Everything at Provalma speaks of quality, attention to detail, and makes you want to stay. You get the feeling of being genuinely looked after, from the first transfer from the port until the (unwanted!) moment you have leave, thanks to the kindness and discretion of the family who runs the place. The apartments are well equipped with everything you need and are very functional. The breakfast served in a basket is a lovely touch. The pool, with its beautiful views from different angles, is a real highlight, especially on an island where you may not spend the whole day at the beach. We really grew attached to the place and will definitely come back.

Provalma is a perfect hotel! The room was beautiful, spacious and ideally located, and had a beautiful view. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose Provalma again next time we visit Folegandros.

I can't spend enough good words about this place. It's absolutely gorgeous, perfectly kept, fits the Greek island vibe as a whole, and the staff has been the nicest, kindest bunch of people. The rooms are lovely, spacious and comfortable, beds are perfect. Breakfast is ordered the day before and served at your room the morning after. Food was great. Yiannis and the other owner were incredibly available and kind. The location is arguably one of the best outside of the Chora, the view is simply breathtaking over the entire island.

There is not one thing I can say against this place, it deserves all of the positive comments and more. Just as an advice: you will 100% need your own transportation. Yiannis picked us up to and from the hotel, but throughout your stay I highly advise to have a car/scooter at hand to reach the place and the beaches around it.

We stayed 4 nights at Provalma in Folegandros and had an amazing experience. The view is truly outstanding, one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, even picking us up from the harbor and driving us back at the end of our stay, which we really appreciated. Breakfast is a real highlight: it’s served directly in your room, with a wide variety of options, many of which are homemade. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The room itself was spotless, with impeccable cleanliness throughout our stay. Overall, this is a place we would absolutely love to return to.

The only downside was that the swimming pool is not heated, the water was quite cold during our stay.

Die Lage ist toll! Das Frühstück stellt man über eine Listenauswahl selbst zusammen und wird zum gewünschten Zeitpunkt in einem Korb im Appartement serviert, sehr schön angerichtet, frische Produkte in bester Qualität! Das Appartement ist offen gestaltet und geräumig, von der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichem Ausblick auf die Küste und das Meer. Alles sehr ansprechend und gepflegt und absolut sauber. Die Gastgeber waren bezaubernd und bieten einen Shuttle-Service. Wenn man gerne ein wenig zu Fuß zu den Buchten und Stränden unterwegs ist, benötigt man kein Mietfahrzeug.

Man kann vor dem Appartement auf einer kleinen Terrasse frühstücken, es fehlt aber der Sonnenschutz.

Provalma is an exceptional place to stay. There is absolutely nothing about it that I could fault-everything from the setting, the view, the rooms, the cleanliness and the staff were absolutely perfect. It was the most wonderful place to stay-we felt relaxed and happy there and would love to come back. We will recommend it to everyone who is thinking of a Greek island holiday.

I travel a lot and usually have very high standards when it comes to where I stay — Provalma Suites met them 100%. This is a beautiful family-run hotel, and you can feel the difference right away. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They introduced themselves when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the whole place felt peaceful and well cared for. They also gave us great tips about what to see and do on the island, which really helped us enjoy our time there. What really stood out was how much they cared: when we had a problem with our car on a Sunday, they helped us find the right people to fix it — even though they didn’t have to. That kind of support means a lot when you’re far from home. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed, not just in Greece, but anywhere. I would absolutely come back.

Aleka came to pick us up at the port. The location is outstanding. The view from provalma puts you at piece with the world. So dramatic (in a nice way), you can't wake up in a bad mood with that view. Breakfast was great. The room tidy and clean (Luis cleans it everyday). There are only 5 rooms (I think), so it's a quiet and peaceful place. It's 4 km from the main town, but very close to a village with tasty restaurants and access to paths which lead down to the beach. I think we were in love with Folegandros and Provalma!

There is no food at the hotel (no kitchen).there are restaurants at 10 minutes walking distance, so it's not really a problem.

Excellent location on a quiet part of the island but easy to get to all the touristy places you may want to go. Lodging was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Views are jaw dropping.

Provalma in Ano Meria was a beautiful location to settle in for a few days on Folegandros. The room was equipped with a small kitchen & items necessary to cook & make coffee. We were served breakfast in our room each morning that consisted of choices we made from their menu of mostly cold items like yogurts, cereal, fruit, cold cuts, cheese. Boiled egg, savory pastry, fresh OJ, milk & coffee were served as well. Beach towels & separate pool towels were provided. The views were beautiful with the ability to see both sides of the island/sea… though we were unable to see the sunsets from this location. A free pickup & return to the port were both provided. A car/scooter is needed to explore or go to restaurants.

Just perfect!!! Provalma was the most stunning accommodation on our Greece Vacation. We visited different islands and we came only to Folegrandos because we found Provalma on booking. The pictures looked so magnificent that we wanted to give it a try. Yiannis and his mother are very welcoming and they are giving their guest just a perfect stay. We liked that the pickup from the port is already included and you will get already all the info you need on the way to the apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful designed, clean, fresh and you can see that Yiannis and his mother know what they are doing. We loved Folgegrandos with their simple and good restaurants, less tourists and very authentic locals. Also the beach which is next to Provalma is very beautiful. But back to the apartment: Yiannis and his mother offer the most delicious breakfast with homemade everything and you can choose everything you like. In combination with the most amazing view from the terrace it felt truly like heaven. We just dreamed of just staying there forever. But definitely we'll come back. Thank you so much!! Our stay at Provalma was exceptional. Yiannis picked us up from the harbor when our ferry arrived. We stayed in the Geronimos room, which was sufficiently large for our 4 night stay. The views from the room and hotel are breathtaking, where you can see the sea on both sides of the island (North and South) from the room. Breakfast is served directly to your room terrace, based on your pre-selection. The breakfast was very good quality, especially the home made jams and bread. The island is small, and we reached everywhere with a quadbike.

I stayed at Provalma for three nights at the end of September. Everything was fantastic - one of the best places I’ve been to and for very reasonable prices. The accommodation was spacious, stylish and practical. The views from my apartment (and other parts of Provalma) were spectacular. They must be some of the best views on this beautiful island. It was a privilege to be able to sit on the terrace enjoying breakfast and to look out on the views, or to watch the sunset. The overall hospitality was excellent. From the pick up/drop off, to wholesome breakfasts, to the fact that everything has been so well thought through (everything just “works”!) to the sheer friendliness of the hosts. Folegandros is hilly, and there was only one restaurant open to speak of in the local village. Both of these points can be solved by car hire or organised use of the local bus network. It is a small beautiful and unspoilt island. This along with the excellent experience of Provalma meant that I was fortunate to enjoy such an authentic and memorable trip. Thank you Provalma for making it so special!

There was a spectacular view towards the white-walled, hill top town of Choa and of the sea on both sides from the carefully positioned chairs outside our room. At night it also provides a magnificent view of the stars. An excellent breakfast is served in your room by Yannis, the friendly, knowledgeable owner. He can collect you from the port area on arrival. Ask him about any aspect of the island and wider area, especially if you are a wine lover. He is passionate about Greece's wines and keeps a selection that are available to guests. Ideally, you need a car to explore but there is a bus stop nearby and three restaurants are a comfortable walk away although keep in mind you are in the hills and the Meltemi winds which can sweep through the islands. A very reasonably-priced taxi can easily be booked to run you to Chora or down to nearby Agali beach which has three restaurants. It is the launch point of boats to other nearby beaches, including Agios Nikolaos where there is an excellent seafood restaurant - at night they will send their own boat that will pick you up and then drop you off. The property is small and intimate, it has its own well-maintained pool with terrace overlooking a stunning view.
