Kiet Hong Hotel

Cơ sở vật chất chắc do ks lâu đời nên hơi cũ

Khách sạn tốt nhiều dịch vụ đi kèm so giá thấy đáng tiền

Very good natural lighting, ac worked well. The staff is super nice and accomodating.

Ok

Nothing to say

Near to ferry terminal. Just walking arocss the road. Below is wet market and coffee shop. Room is big with double bed.

The stairs. Place is very quiet at night. Have to taxi when going around.

Old, but safe and good :)

Location is just oposit the ferry pier. Ideal for a trip to Phu Quoc. Cheap. Large room with large bed and a little balcony. Smal restaurant at the entrance of the hotel.

High, steep stairs to reception. Difficult with large suitcases. The hotel is in the middle of a weekend market. Friday at midnight the vendors came and set up their stalls with lots of shouting, loud music, traffic noise and honking until the morning. The shower drain was clogged. After showering, the entire bathroom and toilet were under water. We paid 439,000 VDN with Booking.com. On site it only costs 339 VDN.

Room is clean and large will facilities out of expectation. Nearby ferry station and a small market right downstairs. Very convenient. Friendly & helpful staff.

Excellent location right next to port and cheap street food, unlimited access to a great gym with free taxi to and from. Free drinking water.

It was great for one night as we were getting the ferry the next morning and we had had a lovely dinner very close by to the hotel very local and I had a nice market in front of the door

It was very basic but very clean and good. The only thing I can say was close to the mian road but still OK as we were getting the ferry the next morning

A great room and the hotel seemed to have extra options eg free Zumba and hotel that we didn’t have time to make the most of. It’s v easy to get to/ from the port. The hotel had a folder of good bars/ restaurants which was v useful because google maps didn’t seem to have good information on this

The hotel is above a market and there was a 24 hour restaurant playing music throughout the night. Not too loud but the easily woken might want to bring earplugs.

It's across the road from the ferry terminal for our early morning crossing

The bed, it was like trying to sleep on a brick. It's the worst mattress I've tried to sleep on, we looked in the morning, and it's just a bit of foam. The bugs, they are everywhere. We had ants crawling up the walls and all over the bed. There is a sign apologising about the bugs, but I wish I knew before booking as I wouldn't have booked.

It's all about the location which is just across the ferry port. Room was nice and I also had a small balcony. The hotel even offers free taxi rides within the city.

The location was amazing, right across the street from the ferry port. Also, there was a market right in front of the building, which was convenient especially for breakfast time.

A bit noisy as it was close to the main road and early in the morning you could hear the locals setting up the market stalls. But all understandable and not too much of an inconvenience.

Nothing, this place isn’t even worth one star !

Dirty, old, pillows smelt of sweat, mattress old and uncomfortable, shower drain blocked, bathroom smelt of urine, stained toilet seat, poor facilities in the room

For a 1 star hotel they were helpful. Room was big enough for 2 and clean. We stayed in a 2 star in Dalat and this place was way better. Location for us was good as it was close to the ferry. They also offer a free taxi service 8 times a day to the city centre.

The beds were hard like most other places in Vietnam.

Good

Everything

Great place for overnight before catching the Ferry Phu Quoc Express - Just across the street. Free taxi service - took us to dinner and back. Free bike rental, great for riding around the city park along the water front....

The room was clean, staff friendly. Location great if you stay there to take the Phu Quoc-ferry in the morning. Good value for money.

The AC didn't work and the bed was hard, but considering the bill I reckon it being ok.

Very close to ferry

Market next to the hotel is noisy in the morning

Very close to the ferry, a short walk over the road.

Very dated property, the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. Morning markets were underneath the building, very noisy at 4am as they were setting up and the the road noise at night was very noisy. I booked because I thought they had a pool but it is actually only access to a pool at a gym which is 2km away. Unless you really want to be over the road from the ferry I would stay elsewhere.

Cozy little hotel located few steps from pier. I had a spacious room with a small balcony, nice views to riverside/sea. Hotel offers bicycles for free, and motorbikes are also very reasonably priced. They even offer free taxi service inside the city. I had a great one-day visit, I surely would stay there couple days longer next time!

Everything was good.

I stayed at room no. 209. The A/C was not good. It made noise and not cool enough.

Staff was very loud during the night not taking into account that they have guests sleeping close to the lobby. Hotel is located next to the street market so it was noisy in early morning. Not possible to pay by card. I wound not recommend this place.

Was ok to stay for just one night. Bed was uncomfortable but had some cute amenities and close to ferry.

perfect for staying the night near the ferry terminal

Conveniently located right across from the ferry. Good value for money.

Ok, so the bed is rock hard, which I don't actually mind, BUT the pillow was also rock hard, so it felt like sleeping on concrete, and this kept me awake much of the night. Another thing that needs to be considered with beds this hard is that only a very high pillow will work with this type of bed. I travel with my own pillow, but it was unusable with a bed this hard, as it was too low.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night before morning ferry to Phu Quoc. Location is great, port is just across the street. In the evening we took free bicycles form hotel to dinner in the city.

The bed was really hard.

free taxi service

Our room was large, basic and clean. A perfect location for the ferry port which is just across the road.

Good and reasonably priced hotel that is just across the road from the port to get a boat to the islands. Love the taxi service and the free bicycles/scooters (small surcharge). May be a bit noisy early in the morning as it is located in the middle of a local market. The hotel could do better with the bedsheets as they’re way too thin. Will stay again.

The location was perfect for me, opposite the boat but also close to lots of places to eat and there was a market on the doorstep in the morning which was really nice to wander through before I left. The room had everything you could need including excercise equipment and games! Plus I slept really well

Nothing!

Excellent location just infront of the ferry of Rach Gia. Rooms are clean. You also have free taxi to go to the city and they could also pick u up for free. Really this hotel deserves more in the spotlight. Staffs are also helpful. They also help us book our ticket to Can Tho. Internet was also fast. For the price alone, it's so worth it.

It's a nice surprise , to find a so good and perfect hotel in this stop over city for Phu Cuoc Island traveler in transit! Cleanliness at top level and one of the best service desk in my life!!Excellent large room and bathroom with scenic view on the port/channel. Price really cheaper for hotel class and services!

We stayed in Rach Gia, purely as a springboard to Phú Quôc and although I wouldn’t particularly recommend the town as somewhere to stay; this hotel was very good value and offered everything you needed (even a free taxi service round town!). It is good value for money and located right by the ferry!

Amazing stay and hospitality first time it went this week in Vietnam for me! Only complaint is there’s ole birds that are a bit loud during the night but you can’t do anything about that!

We only stayed 1 night to catch the ferry to Phu Quoc the next morning (30 second walk - just cross the street and you’re in the terminal). Arrived late but the receptionist was super nice explaining where we could get food, change money, buy ferry tickets. We ended up buying the tickets online and they printed them for us for free. They gave us a cell phone and instructions on how to reach them if lost, and that we should use their free taxi service when going out. In the morning we had breakfast in the market that takes place at the hotel exit. Room extremely spacious and clean. This hotel exceeded all expectations!

A no frills hotel with lots of charm. Room is basic but the air conditioning works well. Upon check-in they give you an old school Nokia which you can use to call their free taxi service to scoot around town. We didn’t use it but it was a great touch! They provide games in the room and complementary water (which we didn’t use because plastic bottles are the devil, y’all - stick to reusable!). We stayed here because it’s directly opposite the ferry terminal.

I stayed 3 nights at this place, super location and exceptional service. I met the owner he has passion for servicing customers. They offer free taxi service unlimited to go for Resturant, bar ,shopping. If you calculate sometimes this more than price you pay for the hotel. They have free water, Vietnamese tea making facilities and an exercise equipment in the room. The hotel just 2 minute walk from the ferry port, it is very convenient to go to the other island. All staff are very friendly and helpful to satisfy the customer needs.I highly recommend this place for anyone.

Close to market boat dock to Phu Quoc. Clean, good service and best of all is the free taxi. We had no problem reserving the taxi. The driver was very accommodating

Hotel good for short stay. Shower drainage was poor and caused bathroom to be flooded. Bed against wall was awkward to access. Local area good for food and coffee.

Hotel very near the harbor and inside small local market. Cheap price , room is nice with balcony and free bottle of water & wet towel in room. Good point is they have free taxi from 7:00AM - 9:45PM. Driver can take you around Rach Gia city, some place to eat , coffee or shopping and park near the beach also. Service is good, staffs are very nice and helpfull, highly recommend for who will stay in Rach Gia.

I've been to Rach Gia many times and honestly for the price you won't find better than this. The rooms are super clean, there's hot water (most of the time), A/C and comfortable beds. The free taxi is a nice to have but I ended up taking my own transportation (xe om) a lot because you need to wait for a very long time to get this free taxi sometimes. As others have mentionned, there's water on the floor in the bathroom from the A/C but it's really no big deal.

Hotellilla on ilmainen taksipalvelu jota voi käyttää 8x päivässä, todella loistavaa!

Very good location, nice, clean and modern rooms, amazing service from travel tips booklet to free taxi. Super helpful staff, our receptionist Le Tan was very friendly and happy to help us. Would definitely come back again, great value

Very quick check in. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Best location if you're taking an early morning boat.

The rooms are very clean to the small details, the design is very convenient for the living of the guests stay and full facilities, although the standard only 1.5 stars and I appreciate the cheerful, enthusiastic receptionist Oanh Hotel is very professional! Perhaps this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Rach Gia.

Clean and big rooms in this friendly hotel. Free taxi service on city grounds up to times a day. Next to the ferry port and a market around the hotel.

A local tour guide recommended this hotel and it was pretty cheap, so we didn’t expect much but we’re happily surprised. Very interesting systems they have in place! You get given a simple mobile phone to call the free taxi service the hotel provides. Games in the rooms. Mini bar/snack bar. Could do with a kettle in each room instead of getting a flask of hot water on arrival. Great hot water (although the shower area was a bit mouldy and could do with a proper clean). Location is great - close to ferry terminals/ticket office.

We spend only one night in the Kiet Hing Hotel, but it was a pleasant surprise. The service is 5 star - upon check-in you get a mobile phone and can use 10 free taxi rides a day. The hotel gave us also recommendations regarding the restaurants (the food was great btw.), best dishes in the region, ferry ticket office etc. The room was spacious and clean, with air-con, a game corner and a guide to Rach Gia and the nearby restaurants. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but there is a big food market downstairs and the guide provides info about dishes and prices. The food we ordered was very tasty. The hotel is located opposite the ferry terminal, so it was only a 5 minute walk to cach the ferry. However, the city looked very nice and I wish we could spend there more time than just one night. Cash payment only.

Opposite the ferry terminal, right by the markets, lovely staff, cheap but good rooms, secure place for our bike over night, free water whenever you needed it. English speaking at reception which was helpful and pointed us out to some places for dinner which was great! Would recommend staying here if you want to head over to Phu Quoc via a ferry!!

stayed here for one night if we had the time I would of stayed longer got the supper dong ferry in the mourning the room was very big with a fan plus air con fridge tv hot shower all at a very good price they even give you a mobile phone so you can use there free taxi service the ferry terminal is 2 minutes walk with the ticket office 5 minutes walk over the bridge next to the coop super market which was all so handy

We stayed here for just 1 night as part of a 6 week self guided cycle tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Well, this was a real surprise! The hotel looked a little unloved and is situated in the middle of a market area very close to the ferry terminal. We arrived by bicycle and they soon had a security parking area opened for us to secure the bikes overnight. Check in is on the first floor above the shops and was one of our most efficient Check in experiences. Our rooms were a real surprise - nice and clean and spacious, with bottled water and green tea supplied with cups and saucers, a small minibar with reasonable pricing. The aircon worked well. There was really good, comprehensive guest information in Vietnamese and English, including a big range of restaurants, ranging from 'expensive, tourist' oriented to budget, local eats. The desk staff were always professional and helpful. The hotel had a car and driver parked at the hotel, ready to take guests anywhere in the city on request. They even gave us a local service mobile phone with a slip of instructions - pretty much 'hand the phone and instructions to your waiter(ess) and they will tell the driver where to pick you up to bring you back to the hotel' so we had taxis free each way. Amazing! This wins the 'over- delivers' award and the 'outstanding value' award from all of the hotels we visited on our stay. Well being our expectations of a budget hotel next to a port! It was a pity we didn't have more time in this town. The rate of redevelopment here was far beyond any other location on our trip.
