Het hotel heeft een hele fijne sfeer en het bijbehorende restaurant is voortreffelijk

Nah am Bahnhof

1 Zimmer war nicht geputzt, Kühlschrank dreckig, Badezimmer dreckig, sehr heiß, keine Klimaanlage, nur Ventilator-der war nicht angemacht, das ganze Bett quietschte bei jeder Bewegung, Frühstück einfach, an einer Wand hing ein Willkommensbrief mit Info, das wars. Am nächsten Tag zog ich in ein anderes Zimmer, wenigstens sauber, aber Probleme im Bad und Toilette, zum Schluss sollte ich einen hohen Betrag für meinen Hund zahlen und für spezielle Reinigung-eine Frechheit, meine Zimmerkarte ging auch einmal nicht, Personal war wenig anwesend, nach 3 Tagen wurde einmal gereinigt.

Mhmm, nachdem wir nach 16 Stunden Aufenthalt, dass erstmal jemanden aus Fleisch und Blut angetroffen haben, war die Dame sehr freundlich und bemüht!!!

- Einchecken (Info, dass man online einchecken muss, kam 1,5 Stunden nach Ankunft) - sollten doppelt zahlen, da dass System die Zahlung über Booking auch nach 2 Wochen noch nicht verarbeitet hatte - telefonisch niemand erreichbar, da Bürozeiten von 7-11 Uhr, schlecht, wenn man doch erst ab 15 Uhr einchecken kann - Preis-Leistung funktioniert so nicht

Keine Klimaanlage, eher teuer für das gebotene. Frühstück eher teuer.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel, sehr gutes Restaurant mit Bio und regionalem Konzept, das Frühstück war ein besonderes Erlebnis. Vor allem konnte man bei schönem Wetter im Innenhof frühstücken vom Frühstücksbuffet her lieben keine Wünsche offen

Freundliches Personal unkompliziert bei Check-in und Checkout

Badezimmer in Sachen Sauberkeit 7/10. Keine hoteleigenen Parkplätze.

SEHR zentrale Lage, ruhig, sehr sauber! Geschäfte wie Rossmann, Rewe, NKD, Deichmann, Apotheke, Bäcker etc. sind fußläufig 3 Min weg. Es gibt einen kleinen park mit Spielplatz und Wasserfontänen, was für uns mit einjährigem Kind perfekt war! Toller Innenhof in dem Frühstück serviert wird.

Im Badezimmer gab es weder Handseife noch Duschgel oder Shampoo. Haben dann selbst Seife gekauft. Obwohl wir mit Baby angereist sind, gab es im Bad nur zwei grosse Handtücher. Hätte mir da eins mehr gewünscht. Bei der Ankunft war keine Rezeption da, was etwas merkwürdig war, nur ein Umschlag mit dem Namen und der Zimmerkarte. Erst später wurde die Rezeption geöffnet, was aber nirgends stand. Es gibt einen Fahrstuhl, aber man muss trotzdem zwei Stufen zur Eingangstür rauf. Keine Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Es gab auch nur einen allgemeinen Hinweis zu "Parken im Parkhaus 5€/Tag". Aber nicht welches Parkhaus, wo das ist, wie man zu Fuß am kürzesten mit dem gesamten Gepäck zum Hotel gelangt.

Das Bad war recht neu und sehr praktisch ausgestattet. Der Innenhof zum draußen Frühstücken war wunderbar. Sehr gutes Kopfkissen im Bett.

Beim Frühstück fehlte ein frischer Obstsalat und am 2. Tag war der Speck zu den Eiern aus und es wurde nichts nachgeliefert. Es war schwierig einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Schönes Hotel. Etwas älter aber sehr charmant und komfortabel.

Die Betreuung (Freigetränk) während ich auf mein Zimmer warten musste. Komfort war in Ordnung.

Ich hatte eine späte Anreise, das "reservierte" Zimmer war leider nicht bezugsfertig und nicht gereinigt.... Die Parkmöglichkeiten in einem sehr veralteten engen Parkhaus.

Zimmer war ruhig, groß und gut beleuchtet, das Bett war bequem. Gut auch, dass es 2 Kissen zur Auswahl gab. Trotz der Unannehmlichkeiten (s.u.) war der Aufenthalt ganz passabel, dafür aber dann zu teuer.

Außer dem Wirtsehepaar war das Personal nicht sehr zuvorkommend. Das Einchecken mithilfe eines Briefumschlages ist ziemlich blöd, wenn doch gleichzeitig die Rezeption besetzt ist. Rezeption fühlte sich für neue Gäste nicht zuständig. Kein warmes Wasser im Waschbecken (wurde trotz Reklamation nicht behoben). Geringer Wasserdruck im Bad, Duschkopf defekt.

Sehr gute Lage. Schöene Räumlichekeit für grosses Frühstückl Gutes Lokal im Haus.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht gestimmt. Etwas zu teuer und im Zimmer und den Fluren eher "wenig Flair fuer ein Flair Hotel".

Die Lage ist sehr gut, ebenso das Frühstück.

Etwas spießig und unflexibel, dass man als Hotelgast an einem Samstag Abend trotz besten Wetters keinen Wein mehr auf der Terrasse des Restaurants bekommt, finde ich sehr unerfreulich und wenig dienstleistungsoroentiert.

Saubere Zimmer, bequeme Betten, freundliches Personal, schöner und stilistischer Frühstücksraum mit Aussenbereich und leckerem & nahrhaftem Frühstück haben den Aufenthalt sehr schön gemacht

Frühstück war lecker. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist SUPER!!!

Sehr nette Gastgeber und ein sehr ausgewogenes, bio-basierendes Frühstücksbuffet. Auch das Restaurant Angebot war mal nicht das übliche, sondern auch sehr biolastig, sehr schmackhaft und in einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Im ehemaligen Rathausgebäude Zentral und ruhig gelegenes Hotel, sauber, sehr freundliche und entspannte Gastgeber und sehr gutes Frühstück. Der Check-In ist etwas ungewöhnlich im ersten Moment, wenn man zu früh anreist, da zunächst der Empfang nicht besetzt ist. Wir konnten nach einem kurzen Telefonat freundlicherweise eine Stunde früher das Zimmer beziehen. Das Hotel bietet vieles via Online-Services an, was booking.com leider im Vorfeld nicht an uns weitergereicht hatte, z.B. Meldebogen, Check-In, Zimmertür öffnen, Nutzung Albcard etc. - Liebes booking-Team, bitte verbessert Euren Service an dieser Stelle! Unser Dank geht hiermit nochmals an den freundlichen Herrn an der Hotelrezeption.

Keine hauseigenen Parkplätze, dafür ein sehr preiswertes (dafür etwas enges) Parkhaus gleich nebenan.

Saubere, zweckmäsige Zimmer ein Kühlschrank fehlt leider. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ansprechend und von guter Qualität. Der Selbstcheck-in und die Türöffner über die App verliefen einwandfrei. Nur 1 Stern Abzug aufgrund des Preises und des fehlenden persönlchen Services.

The hotel was nice although the restaurant was not open when we arrived at 5pm on a Monday. The town had limited dinning options for dinner. It was a very quiet town. Getting back to Stuggart was a production bc the train station was closed due to construction.

Der digitale Schlüssel ist eine gute Lösung.

Das Zimmer war sehr abgewohnt. Bett hat geqietscht, die Möbelkanten waren alle beschädigt und das Bad war zwar geputzt, aber "schmuddelig" (Fugen uralt, Spiegel an den Rändern korrodiert, Waschbecken verschlissen...). Die Backwaren am Frühstück waren billigste Aufbackwaren. Alles in Allem kein angemessener Zustand für ca. €79,- pro Person pro Nacht.

Arrived just after 10pm when reception was closed. When I rang the doorbell, spoke to two staff , one of the staff which I think was the owner three times and was made to wait outside in freezing cold for nearly an hour.

El hotel está descuidado, el elevador no funciona, tuvimos que subir tres pisos con maletas. El desayuno es escaso, ponen muy poco de todo. El restaurante de la tarde es muy rico, pero muy caro. La habitación familiar es muy espaciosa y cómoda, pero sin elevador es muy cansado subir y bajar los tres pisos!

Schönes Hotel, freundlicher Empfang Empfehlenswert! Das einzige Problem, keine Parkmöglichkeit vor Ort und die Stadt bietet ein fürchterliches Erlebnis mit einem Parkhaus wo moderne (große) Fahrzeuge fast ohne Beschädigung nicht rein und raustreten können. Parken auf der Straße geht nur 2 Stunde ab 8:00

The location of the Hotel is right in the heart of the old historic small town. The room was very clean and quiet - no noise from the street (pedestrian zone). I had an excellent dinner at the Hotel restaurant. The breakfast selection was rich. Cheap indoor Parking nearby.

The property is a bit shabby. No parking on site. I had to call the number on the reservation to get into the hotel. No one was at reception when we arrived, only an envelope with my name on it taped on it. There was no WELCOME GIFT as was stated in the confirmation. We were awakened all night long with heavy trucks going by. At 7 am a construction company blasted noise waking us up. We finally me the staff at check out. Not impressed!! First bad experience using Orbitz.

We had a lovely stay while exploring the Bad Urach area. The staff were very nice and our family room was spacious with great bunk beds for the kids. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful space. The only downside was it was quite hot during our visit and the room didn't have good air circulation. A fan would have made this much more comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a little different with the reception desk not available when we arrived. When the desk was available, the staff was very helpful!

Hotel céntrico, viejo, nunca reformado. Dos días antes de la estancia me informan de que no dan desayunos y que no abren el restaurante. Tampoco está nadie en recepción y solo a petición expresa te limpian la habitación (antigua y sin reformar). Precio elevado para el tipo de hotel y el servicio nulo que ofrecen. Ponen como excus, la situación actual del Covid cuando el resto de hoteles de la misma población ofrecían todos los servicios.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem angenehmen Familiären Charakter. Man fühlt sich wohl, man fühlt sich zu Hause, die Betreiber des Hotels kümmern sich ausgesprochen gut und liebevoll um die Gäste. Corona-Maßnahmen funktionieren gut und stören nicht weiter, liegt vieleicht auch daran, dass man sich schon daran gewöhnt hat. Der ganze Service im Hotel ist ganz nach meinem Geschmack, -Unkompliziert . Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen, zumindest bei mir nicht. Beim Frühstück und auch beim Abendessen wird Wert auf Regionale Produkte gelegt, das kann ich auch nur positiv bewerten. Zum Abendessen hatte ich mir Reh aus heimischer Jagd bestellt, eine gute Entscheidung, sehr schön angerichtet und sehr LECKER. Die Lage des Hotels im Zentrum der Altstadt, die nähe zum Marktplatz wo sich auch einige schöne Cafe´s befinden, einfach Super. Unterm Strich - für mich, war dieses Hotel, eine gute Entscheidung

Kontaktloser Check-in, sehr angenehm. Alles vorbereitet und unkompliziert.

Geen ontvangst. We stonden in donkere receptie. Uiteindelijk bleek er een envelop met keycard te liggen. Voelde niet welkom en je kon dus alleen maar naar kamer, verder was hotel niet toegankelijk. Wel bleef buitendeur lang open en dat voelde niet veilig. Verder was kamer basic, maar schoon. Ontbijt was aardig, maar door nieuw meisje moesten we om alles vragen. Toen ik om thee vroeg ipv koffie, ging ze navragen of dat wel kon. Later gaf iemand aan dat we ook sap of eieren mochten. Ik geef het hotel het voordeel van de twijfel en hebben we het gewoon niet getroffen, maar de ervaring was niet goed.

On arrival there was nobody at the reception, only an envelop with our keys inside. Breakfast was miserable for a 3 star hotel : nearly no choice, so poor in quality. The room was of good quality, with good sound-proofing and comfortable bed.

We spent one night here. The hotel is centrally located in the historic section of Bad Urach. Parking is available (for a very reasonable fee) in a parking garage nearby by. Our room (241) was very spacious, pleasantly decorated, immaculately clean, with a small seating area. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were very fluffy to look at but very flat when you put your head on them. Breakfast was tasty. Service was very good. All in all a great place to stay.

Check in and check out was ignoring, took a long time due private phone calls of the staff and long discussion with another guest wich they couldn't find his reservation, room was clean good equipped but didn't got the room that I booked, booked a room 24 SQmtr but the room was max 16-18SQmtr, location was perfect,

Close to Metzingen shopping. A medium level hotel in smaller village, unfortunately overpriced due to exhibition. Parking secure and good close by, note parking house close 9pm. Also kitchen close 9pm.. Dinner (potatoe soup) not great.. breakfast quite poor, cold egg n bacon, served cold cappucino. My room was large, bathroom huge. Nice balcony door, but weeds/grass outside could have bern nicer. Service trying but not really succeeding, sorry to say. One other guest asked for extra pillow, was told not available!

Günstiges Parken im Parkhaus nebenan, WLAN so gut wie nicht funktionsfähig, bequemes Bett, kleines Bad, ruhiges Zimmer zur Fußgängerzone.

Hotel was just fine, just basic services. You dont suffer from services, it is fine. However, since i missed deadline to cancel my last night reservation (my 4th night) by 2 hours, and i tried to cancel it 5 days before last night reservation, i couldnt do it online and i have been informed to call hotel. What did hotel do ? They have sent me email that they canceled it. But in fact they didnt, and i learned that while i was checking out. I am charged for the last night too with just a very very little discount. They are insistently telling me to change it online while hotels.com tells me to call hotel.

Not bad for 1 night

Had a great stay here. The staff was helpful, the location is central and nice. The food was diverse and good. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the view was pleasant. Definitely a place to revisit. One potential inconvenience was the church clock, but it's ok if you close the windows while the bell rings :)

the hotel is an old building in the centre of teh town . so is romantic and classic but not really good if you want easy andefficent stay. not early morning check out or breakfast. no easy parking. so nothing really wrong , breakfast is also wide and good and people are very nice.

I stayed here with a number of colleagues on business and to summarise, it isn't great. Firstly, the hotel has no parking so we parked in a nearby multi - storey overnight which cost 3.50 Euros. One point to note if you are driving - the town is a nightmare to navigate with a car. The hotel is very traditionally German styled (like most of the town) and does look very quaint from the outside. The reception area is also quite pleasant however I stayed in a single room which was about as unique and charming as a shop stockroom (that was what I thought the room once was). The room was very light with a very glossy, battered wooden floor with a single bed and a chair and table scattered round the edges, Not cosy in he slightest. On the positive side however, the restaurant is very good with a wide range of choice on the menu. We all commented how good the food was. One annoyance however, when we finished our meals the waitress delivered to us each a glass of Baileys, which we didn't ask for and we assumed was complimentary, however I didn't realise until after I got home and saw the breakdown of my receipt that my drink had been added to the invoice! Not impressed. According to the website this is supposedly a three and a half star hotel which staggers me, I would have said this is at best a borderline three star. The fact that according to Trip Advisor this is the no.1 ranked hotel in Bad Urach shows the town is in desparate need of a decent chain hotel nearby with its own parking, I'm sure the business travellers at least will appreciate it!

This is not a top hotel but it is clean and service is friendly. Location is fine in the Swabian hills, close to many natural places to be discovered. Restaurant is basic but rather cheap. Breakfast is OK.

Introduced to the receptionist by the headmaster of the commercial school that was renamed after my grand father, Georg Goldstein. She and her cousin were former pupils there. Pleasantly surprised to find a lift In an old building so that taking luggage up to our rooms was easy. The restraunt was cosy with tables in separate areas so that in gave a feeling of intimacy. Good choice of local food and I especially liked the plum dessert. The rooms had old style furniture including a useful desk and wardrobe. Glad for the house phone to contact by brother, cousin and nephew who all had separate rooms. The only disturbance was when drunks yelled at 5am in the street outside. Not the Hotel's fault. The buffet breakfast was sumptious with a range of bread and rolls, cooked food and fruit salad etc. Nothing was lacking and the waitress was keen to practice her English on us.
