The Bloomfield Inn

We stayed in room 5 - a King suite. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet too! The check in/out was easy. We look forward to staying here again.

The tv was not working.

Bien aimé Bloomfield et découvrir les plages de Sandbanks. Studio spacieux et bons matelas, belle salle de bain. Salon confortable. Cour sympa. Tranquille

Grondement dans des tuyaux dans le plafond de la chambre chaque nuit. Deux trois minutes la 1ere nuit, encore la 2e nuit puis plus souvent et longtemps la dernière nuit. Euh décevant. Quelques articles de plus en cuisine: petits couteaux, essoreuse à salade, filtres à café Vider la poubelle de la cuisine chaque jour..? Est-ce prévu ? Usage de la télévision : des instructions auraient aidé. Prix très élevé si je compare avec un récent chalet loué dans Lanaudiere au QUÉBEC

Très bel appartement, bien équipé et très propre. Bien situé, emplacement central en lien avec ce qu’on souhaitait visiter.

It felt nostalgic to be staying at such a heritage site with so much history. The neighbourhood surrounding the property is exquisite well preserved and maintained century homes, large trees. The inside of our room was so spacious, airy, highlighting the tall schoolhouse windows. Close and easy proximity to Sandbanks Prov Park and Picton. Clear and easy communications with the staff.

The price is pretty honest for PEC(300$/Night) Location is great. Rooms are spacious. Beds too soft un Room #1 better on Room #6. The must! Big Mike BBQ right behind, family run delicious bbq.

Unfortunately first Room(#1) was inspected by the fire department as not conforming, so we had to change to Room #6 with a rooftop patio. A bit warm since no climatisation in the rooms. We did not sleep because of noises in Room #7. If you need a quiet space I would definitly recommend rooms 1-5.

Super bien situé, pour partir en vélo ou simplement pour aller dîner au village, à 10 km du parc de Sandbanks!

Good location. Easy access. Great, open-air BBQ resto right on the property. Room was comfortable and very clean. Lovely selection of teas and coffee in room.

Shower stall was a bit tight for anybody medium-sized or larger. Wall-mounted TV might have been of more use if it had been mounted in the bedroom, rather than in the sitting room.

Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gepasst, alles war sehr klein einschließlich des Bettes. Lieber keinen Vorraum in den man ein Sofa quetscht und dafür ein etwas größeres Bad . Die Angabe von 45 qm stimmt ganz sicher nicht für dieses Zimmer.

Internet and TV didn't work well

We were really impressed with the Bloomfield Inn. The kitchenette in our room (The Meadow) came with all of the basics and then some! Also, huge bonus points for having Mikes BBQ PEC in the backyard for a fun midday meal! Directly next door as well, is the All My Friends Beer Co. It literally could not be situated any better. Bloomfield is a lovely town to walk and take in the sights while having access to everything you need. They even supplied a complimentary Parks Pass for use during our stay. We knocked off 4 provincial parks and beat the crowds.

There really isn't anything that we didn't like. I could say the water pressure was less than what we like, but that's hardly anything important.

The television was connected via Shaw satellite and not subscribed to any channels, so it was useless.

Pas de borne de chargement pour les autos électriques. Il n’y en a qu’une au village et elle de faible intensité. De plus il n’est pas permis de se brancher la nuit.

I liked the location and it’s old charm

The bathroom smelled like pee and the door handles and light switches were all a little dirty. It was a little loud with the other guests.

No breakfast at venue. Prepared our own. Excellent central location for visiting all over Prince Edward County. Very quiet and relaxing area.

A mirror in the bedrooms would be useful. Base of shower stall needs work to look clean. Mason jar glasses trendy but would prefer regular thinner lighter drinking glasses.

Fully equipped, clean, parking

The bed was comfortable and the local of the hotel was good for our plans.

It was pleasant but the room was not overly large. The shower stall was very small. Breakfast would be nice. Most similar hotels including our next hotel in the country include breakfast. They were not willing to extend our checkout by an hour which meant my partner had to sit in the hall until I could come back from my meeting and pick her up.

La suite que nous avions (au fond du couloir) était de bonne taille et décorée avec goût. Très propre, bien équipée et fonctionnelle, nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort de la literie, et les informations laissé par les propriétaires. Même si arrivée et départ se font de manière autonomes, nous avons perçu l'enthousiaste des propriétaire à travers le book d'informations .... une mine d'or pour un séjour agréable. Ils sont aussi très réactifs via les mails. L'extérieur est bien équipé aussi.

Beautiful place Right downtown

Our room was the Lakeside. It was big and bright! Very clean and private. It's a 15 min drive to sandbanks. The stay came with a pass to the park. We were very happy with everything!

Great property. Close to sandbanks

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, both of which are really important. The location within Bloomfield was excellent (a short walk to stores and restaurants on main street), and there was plenty of free parking. There were also some areas outside with Muskoka chairs, which was nice.

The hotel is very basic with small rooms and low end fixtures and furniture, and our window didn't have a screen so it wasn't possible to have the window open. The building we were in was not very sound-proof so ear plugs were necessary to not hear others coming in or going out. I expected better for the price charged.

The location was excellent. It was central to many places in PEC (within 10-15 minutes) such as Picton, Wellington, Sandbanks Provincial Park, Lake on the Mountain and numerous wineries and craft breweries. We booked a room without a full kitchen. The room was comfortable with a small, separate living room. Our room had a small bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, coffee, tea, cups, dishes, utensils. These amenities were perfect for our needs. We liked that they gave a code to purchase an online day pass to any of the nearby provincial parks for free using their season pass.

The Bloomfield Inn changed ownership a couple of months after we had booked it. Besides its central location, another reason that we chose this inn was because under the old ownership it stated there was an attached bistro. We felt that having an onsite bistro would save us time in the mornings at breakfast. Unfortunately, the new ownership is still working things out and the bistro was not open. However, we did find other places for breakfast in Bloomfield and Picton. The other downfall for this unit was that the shower was tiny. We would also recommend improved cable offerings, as they were limited, and provide a card list of what the channels show. We understand that with new ownership come growing pains. I would book The Bloomfield Inn again, curious to see what improvements have been made. The kitchen suites look nice. The staff were very friendly.

It was a very nice, well designed and spacious apartment with a living room, kitchen and bedroom. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and some utensils as well as plates and bows. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. There was an area outside with patio chairs and a barbecue, so one can enjoy them at any time. The hotel was only 10-15 minutes from the beaches.

There was no fan in the bathroom. There was a very strong nature oil smell in the air in the living room which was may be due to the laundry detergent that was used for the towels and sheets. All the liquid soaps had a strong smell due to the natural oil additive, which is nice on one hand, but may not be enjoyable for some people.

The many beautiful windows and historic mouldings plus tin stamped ceiling were charming. The beds and linens were very comfortable.

While it was one of the hottest days of the year, there was no a/c to speak of-- a whisp of some tepic air coming out of the vents and a single (in a multiple room suite) portable non vented a/c that put out more heat than cool. At this price point the no a/c is unacceptable. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate but could be more lux.

Very nice, good service but not a lot within walking distance for food. Some places close early/closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Good if you have a car though.
