The location and while the rooms were compact they were comfortable and had everything you needed! We loved the bar area and the comfortable seating and dim lighting in the reception area. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating!

The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean! The staff was very kind. We arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time and they let us in because the room was fortunately already ready. A nice, convenient stay in Madrid!

While there is a WC room, there is no proper bathroom; the shower was directly in the bedroom, with only a glass door (partially opaque) separating it from the bed area. I was traveling with a male friend and privacy was limited. It was not a critical issue for us specifically but it could be in some situations.

Very well located, easy to move around to main city sites. The place is stylish, bed is very comfortable and clean. Also the staff was friendly.

Nothing to mention. Only point is that there is no elevator. So if you have lots of bags as we had, it might be a bit hard to go upstairs. But it is only 2 flight of stairs…so no big trouble

One of the few times the photos of a hotel/stay actually looks exactly like photos! We were incredibly impressed by the cleanliness, staff, and the AC worked wonderfully with the Madrid summer heat. Will definitely be booking here again!

The location, the setup, the friendly, helpful staff and the quiet and green view from the room. There was also an small station for drinks and snacks in the lounge.

Cute rooms, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. The reception is super interesting. They have a nice little coffee, water station, which guest are welcome too. Good location, very central. This use to be an old hostal which was converted, to reception/lobby with a few rooms off the reception.

The stairs to the reception ha ha ha! Did not expect that.

I really enjoyed staying at this place. The location is excellent, and everything was comfortable and cozy. It is a unique property with great facilities, offering many useful amenities within the room. The staff were very friendly and flexible, and I especially appreciated being able to check in very early.

Although there is one flight of stairs and no lift, it did not affect my experience at all. The staff were INCREDIBLY kind, one of them even carried my large suitcase to the main entrance herself. She was absolutely amazing!

Wunderbares kleines Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Die Lage ist exzellent, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich gewesen. In der gleichen Straße gibt es ein Café, in dem man gut frühstücken kann, um gestärkt in den Tag zu starten. Prado und Thyssen Museum sind beide fussläufig (Max 10 min). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

la caja fuerte no es como la de los hotels y no hay instrucciones, tuvieron que venir a resetearla. la heladera de la habitacion es demasiado chica y no enfria. No se puede usar par enfriar agua o vino o mantener comida. No hay hielo en las instalaciones...

Super stijlvol (boetiek)hotel, met heerlijke ruime en lichte kamers. Voorzien van alle gemakken. Perfecte locatie om de stad te verkennen en veel leuke eet- en drinkgelegenheden in de buurt. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam team, kortom perfect!

El sistema me pareció súper innovador, cuando llegué tenía todas las instrucciones y mi habitación estaba lista. La decoración muy linda y los colores, me encantó volvería mil veces. El personal súper amable y me ayudaron con el servicio de custodia de maleta. Lo recomiendo mucho.

The decor when you enter the room, the tiles makes it feels like walking into a bathroom 🤭 Not necessarily bad, just different. The place is really clean

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait et permet de rejoindre le centre à pieds en quelques minutes ! Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et le café/eau ainsi que les gâteaux/fruits laissés en libre service pour le petit déjeuner ou tout au long de la journée sont très appréciables.

Pulizia e gentilezza del personale. Bello ed accogliente lo spazio reception, aria condizionata non fastidiosa ma ben distribuita. Doccia grande e comoda.

Considerando che le camere non sono troppo grandi, avere la doccia aperta nella camera limita un po’ spazi e privacy (eravamo genitori e figlio adolescente). Per una coppia invece va benissimo!

The staff is excellent, very thoughtful and kind. Leuchia was very helpful and kind through your the entire stay. She will be missed. It’s a perfect location to get a feel for Madrid, the culture and what it offers. It’s always clean and easy to come and go. I also felt very safe.

Position , organisation

The unit was terrific. It had the charm, the comfort, the sophistication, and the necessary amenities to bring us peace about our stay. The lobby provided coffee/tea and also always had a basket of apples available to the guests. Because there are only 8 or so rooms that can be reserved, this location is more of an intimate and exclusive reservation. The balcony was so wonderful, it felt like those balcony's from the movies. It offered a view to a chirpy and cheerful neighborhood. It is also important to note that the neighborhood was a peaceful and safe one. We weren't coming home until the early hours of the day, yet there was never any fear about whether the location we were in was safe or not. Overall, our reservation at Armesto Rooms made our trip that much more memorable.

The booking process itself was slightly difficult and a little bit sketchy. Had I not committed to this stay, I would have said it was a scam. However, the stay truly was wonderful, and I am so happy I did not give up on the booking process. Another thing to note is that there is not alot of counter space. There is not enough counter space in the sink area nor in the shower area. There is also no full body mirror to make sure my outfits were stellar.
