Dun Cromain Bed and Breakfast

The Flannery’s were excellent hosts. Lovely quiet part of the village along by the Shannon. Lovely room, bed and breakfast. Flynn’s Restaurant offers great food and service and the marina a picturesque walk after. A haven for fishing too.

It was a very cold room, we were given a heater but it was inadequate, went yo bed to stay warm. However, the breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable one night stay. Delicious breakfast. Spacious room. A little off the beaten trail but highly recommend. Wonderful suggestion for dinner at the Railway Bar.

Great quiet location. Great full Irish hot breakfast.

Quiet location appropriate for the destinations we wanted to visit. Host Moira was delightful

good and clean if you need a place to stay locally.. good breakfast. large rooms

Proprietari gentili e premurosi, camera confortevole e letti comodi . Abbiamo avuto un problema con l'auto e ci hanno aiutato a risolvere. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.

Last minute booking but lovely accommodations. Clean rooms and delicious breakfast.

Everything was good. Maura was very helpful but unobtrusive. The breakfast was delicious. Only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Banagher. Had a lovely dinner in Flynn's and a great night in J.J.Hough's. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

best breakfast of our trip so far, thank you!

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Dun Cromain. The host is a lovely lady. Would recommend this b&b to anyone

The owner was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean - and she maintained it throughout our stay. The facility is in excellent condition. Breakfast was delicious and the menu was flexible. The B&B is within easy walking distance of downtown. The only drawback of this location is that there are very few places to eat in the immediate area. Take-away is available, as is a fair-sized SuperValu market, but there is only one sit-down restaurant nearby that is open at dinnertime. Despite the sole drawback, I would not hesitate to book another visit to Dun Cromain B&B!

Had a great stay with good recommendations on the night out. Would happily stay there agaig

Very welcoming owners, and interesting to talk to. Knowledgeable about local history and places of interest to us . Pleased that they accepted our dog , this can be quite problematic when looking for suitable B&B accommodation in Ireland.

LOVED this place, would stay again and again. Mora is incredible and the little house dog Sky welcomed us and the stay was absolutely perfect

It was just adequate

We enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere was great and the Irish breakfast was excellent. The town was easily within walking distance and had live music and great local eats. The river-front area was lively, and many cool locations were within 30 min driving distance. The BnB feel of the place was charming, and we met other travelers and students. Loved it!

Mora was a wonderful host. We had two rooms, both were cozy. We had a full Irish breakfast that was delicious. Thank you for a lovely time. Close to a grocery mart and dining options we walked to both. We went to Flynn’s for dinner and the food was wonderful.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, Extrawünsche werden gern angenommen.

Maura was a great host, cheerful, generous with advice on local eating and music venues, focused on helping ensure an early morning departure for us.

The hostess made our stay most enjoyable. She had helpful suggestions and a cheery spirit!

The property was in the country which made it nice and peaceful with farm animals around

Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent Irish breakfast. We walked into town at night for dinner which was quite dark, despite flash lights. Town is very lively with good options to eat,

Friendly helpful host . Comfortable room.

Arrived at the Property to a perfect welcome and true Irish kindness. Our Stay was Perfect from start to finish. Beautiful B&B and Brekfast was the best. The owners Moira and Peter went above and beyond to make out holiday Perfect x the girls at Breakfast we’re great too x Thank you so much and will visit again very soon x

B&B accueillant, chaleureux et tranquille. Bon petit déjeuner irlandais.

Quite good .No tea/coffee making facilities but otherwise excellent!

It is a lovely relaxing place in a quiet setting and only a short walk to the town

Clean and comfy

Great location rural feel just on the edge of the village with an easy stroll to pubs and food.

The host was pleasant but not particularly attentive. Room was ok, but pretty basic. Breakfast was tasty and adequate. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Fantastica accoglienza, stanza enorme e proprietaria gentilissima! A pochi km dal fantastico monastero di Clonmacnoise.

Breakfast was very good, the rooms are clean and spacious. The hostess, Maura, was informarive and helpful. Very good value.

Very enjoyable stay in Dun Cromain and an excellent breakfast.

Maura was so welcoming and extremely helpful. Banagher is subtly appealing and I’m so glad we stayed. We were near Clonfert cathedral, and near enough to Clonmacnoise and Birr. The local pub with trad music is brilliant.

De kamer was stoffig, bedden smoezelig en vochtig. Het was erg koud in de B&B. Onze kamer had een electrische kachel waardoor de kamer wel warm werd maar de badkamer bleef koud. Meubilair erg gedateerd. Ontbijt was goed

Was good and the hostess was quite welcoming

Great. Breakfast was delicious especially her homemade bread. The only downside was the bathroom. The toilet was hard to flush, unless there was a trick to it. It had an open shower, so the floor got totally wet. Other then that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Our host was such a nice lady who greeted us with a smile and recommended a lovely restaurant with great food and atmosphere within a 5-minute walk (Flynn's). She even loaned us a flourescent vest to use for our walk back in the dark! The bed was comfy, the breakfast - delicious and hot. A great stay at the end of our Ireland adventure! Would only recommend that a small seating area be arranged for viewing the tv in our room. Otherwise, grand!

This is a lovely B&B within a short walk of a busy local village. The friendliness and service were excellent.

the lady was very friendly and welcoming, with tea and biscuits on offer when we arrived. Breakfast was excellent !
