The two lovely ladies at reception are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every single guest. Their radiant smiles and genuine care give the hotel a deeply comforting, family-like atmosphere—making you feel just as nurtured and looked after as you would at home. It is hospitality from the heart. The room itself was exceptionally spacious, featuring a separate private bathroom and a massive queen bed that could comfortably accommodate a family. The amenities were top-notch—instant hot water, plenty of quality bath accessories, and absolute, flawless cleanliness throughout. An excellent hotel like this deserves nothing But the #1 award in Agulhas. A perfect 5-star experience!

The bathroom was extremely small. I do not recommend a big bodied person book at this venue. They will not be able to use the toilet and shower . This is an extremely tight- fit for small built people . It was extremely claustrophobic. The noices level at 5:30 AM was unpleasant with people leaving their room and doors banging etc. This is beyound the establishments control unfortunaly.

It would be nice if there was breakfast included, but there are many nice coffee shops nearby. There is also no air conditioning, though the ceiling fan was mostly sufficient during our stay.

Certainly a terrible experience.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025Ideal gelegen um das Cape Agulhas zu erkunden. Das Guesthouse ist zwar einfach, hat aber alles was man braucht. Das Bett war bequem, die Bettwäsche hat frisch geduftet, die Grösse des Zimmers angenehm. Es hatte einen Wasserkocher für Kaffee/Tee und sogar einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Das Bad ist zwar klein, aber für 1-2 Nächte perfekt.

La chambre était lumineuse et propre, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour un voyageur. L’accueil a été incroyablement chaleureux. J’aimerais beaucoup revenir !

It's also possible to walk all the way to the shipwreck from the guesthouse (enjoy the tide pools, leave the car at the hotel). The bed was very comfortable, the water was hot, the mini-fridge was nice to have. Good parking on-site. It was clean and tastefully decorated. A charming building! I liked the bay windows. The late-day sun was intense, but the blinds were more than adequate. Fantastic WiFi. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Exceptional value for the money.
The plumbing was a bit noisy. The bathroom/bedroom were on the smaller side. Very minor inconveniences - just nitpicking.

She even told us if the areas to visit and the restaurants. Overall we had a very good time and are planning to come back very soon.
