Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Ein früherer Check-in war problemlos möglich. Spät nachts war es ruhig im Haus und in der Umgebung. Man kann in den oberen Stockwerken bei offenem Fenster schlafen und wird mit Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Es gibt Fliegengitter an den Fenstern - das ist aussergewöhnlich gut. Das Bad war sauber und neu, Toilettenartikel, ausreichend saubere Handtücher und Wasser wurden bereitgestellt. Mir wurde bei der Abreise sogar ein Transfer zum Bahnhof angeboten - das fand ich sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.
Die guten Bewertungen und die ansprechenden Fotos hatten mich dazu bewogen, das Gästehaus zu buchen. Nach meinem Aufenthalt verstehe ich nicht, wie diese zustande kommen konnten. Ich hatte ein Standardzimmer gebucht, weil kurzfristig kein anderes Zimmer mehr verfügbar war. Bis auf das Bad war das Zimmer nicht besonders gepflegt. Die Fenster wurden sicher schon länger nicht mehr geputzt und die Balkontüre liess sich nicht richtig schliessen. Nachts habe ich die Federn der Matratze gespürt, was meinen Schlaf wenig erholsam machte. Ein Topper oder eine etwas hochwertigere Matratze würden da sicher helfen. Zudem gab es tagsüber bis in die späten Abendstunden ein unterbrochenes, aber lautes Brummen, vielleicht von der Belüftungsanlage nebenan oder von dem antiken Kühlschrank auf dem Flur? Mein tagsüber hinterlassenes „Do-not-disturb“-Schild wurde ignoriert, immerhin um den Mülleimer zu leeren und die Handtücher zu tauschen. Das war sicher lieb gemeint. Trotzdem hätte ich es mehr geschätzt, man hätte meine Privatsphäre respektiert. Die Gastgeber rauchen im Aussenbereich, das riecht man manchmal auch im Haus ein wenig, ebenso wie die wirklich sehr anhänglichen, aber lieben Hunde. Gemeinschaftsräume und Eingangsbereich wirkten unaufgeräumt und wenig gepflegt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für mich im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Unterkünften in Taiwan nicht unbedingt.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2023Friendly staff. Pets friendly as long as you notify them in advance. Location is not near the beach but our party rented motorbikes so it was rather easy to travel around. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. Provided toiletries are of good quality as well.
There is not much eateries or convenience store in immediate vicinity of the property. Not a problem for my stay cos we have vehicles. But for people who don't will have to take note.
