The staff is friendly, naturally beautiful. The chalet was even more beautiful in person. Great value for money.

The flies were an annoyance, they must look into pest control.

My recent stay was unfortunately disappointing and did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we immediately experienced issues with the Wi-Fi connection, which was extremely poor. This became a major inconvenience, as I was unable to complete work, this directly affecting my productivity. In addition to the connectivity problems, the room itself was not in a satisfactory condition. There were flies everywhere, to the point where we had to spend time trying to get rid of them before we could even settle in. It was quite uncomfortable, and we ended up sitting outside while dealing with the situation. We reported both the Wi-Fi issue and the condition of the room to management. While they did move us to another unit, the replacement was of a lower standard than what we had originally booked and paid for. What made this more frustrating was the lack of clear communication—no one informed us upfront about the difference in value. It was only the following day, after we made a point to ask, that we were told the new unit was cheaper and that we would receive a refund for the difference. However, it has now been almost five days, and we have yet to receive that refund. Overall, the experience was not pleasant. While the effort to move us was appreciated, better communication, timely resolution of issues, and improved room conditions would have made a significant difference.

The bar closes at 8pm sharp with no warning, and dont ask for a drink at 8:05pm and no proper filter coffee anywhere.

The food was amazing compliments of the chef. The dinning erea was also beautifully laid out, would definitely visit again.

On the outside it is a beautiful place right in the bush, surrounded by nature with mountains and all.

Flies. That was the worse part about the property. Flies were there at night, in the morning and during the day it was not a great experience at all even with the doom being there. The food was not that good either. We didn’t like how just behind our room the staff was sitting near the room and you could hear them talk, laughing and all. This was through out our stay. This was meant to be a quiet peaceful retreat but we had to hear people in the morning and during the day chilling outside our room chat and watching TikTok videos

Wi-Fi in the luxury room didn't have great reception but that did not bother so much because we needed quiet time. The flies in our room were too around the couch area

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Lage und Blick ins Tal, wo sogar Baboons und Antilopen zu sehen sind. Tolles Zelt-Apartment, hervorragendes Essen und außergewöhnlich herzliches, aufmerksames Personal. Der General Manager nahm sich viel Zeit für Gespräche, und sogar ein Frühstückspaket für meine frühe Abreise wurde vorbereitet – rundum perfekt.“

Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Hotel mit tollem Zelt- bzw. Glamping-Konzept. Alles ist auf sehr hohem Niveau und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Wenn man überhaupt etwas anmerken möchte, wäre eine zusätzliche Beleuchtung am Badezimmerspiegel hilfreich. Ansonsten ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt.

Check in with Ethel was top notch, extremely friendly and informative! She arranged a romantic set up for our anniversary at no extra cost, and made my wife feel truly special on entering the room. - thank you Ethel! Points :) All the staff, from Boss Jaco, Chef Jaco, Porsche and George made our stay feel like home, service and friendliness rated 12/10. Mapule on the sundowner experience was really friendly and helpful in setting up the picnic, with a very contagious laugh :) thank you. Treatments at the spa was very relaxing, staff made us feel very welcome.

Wifi in the luxury room didn't have great reception (not too bothered but maybe a factor for some other guest Staff presenting the wine tasting can do with some training :)

The room was clean and stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The room was quiet, with privacy. Since it was my wife’s birthday, I paid for a special touch and found petals on the bed. The shower had good pressure with hot water… loved it. The staff were very friendly. Had a lovely spa treatment.

The leather couch seemed to have been attracting flies. There just too many of them on the couch area. We ordered dinner room service and had breakfast at the restaurant and the food wasn’t great to be quite honest.

The quietness and peace. The friendly and hands on staff. I didn’t feel like I was alone. They assisted me with pictures, navigation and booking all my activities as well as my add ons.

The property is fine but the food was not nice. Nothing special about it and I didn’t like the spices used. The menu is limited. The spa ladies were not available. But we enjoyed our cottage and I like that the staff is always available to help

It’s a nice city escape but not too far. It’s aesthetically pleasing, clean and the views are amazing. I also enjoyed the spa treatment.

The property was perfect but it was super cold and we weren’t provided with a gas heater. We also didn’t get to use the hot tub because it never heated up. The fire was started a bit late. The food wasn’t great at all especially the seafood pasta it’s like they use those frozen seafood mixes.

The location was good with beautiful views. The made sure that our outside jacuzzi was always warm, which was much appreciated during our stay.

Staff was exceptional, from the gentleman that welcomed us, to the restaurant team and the lady that took us on a game drive. The room had a stunning view and we appreciated the romantic set up and picnic. Can't wait to visit again for an extended break.

Electricity went off at 19:30 for the whole night until the next morning at 07:00. Woke up to extremely cold bathing water but that was fixed quickly.

Firstly, our accommodation was changed to a luxury villa, a gesture that we will forever appreciate. The villa offered us a beautiful scenery. The landscape, wildlife and more importantly, the sunset.

Flies were a bit of a nuisance.

Honestly everything about that place is perfect. Peace & quite. Mountains, the spacious rooms and the restuarant deck takes the trophy.

The unit I stayed in was clean and spacious!! The staff was super friendly and quick to respond! As a solo traveler, I felt safe and enjoyed the experience!

Not much tbh, if they could have more breakfast options, that would be great. Also be mindful of the fact that there are many flies but they provide doom and insect repellent

We had a management upgrade to the Luxury cottage, it was amazing... The hot tub was amazing as well. It was a beautiful relaxed anniversary weekend. We loved it...

The hot tub outside was just magnificent. The food was tasty, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself is really beautiful.

The fireplace in the room doesn't generate much heat. Looks great but isn't very effective.

The area was nice and tranquil. Very nice units that are comfortable and have almost everything you need! The aesthetic of the place is doing 80% of the work for them.

- There were flies almost all over the property. -The shower water was inconsistent. It'd be extremely hot and then extremely cold without even touching the tap. -Breakfast was very basic, we had the same spread everyday. They can definitely do better.

Die Lage ist wunderschön. Total in der Natur& doch nur wenige Minuten bis man wieder zur Hauptstrasse kommt. Auch das Restaurant.. sehr gutes Essen, der Garten, der Pool gepflegt, mit Liebe gemacht..speziell und einzigartig. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein....frische Eierspeisen, Fruchtsalat( super lecker)Toastbrot, Cerealien, Salami & Cheddar.. Butter war salzig, Konfiture habe ich nicht gesehen.. Mein Chalet war top.. 10 Punkte.

Ein freundlicherer ( jaaa ,ich freue mich auf meine Gäste)Audruck des Manager's hötte ich mir gewünscht.. Etwas mehr Einsatz im Service beim Dinner. Der Hot Tube war zu heiss.. konnte ihn nicht benutzen.

The staff and chef's service was 5-star. The dinner was amazing. The menu. especially breakfast is good for a weekend stay. We appreciated that they were creative with breakfast as we were booked for 4 nights. Sunset experience was beautiful, it's a pity mother Nature interrupted. The hottub was amazing, but prepare to pay extra R100 wood and firelighters after the 1st night.

Chalets needs major upgrades. Sewage smell from the bathroom after taking a shower or flashing made our stay unpleasant. It needs urgent attention The bathtub needs to be changed. Unfinished plastering or painting in the bathroom.

Views, the safari drive, the rooms were okay

Bar fridge didn’t work. We only got house keeping once, after having to ask for it. We were then only informed housekeeping is done during breakfast, hubby and I skipped breakfast first day so no one came. We didn’t get housekeeping for the entire 4 days even after requesting this multiple times. The male owner is also very arrogant - rude. Basically said I didn’t pay for an activity that I paid for two weeks in advance and when I showed him proof he just said “oh” … after screaming on the phone to his staff “she DIDNT PAY” and he didn’t know they had him on speaker, he’s entire approach was off.

The place is so breath taking😍. I really enjoyed my stay. Wish to visit again
