Hampton Inn & Suites North Huntingdon-Irwin, PA

Friendly staff, accommodating, nice breakfasts

Maid service

Breakfast Sausage was terrible Staff not very friendly

Front desk staff not very welcoming. Asked to be close to family said no, because one of the rooms was reserved handicapped. That was not true. I made both reservations and no handicap peas requested. Tv didn’t work and no fan in bathroom???? That’s absurd….

Not up in time to experience the breakfast since it closed at 10 AM.

Only one Kleenex in the dispenser when we arrived and the soap dish was not clean.

All the facilities, it was very clean and comfortable.

The only think I don’t like was the food. Complementary breakfast was not good.

I love the breakfast and the rooms cleaniness

wish they was room that connected together

Clean facility and nice staff. The breakfast was good. The coffee was good.

Some USB outlets didn’t work in the room. The room needed another chair so that two people could sit at the desk across from each other for reviewing paperwork or eating. The coffee in lobby was not hot after the morning. The microwave in the room wasn’t working. The frig had no freezer. We had ice packs which would have been nice to refreeze for the next leg of our trip.

Nice

Everything perfect

Friendly staff, comfortable hotel.

Enjoyed the comforts of our room. Spacious and clean

A second chair at the desk table.

Breakfast was very good, well stocked, staff very friendly Patio with fire pit was wonderful

Bathroom shower hose leaked and toilet paper kept falling off 😂. Nothing we couldn’t deal with

Need a sign at the entrance that's right on the ramp to the tollway

Very clean, staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

I liked the breakfast and fitness room. I liked my room also

include bacon for breakfast

Staff never came into my room to make up the bed and clean the bathroom. I don't expect bedding and towels to be changed, but I do expect a quick clean up in the bathroom and the bed made.

Location

Ashley the receptionist was rude and ignorant. Pool could have been cleaner and warmer.

Good assortment.

Staff was very friendly. Room was exceptionally clean and breakfast was excellent

Nothing we noticed

Very spacious rooms. Great morning breakfast.

Great staff

Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Parking area was large and well lit. Lobby was very welcoming and room was clean and perfect for our needs. Breakfast was quite good with plenty of choices.

It was lovely, clean, comfortable, friendly staff! My room was clean and comfortable. Very nice reception, breakfast area. Full variety of breakfast items.

Price!

The room was clean, bed was great, and it was quiet.

Everything was great

Very large room, clean and comfortable. Plenty of shopping and dining options around the area. Easy on/off PA Turnpike.

On the last night of our visit we were woken up at 3:00 am by a foul smell in our room. I called the front desk and they acted like “no big deal “. “It is probably just a skunk at the front door “. The odor was sickening! We packed up our bags and checked out of the hotel asap. Never again !

Everything very nice

Everything was great , except for the Dog's barking in the room next to us at 5 am .

All of the staff were EXCELLENT!! They were very kind and helpful from the reception desk to housekeeping and dining staff. They are all to be commended for their professionalism and friendliness--what a wonderful welcome to the Pittsburgh area! Thank you all for a great stay.

Overall great stay.

No body wash in shower - entire bottle gone -broken off wall. Bath towels were small. Breakfast was good.

Hotel did not provide daily houskeeping

Clean room. Nice staff. Good breakfast.

Room smelled like wet dog!

Easy parking, friendly employees. The whole experience was great.

We weren't there long, but this hotel and our room were clean, quiet and just what we needed to stop and rest on our way passing through from Michigan to Virginia. Comfy and cozy, bed especially. Loved breakfast and late checkout! Would stay again.

Great experience! Thank you!

Excelente place to stay.

Great staff clean room

.

Great staff, easy parking, old beds

We called early in the day of our stay to confirm and we requested a ground floor room They could we wanted a 2nd floor with a parking lot view. We got a 5th floor with no parkiing lot view.

The room was very clean and bright. My only complaint was the turnpike noise night. Otherwise, it was an excellent stay.

Clean room.

As Hilton Honors I asked for late checkout and the front desk gave us 1/2 hour.

Big room, clean, like they had breakfast until 10am

The staff is great. They will even text you to make sure you have everything you need. The roos are clean. Sufficient. Not the most updated in esthetically, but clean. This is our go-to hotel when in the area

All around excellent property. Clean and comfortable. Great staff and amenities.

Staff was welcoming. Room was clean & bed was comfortable. Loved the outdoor area for meditation & study. Room was very quiet. A wonderful experience.

Clean rooms and facilities and attentive and efficient staff

Everything was as expected.

Great place to stay right off route 30 and the turnpike, just be careful when turning right onto country club rd, you might accidentally get on the turnpike for 11 miles!

Staff was great. Rooms very nice!

Looks renocated recently. Very clean room and looking new towel.

Easy to find and convenient to PA Turnpike. Lots of parking. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Pool very nice. Room layout was nice. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice hot shower. Room darkening blinds.

Upholstery of in room desk chair needs a deep cleaning, since light colors was chosen.

Hard to locate from Pa Tpke and Rte 30. No visible signs to hotel.

Quiet and clean

All my checked remarks

That fabulous breakfast

Convenient location, clean property

Perfect stop on our way to New Jersey. Hampton Inn is always great.

Nice hotel

The hotel staff were very nice. Rooms were cleaning and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good.

We have a wonderful stay for one night. Staff have been extremely helpful and friendly.

The property was fine. The ac was set at 67. I could not lower it. The faucet in the shower leaked and dripped. The flooring in the bathroom was loose and out of place. No water in the room.

Came to Irwin to help clean out personal affects from a family member who died. This hotel exceeded my expectations—quiet, clean, comfortable bed, convenient to route 30 and the turnpike. It was so nice to come back to a clean room with a nice shower after cleaning all day. I would recommend to anyone staying in the Irwin area.

Property was ok, outside vegitstion needed

Clean, new, friendly. Cold aC. Can't go wrong.

Great property and nice breakfast

Dirty towel left hanging in the bathroom door. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast was limited but good. Bed was a little hard. Internet was ok.

The staff was friendly and the room was very nice. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioner rattled whenever it went on. Fortunately, it did not go on very often.

Check in was fast and easy. The staff was friendly and had great information about the area

Room was old and outdated, carpet was dirty looking. Pool was dirty looking, stains on floor and walls of pool.

I don't tend to eat breakfast, but it looked delicious! Location is great. Friendly staff, very willing to help

My only complaint was the dark roast was all gone the first morning.

We stayed at 2 different Hampton's during this trip. And both hotels have terrible, uncomfortable beds. This hotel is a great place, we always seem to look and stay with you for your reputation but the beds are getting really bad. May want to start replacing the bedding.

The facility is very clean. Calm and quiet environment.

I loved the stay .

Great place to stay

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offered was nice. A choice of cereal, waffles, eggs, and a protein (sausage), fruit, and bread was more than enough for us.

First time I stayed at this Hampton, I usually stay at the one off the turnpike in Harmarville/Oakmont but it was full for the Master's weekend. I really liked and the cost was cheaper than Hamarville. It's more convenient to a Giant Eagle and Eat-nPark too - two places I always need to visit when I can return to Pgh There is also a Walmart and gas options close if needed. :) Clean, staff was great. Quiet. No complaints.

The staff was very friendly. A small plumbing issue was fixed immediately rectified and a small refund for the trouble. I'm afraid Brandon is the only name i remember but all were great.

Comfortable

I really appreciated the personal service I received as I checked out of this property. They canceled a second night I had booked and couldn’t keep due to an accident on the turnpike i experienced the day before. The desk person treated with care and understanding. Still, the room and hotel overall just seemed tired and not what I expected from a Hampton Inn. The bathroom and room seemed dated, the pillows were awful, and the sheets smelled old and needed replacing. I’m sorry, but you asked me.

Overall good experience

We were very comfortable and happy staying here.

This was our second time staying while visiting family in Irwin. Great hotel and it's in a good location with several restaurants near by, a target, and a Sheetz. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. I plan to stay here a 3rd time the next time we visit PA.

We have stayed here before with much better conditions. We book a room with 2 beds due to snoring. This time one bed was in poor condition, which went unnoticed until retiring late at night. The sheets were rough as sand paper and upon pulling up the covers there was a strong stench of body odor, causing us to wonder if that bed had been cleaned & changed between guests. We were too tired to deal with it at that time so both slept in the other bed & talked with FD & manager the next morning. Very disgusting night.
