Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Het was een heel mooi huis dicht bij het strand. Het was heerlijk om hier te overnachten. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Heerlijk ontbijt gekregen. De kamer had airco wat heerlijk was bij een warme nacht.
Wanneer je aankomt tijdens de dag, is het soms wat lastiger om parking te vinden. Hiermee rekening houden is handig. Je had niet echt veel plek om je handdoek of zwemgerief te drogen wanneer je van het strand terugkwam. Maar buiten dit, was het geweldig!

Des odeurs nauséabondes remontaient systématiquement de la salle de douche (chambre N2). Les produits du petit déjeuner étaient "chip" ! Ecran de télé totalement décalé par rapport au lit, au mieux orienté à 45° par rapport au lit. Parking effectivement gratuit mais quasi inexistant en journée avec la proximité de la plage.

Attention cependant c'est impossible de se garer en journée (on a du repartir et revenir plus tard...), l'endroit est bondé (peut être parce qu'on était samedi), mais le soir c'est ok il a des places gratuites pas loin. Petit dej varié et copieux. Lit hyper confortable 🙂

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Posizione estremamente comoda vicino alla famosa spiaggia vulcanica di Seixal. casa rustica, tradizionale: ci siamo sentiti accolti nonostante la prima impressione un po’ austera Colazione buona, anche se non troppo abbondante per le opzioni Personale e proprietari estremamente cordiali e simpatici, si vede che amano ciò che fanno e apprezzano i turisti che ospitano. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la possibilità di utilizzo della cucina, che abbiamo sfruttato molto, nonostante fosse in condivisione con gli altri ospiti.
La struttura non ha dei veri e propri parcheggi, ci sono parcheggi gratuiti disponibili in tutto il paese ma sono spesso occupati e sia turisti che abitanti si ritrovano costretti a parcheggiare in qualsiasi posto ci sia uno spazio, anche in mezzo alla strada, il che non è il massimo sopratutto se l'auto che si ha è a noleggio e c'è il rischio che venga danneggiata visto le strade strette. Ciononostante, il problema non è della struttura. La situazione è diffusa in tutta l'isola

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Amazing place! The atmosphere at the Casa which dates back to the 18th century is so special - breathing history. The room itself is sufficiently spacious and the bathroom is clean and well-equipped. The entire place and surroundings is quiet and peacful. The small library and the downstairs shared lounge and reading areas are great places to relax with a good book and a glass of wine. Breakfast is available inside and outside on the patio. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and Seixal is a good starting point for many hiking tours and the fascinating Fanal forest is a 25 min drive.
If you arrive by car, be prepared that the parking spot situation around the apartment is not so easy.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026La casa e l’arredamento d’epoca e gli spazi comuni molto ampi. Abbiamo anche apprezzato i teli da mare in camera.
La pulizia è solo di base, abbiamo trovato purtroppo peli e capelli nelle lenzuola. I materassi sono a molle, morbidissimi, e sembrano anche abbastanza usurati. A colazione ho preso un uovo sodo che all’interno era ammuffito (immagino da quanti giorni fosse lì per i clienti) così come alcune fette di formaggio. In generale la casa ha tanto potenziale, ma la gestione dovrebbe essere rivalutata.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Ett mycket härligt boende med fräscha rum och ett uppdaterat kök om man vill använda det. Mysig terrass samt uteplats och ett boende med rustik känsla. God frukost och Natalia tog väl hand om oss. Som bilderna visar är huset rustikt, men detta tyckte vi tillförde.
Kuddarna var mycket hårda, men det verkar vara standard på Madeira.

Parkplatzsituation etwas schwierig, da am Parkplatz unten die Touristen, eigentlich, nicht parken dürfen laut Schildern. Die Parkplätze direkt hinter dem Haus waren bei unserer Anreise schon besetzt. Bei der Anreise (18:45) hatten wir vorerst ein Problem beim Einchecken, da ich auf Madeira nicht auf meine Mails zugreifen konnte, und die Infos zum Self-Check-In sind über Booking- Account gekommen. Nachdem ich in meinen Account doch Zugang gefunden habe, war wieder alles klar.

Reviewed May 15, 2026Wat een prachtig landhuis! Heel authentiek. Natalia heeft ons prima verzorgd, wat een lieve gastvrouw. Lekker ontbijt, mooie zitjes in de woning, nette kamer, goede bedden. Top!! Je loopt zo naar de rotsbaden en het strand.
Het uitzicht uit onze kamer was niet best. Rommelige binnenplaats maar met de luiken dicht zie je het niet. De andere kamers aan de voorzijde hadden goed uitzicht. Let hier op bij het boeken. De route naar de parkeerplaats is best smal dus huur een niet al te grote auto....

Esperienza pessima a Casa das Videiras. La struttura era completamente invasa da un odore di incenso talmente forte da rendere difficile restare in camera; abbiamo dovuto aprire tutte le finestre e segnalarlo alla proprietaria. All’ingresso c’è una cappella, che dà alla casa un’atmosfera da edificio religioso più che da alloggio turistico. Non è quello per cui ho pagato. Inoltre non c’è parcheggio nelle vicinanze, il che rende l’arrivo e la gestione dei bagagli piuttosto scomodi. Nessuno si è presentato al check‑in e la colazione era scarsa. Non tornerei e non lo consiglierei.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026On a le luxe, le confort et propreté d’un bel hôtel mais le tout dans une maison traditionnelle portugaise pleine de charme et à deux pas de l’océan, dans le pittoresques village de Seixal, avec une supérette pas loin et de la place pour se garer. Le,logement comprend aussi cuisine, salle à manger et salon communs, bien équipé où le petit déjeuner est servi (on peut même manger dehors). Je recommande de à 100% pour avoir quelque chose de plus authentique en dehors des hots spots touristiques du sud de l’île.

In the room was smelling of sewer , the safe was not working so you had to carry our personal belongings with us ,also the mattress was uncomfortable , got the back pain in holidays. Was not happy at all with the stay ! Do not recommend
