Mooie locatie

Wir hatten einen insgesamt sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Anlage ist groß, gepflegt und sehr sauber. Besonders die Pools waren toll und das Meer direkt am Strand war wunderschön. Auch die Zimmer wurden täglich gründlich gereinigt, sodass man sich wirklich wohlfühlen konnte. Das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, nur an der Rezeption hatte man manchmal das Gefühl, dass man etwas von oben herab behandelt wird das war etwas schade. Das Essen war grundsätzlich gut, allerdings fehlte uns etwas die Abwechslung. Die Auswahl war fast jeden Tag gleich, da könnte man auf jeden Fall noch etwas variieren. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war außerdem, dass uns am letzten Tag auf dem Balkon eine Kakerlake aus dem Abfluss „besucht“ hat. Zudem hört man in den Zimmern recht deutlich, wenn die Nachbarn ihre Türen schließen das war teilweise sehr laut. Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel können wir das Hotel aber auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Es ist wirklich ein schönes, sauberes und gut gepflegtes Haus, in dem man einen erholsamen Urlaub verbringen kann.

This is certainly not a 5 star hotel. 2/3 of the lifts were out of order on my last day. The queues for the buffet were horrendous and the food was always cold. Only for the Al la carte restaurants, you would want to leave the hotel.

Nous avons été surclassé dans une chambre située dans la partie Adult Only de l’hôtel « Ella » et nous n’avons pas regretté. Cette partie de l’hôtel est extrêmement calme avec des restaurants et services de haute qualité. L’hôtel n’était pas si vide que ça à en voir le nombre de personnes au petit déjeuner, mais il le semblait pourtant tout le reste de la journée pour notre plus grand plaisir. Le personnel est au petit soin pour votre rendre votre séjour parfait et ce peu importe les services. La formule tout inclus vous donne accès à des restaurant « à la carte » là aussi de très bonne qualité. La chambre était spacieuse et très propre avec une magnifique vue sur la piscine et la mer. Nous n’hésiterions pas à revenir dans cet hôtel si nous sommes de nouveau de passage à Rhodes.

Great hotel and facilities. Highly recommend it. We had a great stay. The service at all the bars could be a bit faster. It was lacking manpower during rush hour. People reserving the best transats early before breakfast and not coming before 10-11 is annoying and unrespectful but not specific to this hotel unfortunately.

Room size was great & balcony was a nice touch. Bathroom was a little on the smaller side. Breakfast and lunch options were good- we mainly ate out in old town in the evening as the buffet wasn't our scene. Buffet & pool did get particularly busy, seemed to be a lot of children.

Sehr schöne Anlage, für Kinder ein bisschen was geboten aber geht so... Pools leider eiskalt aber wunderschöner swim up pool. Hatten erst ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Restaurant wo es so gestunken hat, haben nach Beschwerde aber sofort ein neues bekommen. Personal super nett, Zimmer war toll. Alles im allem kann man machen, war ein super schöner Urlaub.

Lovely staff who offered great service. It was a well-kept resort and beach, with a fantastic selection of food and drinks. They had a great range of entertainment (something for everyone), and the bar areas were well ran and services. The spa area was really relaxing, with great amenities - we had great massages there! The a la carte restaurants were brilliant, and we also enjoyed our a la carte breakfast upgrade (it was a very peaceful way to start the day). We would definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel and facilities but poor service - long queues, no pool service, room cleaning was late in the day (was often between 4-5pm), the corridors to the rooms were dark and damp smelling - lacked 5 star service imo. Very family friendly which it is advertised as and so many amazing facilities for children but definitely very busy due to the size of the hotel - would’ve preferred adult only in this instance

Schöne Anlage, schöne Zimmer, Balkon im Garten 2.OG mit Holzbalken keine Privatsphäre. Personal nett. Essen absolut keine Abwechslung jeden Tag das gleiche. Strand sehr schön, jedoch sind um 9:00 Uhr schon alle Plätze reserviert. Das gleiche gilt für den Poolbereich. Im Ganzen kann man sagen: mehr schein als sein.

The hotel was very modern, aesthetically pleasing and spacious. Check in was nice and easy and the swim up pool room was great - just note if you don’t plan to go for the sea view option, your pool might be in the shade for most the day! There were a LOT of small children and families, however there was the option to stay in the adult only hotel in the complex (but of course, more expensive!) It’s a shame there wasn’t a section in the main hotel for adults during the day time - the pool nearest to the beach would be perfect for this as there were beds in the pool etc, but instead was full of babies and young children. We chose to sit on the beach throughout our visit as the main pool was VERY crowded. However getting sunbeds was no issue whatsoever. The buffet was brilliant both at morning and dinner and the staff were great, especially Jane! We booked the Italian and Latin America restaurant towards the end of the holiday to leave it on a high - these both were a massive disappointment and I would refuse to pay for the meals if I had been half board! Lovely hotel but the reception staff were not friendly AT ALL. It’s the first impression & they were not one bit nice. All the other staff were lovely, which made up for it. Food was ok got repetitive.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I was very satisfied with everything. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from each day. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did a great job, cleaning daily and keeping the minibar well-stocked. The beach and pools were absolutely fantastic – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. I want to give a special thanks to Joanna from the Philippines, who served us many times at the restaurant. She was truly the kindest and most attentive person I've ever met. Her warm and friendly attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Joanna! Highly recommended – I would definitely come back.

This our 2nd visit to Helea and it was great, as a family with young kids looking for a one-stop-shop this resort checks all the boxes - full board, beach, pools, water park, kids club, cinema, nightly family activities and shows and more. The resort functioned impeccably (except for some minor hiccups with the the main restaurant during rush hour and with the room cleaners), the kids had tons of fun and their parents too!

Bed was memory foam which I do not get on with. So uncomfortable sleep. Staff were friendly and amazing. Too many children in the second week of our holiday. But the hotel was lovely just a bit too big for us. Great options of food and the restaurants good and service weee amazing.

We had a lovely time at the Helea hotel. The staff were always polite and happy to help. A great selection of food choices, something there for everyone. The hotel was very clean. Would definitely be returning.

Séjour décevant dans l’ensemble. Pas d’ animation hormis le soir pour les enfants, ce qui rend l’ambiance assez monotone. Le ménage dans les chambres semble fait rapidement, sans soin particulier. Le buffet manque de variété, avec quasiment toujours les mêmes plats. Enfin, la présence de nombreux enfants très bruyants rend le repos difficile.

We’d definitely recommend it for families. The hotel was really clean, Everyone was so friendly and great with our little boy. There were loads of food options, and we loved being able to grab snacks all day from the beach bar and street food hub. The pools were great, and the whole place had a really nice vibe and aesthetic. The only small issue was needing to be up early for sunbeds, but that’s to be expected during the summer holidays. Overall, a brilliant stay and we’d happily go back

It’s ok but nothing special

The property itself is lovely, very clean, bright and well maintained. The negatives are the A la carte restaurants and the sunbed shenanigans. The a la cartes are very difficult (if not impossible for some of them) to get into and once you do the food and service was disappointing. The sun beds are ridiculous! Most have towels by 6.30 in the morning and although signs are around saying no holding beds this is in no way inforced.

Great hotel, don’t really need to leave the resort only to see old town Rhodes. 100% recommend a swim up pool at the room, main pool is chaotic people reserving chairs from 8am and not issuing them u til noon or after if even at all. But staff and everything else was brilliant. Thank you!

The customer service in this place is in need of some serious improvement. At best this place is a good 4 star. Who on earth rated this 5 stars needs to try again.

Huonoa: Kolmen hengen huoneet oli pieniä. Kolmas joutui nukkumaan sohvalla. Kaikki juomat piti jonottaa. Itsepalveluhanat esim. Oluelle olisi olleet kätevämmät. Liian vähän aurinkotuoleja/ allaspaikkoja noin isolle hotellille. Hyvää: Vettä sai hakea niin paljon kuin halusi. Siisti hotelli. Ranta lähellä ja sielläkin oli baaritiski.

Glass shards were on my patio. Asked them to get cleaned and still there after the day I left . Couldn’t use with child . Buffet wait was 30 minutes. Why not staff properly. Need to work on housekeeping and staffing. But a 5 star quality.

Ranta oli kuitenkin usein myös roskainen ja lasinsiruja oli paljon. Ravintolatarjonnasta plussaa, samoin buffetin ruoka pääosin hyvää. Juomat allasbaareissa valmiita juomasekoituksia, mutta aulabaarissa Vasili sekoitti erinomaisia drinkkejä. Palvelutaso erittäin paljon hyvin tylystä ystävälliseen, harmillisesti se tyly jää päällimmäisenä mieleen. Ravintoiden tarjoilijat ja palvelu erinomaista, vastaanotossa tylyä. Swim up huone puutarhanäkymällä ei ollut rahanarvoinen; läheisen tien äänet häiritsivät eikä altaan viihtyvyyteen oltu kiinnitetty huomiota. Viiden tähden resorttiin hotellilla vielä matkaa.

June 2025 We have just got back from a week at this hotel, 2 adults 2 children. Although aesthetically this hotel is beautiful, the reality of it is far from that. - Restaurants The main buffet restaurant is chaotic, it is so busy and very under staffed. Takes forever to be served, variety is lacking especially for children. There were no areas where food is prepared in front of you like other all inclusive resorts. One day we sat down with our cereal for breakfast and asked for some spoons to which a staff member replied ‘we haven’t got any’ and walked off. Most times there were huge queues to be seated at the restaurant, some days the queue was so long it left the restaurant, filled the corridor and carried on up the stairs. There are other bookable restaurants but these get booked up very fast and in my experience it felt as though what you were getting was the same options that were at the buffet just plated a bit nicer! - Bars There are limited availability to get drinks, especially if you are at the children’s slide area or at a swim up room and when you do go to the bar there is always a huge queue. - Rooms We had a junior family suite (swim up room). The room was very small with very limited storage options. There is also no iron in the room and no facilities in the hotel to be able to iron your own clothes. You have to pay them €6 per t-shirt to use their ironing service. - Main Pool There is a rule at the main pool that parents have to be in the water with th

We enjoyed our stay at Helea, although I would not consider it a 5-star. The rooms and lobby are quite nice (newly renovated), the grounds are well kept, but the food is no where near 5 stars. The main buffet is very average - we preferred breakfast out of all the 3 meals offered there. The dinner buffer was not great at all, in fact we went into town a few nights to eat authentic Greek food (highly recommend). The restaurants on site are also average - we went to 2, and enjoyed 1 of the 2. The grill by the pool is well below average - they don't even make a good quality burger. The only pool food we enjoyed was the gyros. We talked to other couples who had the exact same opinions. The least they should offer is good quality poolside food. T The service is good, but again not 5 star service. You have to wait a while for drinks in the lobby in the evening (only one main bar), no servers coming around offering drinks to you by the pool, limited high end alcohol, no cushioned pool loungers (typical features a 5-star would offer as we have been to an amazing 5 star all inclusive). If you are a family with children, and aren't looking for a very upscale experience, this resort is great. There are kids everywhere, a small waterpark, and the pool is huge. If you looking for a romantic quiet couple getaway, I would try the adults only resort next to Helea instead. Personally, we would not stay here again, although it depends what you're looking for and expectations you have.

Kerrassaan upea resortti, jossa palvelu pelasi ja kaikki toimi. Hotelli oli kauniisti sisustettu, huoneet tilavia ja ruoka hyvää. Ajoittain oli ruuhkaa buffaravintolassa, mutta ei liiallisesti. Juniorsviitti sivurakennuksessa oli oikein sopiva meidän perheelle sekä sijainnin ja kulun puolesta erinomainen. Ainoa miinus oli, että rannalla tuoleja oli suhteellisen vähän ja ne varattiin hyvin aikaisin, mutta niissä ei näkynyt ketään tunteihin.

Unterkunft ist schön und sauber gehalten. Essen war mittelmässig beim buffet könnte schon besser sein. Personal wirkte manchmal ein wenig abgelenkt aber freundlich. Was mich total schockiert hat das wir haufenweise Ameisen im Zimmer am Tag vor Check out und am Abrreise Tag hatten.

We had a lovely holiday the food was excellent and the hotels in a fabulous location only 10 minute taxi ride the old town . However The staff are very slow at servicing drinks and the hotel is really a family hotel and if young couples are considering this i would advise the sister hotel next door. Overall very nice hotel and well decorated and really good facilities.

Zeer mooi resort, echt van deze tijd. Fijne rustige sfeer met vriendelijk personeel. Bij aankomst met de auto vraagt de portier of je er verblijft etc, erg veilig!

Modern gestaltet aber schlecht gepflegt. Personal freundlich aber unorganisiert. Am dritten Tag habe ich mir den Magen am Buffet verdorben.

Wir waren als Familie unterwegs und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Besonders die sehr freundlichen Angestellten runden den Urlaub super ab. Essen im Hauptrestaurant war lecker, aber besonders gut war es in den drei Restaurants im Hotel. Unbedingt reservieren! Das Beste war für uns der super Kids Club mit toller Betreuung. Jeden Tag abwechslungsreiches Programm und motivierte Mitarbeiter. Toll!

Snyggt, modernt, stort hotell. Stort plus till vattenlandet. Minus att man inte kunde boka in sig på restaurangerna som fanns på hotellet utan bara kunde äta på buffén. Alla restauranger var fullbokade. Kallt i poolerna den här tiden på året (april). Annars trivdes vi bra.

Bungalow sea villa da kaldık. Yiyeceklerde ilgimizi çeken cheeseburger buz gibi geliyordu. Sanırım soğuk yiyorlar. Restoranlar ve kokteyl alkoller ortalama hatta bi tık altında. Denizi mükemmel. Temizlik iyi. Oda servisi aşırı yetersiz, bungalow villalar için geliştirilmeli.

Lovely hotel, swim up pool, spa, right on the beach & staff. Only negative was the pool was very cold (it was April though!) & it’s a bit tricky with food allergies as the buffet doesn’t list allergies, you have to get a chef to walk you round

Das Hotel war wirklich super! Wir (mein Mann (31) und ich (26)) waren für 11 Tage dort und sind maßlos begeistert. Das Essen, die Animation (für Kinder als auch Erwachsene), die Hygiene, die moderne Einrichtung und vor Allem der großartige Service (an dieser Stelle ein besonderes Dankeschön an Kostas!), wünsche werden hier einem fast von den Augen abgelesen, alle waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wieder buchen!

Das Hotel ist schön leider sieht man in jeder Ecke Schäden und Unsauberkeiten. In Restaurants bekommt man immer das gleiche buffetmenü man vermisst das typisch griechische Spezialitäten. In Italienische Restaurant bekommt man Industrie Pizza vorgebacken. Zum frühstück buffet fehlt einiges. Personal war sehr net und hilfsbereit.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The room was comfortable and clean, with decent amenities. However, I felt that some aspects fell short of what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with a lot to offer, but it doesn't quite meet the luxury standards of a true 5-star experience. I would recommend it for a comfortable stay, but with the understanding that it may not fullfill you high end expectations.

Im ganzen und großen ein gutes Hotel, welches für griechische Verhältnisse in Ordnung ist denke ich Mal. Die Zimmern sind modern eingerichtet. Die Anlage befindet sich in einem guten Zustand. Gäste: Überwiegend Familien mit Kindern. Das Essen ist aber einfallslos, und im Essbereich ist die Lüftung schlecht, so dass die Klamotten stinken. Gutes und aufmerksames Personal.

Overall The resort was wonderful. Great facilities, nice beach and close to the old and new town. Didn’t realise that our section was full of young kids. In hindsight we should’ve booked the property next door - adults only. The staff were all sensational and extremely accommodating at all times.

Dårlig rengøring. Kvaliteten af maden i buffeen er ringe. Personalet arbejder ikke sammen og ved intet om andet end deres eget område. Faciliteterne er ikke særlig børnevenlige. Snacks må ikke tages med til poolområdet med skal spises ved food stationerne. Vandrutchebanerne ligger på den anden side af vejen. Isoleret uden liggestole og adgang til food stationerne.

Sehr schönes, kinderfreundliches Hotel, mit freundlichem Personal, gutem Essen und alles in allem ein toller Gesamteindruck und Aufenthalt. Es gab lediglich ein paar Kleinigkeiten die uns gestört haben, aber wir würden es trotzdem auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

Very modern property good for young families and young couples. Signage to different restaurants toilets etc was not always easy to find. Could do with more easy access bars of staying in a swim up pool as quite a walk.

Highly recommended!

Lovely resort, however definitely felt awkward as I am a Muslim and did get unnecessary looks and reactions from people, sometimes staff members. Did not feel inclusive.

It’s definitely a great place and I had a great time but for the price you’re paying and for the 5 stars it has there are quite a few things that come to mind that aren’t that great. Having no real options for 3 people to house in a room was annoying since the third person has to sleep on a sleep sofa type thing. Light switches weren’t working properly and some lights were making weird noises. If you’re a 3 people group you only got drinks for two people and same with the bathrobe and slippers. We had to go and ask for a third pair of each ourselves. Staff was incredibly nice and always tried their best which was great. It’s just issues with the things there and no issues with staff whatsoever.

Beautiful resort facilities with food and drinks below 3 star standard- very disappointing! We had mold in our room at the air condition what was really disgusting and also unhealthy. But we had to stay there 2 days until we got a new room. The outside areas are nicely done and offers the opportunity to spend time across the entire resort. The standard of food and drinks is miserable - Definitely not 5 star. The food in the main restaurant is lacking any sense of nice presentation, only serves the mass and does not invite to stay longer and enjoy meals. It serves the purpose of being fed. The atmosphere is cold and noisy which equals a 3 star club hotel.

The hotel itself was lovely, beautiful room. More family orientated than anticipated and as a couple travelling we would have appreciated an adults only area. There was a smaller pool but we tried to use this twice and both times, before 8am, all beds had been reserved by towels which was really disappointing as the hotel has a no reservation policy but this was obviously not enforced. Air con only went to 22 and would have liked it just slightly cooler bearing in mind the high outside temp. Despite being all inclusive, and having a swim up room, the mini bar only had soft drinks so rather than walking to the bar we would pay at the mini market instead. The al a carte restaurants were fantastic, especially the Sushi one. Breakfast service was sometimes slow so that our coffees didn't arrive until after we'd eaten.

When arrived, the gentleman that checked us in was amazing. After that every other staff was very average. When asked to the barista how was your day? Boring was he’s response. The lifeguard at the kids aqua park had no interest in keeping kids safe. Example my son was stuck in the tube screaming, he couldn’t hear it but my husband that was walking towards the aqua park could. Obviously I was running around trying to work out which tube he was in. When I approached him about the matter, he had a chip on he’s shoulder. Food is so average and not enough traditional options. It’s over crowded and not enough staff. I wouldn’t rate this as a 5 star experience at all.

Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas du tout au rdv. Restaurant principal vraiment pas bon, très très basic pour le prix ! Très mauvaise insonorisation de l’hôtel, avec baies vitrées mal isolées, des claquement de porte permanent dans les chambres. Piscines impraticables au mois d’août. À fuir pour des couples sans enfants.

The exterior of the hotel and pool area is stunning and we had pur own private beach front. So you didnt have to worry when heading into the sea. The staff were great and extremely helpful, however I felt that they could hire more waiting staff to speed up the process of getting drinks etc. What stopped me from giving 5 stars, was that the lift in the main building kept on breaking so we'd have to take the stairs alot . The Aircon in the bedroom, was pretty weak and we could only bring it to 22degress. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

The hotel was better 2023. The hotel advertise that they have the a la carte restaurants. We stayed for four days and was allowed to have ONE meal at the a la carte. IF we wanted to make reservations for more, only lunch was available and we had to pay full price for the food. Even though the restaurants were empty at lunch time. We stayed at the hotel last year as well and this was new for us. Last year we had all our lunches at the a la carte, without making any reservations, and we had 3 dinners (stayed for 4 nights) at the a la carte. This was the reason we booked the hotel this year. Also this year, all dishes was not included in the AI even though they had the same price level as other dishes. The breakfast buffe is good, but the dinner buffe is 3*, not 5*. All in all, the service is made to make it easy for the hotel and not with the guest as the number one priority.

Very unsatisfied with dining options and reservations. I was able to book only 2 dinners out of 8 night stay. All other days was buffet dining and food was blend at best. Cleaning service was awful only did beds and took garbage out. Did not clean floors or anything else. One day they left garbage by coffee station and didn’t clean.
