Great location.... staff were friendly and food was great.... we will definitely stay here again!!

Lovely location and an easy and pleasant journey from the hotel to where we were going (Callander and Loch Katrine). Very comfortable, spacious and well presented room with a view of the loch (see pic). All very clean. Plenty of free parking. We ate in the bar and the mac and cheese was very good.

Quite a limited menu, especially for vegetarians but as we were only there a couple of nights it wasn't a problem.

Personeel was niet al te vriendelijk. Hygiëne was niet top en vooral de bedden waren doorgelegen en te zacht. Teveel betaald voor hetgeen je krijgt. Jammer want de locatie is wel mooi.

Ubicació excel·lent davant del llac. Habitació molt comfortable i àmplia. Bona il·luminació, llit còmode, bona connexió a Internet, bany ampli amb bona potència d'aigua. Petit escriptori per si s'ha de treballar. Opcions d'esmorzar i sopar al propi hotel amb menjar molt bo i preus raonables. Val la pena pagar el plus per tenir una habitació amb vistes al llac. Pàrquing privat del mateix hotel. Personal molt agradable i servicial.

Hi va haver un parell d'aspectes de l'habitació que no estaven prou a punt quan vaig arribar, però ho vaig dir i de seguida ho van solventar amablement. En algun moment de més confluència el ritme del servei al bar restaurant pot ser una mica lent, però no és un problema: relaxa't i gaudeix de l'entorn, de les vistes i de l'ambient!

Nice little unfussy hotel greatly located on the main road from Stirling to the Highlands just off the banks of Loch Earn. Clean rooms. Stable wi-fi. Dessert menu in the restaurant.

Rooms were a bit cold, especially on the first night, but the duvet was enough for a comfortable sleep. Service in the restaurant may be a bit slow, yet the food was great (especially the desserts).

La struttura necessita indubbiamente di manutenzione. La nostra stanza era molto vecchia e soprattutto aveva un materasso terribile, anche i cuscini non erano da meno. Una notte davvero pessima.

Great location right on the water. The pub is great, nice food (quite expensive). Staff were accommodating and lovely. Asked about a later checkout and she extended this to 11am.

There are no facilities linked to the hotel. Its bedrooms and a pub. We thought breakfast was included, however it wasn’t £15pp. Would definitely recommend passing a shop before arriving as there isn’t any within walking distance.

Nice location right next to the lake. Room and bathroom is clean. Very friendly staff.

It smells funny in the lobby and it smells chemicals in the room. Beds could be a bit comfortable. Also it was pretty cold and the heating was off.

Lovely location overlooking the loch. A very busy little hotel for meals which were good quality and value for money. Room was comfortable and shower worked well. Staff were friendly and created a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere. Location is excellent for exploring the beautiful countryside to be found in this area.

The room was lovely and it is a lovely setting right on the loch. It is pretty much the only place nearby. The breakfast in the morning was lovely as were the staff quite a young team.

last orders for dinner is very early at 7.30pm which after we arrived was a bit of a push and if you arrive late there really is no we here else to go to eat.

Generally a pleasant stay. Great location next to the Loch. Nice large room and bathroom.

No hot water in the room in the morning for some reason and we left the shower running for at least 5 minutes. Staff could have been a bit more welcoming, but England were playing that night so maybe why 🤔😊

Das Essen im dazugehörigen Restaurant/Pub war lecker und preislich fair.

Die Zimmer waren sehr dreckig! Auf dem Boden lagen überall Haare und Haarbüschel, vor allem im Bad, die Handtücher hatten Flecken und die Bettbezüge waren sowohl für die Kissen, als auch Bettdecken, als auch für die Matratzen zu kurz, sodass das Bettzeug zum Teil unbezogen war. Im ganzen Hotel und im Zimmer waren in den Ecken kleine, dicke Spinnen und die Böden waren auch im übrigen Hotel definitiv nicht als sauber zu bezeichnen. Das schlechteste Hotel unserer Reise.

The room was gorgeous and spacious, a great setup for families. The watersports facility next door was unexpected and great. We spent an hour or so paddle boarding on the lake. Fabulous.

There was no comfy lounge area, the food wasn't great, and the staff person in charge seemed over stressed and was quite unfriendly initially.

On arrival no staff at check in , no sign to direct visitors where to check in . Not very welcoming or good first impression.

The location was amazing! Virtually all the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the first morning.

Fabulous location, very large room and Lynn and her team went way beyond expectations to make the stay pleasurable. Lynn in particular was amazing. We hope to be able to return in the future.

Keiner zum Einchecken da, musste selbst die Initiative ergreifen Zimmertür hatte großen Spalt, dadurch waren Leute auf Flur zu hören. Eine Sitzmöglichkeit im Zimmer wäre schön.

The room and the view were perfect.The hotel bar area had a pleasant atmosphere.The bedding was clean and the bed comfy.Breakfast was excellent,we chose the continental which was more than adequate.

Booking had een verkeerde datum doorgegeven die afweek van onze bevestiging. Het hotel was vol. Met moeite hebben ze naar andere opties gebeld. We hebben een paar dagen later nog om een aantal mails gevraagd die booking nodig had om onze boeking terug te betalen. Na veel telefoontjes is dit niet gelukt. Steeds beloftes maar deze niet nagekomen,

The location is beautiful and convenient for those looking to explore the nearby Scottish highlands. Our twin room was well equipped for our single night stay. The room, bathroom, furniture and linens were clean.

My room was right above either the kitchen or the bar and there was constant banging of a door however it stopped early enough not to affect my sleep. Staff were great and hotel was clean and modern

We opted for a double room with garden view as they were less expensive than ones facing the lake (and road). The room was very quiet at the back of the hotel and the beds were very comfortable. Shower was good. We ate dinner at the pub and our meal was quite good (a meat pie with potato and salad). It is wonderful to sit outside on the terrace with the lake view. The staff were all friendly.

The hotel is located not far (10min walk) from a bus stop which is very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our queries. The room was much more spacious than expected, the bed very comfortable and everything was spotless. Wifi worked perfectly despite the remote location. Gorgeous view of the loch ;) Do try out the filling but delicious Scottish breakfast, as well as dinner at the restaurant which serves fresh and tasty dishes. Finally, there are plenty of tips for tours around, though you would need a bike or a car for most of them. But walking along the loch is already very nice!

Just be aware that the hotel is a relatively small business, so reception is not staffed at all times and you may have to get someone at the restaurant to assist you with check-in. But afterwards they will happily help you!

When i got there the staff were warm and friendly, i was then shown to my room and given the time for breakfast and dinner times, i had dinner later that night and the staff told me whats in the local area and what i could do/see.

Mattress. Kept waking up when partner moved. It was the same for him! Very limited menu,. Nothing that wasnt hugely fattening! I try to be gluten free, so I had the chicken, which was delicious. However, we would have liked to come back for a few days, but we're put off by the menu.

Probably the best small hotel we've stayed at! Recently refurbished and squeaky clean. Comfortable bed super big walk-in rain shower. Well cooked food. Lovely Bothy area for evenings with a pool table. Staff friendly. Lovely position overlooking Loch Earn. We will be back?

The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the Loch and surrounding hills. The staff were helpful and friendly and a good selection of drinks and hot food available at the bar downstairs.

Great Location opposite the loch. Brilliant views out the window at the front. Rooms really clean and comfortable and well set up with various plugs on the desk for travellers. Really lovely, friendly, laid back staff and atmosphere. Tasty comfort food. Good variety of red wine too. Well stocked bar. Great breakfast with loch views.

Dinner menu could have been a little bigger but what we had was really tasty.

The room was comfortable and the location was good. Having the accommodation as part of the pub, serving good food and drinks, was very convenient. The staff were all friendly.

The walls are not too soundproof, and the bathroom floor could use a mop.
