Lake Inari Mobile Cabins

Tutto bellissimo e personale gentilissimo.

Everything was perfect

Everything nothing else to say it was an amazing experience I would definitely recommend it 1000%

Really unique experience, the sauna was great too. Atte and his wife were great welcoming hosts.

Fantastic location, very novel concept and brilliant hosts!

Nothing

Personale molto gentile. Bella sauna a legna

The staff are fantastic and make you feel at home. Don’t miss the communal dinner, it was very tasty in the BBQ hut. The Northern Lights are magical from the cabins and there’s other activities like ice fishing, kick sleigh or a wonderful hike to fill in the day before hitting the sauna. A 2 night stay is a must! Thank you Lake Inari Mobile Cabins!

It is a special experience, staying at night in a small Mobile in the middle of a frozen lake. The aurora was incredible! Atte is a great host and together with samsa make you feel welcomed. The breakfast is perfect. We recommend taking dinner in the grill hut. It is so much different and fun to seat around the fire with everyone

Such a unique cool stay!!

Absolutely nothing. It was amazing

A great location - and a fun adventure - the family were lovely and we enjoyed learning about them and their life - the food was very nice and it was fun eating with other guests - it was an adventure sleeping on the lake - the Northern Lights were a bonus - we even managed to try X-country skiing,

Everything was well maintained, the mobile cabins were cozy, warm and really clean

A fantastic two-night stay. You gave us a dream. Thank you for everything. All the staff were incredibly kind. It was like being part of a family.

We spent a wonderful time staying at the Lake Inari Mobile Cabins. Sleeping in a cabin was such a magical experience (we got to see aurora lights!!) and being dragged each night and each morning was so fun ! The hosts were also super welcoming : they were available, ready to share suggestions for activities and restaurants in the region and the breakfast and dinner were super tasty. We also really enjoyed the sauna. If you are looking for an unforgettable stay, we definitely recommend this one !

Everything was perfect. The staff is really nice. The place and the food are amazing. The best experience we had in Finland. Highly recommended!!

Unfortunately we only stayed one night.

Coole Idee. Super nette Hosts. Dinner umbedingt mit buchen.

What a find! I liked everything, beginning to end. The welcome feeling of the ‘communal lounge’ the authentic feeling dinner and the communication throughout. 5 stars over and over again!!

The staff and service was absolutely exceptional and 5-star. Atte was really special with his service and it’s wonderful to see businesses like this which are run by owners who are passionate about their business. Ice fishing was a lovely activity to do as well.

Nothing

Tutto perfetto.

I like everything here, new experience for me to stay in a cabin at middle of Inari Lake, we watched Aurora on our bed middle of the night. The view was amazing. The staffs were helpful, they prepared early breakfast for us..

Too cold , the mattress not so comfortable

Staff super accogliente, tutti molto gentili e disponibili.

The location is absolutely stunning—right on a frozen lake, which means you can enjoy the sky views without any hassle. The cabin itself is adorable and cozy, adding so much charm to the stay. Overall, it was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had!

nothing

The couple and the staff are all welcoming, friendly, smiley, and helpful. You don’t feel the distance of the mobile cabins from the village center; it’s just a 5-minute drive, and they are always willing to accommodate any pick-up and drop-off requests. The breakfast is good. The dinner at the grill hut has a nice ambiance, allowing us to spend an hour talking to other people around the table. There are activities to do during the day and the overnight stay on the lake is a unique experience.

It might be too warm to have the oil heater on with the duvet, but I am not dare to turn off the heater for the night.

Love the Host. There will host you like their friends. Fantastic experience of staying overnight at the lake. Unfortunately it was too cloudy to see be able to see the northern light. For sure these will be an awesome place to view northern light if appear. The sauna was really good. Walking on the lake during the day was my highlight too. Got a few activities you can book with them. Truly I will recommend for every one for the experience. There are 7 cabins, 2 shared toilets and 2 shared shower, you can book their sauna and fee is included if sauna. Even without seeing the northern light. We still love the stay very much.

Fabulous experience staying on the frozen lake, w. Northern lights all night long. Staff were super helpful. Dinner and breakfast top notch.

Nothing!

Great experience and hospitality. Relax and fun.

None

It is absolutely a unique experience that you can’t get from other place! The host Atte and his team are super nice and helpful. We saw northern lights 3 times during the whole night in the centre of the lake!

Nothing

What is not to like !! The staff is really nice, very responsive , and takes good care of you. The shared facilities are all clean and the place is very well organised. The breakfast has good choices and all diets are taken into consideration. If you can , I would recommend joining the dinner - it is served in a very nice place and the food is really good! It is a very nice experience! You can join their activities, but you can also borough the kick sledge and the skis and go for a wander yourself :) Regarding the cabins - warm and so comfortable! The experience of being on them and sleeping in the middle of the frozen lake is something amazing! we were lucky enough to have a beautiful night with northern lights, which made it even more special! I would truly recommend this place!

Nothing :)

It was a wonderful stay. We were very lucky to see auroras almost all the night, on the icy lake, and it was one of the most incredible experience I have known. The dinner in the hut was also very nice. The hosts are very sympathic. The sauna is free and traditional. Don't hesitate.

I like the concept, location, breakfast, opportunity to see northern light, and especially Atte and his wife.

Everything is perfect 👌

Fantastic unique experience. Great enthusiastic staff. There was a fridge to store your own food and you could cook your own food inbetween the cooking prep for booked dinners and towing out to the lake. Cabins were very comfortable and warm. There were a handful of board games to play in the communal area. So glad we did it. WiFi was available on the lake which was an added bonus!

Add some sort of indication that the toilets/showers were vacant so people didn’t just keep trying all the doors until you left the cubicle.

The folks at Inari Mobile Cabins are some of the most hospitable, warm and friendly guys we have met at any of our stays. The dinner was absolutely brilliant. The service was unmatched. The concept is truly unique. We were given a couples cabin which was self sufficient with heating. Post dinner, a snowmobile hauled the cabin with us in it to the middle of the Inari lake. We were left there in the wilderness for the night to witness an amazing aurora show. Early morning haul back to a wonderful hotel style breakfast. The stay and experience was the highlight on our Finland itinerary.

Such a unique experience! Comfy accommodations, great food, everything you need. Highlight of our trip to Lapland!

This is unique type of accommodation we have ever stayed. Being dragged on top of the frozen lake and experiencing northan light without going out in freezing cold is a bliss.

What a unique place to stay! An amazing experience.

We stayed 2 nights. We liked the originality of the stay and the host were very kind. It’s a unique experience to sleep on the lake. Sadly we were not far from the main cottage, I thought they would have brought us further on the frozen lake.

For 400€/night you would expect better common facilities (showers, living space, kitchen only for guests etc.) I was a quite disappointed to see that there isn’t any area to chill and be cosy around a fireplace. There is basically 1 couch for all the cabins (about 10) and the rest of the area to rest in are tables and benches. I think the common area should be more cosy especially as the cabins are tiny and the only place you can rest on is the bed.

The shared facilities were very good and clean. The cabin was very comfortable overnight. Because there were only us staying we had the lake to ourselves. We enjoyed the walk into the main town.

When we arrived, because there was only the two of us staying that night they did not open the restaurant which was disappointing because the pictures looked very nice. It would have been good to know that beforehand.

Fun experience. Nice sauna. Great staff. Views from the cabin were incredible with the Northern Lights. Nice breakfast.

If you want to get a true Lapland feel then this is the place to go. It’s a little off grid but the cabins were cosy and clean. The facilities outside the cabin were great. Loved the bbq real Finnish feel. The kids loved being towed out to the lake. It was a one off experience that we really enjoyed.

Nothin all was fab

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

I would have preferred the property a little less expensive mainly because it felt like if we don’t get to see the northern lights from up in the lake then we miss out a lot of the property. Anyway seemed like a perfect location to catch the lights so no complaints from me. It was worth it.

Absolutely loved our stay here, was definitely a highlight of our Finland holiday. Lodge facilities were excellent, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Loved our cabin which was bigger than imagined, plenty of room for suitcases under the bed. Loved the experience of being towed out onto the ice for the evening, it was beautiful. Really enjoyed the wood sauna and coming out and jumping in the snow. Atte & Alexa are wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Went cross country skiing for the first time and Alexa was a great teacher. We had dinner in the grill hut on the first night which was excellent. Took a bottle of wine with us which made it just perfect.

Didn’t see the lights as too cloudy unfortunately. Will need to go back!

If you're in Lapland and you like adventure in nature, this is the place to go! Unforgettable memories guaranteed! Many thanks to Atte and Alexa!

The cabins are incredible. Dinner together with the fire was such a great experience, one of the best moments of the trip. The best thing was the staff, super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really good. Sauna was also another great moment, initially we were doubtful but thank god Alex encouraged us!

Amazing cabin experience, lovely breakfast and dinner, and the best hospitality.

Fantastic and unforgettable experience! Atte and Alexa are incredible hosts, they make yourself feel at home and make sure you have everything you need. The location is fantastic: the base camp is far enough from the village to feel isolated but near enough to reach on foot (unless you have a lot of luggage). The trip to and back from the middle of the lake while lying on our bed was one of the highlights of our trip: amazing! The free wood-fired saun, kick-sleds, and transfers from/to the village are also a big plus.

The cabin was clean and comfortable and perfect for viewing the Northern Lights! Atte and Alexa were extremely welcoming and exceptional hosts! Dinner with Atte was amazing! Delicious meal and his stories were informative and interesting! In the morning Alexa cooked made to order eggs and provided a wonderful traditional Finnish breakfast!

The house was very nice and it was very quiet on the lake at night. It was a very strange experience. The host was very welcoming, responded to all messages promptly, picked us up and dropped us off in the car, booked a delicious dinner by the stove, and experienced the sauna. We needed to leave by bus at 7am, the host pulled the hut back to the station early and cooked us a delicious breakfast, thank you very much. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we did not see the aurora. It will come again next time.

We had a fabulous adventure at Lake Inari Mobile Cabins. The cabin was very clean and comfy, the sauna was excellent, the showers were great as well as the bathrooms. Breakfast and the snacks in the kitchen throughout the day were excellent and appreciated. We had dinner the first night in the camp fire hut, great food, and Atte and Alexa are the consummate hosts. We were fortunate that the sky cleared on our third night and we experienced the wonder of the Aurora Borealis. We also appreciated the ability to use the kitchen to make dinner on the third night, after Atte had prepared dinner for the other guests. Thank you! Be advised that when the cabin is out on the lake at night, the portable toilet in the cabin is a bit rustic, but highly functional. We also went snowmobiling and dog sledding (our favorite) while in Lake Inari. Using the Lake Inari Mobile cabins as our base camp worked out perfectly. Thank you Atte and Alexa for a fabulous stay and adventure in the Arctic circle!

Our stay was simply perfect! From the arrival until our drop off, we have an amazing experience

Absolute gem of a place. Wish I could give it a higher score! The excitement of being towed out by snowmobile onto the frozen lake in the cabin, view of the open skies from the bed, tasty breakfasts, good facilities, fantastic little sauna and great dinner of reindeer sausage in The Grill Hut. Took up the ice fishing activity which was brilliant. Exceptional hospitality from Atte and Alexa. Loved every minute, thank you very much

We loved the entire experience. From the sauna to dinner with the host in the grill hut and wonderful conversation over breakfast with the host and fellow travelers. Loved sleeping on the lake although it was windy and no lights. Very peaceful

I wish we had known we signed up for the smaller cabin. We would have liked a larger one but that’s no one else’s fault but our own.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Inari. People are just of incredible kindness, and if you need any help they do not hesitate to give their hands. The experience of sleeping on the lake is totally undescribable! I would strongly suggest to spend your time here and take part to Atte's running activities. Thank you guys! Cristina and Enrico from Italy

It was an extraordinary experience to be pulled to the middle of the frozen lake in the mobile cabin though I didn't have luck on the northern lights during my 2 nights stay. I enjoyed the ice-fishing and the ride on the snowmobile not to mentioned the traditional smoked sauna in the snow. The hosts were both friendly and the overall experience was fantastic.
