Great welcome, lovely clean, comfy bedroom, fab en suite. Bar staff friendly, nice atmosphere. Restaurant staff very efficient & attentive. Good food. Leisure staff friendly & pool etc facilities excellent!

The staff were exceptional. All smiles and chat. The room was lovely, awesome shower and a great spa. Nothing I could fault.

It had everything you needed. Pool lovely, location was so handy to walk to places. Very clean, rooms enormous. Staff so helpful.

Room and bathroom spacious and comfortable. Bed too. Decor was wxcellent and didnt 'jar'. Windows were oenable. Very quiet. Look out onto established trees. Dinner was EXCELLLENT with good assortmant of correctly cooked vergetables.

The haddock at breakfast was dry. The MUSAC was TRULY AWFUL in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. LOUD, RAUCOUS AND ALL PERVADING. They did turn it down for us a little, but we couldn't wait to leave. Conversation was impossible.

Es war einfach wunderbar. Das Hotel sieht von außen gar nicht so spektakulär aus. Aber das Zimmer war riesig und sehr toll eingerichtet. Der Spa Bereich nicht sehr groß, aber super toll. Alles da was man braucht. Restaurant und Frühstück genial. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Es war ruhig und das Bett einfach mega bequem. Jederzeit wieder. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln. Im Gegenteil.

We stayed in the parklands suite. The jacuzzi was excellent 4 poster bed huge shower. What more could you ask for

Everything about the property was lovely. The rooms were a fantastic size and bathrooms were absolutely pristine. Room service was brilliant and all staff were very friendly.

The spa was really good, the room large and spacious however slightly more dated than I thought going by the images. The bathroom was nice, well equipped with a large bath. Restaurant was nice, only had a breakfast there but it was nice.

The room decor was a little tired in my particular room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit, which made us feel so well looked after. The restaurant staff were absolutely amazing — attentive, professional, and always happy to help. The food and service made dining there a real pleasure.

adly, part of the hydro pool was out of order during our visit, which meant we didn’t get to enjoy the full experience. However, we had an excellent massage at the Beauty Spot, which more than made up for it. The treatment was fantastic and really helped us relax.

Lovely large well equipped room bedroom. Bed beautifully comfortable. The bathroom was clean large, and nice hot shower. Facilities included use of the swimming pool: gym:sauna and steam room. All very good and inclusive in the cost. Lovely clean soft towels for use at the pool also.

Lovely decor and comfortable. Room was very quiet and I slept well. Location ideal. Bath was to die for. Real luxury bathroom too!

Can’t say much but it was disappointing that the safe in room was faulty then fixed when I was out and left open with all my valuables unsecured. ! Reception didn’t think anything was wrong with this when I mentioned it.

I booked two nights in the Executive Suite as part of a 60th Birthday present for my husband. Being July and during the Commonwealth Games, the room was probably more than I would usually pay,but the reviews and photographs were all very positive so I was happy to do so. Having travelled a lot and stayed in many different types of hotel, I was disappointed with the overall presentation of the room. Dark wood and furnishings which are all in need of an update. An enormous dark wooden structure encased a television which was thick with dust along the top and was incredibly old fashioned. No bathmat in the bathroom, miniature ( tiny) complimentary toiletries, flat lumpy pillows : this is not what you expect for 'Executive ' prices. The lift was also playing up so we had to take 3 flights of stairs which was fine, although I was horrified to see 3 old mattresses piled up at the bottom of the stairs. Breakfast was ok, but expensive for what was on offer ( no smoked salmon or haddock the morning we were there) Just down the road is a fabulous cafe ( the Broom Cafe) where we enjoyed great food at a good price on the morning we left. A plus point for Parklands were the staff who couldn't have been nicer, but overall a disappointing and expensive stay.

If anything, the outside eating could have been a bit more sheltered, although very minor detail.

The staff were extremely welcoming. Our rooms were really lovely- spacious and light. Great location for the city and for Ayrshire. We didn’t use the spa or gym facilities but our family in Newton Mearns use them regularly and rate them highly.

We were there during the extreme heat and did find the rooms very hot. We were offered fans on arrival but we had brought our own anyway. Breakfast was good, just a wee bit overpriced for us.

The hotel was nice enough and the staff very lovely. The spa area was a bit of a let down. The lighting in all the photos online makes it look far better than it actually is. However, it did the job. There were kids in the pool after 6:30, which was disappointing, as we specifically went at that time to avoid them. For the rate we paid, I would have expected breakfast to be included. Evening meal was ok, but there were limited vegetarian options. Would have liked to see more alcohol free beers and maybe a cider on the menu. The bed was extremely comfortable, which scores an extra point.

We booked Parklands for our wedding as we had stayed a few times beforehand and just loved the hotel and the staff. Nothing is ever a bother for them. They are such amazing and lovely people and work so hard as a team to make guests at the hotel feel so welcome. We knew when we got engaged we wanted to get married there. Special shout out to Jennifer who from start to finish was fantastic and worked so hard planning our day and it was just the best day! We wish we could relive it all over again. All the staff on our day were also fantastic and worked hard to make everything go so smoothly. Our honeymoon suite was beautiful also and we wanted to thank the housekeeping staff also for making our room look amazing. The chefs also for our amazing food it was beautiful and our guests loved it too. We will be back in future for more stays and food. Thank you again to the team at Parklands hotel! We could not have picked a better venue for our special day.

Staff throughout the hotel, restaurant and spa were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had use of the spa and pool facilities which really exceeded our expectations. We had lunch and 2 dinners in Michael's, all of which was fantastic. Our room was exceptionally clean. Lovely walk in shower and great sized bath. A very relaxing few days as everything you need is available in the hotel with no need to go elsewhere. Can't wait to return.

I didn’t like the area, the room was very noisy, the electric plugs didn’t work and I had to call down to get these fixed.

Excellent stay at the Parklands, very clean and staff were excellent and so helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Visit to the restaurant and bar is also recommended, great food and selection of drinks. As this was a short trip we didn't have time to use any of the amenities within the spa but did look very clean and nice.

Staff were lovely, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel itself was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was also delicious and again staff were lovely and attentive.

Bathroom had a slight cigarette smell, and the balcony had an empty bottle with cigarette butts left on it. The rest of the room and the bathroom itself were immaculate.

Room was a great size for two of us. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet, despite being fully booked.

Our stay at Parkland Hotel and Country Club was lovely. The executive room and bathroom facilities were excellent. Access to the pool, gym, two saunas, and steam room was a real bonus and very much appreciated. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The only disappointment during our stay was the continental breakfast, which felt quite expensive for what was offered and could be improved. A better quality of fresh pastries would have been welcome, and there was no bread available. More fruit options would also have been appreciated, along with plain Greek yogurt and some cheese. The coffee was very good, and there was a choice of juices, but overall breakfast was the one area that didn’t quite match the standard of the rest of the stay.

It was very clean, very quiet, nice and relaxing and absolutely nothing to complain about, we stayed in the Executive Suite and it was exceptional, the staff were friendly and were very helpful with transport etc. The food was also very good and very friendly service.

We had a lovely stay, the room was very nice, staff were very pleasant to deal with, although I was disappointed that the steam room was out of order, the pool was very nicely heated & I enjoyed the very spacious & very hot jacuzzi & sauna. We had booked breakfast which was really nice, lots of choice, amazing full scottish breakfast & the best hot chocolate I've tasted in a while. 😋

The only tiny thing was the bedside lamps was you couldn't put one off without them both going off. You couldn't keep just your side on & put the other side off but that's the only thing

The steam room was out of service. The spa pool most of it did not work. Woman's changing rooms was closed between 8 and 10.30 today No lockers avaliable in woman's changing rooms when went to spa on Wednesday evening after we arrived The main reason for out stay was the included spa, which was a bit of a let down due to points noted above, should have been informed of this and maybe a chance to change the evening we stayed as this was a gift for my partners birthday.

The noise ! I have stayed here quite often for work . Never a Friday night. Very noisy. Kept me awake. Had to bang on neighbours door to request him be quiet ! Not impressed!
