La vue sur les vignes depuis le belvédère. La piscine avec la vue sur le village, le calme de l’endroit. J’ai adoré la manière dont mon chien a été accueilli, c’est rare. Merci pour tout

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The swimming pool was super pooper refreshing. There are actually two pools, one you can do laps in and the other one is just for relaxing but the views are absolutely grand. You look over the old town and the clocktower and it is magical!! The room that we stayed in was upgraded and it was very comfortable and quite large with a lot of wonderful accompaniments. The location is really nice and, for example, at breakfast you can have a seat overlooking the lovely vineyards of the region. Highly recommended! Parking garage is right there underneath the hotel and so everything is convenient despite being on a very mountainous terrain.
When we stayed there, the hotel didn’t have lunch or dinner available - only breakfast. But there are many very nice restaurants in the town for you to try out!

Des petits détails : la restauration rapide pas vraiment à la hauteur du standing du lieu. Au petit déjeuner, manque de variété de fromages et jus de fruits industriels. Salle de bain peu spacieuse. À part ça, tout était nickel.

Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, z.B. der überaus freundliche und sympathische Barmann stellte mir ungefragt einen (grossen) Teller mit verschiedenen Leckereien (Käse, Wurst, Oliven, spezielles Brot, Crackers usw.) hin und gab mir Essensempfehlungen ab (da im Hotel am Sonntagabend keine Möglichkeit). Die Lage ist traumhaft, das Gebäude mit Garten usw. ebenfalls, die Gegend, auf die man einen Rundumblick hat, sowieso. Mein "Lieblingswinzer" nur ein STeinwurf entfertn (Rocche dei Manzoni).
Das einzige, was ich nicht so toll fand, war die sehr lautstarke Lüftung im Badezimmer, die sich immer sofort mit Einschalten des Lichts auch einschaltet ... das ginge besser (v.a. leiser und wohl auch effizienter).

With some small details it would make the experience much nicer. The shutters and curtains don’t block the light in the morning. Information flow upon arrival, pool, breakfast, dining options etc etc. Perhaps being asked upon entering the breakfast room if I wanted a coffee and having the eggs and bacon hot. Not leaving the clean towels and toiletries on the couch which people sit on ( near the sink of shower is better ). l I suggest adding €1.50 to the cost of a room and give a free bottle of water. Please tell the cleaners to not talk about loud about life when cleaning other rooms before 9am wakening other guests.

Freundliches Barpersonal und wer nicht soviel Hunger hat ist mit den Häppchen, die zum Drink gereicht werden schon fast satt!

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025Villa Beccaris is beautifully situated in the upper part of the charming town. Restaurants are found only a couple of minutes away (by foot). The hotel is situated in a historic building with splendid views on the surrounding hills. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all necessities. We traveled with our little dog, who was also welcome in the breakfast room. With its own garage with spacious parking spots, even larger cars are well accommodated (with the possibility to charge an electric car). The hotel employees are very service-oriented and friendly and always happy to assist. The town of Monforte d'Alba is a perfect base to explore the region, with Barolo, Alba and Neive only a short drive away.
The drinks at the hotel bar are fantastic. A bit of music would make the bar even more welcoming.

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025Un magnifique hôtel, raffiné, hors du temps. Un emplacement géographique incroyable, perché sur un promontoire. Nous avons eu la chance et le plaisir de voir la chaîne des Alpes enneigée. Un spectacle à ne pas rater si la météo le permet.
Je n’ai pas trouvé le café du matin à mon goût, mais c’est un détail compte tenu du plaisir que nous avons eu. J’aurais du prendre du thé, Merci pour ce séjour.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025A Monforte ottima location vicinissima al centro cittadino raggiungibile a piedi. Personale gentilissimo e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Piscina inserita in un gradevole contesto, funzionale e con ottima esposizione. Garage con ottimi spazi di manovra.
Se devo proprio segnalare qualcosa, questo è il nome. Beccaris non evoca positivi ricordi in chi conosce la storia italiana e milanese. Non penso interessia alla maggior parte dei viaggiatori, ma io lo avrei chiamato ' già villa Beccaris'.
