotel restaurant were delicious and the selection of products was really wide. The restaurant staff was also incredibly nice and the lady from the restaurant advised me on choosing a gift for our Nepalese friend. The airport transfer was organised by the hotel and everything went smoothly and on time. The place is really worth recommending and the service is simply fantastic 😀

Not much. The hotel did allow us a late checkout which was helpful.

Staff were frustrating and useless at virtually interaction. Not once was there any apology or any humbleness in relation to the many shortcomings. Check in process was one of the slowest I’ve ever experienced. Door lock mechanism repeatedly stopped working, requiring a painful process with front desk and handyman to fix each time. Rooms were extremely noisy (to the point of disturbed sleep) due to street traffic and missing window seals.

Great location with a very nice breakfast. Rooms could use a little upgrading, but still comfortable. Staff was great, they left us a packed lunch for a 5am tour. Near shops & restaurants and meeting place for our walking tour

Very poor in terms of cleanliness and the photos they have posted in the app is I guess all old photos when they newly started the hotel the rooms are not clean I had to change the room 3 times and then finally got a little better room. The rooms are dusty, the towels they provided were not clean the washroom also wasn’t very clean in every corner of the hotel u will find dust, rooms or the restaurants where ever you go u will find

The cleanliness, a good hotel should NOT have coakroaches but this one did. The was not working, i did enquire about the TV and the staff tried to fix it but it did not work.

Breakfast was delicious. The staff reminded of breakfast timings everyday to make sure we were fed well.

Staff is really good

I stayed at Yatri for complete relaxation after coming back from month-long hikings of the Himalayan mountains. I enjoyed every minute of the stay, spacious clean room, yummy breakfast and soothing massages. However what Yatri's staff and their management did to me was something I never experienced. I left a travel wallet with USD and AUD cash inside in the room and returned home to Australia. Yatri had found my wallet and they tracked me down and contacted me. It is silly of me to leave things behind but I am glad to experience their integrity and to hold a wonderful last image of Nepal.

Everyone was so kind and friendly, doing everything required to make our stay as comfortable as possible, the manager did an exceptional job the place is clean and spacious overall a great experience

If there was an issue with anything the manger would address it immediately. Polite and friendly staff. Location was great.

It's an excellent hotel. All staff, including the manager, were simply superb. The room is thoroughly exceptional, and cuisine is outstanding. The hotel is absolutely neat and clean. I will visit here again soon

Hospitality, the manager was so helpful he made me feel at home. He addressed all the requests with a pleasant smile. The property is close to all the best places in Thames. The hotel arranged a cab to roam around the city.

Even though there were heavy rains in Kathmandu last week, the team managed to change my trips around the city with a big flexibility and help and I’d like to say thank you!

The property was located well within Thamel and I enjoyed my stay here for the most part. I had a bad experience with the rooms locks on the bathroom door and they had to break the door in, this wasn’t the greatest experience and the other bathroom in my suite hadn’t been cleaned in a long time or during my stay there and had feathers from birds outside the window on the floor, and lots of dirt and dust all over. Despite this my stay here was mostly positive and helped me relax after 3 weeks of travel in Nepal.

A gorgeous hotel. Beautifully furnished rooms, luxurious common spaces and in an ideal location. The breakfast offerimg is excellent and with a good selection for every kind of palette. Mr Bhagawan and the entire staff cannot do enough for you and make you feel like you are at home. It is a perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge and get ready for your next adventure. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and hope to definitely return. My little son absolutely loved it too! Thank you

We did not like anything about the property

To begin with we were provided with airport pickup and the the taxi which they sent was stinking badly. On arrival they gave us the Suite which was very different than the the pictures provided by the property. later we got to know, they have posted pictures of different property and they give you booking in some different property. When we got into the room, the intercom, wi-fi, fridge were not working. then they sent a technician to fix the issues and he took 4 hours to fix the issue and we could not move out of the room. Then we were shifted to another room and it came with is own issues. The toilets were dirty, The fixtures were broken. Then they again shifted us to previous room where the bathroom door was broken and door knob was not working. After 6 hours of harrassment we asked them to refund, and their Ops Manager Mr. Bhagwan misbehaved with us and told us that we people are not free to take your complaints all the time. He refused to refund our money and lady at the reception Ms. Majula was useless. She was just giggling and laughing in the whole situation. The owner also was very arrogant, he refunded only partial money when we did not even use any of the services. We were left stranded in the middle of the night after 6-7 hours of struggle. I would suggest never to book this place as one of their staff told their reviews are paid.

Amazing hotel. So comfortable, clean and.with a luxurious feel. The bedrooms and communal.areas are exceptional and so comfortable. There are nice touches such as welcome drinks, cookies and fruits in the room as well as daily room cleaning. Breakfast is excellent as is the perfect location. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and kind and Mr Bhagawan and other staff members helped us to plan a fabulous trip around both the Kathmandhu valley and far beyond, around the country. A gorgeous hotel with a personal touch. I cannot fault it.

The variety and the quality of breakfast they served was outstanding. The rooms and ambiance of the property was also of top quality. Do not forget to enjoy their rooftop bar with view of Swyambhunath stupa, Kathmandu valley and jungle.

location is good breakfast good room and toilet - quiet bad and smelly, insufficient lights. no exhaust fan in toilet, no floor mats, room arrangement doesn’t work . dark colored wall.

Airport pick up or drop off service was extremely disappointing and the car seemed, anytime can fall apart. no AC, driver didn’t even cared. car should not be on street.

It was best hotel in town. It has got all the facilities. My trip to Nepal was worth it due to this hotel’s service and cooperation.

Overall, the visit went well, and the hotel employees showed great hospitality, especially Susan who was very proactive.

But the breakfast needs a lot of work; it was the same during our stay, which made us quite unhappy. Breakfast mostly consisted of South Asian food; it ought to also have Asian food.

they charged more than the price on app. I paid the amount and then they asked to pay more as this is low cost for this property. If that is so then it shouldn’t reflect on the App right. also it was worth a ₹500 room. as the rooms were messy. no towels, bedsheets were so dirty and bathroom was unhygienic and without soap. There were accumulation of hair inside the toilet. Hair on the bed as if someone just used and never changed the cleaned sheets. smoking ashes on the floor. ceiling and walls smelling and bad.
