Riad 5 sens

We felt like home in the Riad 😀 Achraf our host made us feel like family , he was very communicative along our holiday, he helped us a lot how to navigate in the city and organised all the excursions we participated. The Riad is just a short stroll to the tourist attractions. Very cosy building with the inner courtyard , rooftop terrace and a pool 😀😀

Nothing

Great and cosy Riad for our stay in Marrakesh. Felt worlds away from the busy souks; yet close enough so that walking to the main square through the souks was only 20 mins. Looks beautiful with all the lights, all the rooms are comfy, breakfast is great but what made this was the staff. We met the owner who was extremely friendly and every member of staff was ace but Ashraf was a particularly good host. Always keen to help with a smile, offer tea/coffee, act as a guide, we even watched the Champions League final together in one of the living rooms - this place truly felt like home thanks to all the staff, the environment and Ashraf. Thank you.

Fantastic staff and a quiet location. You are treated like family by everyone. Sofian the owner and his staff are friendly, helpful and engaging. We had a great time and definitely recommend Riad 5 Sens.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad 5 Sens!!! The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. From the delicious breakfasts each morning to the exceptional hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the Medina, making it easy to explore Marrakech. The rooms were beautiful, very authentic, and the rooftop was a lovely place to relax. A special mention to Achraf, who was incredibly kind and attentive, he truly made our stay unforgettable. We would 100% recommend staying here and will definitely return if we’re ever back in Marrakech. 5 stars!!!!

The whole experience at Riad 5Sens was superb. The room, the whole atmosphere and all facilities were fantastic. Breakfast on the terrace upstairs was great and the food was amazing. The Staff were particularly nice, in particular Achraf, who was extremely helpful and was always there with advice and assistance. We can not recommend this Road highly enough. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Nada,, Zilch, zero!!!

Semmai dovessimo tornare a Marrakesh sappiamo dove alloggeremo.

Beautiful riad in perfect location for the souks. Amazing breakfast and fantastic staff. Very comfortable.

everything was perfect especially the staff

Friendly staff and good breakfast

No TV🥺

The team—Sofian, Yusuf, Mariam, Ashraf, and Ersel were such a delight. They hosted us so well and made us feel at home throughout our stay

Amazing property in the heart of the Medina! Even though it was in a busy area, the space actually felt private and quiet. The staff were all amazing. Loved the breakfast. Sofian is amazing and so accommodating. Rooms were very clean.

Na

The riad has a beautiful traditional design and the central courtyard creates a nice atmosphere. The location is technically very central, making it easy to reach the main attractions once you are out exploring.

Access to the riad is extremely difficult. There is no direct car or taxi access, no clear signage outside, and finding the property feels like navigating a maze, especially on arrival with luggage. This was quite stressful and not clearly explained in advance. While the photos online look very impressive, the reality is quite different. The property feels tired in many areas and not well maintained, with several things not functioning as expected. Our room was particularly disappointing. There was no proper lock on the door, only a padlock, and part of the door did not lock at all, which made us feel uncomfortable from a security point of view. There was also a noticeable gap in the door, meaning you could hear everything from the courtyard. Guests smoking in the courtyard meant smoke was coming into the room, which was unpleasant. Due to these issues, we ended up changing hotels for the last two nights of our stay, which was very inconvenient.

We’ve just returned from Riad 5 Sense and had the most wonderful stay – I can’t recommend it highly enough! I’ve stayed in many places, but the hospitality here was truly exceptional. Sofian and Ashraf went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfasts were beautiful and delicious, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the entire riad smelled absolutely amazing. Very clean. It really felt like a home away from home ❤️ If we return, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second – I’d book Riad 5 Sense again straight away. Sofian and Ashraf also gave us some fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, all of which were a big hit. Thank you so much for taking such great care of us – we absolutely loved our stay!

Devoir repartir

We had an incredible and truly authentic experience at this beautiful Riad. While the building itself is stunning, what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. They treated my son like royalty, or better yet, like family. He called them his 'friends' and spent hours playing with them. Their genuine affection and kindness made our trip so much more special. The Riad is architecturally beautiful and very traditional. We loved the heated pool (a huge hit with my son!), and they even provided water pistols and balls for him to play with. The food was delicious and authentic, giving us a real taste of Moroccan culture. Our room was extremely comfortable, with a great bed, perfect AC, and plenty of storage space. From the dreamy rooftop terrace with its cozy sofas to the thoughtful gestures, like packing us breakfast for early tours and constantly providing bottled water, every detail was covered. They even helped us navigate the Medina with our luggage to the taxi. We left with our hearts full. Highly recommended!

Riad 5 Sens is a little oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the souks and the Medina. Once inside, the atmosphere is calm, comfortable, and beautifully welcoming—exactly what you want after a day navigating Marrakech’s energy. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning, with generous portions and genuinely great coffee. The whole environment feels thoughtfully cared for, making it easy to relax and settle in. A special shout‑out to Achraf, the manager. Although new to the role, he is incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. Communication throughout the stay was excellent, and he made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you’re looking for a peaceful base with standout hospitality, Riad 5 Sens is a fantastic choice.

Location, decor, ambiance, breakfast, coffee and Moroccan tea!

.

Nice, quiet location

Would have liked somewhere to sit in the bedroom

Beautiful riad in the perfect location to explore the medina! We loved everything about our stay - the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast on the roof terrace was the perfect start to the day and the riad is only a 5 minute walk away from some of Marrakesh's main attractions. Despite its central location the riad is quiet so that you will get a good night's sleep. Whenever we came back to the riad after exploring the city, we were greeted by freshly made Moroccan tea - I already miss it!

The Riad 5 Sens is like a little sanctuary of peace and tranquillity in the beautiful chaos of the Medina and the Souks. Everything to visit is very nearby. We walked everywhere and with the help of google maps and maps off line always found our way back to the Riad. Achraf is totally superb - his contact pre arriving was welcomed and he helped with taxis to and from the airport. He was always available to help us anytime we needed help with things like top tips for being in Marrakech and navigating around. The breakfast is superb and would definitely recommend.

The room did have a slight damp smell which means the whole of my case contents need to be washed even if not worn. However I appreciate why this is the case and just part of the ambience of the traditional Riad.

Location was a new experience for us but we got over the apprehension the minute we entered the property. Very cozy and definitely a pleasurable experience which we will be back for. The breakfast was also very great with a different variety every day. And the manager, Achraf was AWESOME!!

This Riad is beautiful! We met with the owner and Achraf upon arrival. Achraf was available throughout our stay whenever we needed him. He made sure that we knew where everything was and answered any of our questions. He definitely went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The room we stayed in was also beautiful and the location was super convenient. Definitely recommend this location if you’re visiting Marrakesh.

Can’t think of anything!

We had a fantastic stay in the old the Medina. The riad was beautifully decorated with a truly authentic feel, and the location couldn’t have been better (walking distance to the hustle and bustle) . The staff were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with excursions, restaurant recommendations, and directions. A special thanks to Achraf and Youssef for their outstanding service you both really made our stay memorable. Thank you!

Przemiły właściciel dbajacy o każdy szczegół naszego pobytu, zawsze proponujący wspaniałą miętową herbatę i miłą rozmowę. Polecam serdecznie.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riad 5 Sens in Marrakech. The riad itself is stunning, featuring beautiful traditional architecture that has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. From the moment you step inside, you are embraced by a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel instantly comfortable. Sofian and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They were always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. On two occasions, we had to leave early for tours, and they were kind enough to prepare and serve us breakfast ahead of time, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious Moroccan specialties. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day exploring the city. The rooftop is beautiful and a perfect place to unwind, while the heated pool adds an extra touch of luxury. Honestly, I would return to Marrakech just to stay at this riad again. Highly recommended!

Struttura meravigliosa. Stanza pulitissima. Colazione abbondante e buonissima. Il proprietario di una gentilezza unica.

Assolutamente nulla.

Sofían was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond making sure we had the perfect stay. Would highly recommend - wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing stay - everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best!!

A wonderful experience staying in a riad in the heart of the Medina. The host was extremely kind, very hospitable and always available for any request or information, as well as happy to share insights about Moroccan traditions. The staff was always friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful and perfectly located to explore the Medina. An experience we would absolutely recommend

This Riad was so beautiful and Sofian was very welcoming! He made us feel at home and had great communication. Our room & location was perfect, I’d 100% recommend this riad!

Hôtes très sympathique, très beau Riad, bien placé.

Velmi prijemy, vstricny a pratelsky pristup vsech v ubytovani.

Beautiful property. Comfortable, clean rooms. Breakfast. Everything is walkable. Sofian is an amazing host. He is warm, attentive and available. He was kind to share his dinner the day I arrived because I was late. Will definitely recommend and come back
