Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The location is excellent in the centre of this pretty little town. Rooms and ensuite very nice, modern and very comfortable bed. There is AC in the rooms but the windows open nicely for fresh air too. We only stayed 1 night passing through but would stay again. The staff we met were friendly and lovely and the breakfast was very good. Free Parking is on the street, parking spaces facing the little park /pond area opposite. There are plenty of spaces all around so you may not get right outside but a very short walk to the entrance.
I had emailed the hotel twice to let them know our arrival time, but had no reply, so I rang a few days before. The lady said that the restaurant is closed, only when I asked this, it wasn't noted on booking. com that the restaurant is currently closed due to refurbishment for at least a month. There are a couple of places in the town to eat and a decent pizzeria. It is possible to walk 20 mins to the marina, Dintel, area where there is a fish restaurant/ brasserie on the water, unfortunately they stop cooking at 8pm, but their website says closes at 10pm! Hence we can recommend the pizzeria 🙂 I didn't receive any information before arrival of how to get the key or get in, so I had to ring again from outside the hotel. The gentleman guided me to the key box and the code and where to go, so didn't see any staff at arrival. This was ok but wasn't a great impression, even though everything was absolutely fine. NB: I think that these points were due to the restaurant, which looked very nice, being closed at the moment and also the nice lady at breakfast mentioned that there are New Owners, so this was probably just oversight. The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It didn't put us off at all.

Ik kreeg dinsdag tevoren tel. te horen dat restaurant op zondag gesloten was. Op de dag zelf via app vernam ik dat ik sleutel in kluisje kon vinden. Het hotel zou dinsdag permanent sluiten. Zo schandelijk dat dit niet direct gecommuniceerd werd!! En dan ook de hoogste prijs nog vragen. Poetshulp trof ik vlgd ochtend, zij was zeer behulpzaam.

The breakfast, which was lying out, was covered with flies! There were also fruit flies swarming around the fruit. No staff around to assist. No kettle in the room, which is unusual. I was woken up by a nearby washing machine vibrating my room.

Geen koffie en/of thee op de kamer. Het ontbijt is op zondag pas vanaf 10.00. Voor die tijd was het ook niet mogelijk om iets te krijgen. Wij gingen wandelen op zondag en wilden vroeg vertrekken, maar dat kon dus niet met ontbijt

Obwohl bei der Buchung bereits eine Rechnung für die Firma angefordert wurde auch nach Tagen nach Zahlung keine ausgestellt. Selbst auf 3 Mails wurde nicht geantwortet und beim Telefonat wird immer das gleiche erzählt.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Wat een vriendelijke ontvangst! En dat was eigenlijk het hele weekend. Vriendelijke bediening! Ideale lokatie om er met de fiets op uit te trekken. De kamer heeft airco. Wij hadden een inloopdouche, bad en in aparte ruimte het toilet. De kamer is ruim van opzet. Kamer op 1e verdieping aan de voorkant. Het terras is heerlijk en we hebben daar zeker gebruik van gemaakt. Fietsen konden opgebordem worden. Auto gratis parkeren.
Als we echt iets moeten verzinnen, vloerbedekking is minder fijn met allergie maar het was netjes en schoon.

The room didn’t live up to the title of Deluxe. Was a bit disappointed due to the price of the room. I think the price is so high as there are not a lot of other accommodation options in the area.

Sfeer in de ontbijtzaalviel erg tegen. Daardoor vonden we het ontbijt ook veel te duur.

Weinig ruimte tussen bed en badkamer. Geen koffieapparaat of waterkoker op de kamer, niet mogelijk om koffie of thee in het hotel te krijgen, we konden er niet binnenkomen. Hotelkamer was in een ander gebouw.. Veel lawaat van restaurant, keuken en straat.

Reviewed Nov 18, 2025Heel compleet en lekker ontbijt, de vleesproeverij is een aanrader als diner, de kamers zijn netjes en de bedden liggen prima.
De waterafvoer in de douche. Al twee kamers gehad waarbij dat echt beroerd is. Hele vloer van de badkamer blank en groot deel van de badkamer wordt nat gespat door de fijn krachtige douchestraal in de volledig open inloopdouches. Niet handig.

Initially manager could not find my reservation for a deluxe room - but eventually we were found a standard room for the night. Have stayed on previous occasions and never encountered this problem before.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025Very friendly staff. We had booked a Deluxe double room. We paid for that too, but we didn't find "Deluxe". It was a very small attic room with a skylight. There was a narrow "chicken stairs" up to the room, which is not for people with minor disabilities. The cleaning was ok. The breakfast was also ok, but we also had to pay extra for that - high price. There is several misleading information in the description of the facilities, e.g. regarding parking and charging of electric cars. Honesty lasts the longest, so all in all it was not worth the money. Friends, think twice before booking this.
