The Chepstow Inn

Kim and the Chepstow in were amazing. She greeted us with a friendly smile and gave us all the information we requested about the area around the Inn and interesting sites to visit. She prepared an amazing breakfast for us and had it ready at the time we asked. All around an amazing B&B and Kim made the experience something I would recommend to anyone!

Amazing all around. Exactly what you hope to have in a B&B: excellent rooms (tastefully updated while maintaining all the original charm of the building), friendly and helpful host, lovely property and common spaces, and a great breakfast to start your day.

We liked the greeting from Kym and her dog, both very friendly. Kym greeted us at the front door and showed us to our room. Room had everything needed, including fridge with a bit of stocked juices, exceptional tv and wide variety of channels, coffee machines with various teas and coffees, well stocked bathroom. Bathroom and bedroom extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Kym is a fabulous host. Knowledgeable about the area The rooms are a fantastic size and impeccably adorned. The rooms are a retreat that leave you feeling indulged. Breakfast is creative and features offerings from local suppliers. Can't wait to return.

Charming old in. Beautiful property and staff. Great breakfast! We had a room at the front on the street but it was super quiet. The town is not busy. The owner is knowledgable about the local history of the area.

Kim was amazing from the moment we booked, being super helpful and accommodating to food allergies. The rooms were a good size, with space to move about the room. The beds were very soft and comfy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would def stay here again.

This was our first Bed& Breakfast and we loved it! Chepstow Inn provides a very homey vibe and the owner is lovely. It is a great spot if you are looking to explore Northern Ontario and within driving distance of Tobermory, Sauble beach, and other touristy locations.

Great property

I loved the cleanliness, the size of the rear yard, the unique decor, socializing with some of the other guests in the formal dining room at breakfast and at the firepit in the evening. I also enjoyed the unique and tasteful decor, and learning a little about the history of the property.

The Inn is very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Inn and spending some time getting to know our friendly host Kym. It was fun to learn the history of the Inn as we have friends that use to frequent the tavern in the 70’s. We will visit again

Unique decor in bottom units, including an incredible washroom. Extremely clean and friendly and helpful hostess. It felt like home.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely old inn. Our room was large, comfy and clean and was located in the "basement" which was nicely finished. We had to share a bathroom and oddly, when we wanted to make a quick visit to it at 5:00 AM, a man was showering in it. What were the odds? :) The breakfast was a tasty quiche with sweetbreads and fresh fruit. The hostess Kym was friendly and enjoys a good chat. Her warmth made our stay all the more special.

Stunning heritage property that has been lovingly restored. Every room has updated amenities and is decorated with luxurious fabrics and decor. Host was very friendly and attentive and clearly is committed to making your stay very comfortable.

Top marks to the hostess Kym. She clearly cares about her property and her guests. This country hotel is filled with the charm and grace of days past, while being completely upgraded and updated to make our stay a joy. The breakfasts also got each day off to a fabulous start. See you again soon!

Old country charm. Loved waking up to birds chirping and bullfrogs croaking. Breakfast was wonderful. Kym is very accommodating.

Mum was fabulous!! Such a beautiful home with upgrades in the making downstairs to offer more rooms for more people to join! Although you aren’t near too much, it is a simple car ride to Lake Huron and other cute towns that surround the area. We went to an incredible little hole in the wall pub and eatery in Walkerton that Kym had recommended and WOW. So good! Kym’s B&B brought me back to my childhood a bit, hanging on the front porch at night, relaxing and listening to the night. It was truly serene and I would definitely go back with a larger group of my family to fully enjoy her backyard fire pit and BBQ area. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect, and breakfast was PHENOMENAL! Easily the best omelette I’ve had in 10 years! Kudos Kym! Keep up the hard work and dedication, it truly shows! We’ll be back to bug ya one day!

Friendly engaging warm fun host of historic inn who transforms stay into finding new friend

The caretaker was a terrific hostess. The Inn was well kept, clean and within distance of many popular destinations. The food was excellent!

I stayed one night, due to work, and it was great! I had all of the amenities I needed to settle down. The only suggestion I would make for other travelers is to take your own toiletries like shampoo and conditioner. There are some things there, but it seemed like an odd combination of other people's leftovers. Nothing bad, really, just a matter of preference. It was SO convenient to have a cooked breakfast ready in the morning (it was delicious too!). Saved me a lot of time from having to stop somewhere else and grab food along the way. I'll definitely go back if I'm out that way for a visit.

Chepstow Inn is extremely warm and welcoming. Had a wonderful stay and the breakfasts were fabulous! Highly recommend.

Very charming and cozy. The innkeeper met us at the door and gave us a tour of the historic building. Rooms were beautiful and unique with very comfortable beds. Hot breakfast every morning, catered to individual tastes. I would definitely go back.

The Chepstow Inn is the perfect get-away; a beautiful "boutique" inn where you will feel welcome the moment you arrive and will be pampered for the duration of your stay. Our room was beautifully appointed with a large, ultra-modern en-suite and stocked with all the little things that make you feel right at home, including a coffee-maker and some snack treats for your late-night munchies. The cheery sitting room on the main floor has a wonderful collection of books for your reading pleasure and the dining room is where you will enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast that will sustain you well past the lunch hour. The proprietress is a gracious host and eager to provide all her guests with a five-star experience (which is exactly what we had)!

A brilliant stay at the The Chepstow Inn - Old building was beautiful, the room was clean , bright and very comfortable. Kym was a great host - we were looked after so well. Will return the next time we are in the area.

The character of this 148 year old B&B is awesome. Kym, the innkeeper, was fabulous...we had an awesome time hanging out on the porch relaxing and conversing. Breakfast was excellent. We don't back track often, but will definitely go back to visit.
