Honestly, we really enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. The whole property was clean and well kept, and we loved that it had pretty much everything we needed. The game room was especially nice for families, and having a surau, clean toilets, and a gym was a big plus. The room service was also very good. What stood out to us the most was the staff — everyone was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They would greet us and smile whenever they saw us, and those little gestures really made a difference. It gave us such a good impression of Malaysian hospitality, especially for foreign travellers. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The food was delicious, there was a good variety, and the price was very reasonable. And of course, the beach view was one of our favourite parts of the stay. Sitting there and looking out at the sea was so peaceful and therapeutic. It was exactly the kind of place where you can slow down, relax, and just enjoy being there.

The only thing we were slightly disappointed about was that the adult pool was under renovation. Other than that, honestly, we had nothing much to complain about. Everything else was great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed, including a great game room for families, surau, clean facilities, and a good gym. The room service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They always greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very comfortable and truly reflected the warm hospitality of Malaysia. The breakfast buffet was also delicious with plenty of choices, especially considering the reasonable price.

The only downside was that the adult pool was under renovation during our stay. Other than that, we had no complaints.

Pool was shut and breakfast was very basic.

Next to the sea

The resort is quiet and a bit remote from anywhere else. The beach, at least in front of the hotel is clean. There were rubbish elsewhere along the beach which is quite disappointing. The town council needs to do better. The staff were friendly enough.

Cleanliness can be better, especially in the restaurant. There were lizard droppings on many of the chairs.

Sehr schmutziges und extrem abgewohntes Zimmer (inkl. Kakerlake in der Dusche) Gesamtes Gebäude sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Kleiner Strandabschnitt sauber, jedoch keine Liegen. Links und rechts des Abschnittes große Müllberge. Großer Pool wird wohl nie wieder öffnen, reines Betonbecken zu sehen.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with the cleanliness standards. The floor was quite dusty, the bedsheets felt itchy and uncomfortable, and the bathroom had yellowish stains with an unpleasant smell. These issues affected the overall comfort of my stay. I hope the management can improve housekeeping and maintenance to provide a better experience for future guests.

Location very far from town. But the resort ok for me.

Some pros are that the beach was very clean and nice and the staff are friendly and pleasant.

I wish I could recommend this hotel because it has a nice private beach. However, this definitely did not live up to its 4-star rating. This was especially disappointing given that we had paid over RM300 for the room. - The lobby had very dirty chairs. - The rooms are very dated and dirty. The AC was not cooling the room even after an hour and the aircon service man did not do anything to fix it. - The bedding and pillow cases had all kinds of stains that made us hesitant to sleep on them. - The bath towels had big disgusting yellow stains. - Our room was infested with cockroaches (we found 2 big ones and baby one later on). - They did not provide basic amenities like toothbrush or hand soap. - Shower area was not clean and there were holes in the wall, making it look quite old and unsightly. - Bathroom sink was broken and had a lot of toxic black mold. - Staff were slow to come to our room when we had requests to check the AC or get rid of the cockroaches. When we asked why the room had cockroaches, they simply said that it was because we were on the ground floor. - A lot of food was exposed without cover in the breakfast area. We found ants crawling on the half-boiled eggs. When we told the staff, she simply removed the ants and continued serving the eggs to others. This is clearly not hygenic. The food was also quite cold. Simply a mystery how this hotel got its 4-star rating. Our stay was akin to maybe a 2-star hotel experience. We have stayed in lower rated hotels that had much better hygiene. Although the management has responded to similar reviews in the past and promised improvements, it seems like not enough has been done.

The resort poorly maintained.The children’s pool is unsafe due to the broken tiles n the resort offers very limited activities. Also my personal towel was taken by the service staff and it was lost.

Upon entering the bathroom there's a cockroach. The bathroom smell like a cockroach too. My husband kill it and we thought is gonna be okay. But after shower, the water is pooling near to bathroom toilet . Making us very uncomfortable each time using toilet. Before sleep there's one more cockroach suddenly appear near to the outside toilet. To be honest it make me mad but we already too tired and already unpack our thing. So my husband kill it again. Early morning we check out after breakfast.

The environment n sea view

La piscine enfant. L'accès à la plage. Le restaurant correct. Le personnel aimable.

Un vrombissement permanent assez fort qui doit correspondre à un générateur, ou à la climatisation des locaux communs, attenant à la chambre. Bruit très gênant ! Dommage de nous avoir attribués cette chambre alors que l'hôtel semblait presque vide. Une piscine fermée pour rénovation et une deuxième qui mériterait un coup de neuf et de propre.

größte Enttäuschung unserer Reise. Hier hat der Fotograf ganze Arbeit geleistet, um eine Realität vorzugaukeln, die vor Ort nicht existiert. Das Modernste an der gesamten, veralteten Anlage waren ironischerweise die Lichtschalter. Unsere Erfahrung: Die Anlage: Das gesamte Areal wirkte verlassen und 'spooky', fast wie in einem Horrorfilm. Die Umgebung glich einer einzigen Baustelle. Pool-Desaster: Von den zwei versprochenen Pools war kein einziger in Betrieb – bei den Temperaturen eine absolute Zumutung. Der Strand: Während der hoteleigene Strandabschnitt noch sauber war, glich der direkt angrenzende Bereich einer offenen Müllhalde. Ein trauriger Anblick. Service & Preis: Wir hatten ursprünglich drei Nächte bezahlt, wollten aber nach dem ersten Blick ins Zimmer sofort auf eine Nacht verkürzen. Mit viel Geduld gelang die Umbuchung, allerdings wurde die eine Nacht dadurch unverhältnismäßig teuer. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hier ein schlechter Witz.

Semua best! Anak2 memang enjoy stay sini..diorg paling suka mandi kolam..lepas kolam pergi main pasir kat pantai pastu terjun kolam lagi. Makanan pun best.

All was good but the buffet breakfast can have more variety for guest who love to stay for long periods of time.

Freundlicher Empfang, sehr schöne Lage am Strand. Ausreichend Parkplätze, Diner aufs Zimmer zügig und gut. Gut ausgestattetes landestypisches Frühstücksbuffet, guter Kaffee. Gutes Wifi, Wasser auf dem Zimmer.

Erwachsenenpool geschlossen. Bad würde etwas Renovierung benötigen, aber sauber.

Nice and quiet place to unwind. Clean beach with places to seat and swings are available there. The breakfast spread is variety, especially the croissant that were baked fresh from the oven. Very nice!!

I could imagine that this would have been a wonderful hotel when first built. It has a lovely open plan lay out and is attached to a golf course that is well maintained and we had a couple of great games. However the hotel is not well maintained and in such disrepair that it really should be closed or at least only open the sections that had been refurbished. Our room smelt of damp and mould and we asked to change but it appeared all the rooms on the bottom floor smelt the same. We upgraded to a suite which smelt better but could not be compared in any way for size, comfort or cleanliness to the standard room at the Ancassa hotel an hour away, and cost a lot more. You could barely see through the glass doors, the couch was stained and the kitchen sink was stained and rusted. Chairs in the dining room were badly stained and tables were cleared but not cleaned.

Lacked cleanliness and everywhere you looked there was security tape cordoning off areas because the roof was falling in, the balustrades rusted through, pool closed off, rooms under repair. However in the 2 days we were there, we saw no evidence of any work or workers. The adult pool has been out of action for many months with a recent update indicating it will not be fixed till 2027. It is surrounded by an ugly metal fence.
