Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Great location and excellent staff. Limited storage in room. Room cleanliness was lacking (hairs, dirt, etc.).
Breakfast was expensive and not worth it. Front end staff very nice and helpful. Fun neighborhood around hotel. The restaurant behind the hotel - St Antonio is priced right and I loved the gargonzola burger!
Breakfast is 7 Euros. No to go / take away coffee for travelers. Very limited offerings. The AP transfers consisted of calling a cab for you. Very small hotel. Walkable to Notre Dame. Would not come back.
Nice 3 star property overall, rooms typical and small for Paris, elevator tiny. Great location near public transportation and many shops and all the dining a couple streets behind the hotel. One staff lady was rude to us when we asked if we could have our pastry and coffee in their little dining room that we brought from another bakery, she said "nooooo".
The hotel was very nice, well located, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The floor was not properly cleaned and there was a lot of hair, which made the room feel uncomfortable. I hope the hotel can improve the cleaning service, because everything else about the stay was really great.
Solo traveling and needed a place to stay for the night. The location is excellent only one train ride from the airport. The price I paid could not be beat! I was in the smallest hotel room with a bathroom that I ever stayed in. Worth the $.
The location is great, but the rooms are tiny. Well, you get what you pay for, so it’s great value for money. Ideal for short trips.
Compact but comfortable room. Excellent location close to many restaurants and attractions.
Quiet, good location, lots of dining and shopping options. The staff wasn't very friendly or helpful
Located in a busy area, just a few minutes walk across the River Seine to Notre Dame and close to the Marais district, the hotel in located in a short quiet side street off the Rue de Rivoli. The Hotel de Ville Metro station is only a minute walk away. The room we had was on the 2nd floor (out of 6 floors), overlooking the so-called courtyard at the rear (actually a space in-between the adjacent building) with only a view of a concrete wall. Being at the rear, it was very quiet as I also presume a street facing would also be in this side street. The room was small, clean and equipped with a shower, Wi-fi and TV. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We didn't use the breakfast room, but it looked to be ok. I would recommend the Andrea Hotel for 3-4 days stay in the city.
The coffee maker had mold in it. After we made the front desk aware nothing happened until the next day when the room was cleaned. There were two cigarette butts on our small terrace from our room.
Walkable to all the sites we wanted to see. Great restaurant nearby. Good shopping nearby. Friendly staff. Clean. Bed was comfortable. Good breakfast offering.
Great location - very walkable. Floors and walls weren’t clean in our room. Shower flooded the bathroom and into the bedroom. Hotel breakfast was not even remotely worth the money. The egg bath / boiler was full of old egg remnants from previous days. Staff were okay but not very helpful.
Everything important was walking distance or short train ride
LOVED this hotel!
Great location. Typically small, older Paris hotel with everything you need for a simple trip. Yes it was clean.
Best location and kindest staff.
We loved the location, the shower was wonderful and the hosts were very hospitable. The room was small however very clean and the air conditioning was very welcome after a long day walking around Paris
AC in room didn’t work - had to move to a cheaper/smaller room with no reimbursement since our room was downgraded from what we originally paid for
We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Andrea We had a double room with a balcony The space was compact but adequate Continental Breakfast available but we ate out Staff were very nice and really helpful Our flight from Beauvais to Bezier was cancelled due to Air Traffic Controllers strikes and Stephan was able to accommodate us for another night and also search for train tickets and bus tickets and print our bus tickets to travel over night to Bezier. That was my first experience of Paris Everything was close by and most of it within walking distance Notre Dame about 5 minutes walk Plenty of restaurants near by and Metro very close if required I highly recommend this hotel and the staff
Excellent location..wish the room was a bit bigger...
Location was fantastic but room was tiny. AC worked well and it was quiet overnight. Breakfast was minimal - I would have expected a bigger selection.
We were in Paris when it was so hot we were glad to have air condition and it worked very well
Very good overall
Perfect little hotel for a cheap stay in the center of Paris
Ok
Check-in was easy, and all the attendants were very helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was excellent—close to the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and surrounded by many charming cafes and shops. Thank you for a great stay!
Stayed twice o probably left a detailed review already. It is a gem
What a gem! Just like described, which is way more than you can say about some Paris hotels. Perfect location, wonderful staff, merci pour les instructions - thanks to their input after we filled the questionnaire of our interests, we had some memorable experiences about which we would not have known otherwise. We look forward to visit this hotel again!
Great location otherwise not clean and very small rooms and showers and bathrooms. If you’re staying more than 2 nights I would skip and find something better
Amazing deal! Best price/accomodation in Paris! Location is perfect(le marais!! + so close by foot to notre-dame, louvre, etc), room has everything you need, small (which i was expecting since business room for 1) but space perfectly designed and cozy. Very impressed by air conditioning unit that works better than most fancy hotels! Hot water, tv, slippers provided. Elevator which is rare in old building. Friendly and attentive concierge downstairs 24/7. Will be back !!!
One room had a balcony above the street, neat. Another room was plain.
Staff was excellent
Unfortunately, the staff was rude to my guests on several occasions. And there were issues with the cleanliness of the bedding.
Wonderful customer service
Andrea Hotel in the Marais district is in a central walking distance to many museums, coffee bars, and restaurants. It is on a side street off the main Rue de Rivoli. The rooms are updated with hardwood floors and nice tile showers. Each room has large windows which open to a small balcony over the street for a nice area to sit outside. The hotel has a small elevator as well as stairs. We walked a lot at night and felt very safe in the area around the hotel. The RER B train is about 13 euro from CDG airport to the nearby stop at Châtelet les Halles station. The hotel staff is bilingual French English and are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.
The courtyard room was a view of HVAC and electrical systems. Needles to say , not the courtyard expected. Service was typical Paris.
Acceptable hotel.
The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and the bed was VERY comfortable. But... The bathroom was very tight and using the toilet uncomfortable. I also found out as I was leaving, that the door to my bedroom didn't lock as I left. Had I known that during my trip, I would have been far more anxious about leaving it during the day and sleeping at night. Overall, a nice place to stay, but too many issues for me to ignore and I would potentially think about staying somewhere else.
The hotel was located nearby major sites, but small room, and after first 2 nights of itching, found bed bugs all over sheets.
The room was your typical Parisian size…but could not get over how uncomfortable the bathroom was. The toilet was right up against the shower and everything in there was so tight. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Lovely hotel in a great location, close to Metro, Le Marais and lots of restaurants. We had a room with a small balcony, which was very nice. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
Enjoyed the location and simplicity of the hotel. Rooms are small, and the shower flooded every time we used it. Overall it was an average hotel and on the cheaper side for this location.
It was small, but totally comfortable for two nights. The convenient location to the Louvre made this hotel incredibly ideal, and if you don’t mind a long walk, walking along the Seine at night to the Eiffel Tower was lovely :) would stay here again for a short term stay!
There were lots of problems during my stay. Ño electricity the first day and it took 3 days for them to get the internet back up. The reception person was not helpful, non apologetic, not friendly and just said it wasn’t her fault. Finally a really nice man showed up, kind, helpful and took over. We had internet our last day there.
The staff was friendly and the room was good, but the corridor may smell a little bit, especially during cleaning.
The hotel’s location is excellent, and the staff were particularly nice, especially Stephen, who handled both my check-in and check-out. I give him five stars. The room’s condition was acceptable for the price I paid, so I can’t complain. However, there was only a bottle of hand wash in the room, so if you stay here, you’ll need to bring your own daily-use items. The good news is there’s a small store about a three-minute walk away where you can get everything you need. The room was quiet most of the time; there was slight noise, maybe from the metro trains, but it didn’t really bother me. Overall, I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Just okay. If you only want to sleep. Lacking finesse and attention to detail. Definitely a three star or less in quality. Location was absolutely amazing
Perfect location
Area is convenient but the hotel is located right above subway, you hear trains passing every 10 mins or so. It would be noisy for some people.
I booked a room with a King Size bed, which was significantly more expansive than the Queen Size bed room. However, when checked in, I got a queen size bed room. The person at the reception said they don't have King Size bed rooms. I should Not have been charged the additional cost for the King Size bed room.
Comfortable small hotel on a quiet street. Friendly people and in a great location for us. We will be back, hopefully!
I’ve stayed at this property for over 30 years. You simply cannot find a better location
Super convenient location, and the room was pretty clean. But when I checked out on 10th November , the middle aged woman with at the front desk was super rude !!!!!!!!! She was having a bad day maybe (in the morning around 9 o’clock) , and I know she is parisiennes, but her attitude made me even sad. If she hadn’t been there, I would have giving this hotel a perfect review
It was conveniently located for walking and close enough to a couple public transit stops. In addition, there were many cafes/restaurants within a close walking distance that were delicious!
Very clean and excellent staff. Would stay again. Thanks!
Great place to stay
We stopped in for a night with a fairly early flight in the morning. The property is ideally located for both the RER and Metro. The room was clean and modern and everything we were looking for.
Continental breakfast had poor selection of food.
24 hour attendant. Helpful
The property is in an excellent location, just steps from shops, restaurants, bars and attractions. The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and professional.
We found this property last minute and was near all the necessary ground transportations. Turned out to be very comfortable clean and walkable. Staff was friendly and the price was right.
The hotel was very well situated. The staff were friendly and efficient. The safe in room good. The rooms clean and fresh towels every day. The room was very small and had no view but squeezed in the basics. There wasn’t a bar and more information about the local area (a map, where to go in walking distance and how to negotiate Chatelet Les Halles station - unbelievably complicated - and the public transport system generally) would have been helpful.
very good hotel i would recommend for sure
Walkable to all major sites in Paris. Situated in a quiet safe location surrounded by village style streets filled with delightful pavement eateries and grocery shops. Staff are very professional, friendly and very helpful. Room is basic, with a private bathroom. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. There is a delightful window seat with french windows for fresh air. The room is also air conditioned. Tea/coffee facilities in the room, Tariff is reasonable. I would certainly return to stay at this hotel. Thank you Hotel Andrea!
They have an amazing staff who really went above and beyond to help us and make sure we enjoy our time in Paris
I liked the location and the staff very much
Front Desk Manager Aurelie was very attentive to customer needs and very congenial
First time and I'll be back!
Only complaint is the banging of the doors. All the doors are stiff when closing which results in a banging noise when closed.
…..
Excellent spot in the Marais. Well looked after and clean. Only off point was TV wasn't working which normally I would let go but I missed some football games because of it.
Location was perfect. Great shopping and cafes all around. Room was clean and simple. AC worked great, bed was comfortable, and shower got hot.
Wonderful staff and very comfortable accommodations. Will be happy to return in the future!
Decent property. Could use some love and upgrades, and for breakfast to be included. Rooms are really small. Location is amazing! Staff is friendly!
Staff was very nice and helpful with baggage storage and check in check out. Room was a bit small but was clean and functional.
Great little (and I mean little) hotel in the Marais. Somehow in the heart of everything and still on a quiet street. Room was tiny but comfortable. Small desk and chair, bed, bathroom. Lots of outlets. Fantastic shower head. Staff was friendly and helpful - both in French and English.
The most unpleasant stay I ever had at any Hotel. The staff was full of attitude and I am also disappointed with expedia for advertising that they have air conditioning when they don’t offer air conditioning till summer season. We were hot and very uncomfortable in that hotel and had to sleep with wibdows open. Id never recommend this hotel and the staff was utterly unfriendly and hopeless except for one guy who checked us in and also the cleaning folks were very nice.
Clean and comfortable. A quaint boutique hotel. Very centrally located near the train and shops, restaurants and stores as well as bars and a lot of other nightlife.
The hotel sent me an email a week prior to arrival asking me if I needed anything specific. I replied by asking them to please have a room available for my arrival since I would be flying all night. The gentleman at the front desk during the day was pretty Nice but the guy in the evening shift was not very accommodating.
Very pleasant staff during the day and evening. Rooms were clean. Some ongoing renovations at present but quiet in the evening and night.
Great location and close to the metros. Also great food in the area!
Great
Good
If you want a giant room in a great spot, go pay a ton of money down the street. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and quiet room in that same great spot for a fraction of the price book here! We had a great stay here and the staff was very accommodating. Room was very clean and we had no issues at all with the size.
Great location. Small room but very clean.
Room was very dirty . Small and filthy bathroom.
Terrible
Housekeeping staff with attitude and not customer service oriented. Air conditioning broken on hottest days of summer. The hotel made an effort and provided compensation which was appreciated.
I chose this hotel for location. It is quite central and easy to access the subway, so location is excellent. The hotel premises were just ok, carpet was being cleaned and covered as if in the middle of renovations. My room was small and a bit smelly. Very few amenities and not replenished every day. Overall, the experience for 4 nights was adequate for the cost and location made up for it.
The hotel is located in a great area, walkable to many things. The hotel itself is a bit noisy, the doors close very loudly. We were disturbed most nights by this. The room was a bit dusty and in need of a fresh coat of paint. There was construction near to the hotel so we were without hot water for the first 24 hours of the stay.
We stayed in a Classic Room which is spacious enough for a couple and two small suitcases. Those with larger suitcases may want to opt for the bigger rooms. The location is excellent and you are situated in the heart of Paris. There are plenty of shops and quality restaurants nearby and the Metro/Bus stations are only across the road. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. They maintain your bed and refill the toiletries every morning. The room looked a bit dated and some of the furniture could do with a refresh. It was also very dusty in a few places but overall it is great for a short stay in Paris.
Perfect location. Would use it again
Loved the location. Just steps to adorable and yummy restaurants. Convenient to Metro and walkable to river and tourist destinations. Great staff. Nice breakfast. Room exactly as pictured. Cute balcony overlooking the quiet street.
Good location, nice staff.
Clean close to all facility’s
The staff were wonderful. Very helpful and fun.
