El personal del hotel. Empatía cero con el cliente. Simpatía cero. Especialmente uno que era el más joven y el más maleducado. Les falta oficio y aceptar que están trabajando para el público. Es como si no les gustase lo que hacen y lo llevan a cabo con desgana. Yo desde luego no vuelvo.

L'accueil bref plus froid voir inexistent dommage en revanche l'employé d'entretien charmante et souriante

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Ein sehr schönes Hotel mitten in Morella. Nettes Personal (Achtung, nicht alle sprechen Englisch, ein bisschen Spanischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil). Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Ruhig und dennoch mittendrin. Aufpassen beim Abendessen: viele Restaurants haben wohl nur am WE geöffnet.
Parkplatzthema - wie schon oft angesprochen. Man kann nur zum Ausladen vors Hotel fahren ( haben wir nicht gemacht).Tipp: Wenn man in den Ort reinfährt, nicht den ersten Parkplatz nehmen, denn von dort aus ist es eher weit zum Hotel. Der zweite (Plaza Pla de Estudi) liegt optimal, von dort aus geht es relativ bequem in ca 5 min. zum Hotel. Kostet nur 3 Euro am Tag/10-18 Uhr (Karte ziehen mit Münzgeld). Ist also nicht so umständlich wie häufig geschildert, man muss es inur vorher wissen.

El personal fue muy amable, la habitación excelente, grande, limpia y con unas vistas increíbles, los desayunos estupendos, y una noche cenamos en el restaurante y nos encantó la comida. Todo delicioso y muy buena atención por parte del personal. Muchas gracias por todo.

You have decide between driving the streets of the Morella casbah or schlepping from the nearest paid parking. If they assign you the 1st floor you need to carry it all up the stairs.

Lo unico que se podria mejorar para mi es la calidad de les productos del desayuno. Hubiera preferido menos diversidad pero mas calidad o tipico, o sea productos que no se suelen comprar en cualquier supermercado.

Comimos en restaurante y no había oferta vegetariana/vegana. El buffet del desayuno es muy básico para su coste, no está al nivel de establecimientos similares, la bollería fresca no era reciente y el buffet continental tenía poco surtido.

El agua en la ducha solo salia caliente, y a veces demasiado. Intentabas q saliera frio pero no funcionaba. La calle de acceso estaba cortada, incluso entresemana. En Booking aparecia la advertencia, pero decia q se cortaba solo los findes. Es falso. Estaba cortada entresemana tambien. Tenian a disposicion de los clientes mapas en Valenciano, Frances e Ingles, pero no en castellano.

Schwer zu finden, es fehlen Wegweiser, eine Ausbildung zum Detektiv nützt bestimmt. Anfahrt durch mittelalterliche Gassen, für große KFZ (SUV) eine Herausforderung! Aber machbar. Fussmarsch mit Gepäck vom Parkplatz nicht zu empfehlen!

De los mejores colchones que he dormido nunca, pero el hecho de ser dos camas individuales unidas le quita un poco el encanto y comodidad de una cama doble grande.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Très belle chambre, meublée avec goût et offrant une vue magnifique sur les environs, dans un hôtel ancien et fort calme, par ailleurs bien situé un peu en retrait de la rue commerçante. Un parking pratique, en contre-bas, nécessite toutefois un trajet pédestre avec les valises, qui peut ne pas convenir à tout le monde.
Déception à l'arrivée: en dépit d'une réservation téléphonique depuis la France, nous apprenons que le restaurant de l'hôtel ne fonctionnait pas ce soir-là; peu d'aide véritable pour y remédier!

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel mit stilvollen Zimmern und freundlichem Service. Für einen Aufenthalt in Morella eine klare Empfehlung. Sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang. Stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit viel Charakter. Großzügige Räume und ein sehr schönes, geräumiges Bad. Angenehme Atmosphäre und ein Haus, das gut zum historischen Ambiente von Morella passt.
Da fällt mir ehrlich gesagt nichts ein. Und es muss ja nicht immer etwas zu kritisieren geben. Für uns war alles stimmig. Das Hotel verdient aus unserer Sicht eine klare 9 von 10.

La hubicación perfecta pero si vas cargado con las maletas,no puedes descargar y aparcar cerca. Tienes que buscar un parking "algo alejado" para aparcar. En la calle que está ubicado,el hotel no se puede aparcar porque te pueden sancionar. Pero creo que es sólo un detalle casi sin importancia porque merece la pena alojarse ahí.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Beautiful building and lovely hotel sympathetically designed into the old building. Staff were friendly and the hotel was close to bars and restaurants in the village.
I didn’t know until the day before that the road to the hotel is closed at the weekend. Also we were not told that a cycle race meant that where we were told to park temporarily to unload the bike was also closed. This meant an 800m walk carrying all our bags, kit and helmets in 32C which was not pleasant.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026The hotel was surprisingly good, especially for the price. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything you’d expect from a much more expensive hotel. It’s quite an unusual set up being like a small castle, but well modernised and located right in the centre of the village. Several local cafes and bars are right on the doorstop. The village is certainly old and quirky, with narrow streets, cobble stones and very Spanish. Nobody spoke English. But the locals were friendly and helpful. I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
The hotel is situated on a very narrow one way street, with no parking and because of the way the village roads are laid out, it’s very difficult to find by car. The idea is to drop your bags at the hotel entrance then find public parking. It should be said that the hotel were very helpful by send parking coordinates, but it was a bit of a pain with two large cases, hand luggage and a large rental car that struggled fitting through some of the ancient arches and narrow street. It was fun though, certainly an adventure. Breakfast was a bit limited, but so very cheap, it was good enough.

Reviewed May 26, 2026El conjunto del edificio y su decoración interior es majestuoso. Las habitaciones, amplias y muy bien equipadas. El desayuno buffet por 8,5 €, bien surtido.
No es tema propiamente del hotel.....por restricciones de circulación en el casco antiguo del municipio, es complicado aproximarse incluso para dejar las maletas si la visita se realiza en fin de semana. Lo ideal es llegar a la Plaza de Colón, cercana a la espalda del hotel, e intentar aparcar por alli. Incluso los navegadores tienen problemas para encontrar la ruta idonea para llegar. En caso de optar por alguna de las zonas de estacionamiento (zona ORA) fuera de las murallas, son unos 10 min de caminata.

Reviewed May 9, 2026Accueil des cyclistes excellent: un endroit sûr pour garer nos vélos, ascenseur pour monter les bagages dans la chambre. Luxueuse, vaste, très grand lit pour deux, salle de bain vaste et douche bien chaude. Parfait. Petit déjeuner complet,avec buffet, le matin, non compris dans le prix de la chambre mais 8€ par personne, parfait. Accueil très cordial. Attention faut parler, un peu espagnol !
Le seul problème est l'accès un peu compliqué quand il y a beaucoup de visiteurs dans cette ville très touristique.
