El apartamento está muy bien, los muebles son antiguos pero en buen estado, limpio y cómodo Preciosas vistas, amplia terraza. Nos encantó la cercanía a la playa y la ubicación en pleno paseo marítimo. Muy cómodo y con muchas opciones de restauración. El personal de recepción muy agradable.

El agua un poco turbia de la piscina más profunda. El olor de los desagües del baño. El agua del grifo de la cocina salía marrón y no había máquinas expendedoras para comprar agua, aunque nos dijeron que iban a poner. No teníamos cepillo para barrer. A pesar de estos inconvenientes las ventajas merecen mucho la pena. Nos vamos con ganas de volver

Locatie!Dit was een zware teleurstelling. Het is een schijnbedrieglijke presentatie van een onbewoonbare, onhygiënische en oncomfortabele plek. Ik raad dit verblijf absoluut af.

Dit verblijf in Marbella was een absolute nachtmerrie waarvoor ik 1412 euro heb betaald voor een krot. De kamer was piepklein en voelde direct als een graf; het bed bestond uit een klein matras op poten tegen een koude, harde muur, waarbij het matras constant van de poten afschuifde, de kussens zo slap.Door dit slechte bed en kussens heb ik overal pijn in mijn rug en nek. De airconditioning werkte niet, en toen ik hier twee keer om hulp vroeg, werden we behandeld door extreem arrogante en onbeleefde medewerkers die totaal niet wilde helpen. De staat van het appartement is deplorabel en de foto's op Booking.com komen totaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. De vloer heeft kapotte terracotta tegels en de keuken is oud, vies en vol bacteriën. Ook de rest van het appartement was in slechte staat met een kapotte zetel, een bad met schimmel en een toilet vol roest. Zelfs de borstel en het wasrek waren zwaar verroest. Daarnaast was er sprake van aanzienlijke geluidsoverlast en de schoonmaak was ook ver te zoeken; er werd niet om de twee dagen gekuist, wat absoluut niet de standaard is die wordt beloofd.

Recently back from a two week holiday to Marbella, staying at Skol Apartments, in Apt 350. My partner found this building/apartment on Booking.com, and having stayed in the building before, she chose it based on its location. The Room Our apartment (Skol 350) was pretty good overall, clean and quite modern. It was a two bedroom apartment so my partners daughter had her own bedroom (with bunkbeds), and our bedroom had en-suite so she even had her own bathroom to use. Air-con in the main bedroom and lounge/kitchen area, and a kitchenette with everything you could need (Sink, Hob, Dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, toaster and plenty of tableware. There were 2 smart TV’s, one on the main bedroom and one in the lounge, with mainly foreign channels, but able to use your own accounts for streaming services. The balcony was decent enough and featured a washing machine and drying rack. However, there was a glazed wall above the balcony rail which on the photographs was fully open with panels stacked at one end. When we arrived, the panels were extended across the balcony with only one panel open and a sign which appeared to have been there a while, advising not to touch the panels as they were ‘broken’. So for the two weeks, it was difficult to sit on the balcony in the later afternoon or evening, as it was like sitting in a greenhouse. We did report this to the booking company who sent a maintenance man, but even he was unable to open the panels. This was the only thing that spoiled our stay in Skol 350, as had we known the balcony was almost enclosed, we would have booked a different apartment. The bedrooms had sliding pocket doors, and the lock on the main bedroom door was stuck solid, but the maintenance man did manage to fix that. The en-suite door also had water damage at the bottom and had swelled, which made it difficult to open, but this wasn’t able to be sorted easily so we lived with it. The external shutter to the main bedroom was also difficult to close at night. There was no housekeeping during our two week stay, but having the washing machine, we didn’t expect it and washed our own towels and bedding as necessary. The Building and Pool Areas The buildings themselves look a little dated (I believe this is an old apartment block), but they aren’t falling apart and generally clean and maintained. There were 3 lifts in our block and the two we used were pretty reliable. There are three pools… a shallow kids pool, a family pool where inflatables are allowed, and a second large pool where kids are allowed but not with pool toys. There are plenty of sunbeds and they have to be rented costing 3 euros per bed, per day. Not bad compared to 10 euros on the beach. However despite signs, people did still claim beds with towels and then not use them until later in the day. Annoying. There is also a small snack bar for food and drinks, but the opening hours were quite sporadic. The sign said 8am – 8pm in summer, but then some days it was closed all day. When it was open, the service was good and the prices not too bad. Location Skol is in an excellent location, literally right on the Paseo, which is a lovely walk, as well as only 10-15min walk from the Old Town. We had booked a parking space for our hire car, in a car park which was just behind Skol, but not connected. This was very convenient. Overall We enjoyed our stay at Skol, and the location is prefect. The balcony issue was unfortunate, but my partner complained and she got refunded an amount of money for the inconveniences (mentioned above), which was good of the property owners, and hopefully they will sort out the glass panels so they can be opened in the summer. I have read some other comments, and what they don’t seem to make clear, is that Skol is generally all private apartments. Some with live-in residents, but lots of them are privately owned and rented as holiday lets through booking companies. Therefore, to read terrible reviews which seems quite general is unfair – they will be specific to their apartment, as is mine. Any reviews should state the apartment number as I have, which makes it a lot clearer. For its location, would definitely stay at Skol Apartments again, but would ask questions about particular apartments again, to ensure things are as advertised before booking.

Comfortable, the balcony looking down on the swimming pools, looking at the sea. I loved it. I wanted to stay forever. Amazing location. I could see the fireworks in Peurto Banus from my balcony. Listening to the waves as I lay in bed at night, having my morning coffee on the balcony gazing at the Mediterranean Sea it was bliss.

The people in reception were not very knowledgeable. I asked about Virgen Del Carmen, the patron saint of sailors and fishermen. This is an annual festival but they were unable to give me any information. They didn’t seem to know anything about the procession through the streets????

We had an amazing stay! Everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was great, and we truly felt at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

El alojamiento es maravilloso, los apartamentos están geniales, muy nuevos y con todo lo necesario, tienen lavadora, plancha, secador de pelo, lavavajillas… estaban muy limpios y nuevos. La zona de piscina y jardín es alucinante, sobre todo si vas con niños, tiene 3 piscinas bastante amplias, y un bar en la piscina con buenos precios y un servicio excelente. Desde la piscina accedes directamente al paseo marítimo. Es de las mejores estancias en cuanto a apartamento se refiere en el que nos hemos quedado.

No le pongo ningún fallo, si hay que tener en cuenta que las hamacas de la piscina valen 3€, el primer día nos pillo un poco de imprevisto porque no lo habíamos leído, pero vamos que 3€ en unas vacaciones es un precio simbólico. Así que sin problema.

PLease Read Becore Booking The accommodation provided was wholly unacceptable and, in my view, constituted a breach of contract and a failure to provide accommodation that matched the description, photographs and standard used to market the property. The photographs and description were highly misleading and did not accurately represent the condition, quality, layout or standard of the apartment that was provided. Furthermore, the management appeared to confuse self-catering with self-cleaning. Guests were expected to wash, dry and replace all towels and bed linen, make the beds themselves because no housekeeping or cleaning service was provided during the stay, and purchase additional toilet rolls after only three complimentary rolls were supplied. These expectations were not made sufficiently clear prior to booking and fall well below the standard a reasonable customer would expect. From the moment we arrived, it was immediately apparent that the apartment fell significantly below the standard advertised. It was dated, poorly maintained and permeated by a severe and overpowering foist smell throughout, making it unpleasant to occupy. The odour was so strong that we had to keep the patio doors and windows open for much of our stay in an attempt to ventilate the apartment. On the second day of our holiday, I felt so unwell that I was unable to leave the apartment. The apartment had also not been properly prepared for our arrival. The third bed had not been made up despite the booking clearly being for three guests. This caused immediate inconvenience and demonstrated a failure to undertake even the most basic preparation expected before paying guests arrive. Prior to the holiday, I also experienced concerning conduct from the management team. After I had paid the outstanding balance in full, Skol Apartments emailed me stating that I owed almost a further £1,000. Just a couple of hours later, they sent another email stating that I instead owed an additional £770. These contradictory demands caused unnecessary stress and significantly undermined my confidence in the management company before the holiday had even begun. During our stay, I was subjected to unacceptable conduct by members of the management team. Daniela suggested that I was fabricating my disability simply because I requested that the third bed be made up, something that should already have been completed before our arrival. Daniela had never met me, had no knowledge whatsoever of my medical conditions, disabilities or the daily challenges I face, yet still felt able to make assumptions regarding my disability. As a registered disabled person, I found these comments deeply offensive, discriminatory and extremely distressing. Two men attended the apartment on separate occasions, ostensibly to deliver a toaster and towels. During these visits, together with the conduct of the management, I felt intimidated, vulnerable and uncomfortable within the accommodation that I had paid to occupy. In addition, Vincenzo dismissed my legitimate concerns by telling me to STOP complaining, despite the numerous issues that had been raised regarding the condition of the apartment. Rather than attempting to resolve matters professionally, the management repeatedly adopted an argumentative and confrontational approach, demonstrating very poor customer service and a complete lack of professionalism. I became increasingly concerned that the management at Skol Apartments were inconsistent in their communications by changing what had previously been said or agreed and failing to follow through on assurances they had given. The apartment itself bore little resemblance to the accommodation advertised. Instead of the modern apartment shown in the listing, it featured outdated dark terracotta flooring, a heavily stained and soiled fabric sofa concealed beneath throws, an enclosed kitchen hidden behind an old plaster archway with dated patterned border tiles, basic metal bedframes positioned against bare walls without headboards, stained curtains and generally tired, worn furnishings throughout. Hygiene Failures The standard of cleanliness was unacceptable. Every fabric dining chair cushion was heavily discoloured with deep stains and watermarks. Several kitchen appliances were dirty and unhygienic, leaving us unwilling to prepare meals in the apartment. We had deliberately booked self-catering accommodation so that we could prepare our own meals. However, because of the overwhelming foist smell, together with the unhygienic condition of the kitchen appliances, we felt unable to use the kitchen safely. As a result, we incurred significant additional expense by eating out for almost every meal. We even had to purchase our own bowls, cups and cutlery simply to manage basic breakfasts consisting of cereal. We also found ourselves cleaning the apartment throughout the holiday simply to make it reasonably habitable. By the time we departed, we had left the apartment in a considerably cleaner condition than when we arrived. Structural Deterioration The apartment exhibited significant deterioration throughout, including extensive wood chipping exposing particle board on door frames and cabinetry, permanent burn marks on white furniture, broken floor-level plinths, bubbling and flaking ceiling plaster caused by underlying water damage, and damaged bedroom flooring with missing sections exposing mismatched sub-flooring beneath. Mechanical and Safety Concerns The wall-mounted air conditioning unit was actively leaking dark brown liquid down its front panel, indicating prolonged neglect and creating an unhygienic indoor environment. There was also an open hole within the bathroom fitting exposing raw electrical wiring, presenting what appeared to be a significant electrical safety hazard. Bathroom Deterioration The shower enclosure frame exhibited extensive corrosion, severe oxidation and thick limescale deposits, demonstrating prolonged neglect and poor maintenance. Damaged Balcony The balcony itself was in poor condition. The base structure was heavily corroded and one of the glass balcony panels was cracked, creating both an unsightly appearance and a potential safety concern. Taken individually, each of these issues would have been concerning. Collectively, they created accommodation that was uncomfortable, unhygienic, poorly maintained and substantially different from that advertised. Having to remain in these conditions for seven nights had a significant adverse impact on our comfort, wellbeing and enjoyment of the holiday and caused considerable distress, disappointment and inconvenience to my family. Rather than enjoying the holiday we had paid for, we were forced to spend valuable holiday time repeatedly contacting the management company, documenting evidence and attempting to obtain assistance. The issues were raised promptly after our arrival, giving Skol Apartments ample opportunity to investigate and remedy the situation. Despite repeated complaints, the defects remained unresolved throughout our stay. I acted reasonably at every stage to mitigate my losses by raising formal complaints immediately with the management team. Unfortunately, instead of dealing with the issues professionally, they responded in an argumentative, confrontational and aggressive manner, demonstrating very poor customer service and little genuine intention to resolve the problems. Finally, it became apparent during our stay that guests were required to pay an additional €3 per day each to use a sun lounger by the swimming pool. Throughout much of the day, the pool area is also partially shaded. I could not find any reference to this additional charge in the booking information or property literature prior to travelling. Any additional charges of this nature should be clearly disclosed before booking so that consumers can make an informed decision. Given the overall circumstances, including the unacceptable condition of the accommodation, the misleading advertising, the failure to provide accommodation matching that advertised, the numerous hygiene, maintenance and safety concerns, the additional costs we incurred, the failure to resolve the issues despite repeated complaints, the intimidating behaviour I experienced, the offensive comments regarding my disability, and the management’s failure to provide an adequate resolution despite repeated opportunities to do so. Based on my experience, I would urge prospective guests to exercise EXTREME caution before booking this accommodation. It is, by a considerable margin, the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. What is particularly disappointing is not only the condition of the apartment itself, but the hostile, confrontational and dismissive manner in which the management responded when legitimate concerns were raised. Rather than attempting to resolve the issues, they appeared to consider their conduct acceptable, which only compounded an already extremely distressing experience.

Other that location there was nothing about this apartment that I liked . There wasn’t a remodel control for the tv . The paint on the walls was bubbling of !! There was not even a toaster or egg cups . It was the worse apartment I’ve ever stayed in . First night I arrived I was woken up at 2am !! They were power washing the walls . I can easily say I will never stay in skol apartments again

The fact that the appartment was close to all amenities and the beach were amazing.

Thought apartment could do with being updated as was quite dated. The balcony glass was severely cracked in several places and would not have wanted children out there. Was worried my husband would fall as he has dementia. Also think sunbeds should have been free in the garden

Lager ist super und Zimmer war auch sauber. Wir haben niemand gesehen und getroffen, aber diejenige war hilfsbereit. Wir waren ein bisschen spät dran hat der Schlüssel in Information gelassen, hat alles gepasst.

Beautiful apartment. Delightful sunny balcony. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Very clean. Close access to the swimming pools,a short walk through a gate to the beach and the walkway promenade. Brilliant location to the shops, restaurant and Orange Square. Keys were left at reception for us as we had a late arrival,which was very helpful. Loved our short break here and would stay again. ❤️

We've been going to Skol for over 10 years and it's like a home from home. We stay for three months Feb,March and April. We love the location, easy walking distance to the old town, shopping, beach and an array of amazing shops and restaurants. Skol has so many repeat customers from all over the world and we are the Canadian group. Every year there are at least 25 of us who stay at skol from three weeks to three months. Our booking agents are Daniela and Vincenzo and are always there to help, in fact we have been going to Skol for so long now that they are more like our Spanish cousins. We had a fab apt. this year, east facing over the harbour and Med. but also views of the Sierra Blanca. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the sunbeds are only three euros a day. Lots of things to do in Marbella thats why we keep going back year after year.

Malheureusement j’ai loué une voiture, ils n’y as pas de parking pour les clients de la résidence. Ce prendre 2 contravention à 50€ cela fait un peut mal au portefeuille, c’est le seul points négatifs.

Nous avons loué cet appartement pour 15 jours en famille avec de jeunes enfants, et avons été confrontés à une infestation de cafards dès le début du séjour : dans la cuisine, dans le tiroir à couverts (avec présence d’œufs), et même un cafard retrouvé dans mon café. Malgré nos signalements répétés, le propriétaire n’a pas apporté de solution efficace. Pire encore, il a insinué que nous exagérions pour obtenir une réduction, ce qui est totalement faux. À 3 jours de la fin du séjour, il nous a proposé de partir avec nos 3 enfants en bas âge, sans solution alternative ni compensation. Aucune remise ni geste commercial n’a été proposé, malgré l’insalubrité évidente du logement. Une expérience très désagréable que je ne souhaite à personne.

The appartment was ideally situated - restaurants and shops within a 1 minute walk! Any additional questions eg Wifi code, were answered immediately. There were more than enough sunbeds arounds the selection of pools, and there was even a poolside cafe!

Nothing - the apartment was excellent value for money. We had the most relaxing time. We were able to walk to the old town within 10 minutes and to everywhere else even quicker!

apartment is awful, dirty, old, not renovated, super small for 3 adults, devices are out of order, washing machine and the drying machine are dirty, smelly and full of dust (dryer). Kitchen devices not working, living room size for 2 peple at the most! AND BEDROOMS - shame on you with advertisement for 3 bedrooms... these are not rooms, at the best they are submarine capsules!!! The beds are broken...
