Los baños están sucios. Tuvimos un problema en el baño y en toda la semana no pudieron arreglarlo. No respetaron la tarifa señalada en booking

Nada! No lo recomiendo

Nuestra estancia fue completamente decepcionante y las condiciones del alojamiento no se correspondían en absoluto con lo que se muestra en las fotografías. Al llegar, nos encontramos unas instalaciones en pésimas condiciones de limpieza: la cama, el sofá, la cocina y el baño estaban sucios, hasta el punto de resultarnos desagradable utilizarlos. El check-in era a las 15:00 y, además, nos cobraron 30 dólares por permitirnos entrar antes, a pesar de que la habitación se encontraba en esas condiciones. Para empeorar la situación, no había agua en la habitación y tardaron 1 hora y media en solucionarlo. El día de salida, como nuestro vuelo era por la tarde, preguntamos al personal si podíamos dejar las maletas unas horas en alguna zona del alojamiento. No nos ofrecieron ninguna solución ni alternativa, a pesar de haber pagado ese suplemento por el early check-in. Pero lo peor ocurrió durante la noche. Volvimos de una boda aproximadamente a las 3:00 de la madrugada y encontramos la habitación inundada. Había una gotera y seguía entrando agua. Bajamos inmediatamente a comunicarlo al personal, pero no hicieron caso a nuestra primera reclamación ni actuaron para solucionar el problema. Tuvimos que volver a subir y, al comprobar que seguía entrando agua, bajar de nuevo a insistir. Resulta especialmente frustrante que fuéramos nosotros quienes tuviéramos que insistir e incluso plantear posibles soluciones, cuando era responsabilidad del alojamiento atender una situación tan grave. Disponemos de vídeos que muestran claramente la entrada de agua y la inundación de la habitación, además del estado en el que nos encontramos el alojamiento. La realidad del establecimiento no se corresponde con las fotografías ni con las condiciones que esperábamos al realizar la reserva. Entre la falta de limpieza, la ausencia de agua, la inundación y la falta de respuesta del personal, nuestra experiencia fue pésima.

El momento en que nos fuimos

- Después de haber solicitado por esta aplicación el servicio de "check early", cuando llegamos no tenian disponibles las habitaciones y ya eran las 12:00pm, aun asi volvimos a solicitarlo alli cobrandonos la misma cantidad por solo 3h (desde las 12 hasta las 15:00h) y a mayores nos hicieron esperar a que estuviera lista 45 minutos mas. - La habitación olía a comida y además le faltaba una limpieza general, no solo de las zonas que se usan en el dia a dia. - La habitacion necesita labores de mantenimiento o recambio, grifería, techos, electrodomésticos...

The apartment is super spacious, really clean, and comes with dishes, a fridge, and a full kitchen. There are even two bathrooms, which is great. The living area is comfy, with a table and a sofa, and the bedroom is big and cozy too. The neighborhood feels safe — about a 15‑minute walk to the colonial zone and just a couple of minutes from the seafront. Parking is easy and secure inside the courtyard, monitored 24/7. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Totally recommended.

Die Lage, 1 Minute zur Malecon, Zona Colonial mit Auto 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Gutes Internet. Badewanne, warmes Wasser. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Restaurants in der Nähe zu Fuß zu erreichen. Nachts sehr ruhig. Parkgarage. 2 Zimmer Wohnung mit Küche & großen Kühlschrank. 2 WCs.

Eines der wenigen Hotels in der DR ohne Probleme.

The location is excellent. The location is very close to the ocean and many of the apartments have wonderful views of the ocean! The hotel is also very close to the colonial zone - just a short uber ride away. In addition, there is a great restaurant and a colmado that are only a few steps away. Also, the people that work at the hotel are extremely helpful, nice, and friendly!

While the hotel does offer many television channels, unfortunately, the guests of the hotel are not able to access YouTube. It will be great if the hotel adds this option in the future. Also, there is no television or air conditioner in the main living area - these are only in the bedroom area (at least for the single bedroom apartment that I stayed in). However, there is a fan in the main living area and opening the balcony doors in the main living area to allow the ocean breeze to come through the apartment does help some with the heat. Lastly, when booking at this hotel through booking.com, you should know that the 'final price' that booking.com gives you may not actually be your true final price. The 'final price' that booking.com presented to me when I booked the apartment was actually about $30 less than the price that I was charged when I arrived at the hotel. I was told that the difference was related to the exchange rate between the USD and the DOP, which is always fluctuating. Obviously, if my stay was longer than 5 nights, that price difference would have been larger than $30. I did call booking.com for help with this, but they only re-confirmed that the price difference is tied to an exchange rate between the USD and the DOP.

Estaban más enfocados en quienes iban a subir a la habitación que en la limpieza del lugar.

The apartment could have been cleaner, as there were hairs from previous guests in the bathroom. Aside from that, everything was fine.

Love the property it’s was safe and clean.

Beds are not comfortable and there is not views like it show in the picture the hotel is surrounded by big buildings so no views.

Dusty floors and sink and bathtub goes down slowly. Dirty interior bathtub liner. Also, the fee changed to a higher rate if you use a credit card, please check your bill. If you pay in cash US dollars they will honor the quoted price.

Cuisinette minimaliste, pas de micro-ondes. La télé est dans la chambre et non pas dans le séjour.

They were nice, easy check in, even though it was 1 o’clock in the morning and I made the reservation by emergency 15 minutes before my arrival.

No nos ofrecieron buenas recomendaciones para realizar tour o conocer playas.

El personal del hotel es muy amable y tienen la mejor disposición de ayudar con cualquier inconveniente y presentan buenas recomendaciones para visitar la zona. Por su parte el departamento incluye todas las comodidades que cualquier persona busca. Habitaciones amplias, buena señal de wifi, zona segura.

Excelente limpieza y atención del personal.

Podrían tener en recepción algunas opciones de jugos, gaseosas para la venta. Se valora que de cortesía ponen en la heladera 2 botellas de agua.

Buena ubicación Cerca a la zona Colonial y a supermercado, restaurantes y hoteles

Bien ubicado, a 1km mas o menos del centro caminando, cerca hay restaurantes, farmacias, supermercado. Tiene una cocina amplia, sala, comedor, recámaras bien equipadas.

Sugeriría cambiar el sofá, ya que no es cómodo ni para sentarse y tener en cuenta que las camas individuales son pequeñas, por lo que personas de más estatura tendrían dificultades, son más bien para niños.

¿Qué podrían mejorar? Dejar una escobilla en el baño para limpiar el inodoro. Pueden remover la lama negra de los baños producidos por húmedad, simplemente roceando con un spray cloro a todas las lozas, mínimo 1 vez por semana. Debajo o por dentro de los armarios de ropa limpiarlos. Reemplazar la Caja fuerte del 401 pues esta estropeada... 🫣

La chambre est spacieuse. Seule la chambre était climatisée mais cela me convenait, surtout pour dormir la nuit.

Il est indiqué que le linge de toilette n'est remplacé que si on le laisse au sol dans la salle de bains dans un souci environnemental. Cependant, le linge de toilette a été remplacé tous les jours alors que je l'avais laissé pendu pour sécher.

I have known Hotel Shakey for a long time and the fact that I keep coming back says it all.The location is great, close to restaurants, a supermarket, convenient stores. The staff is ready to help the guests when you need it.

A very nice place to stay value for money

-big apartment -nearby restaurant

-location -poor wifi -room 502 "sea view" = 3rd floor, right in front of another hotel terrace, with workers who can see inside the apartment. You barely see the sea -no place to sit on the balcony, too narrow -destroyed sofa, you cannot sit on it. It needs replacement -We had a leakage in the wc during the night - Only our room had a water outage out of the blue. We had to report it, to have it fixed

Nice, friendly staff working at the front desk and housekeeping! Great ocean view and city view from the balcony! Good location - short drive to colonial zone!

Unfortunately, there is no on-site restaurant at this hotel, but there is a great restaurant named Villar Hermanos that is only a short walk away. Also, there is no AC unit in the living room area, but there is a fan. Lastly, there is no television in the living room area, but there is a television in the bedroom.

This was a GREAT location and a great price for the two bedroom, three bathroom apart-hotel. Very worth it!

This was our second stay at this ApartHotel and it was even better the second time.

Specious, light, well equipped apartment with extraordinary views. Air condition works great in the bedroom. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Towels are cotton with good absorbance. House cleaning does a great job each day. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Near to some good restaurants and at walking distance to Colonial Zone.

Near to rather busy street. Would be great to have AC unit in livingroom as well.

Um 10 Uhr wurden wir angefragt, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll. Um 11 Uhr sah die Person an der Rezeption, dass wir weg gingen. Um 17 Uhr war das Zimmer nicht gemacht und nach Nachfrage kam auch niemand mehr. Aber sonst war alles sehr sauber

Hotel Shakey is close to restaurants, a supermarket. If you want to take public transportation to Zona Colonial, you just walk up to the street and you can find public taxis. The staff is great, they'll help you if you need assistance.
