The location is perfect. It's close to Vathy harbor. My family and I stayed in a split room with a sea view. It was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms have air conditioning, an oven, and a kettle. I rented a car from the hotel's partner car rental company. They bring the car directly to the hotel and you leave it there. There's a bar by the pool. The prices are reasonable.

Temizlik cok iyi, konumu cok iyi hem havuz alternatifi var hem de gagau beach cok yakin. Hem plaja hem de carsiya istenildiginde rahatca yurunebilmektedir. Ayrica limana da yurumek cok rahat. Ozellikle suit odalarin manzarasindan daha iyi bir manzara yoktur diye dusunuyorum Vathyde.

Bloklar kademeli oldugu ocin asansor bulunmamaktadir. Yasi buyuk olanlar icin sorun olabilir.

It was close to a fantastic beach that had bar service and cheap sun-beds, and a hotel right next door. Pool was great and there was a fabulous bar.

29 steps to get to reception (we knew there was no lift but didn’t know about entry. Pool and bar both had very limited hours of operation and they wanted €3 for the key to use the room safe!!

Odamizın geniş balkonu, manzarasi, jakuzisi, mobilyaları ve şezlongları ile muhtesemdi. Gin batimini balkondan izlemek harikaydi. Calisanlar guler yuzlu ve yardim sever. Havuzu ve bari ile harika bir otel.

Otelin konumu çok iyiydi, şehir merkezine 20 dk yürüme mesafesindedir. Odaları yeterli büyüklükteydi. Temizdi. Çalışanlar ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü.

Böyle bir otelde en azından gelen misariflere bir kahve ikramı olmalıydı. Odalara sadece 1 adet su koymuşlar. Ayrıca kahvaltı fiyatı çok yüksekti.

The location is great! The staff gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and beaches. They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple and nice. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed having a lovely balcony.

No curtains in our bedroom (that were completely translucent), so the light comes through at 5am. Otherwise, it was great!!

De appartementen geven een prachtig uitzicht over de baai van Gagou beach en een zeer mooie zonop- en ondergang. Wij zaten in een luxe appartement kamer 34 op de bovenste verdieping. Dit is wel 90+ treden elke dag dus niet aanbevolen voor mindervalide personen. De schoonmaak vd appartement is dagelijks en de hygiëne was perfect. De luxe appartementen hebben naast de jacuzzi ook een fantastische multifunctionele douche. Zowel in de slaapkamer als woonkamer is er een airco. De slaapbank kan ook opgedeeld worden in twee aparte 1-persoonsbedden en dat was eigenlijk wel ideaal met oudere tieners. Tweepersoonsbed in de slaapkamer sliep heerlijk. Het zwembad is prima voor verkoeling en op het strand, een korte wandeling vanaf het hotel kon je ook prima zwemmen en snorkelen. Er waren altijd wel bedjes beschikbaar. Continentaal ontbijt - meer dan genoeg. En het personeel is erg behulpzaam. Samos stad is leuk en voldoende restaurants.

Ik miste bacon en de croissants waren erg klein.

Ganz tolles Haus. Alles schön, vom Pool über die Lage, das Frühstück, das tolle Apartment, der wunderschöne Blick, die Ruhe……einfach alles!!

Tesis Samos’la geldiğimiz en temiz ve yeni otellerden biri çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü yardımsever biz aile odasında kaldık mutfağında her şey vardı klimalar yeniydi. banyo mutfak ve oda hem yeni hem de tertemizdi.havuzu da çok temizdi . Çıkışta valizlerimizi bir odaya koyup feribot saatine kadar otelin imkanlarından kullanmamıza izin verdiler. kahvaltıyı almadık onun için o konu da yorum yapamam fakat aile odasında mutfakta kahvaltı için tüm imkanlar vardı.Otel gagau beache 100 metre mesafe de gitgel ve çok kolay.

Otelde tek eksi şey odaya gitmek için çok fazla merdiven inip çıkıyoruz ..o da çok fazla artı yönü olduğu için çok önemli gelmiyor

Only downfall was the stairs and carrying luggage up & down.

We loved our stay at the Anthemis hotel apartments. We had a fantastic room with lovely balcony and great views. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable and sheets and towels changed on a regular basis. Lovely big bathroom with some toiletries provided, shower gel, shampoo etc. Good strong shower. The breakfast was very good and had all we wanted. The staff were all excellent, nothing too much trouble and everyone friendly and helpful which made our stay even better. The location was very good only a short walk into Samos town. Samos island is very beautiful, we did hire a bike to get around which for us was ideal or you can hire a car. This is our third visit to Samos our last visit approx 11 years ago. We will go back and would not hesitate to stay at the Anthemis again. Thank you all for making our holiday a great one.

Positives: We had a lovely time here, the staff, cleanliness and apartment all where to a very high standard. A short walk (downhill) to Samos town takes 15-20 minutes which is typically Greek, no loud night clubs or late opening bars, which was refreshing to see. We dined at a few restaurants, Welcome Taverna very good, but can get busy later on in the evening, best to eat there quite early. Al Forno Pizza/Pasta on the main square made the best Pizza's, there is a old school hole in the wall Gyros place on the square to, which the locals use, we tried the best gyros/pitta ever, our bill came to 17 Euros :). Zen on the Seafront is also very good, Moita on the way into Samos town was amazing. On the whole you will not hungry here, I digress, back to the Anthemis, the pool as mentioned on previous reviews does not open till 10am, and the sunbeds are quite limited on a busy day, so if you intend to spend a day poolside, you need to get there early to bag a couple of sunbeds which had a canopy . There were a few who put towels on beds and strolled off, so I took the towels off after a couple of hours, that kind of behaviour is just a selfish act but unfortunately some people are I guess .. So on the whole we had a lovely time, we were allocated room 39 at the very top, 121 steps to get there as there is no lift, however, the views and sunset were priceless and worth the hike up, and it burnt off the Feta, rooms were clean and modern, and we had the best night sleep, so peaceful. Negative: Only thing I can honestly say is, if you have mobility issues you would struggle here due to the steps to each apartment, plus I believe the Bar area should stay open into the evening for people to stop for a pre/post meal drink, it is a nice area that could really pay off as there aren't any bars/watering holes on the way down to samos town to stop off at, and maybe the pool could open earlier for those who like an early morning swim, would we return .. Yes we would but request a lower level apartment.

Like a lot of Greek properties built on a hillside, there are lots of steps. We were in a luxury apartment right at the top which mean climbing 90+ steps from the entrance. Due to the aspect, the Balcony of our apartment got full sun all afternoon and evening, so it gets very hot and there is insufficient shade.

The suite was lovely as the photos the view was amazing...the staff were helpful so far so good the pool also good. However there were a huge number of steps 97 to get to our accommodation and there didn't appear to be any warnings about this property being unsuited to elderly or persons with mobility problems. If my husband had understood the layout before booking he might have chosen a suite/room on a lower level with less steps . I think we were on the equivalent of the 5/6 floor. No lift only exterior stairs, I had had a heart attack last year and if I hadn't recovered well this would have been outside my fitness. We were also very disappointed by the breakfast offered. Poor ingredients It is not hard to get fresh bakery bread. Actual orange juice etc

Our 1st stay in Samos and we chose the Artemis hotel. Location is great for us, close to a supermarket and choice of beaches. The hotel is situated on a hillside and be prepared for the steps! Our room was 88 steps and the view was definitely worth it! Great views of Samos town and the sea in-front of the hotel, not so good for some guests who struggled with the steps. Rooms cleaned daily by the hard working staff. Lots of European guests who use the hotel with families so sunbeds can be an issue. We spent 1 day at pool and next at beach (sunbeds were €5 each for the day). Breakfast was plentiful with homemade bread and cakes daily. Pool bar was cheap and again excellent value for money. Bar closes at 6pm and pool at 7pm for cleaning.

The nicest apartment we have ever stayed in for a Greek holiday.the room cleanliness was amazing.we stayed at the very top apartment which had stunning views but also lots of very steep steps so unless you’re quite fit it wouldn’t suit.The breakfast was very good,coffee not so good.Some days we couldn’t get a sunbed by the pool area which was a little disappointing.Pool bar shut at 6 which we felt was too early as it would be a lovely area in the evening to have a cocktail or 2.the main reception was meant to take over the food and drink service from 6 until 9 ,the first night we arrived managed to get a few drinks although it was limited to cans of beer not draughts or bottles and a gyros which was tasty,unfortunately it felt like the lady didn’t want to be serving drinks or food.on the 2nd week we had been out all day and didn’t want to walk into town so ordered a beer and an ouzo which took 20 minutes to arrive even though there was only 1 other couple sat,when it came to food we were told food finished at 8.30 pm.we walked into town as we felt we were being a nuisance

Nice clean and modern hotel with good views on high floors . the kitchen area is good but basic no toaster or microwave. Lots and lots of steps to rooms . Iv given 3 stars because the pool area does not open until 10 am , There is a queue to get in, sun beds are good but there arnt many . There is a lovely seating area for drinks and snacks . The pool does lack atmosphere you can hear a pin drop it’s so quiet . Most beds get snapped up especially the ones with parasols and if you leave the pool area ie for lunch you have to take your towels (pool rules) which is strange as it’s self catering apartments? The walk from the hotel into town is very steep busy and narrow , pavements non existent with parked vehicles on both sides , I think that was the worst part , the hotel is way out of town and a steep walk back . The beach is not picturesque at all . I would highly recommend paradise beach or a visit to Kokkari. Samos town is nice in the evening with lots of restaurants, the welcome restaurant is good traditional Greek food also Pizza Napoli which is good value (our food was good .) Nice holiday visiting Samos but I don’t think I would return.

Lovely hotel - great location. Requested high floor apartment / thinking needed this for sea view - but needn’t of as all have sea views. Our room 39 was right at top so 113 steps - no lifts. Good exercise every day. Apartment was very comfortable and modern. Feature lighting and all recently refurbished to highest standard I have seen in Greece.

Family of 3 and it was just ideal for us. The room was spacious and it was great to have the kitchen with fridge etc The pool was lovely and the location was quiet and easy walkable access to the town centre, it took us only 20 mins to walk in, pretty level and pleasant.

Amazing hotel/apartment kept very clean by a friendly set of staff. Breakfast plenty of choice with a daily cake/desert . Reception team very knowledgeable and efficient . Location a little way out but an easy stroll to restaurants and shops. Would come back again most definitely . Thank you for a wonderful stay

Kahvaltı açık büfe değildi ve ekstra satın aldık. Büyük bir beklentiniz olmasın. Ancak yetersiz değildi. Sezon dışı gittiğimiz için bu konu ile ilgili net bilgiyi sezon içinde giden bir kişiden almak daha mantıklı.

Merdiven... Çocuk arabası ile gittik ve her seferinde onu odaya taşımak gerçekten yorucu oldu. Tesis merkeze yürüme mesafesi biraz uzak, aslında uzaklığından ziyade biraz yokuşta kalıyor bu yüzden araç kiralamak mantıklı olacaktır.

Everything was perfect for us. We went with baby, they are so kind, sea view was wonderful, everything was ready in our room, rooms and stuffs were very clean.

Apartment fabulous best bathroom ever for Greece. Views great. Lovely balcony. Kitchen only a hob to cook on, limited pans. Could do with a toaster and microwave. Location a long walk into town supermarkets nearby closed. Pool looks good haven’t been yet as weather not been good.
