Quiet and great location.
Location, style, great neighborhood feel
Great location…. Beautiful interior…… room was stunning and staff were very friendly and welcoming
If I’m being picky , the pillows were too soft for my liking
The proximity of the hotel to the centre of town and everything we wanted to do in Stirling was great. There was no need to use our car. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. And one could not have asked for a better location with the property overlooking a green while our bedroom windows looked onto the garden. Beautiful sitting area and breakfast room.
As a vegan (Riana) the typical breakfast options on the menu did not truly accommodate my eating regime. The coffee needs to be much better - it was often too weak.
Well situated, charming, comfortable and spacious rooms
No complaints
L emplacement
The food and staff were very helpful

I will always stay at Victoria Square when I'm in Stirling. A refurbished Victorian, it's located in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to town. The wonderful staff make you feel pampered, and the rooms offer private and a feeling of luxury. The inn is elegant but not pretentious, and the meals were some of the best I had in Scotland. I loved my stay here!
Lovely historical Villa. Staff members were friendly, helpful and made for a very happy stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order plus a buffet of fresh fruit, pastries and other cold items.
The shower tray made me nervous with its noisey creeks and moans. Carpets getting abit tired too. No aircon or ceiling fans.
Lovely room, excellent condition and well looked after.
The noise of the mashing machines on the toilets was a bit too much sometinmes.
It was a great walkable location, a little farther away from the crowded part of the city. It was quiet and quaint. Rooms are comfortable but no air conditioning. The windows open. We stayed in early spring, so it might be too hot in the summer months.
Schönes Haus in attraktiver Lage, stilvolle Einrichtung.
Die Orangerie ist origineller Restaurantort, jedoch zugig
We stayed as a party of 4, to celebrate our marriage. We booked the two principal rooms, which could not have been better presented. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly. We had afternoon tea and the Taster Menu for dinner. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared and presented. One of our party had a couple of food intolerances, which were accommodated brilliantly, we couldn’t tell the “free from” food from the other. We are already planning to return.
Beautiful facility and surroundings, awesome restaurant, and friendly staff.
Didn’t love the bed.
Great location in lovely town - not manic like Edinburgh
Lovely location and great Aussie staff!
Beautiful facility in a quiet residential area, and 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Everything at the hotel was perfect, the staff are helpful and responsive (and quite cheerful). If you want a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable hotel you can't do much better then this.

We had a lovely stay at Victoria Square. It was conveniently located to the city center and Stirling Castle. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We chose to also have drinks and dinner there and it was a fun experience.
Great location in a quiet neighborhood overlooking a lovely green space. Comfortable living room to relax in with a pot of tea. Helpful staff. Breakfasts and dinner were excellent.
My room was quite small.
Historic building in a very lovely, quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff and comfy bed! The dining experience was spectacular—evening meal could not have been better. Be sure to dine in during your stay!
Nice guesthouse. Great location, lovely room. Service ok. Dinner in the restaurant sub-par but breakfast excellent.
Superb-sets the gold standard. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the bed was the most comfortable ever. The staff were courteous and the location, near to Kings Park was just right. Five stars does not do it justice.
Great location, walkable to all sites! Host was great, room was one of the largest we stayed in in Scotland and breakfast was great! Highly recommend staying here!
Charming hotel in a great location with helpful staff. Minor quibble… we were not able to enjoy the full breakfast we paid for as service doesn’t begin until 7:45 which was too late as we had an 8 am airport pickup.
Beautiful old home within easy walking distance to downtown. Great staff!
Absolutely no complaints!
Beautiful old house, great location, easy walk to town. Free parking was a plus. Superb food. Beautiful park across the street. Very peaceful. Very nice staff.
Our room was in the basement. Though nicely appointed it offered no privacy with the window shades open. People on the street could look right in on us. It also had a very strong musty damp smell. There was a nice big tub that I wanted to use but the drain was clogged.
Very comfortable, well run hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a very nice part of town and not far from the centre. Dinner was of a high standard.
Entire stay wa absolutely lovely. Fabulous breakfast, too.
Everything was excellent. Friendly welcome, great dining and very comfortable.

La situation, la chambre, le petit déjeuner,
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in a front bedroom of this Victorian house. Located in a very nice neighbourhood of Stirling, it was also within easy walking of the centre of town for restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with various hot items that could be ordered. The bedroom was spacious with a great view of the park across the street. Comfortable and cozy!
Stirling is a lovely town and our stay at Victoria Square was great! Staff were friendly, room was cozy and breakfast was delicious. Parking behind the house is small and tricky so we would highly recommend street parking. Fee station was easy to use and price was reasonable.
Victoria Square is an excellent option when staying in Stirling. True first-class boutique lodging experience. Victorian house restored, my room overlooked the back garden. The breakfast is delicious with five different hot dishes to chose from in addition to the usual continental offerings. I also did grand high tea and a dinner, both exquisite. I was in Stirling for a full week as part of a singing workshop and thank goodness I was at Victoria Square. The staff is happy and helpful, the place is spotless.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Orangery. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in every way. The house was lovely and in a very nice area. Glad to see it still has the original features. Breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. We would most definitely recommend a visit.
Position staff cleanliness food.

Everything! Room was lovelyc clean and well appointed. Great quality food, dinner and breakfast. An easy walk into town and close to the castle.
That there aren’t more like it.
Victoria Square was just perfect for our girls trip to Stirling. Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Our dinner and breakfast the next morning, fantastic. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Chaz who was so so sweet. We came back hours after checking out to find a flat tire on our rental car. She invited us into the parlor and brought us a pot of hot tea and cookies. We loved our stay here!
lovely property, nice location. very welcoming atmosphere great food in the restaurant

The room was clean and comfortable. The meals were very well prepared. The new manager is very friendly and has good ideas for the hotel.
The greeting by a lady was amateurish.
Our room was beautiful and very spacious. The best one of the several places we stayed on our trip.
The shower was awkward to use. The informational email that was sent before our arrival was worded in a way that was a bit off-putting. Not very friendly. This needs to be re-written. The actual staff we encountered upon arrival were perfectly friendly. I’m
We stayed for 2 days in one of the hotel’s private rooms and had a truly wonderful experience. We had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. The location of the hotel is fantastic—quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. The staff were also very kind and friendly. Throughout our stay, we felt completely at home. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to guest comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone with full confidence. If I visit Stirling again, I would love to stay at this lovely hotel and see these kind people once more.
Beautifully presented and thoughtfully delivered afternoon tea in a comfortable, welcoming setting. The staff were friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely throughout. A really enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend!
I was a really late arrival at Victoria Square and i was met and shown to my room by the pleasant staff. Then after a relaxing nights sleep, i had a warm welcome to breakfast and served with a freshly baked croissant. Then attended business calls in the relaxing, comfortable lounge.
The rooms were clean and well cared for,the breakfast was really excellent but it was the two ladies on the staff who made this a memorable stay.
This is such a beautiful building. The room was big ,well decorated and very comfortable. The location is perfect, very close to town, but still in a quiet area. The staff was very friendly, especially Shannon (think that was her name), who was the one there when we checked in . she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome😊 Unfortunately we did not get to try the restaurant because it wasn't open the days we were there, but hopefully next time 😊We would very much recommend the place and we hope to be back in the future.
Victoria Square is a fabulous place to stay. We had room four that overlooked the Square, it was beautifully decorated and luxurious. The welcome and service was first class plus our breakfast was excellent. Stirling city centre is only ten minutes walking.
This was a lovely find for my husband and I. It’s a little gem. Right from the friendly welcome, we were made to feel at home in this lovely house. The staff were so welcoming and efficient, I felt that they really cared about our enjoyment! The food was exceptional. No big menu, a small selection that was made fresh and excellent. Breakfast was up there with the same standard as dinner. Our room was excellent, with a four poster bed and all the little luxuries that I really hadn’t anticipated. Will definitely return.
Recent One Night Stay on Saturday 28 th of March Lovely hotel in quiet neighbourhood but easy walk into historic centre of town Hotel Staff are so attentive especially the evening staff on reception and in bar area Thankyou for great stay Will definitely stay again
Lovely small hotel. Room very clean and had everything you required. Near town centre. Breakfast cooked to order. Ate dinner one night and it was very good. Would recommend
Wonderful experience. We absolutely fell in love with Stirling and would love to be able to visit again. Our room was nice and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of our favorite stops on our two week trip around Scotland. Our one regret is we were only able to spend one night.
The breakfast amazing and in a lovely little room X
Liked it all X
Excellent location.
Would prefer to decide on breakfast order in the morning instead of by 7-00pm the night before
Central location, parking available, helpful staff, nice room, good breakfast.
All good.
Hospitable staff, comfortable room and delicious breakfast.
This is our go to hotel for a special night away.. ambiance. . Uniqueness.. individuality each room has it's own.. And the food.. wow.. just wow that's all that can be said. The chef and his team always excel themselves from a stunning dinner to a hearty breakfast.. To be honest we just love this place
I booked a two night stay with my mum to celebrate my birthday. We were able to book a twin room, which are increasingly hard to find these days. The room was lovely with views over the gardens. Robes were provided, which was a nice touch and a mini fridge was a bonus to store a small bottle of milk. Very comfy beds. Breakfast was very generous and the food was great. We also had afternoon tea one day and an evening meal in the restaurant during our stay, both of which were amazing. It was one of the best afternoon teas I've had. We couldn't eat all the cake so the waitress wrapped it up to take to our room and stash in the fridge for later. The staff were really lovely, really friendly and helpful. It is a heritage building which is beautifully decorated and retains a lot of period features. The lounge is particularly nicely done with comfy chairs and a selection of books. It is a good place to chill before dinner. There is no bar but you can order drinks served to the lounge. There is no lift and the entrance is via a flight of stairs then more stairs up to our room but staff did make us aware of this when I booked.
The toilet was very noisy when refilling the cistern, which was annoying during the night
A short walk into town and the railway station.
The place was more a B&B than a hotel and could just about be considered 4 star, more 3 star. It was pleasant enough, and good value for a 3 star but I'm just annoyed that I was fooled by the photos and rating.
Great food, friendly and attentive staff
Some plumbing noise at night
Amazing staff, good location and comfy bed.
The room felt a little tired in places. The 10.30am checkout, especially during the quieter time of year, felt surprisingly early for a hotel positioning itself at the higher end. It felt a bit mean and slightly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Lovely Victorian building with original features. Large spacious room. Great breakfast.
We reported a leak coming from the ceiling. There were cobwebs , high and low and dust around furniture and under bed.
Welcoming. Very comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was very good. Best ever cheesecake.
Nothing
Lovely quiet location near the centre of town. Friendly cheerful staff in a warm cosy atmosphere with lovely log fires in traditional rooms. Delicious dinner served in the conservatory was surprisingly busy even on a Wednesday in February with drinks before and after in the cosy lounge. Large comfortable bedroom and a good breakfast too.
The Rooms are great, there are some really nice touches with sherry, biscuits, robes and small chocolates left for you. The the beds are comfy, its warm and tastefully decorated. There is a mini bar that is well stocked. The restaurant is fantastic. Margo is exceptional. She truely goes above and beyond , her hospitality and kindness is real 5 star. Close to the town Centre , Albert halls and Stirling Castle its in a great spot, quiet but very well situated. Highly recommended

A beautiful hotel with first class food and service. Special mention to Margo who looked after us at check in, afternoon tea and dinner. Really hard working lady :-)
We were attending an event close by and had no prior knowledge of the hotel. When we arrived we were welcomed and checked in ahead of schedule. The room exceeded our expectations, lovely bed and bedding, good size, very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
This is a lovely homely hotel with cozy warm rooms and lovely friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and the wee touches in the room make it too. Location is perfect as not far from the town and was easy to find. Very clean hotel. The hotel sits in a really quiet location beside Kings Park. Would certainly stay again
Beautiful home with extremely friendly and helpful staff, unable to sample the breakfast menu as I had to leave at 0800 and it does not start until 815. Close to city centre, only 7 minute walk. Clean, comfortable and good value for money - will return.
The customer service was the best I’ve had in a long time. Great vegan breakfast too.
Excellent service from friendly staff in this elegant Victorian villa in a peaceful location within easy walking distance from the centre of Stirling. Generously-proportioned room with a very comfortable bed, looking out over some of the gardens of Stirling. It all made for a wonderful stay.
-
Excellent in every aspect. Well appointed comfortable room. Super friendly staff and superb breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
A welcoming boutique hotel that more than lived up to our expectations. Beautifully decorated room with good amenities (though lacking shampoo!) and nice outlook. Great location in heart of old Stirling within easy walk of castle, cafes etc. The Orangery restaurant was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our Chef’s Explorer Menu with wine flight. Highly recommend.
