Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Súper Service. Die Zimmer sind klein (wie beschrieben) und functional eingerichtet. Tipps und Hinweise zu allem Ausflugszielen gibt es direkt vom Personal. Es ist sehr ruhig.
Wir würden nachstes wohl auf die obere Etage setzen mit Balkon und Blick über die Berge, Schiksal der Last Minute Bucher war das Erdgeschoss😜

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026The staff were super friendly and helpful. The balcony had an incredible view over the mountains and made the room such a pleasant space to be in.
Would recommend going the slightly less direct route to the town square to avoid the super steep hill. Our other accommodations in Colombia have offered drinking water which was very much appreciated. It's for sale here in 500ml bottles though so you won't be stuck.

The balcony room is on top of the reception which is busy. The windows are wood panels, not stopping any noise. Even with ear plugs, the nights were hard to sleep. The price is too high for the value.

En especial, Yuranis fue muy amable y nos hizo muchas recomendaciones de lugares para visitar en Salento y sus alrededores, especialmente la Reserva Natural La Carbonera. Gracias a sus sugerencias pudimos conocer lugares muy especiales y disfrutar aún más nuestro viaje. ¡Muy recomendado!

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026The location is great. Close to the main square but blissfully quiet at night. The shower was hot - very important in a place like Salento after a day of trekking and/or getting caught in the rain. My room was lovely and quiet and the staff were really helpful - even giving me a shoe brush and bucket to clean my mud-caked hiking boots.
I didn't realise there was no breakfast! The kitchen's pretty well equipped but the fridge in my room didn't work and wasn't fixed across my five day stay. I am also an early riser but quite often there wasn't coffee available until 7.30/8, by which time I had left for the day. The wifi was also temperamental but I think that could have been due to work happening in the main square.

Leider haben wir wenig Ruhe gehabt in der Nacht, da die Frau von der Rezeption bis spät abends laut private Telefonate geführt hat und unser Zimmer im EG neben der Rezeption war. Generell war das Personal etwas „unnötig“ laut zu sehr späten oder frühen Stunden. (Laute Handy Töne, private Telefonate, lautstarke Gespräche)

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026in einer ruhigen Strasse ganz in der Nähe des Hauptplatzes. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Es hatte eine kleinen Fön und genug Wasser. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war nicht besonders 😉 aber zweckmässig. kann die Unterkunft empfehlen!
Die Zimmertüre war etwas lädiert - habe daher mein Gepäck zusätzlich mit einem Schloss gesichert, man weiss ja nie…

This staff is around the corner all day and art, all were very friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee in the public citchen is for free, which is great.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026Casa Bonbon is very close to the central plaza of Salento, so the location is excellent. The place is calm and quiet, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. From the plaza, you have many options for excursions (for example, Cocora Valley!), but simply walking around the town and the surrounding nature is also very beautiful. There are many nice places to eat nearby and beautiful views all around. The room was basic but comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was clean as well.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best view from our room, but as soon as you step outside Casa Bonbon, the scenery is absolutely beautiful.

La desventaja es el ruido, las habitaciones dan hacia la calle y se escucha los carros y motos cuando pasan Durante el día y la noche; igualmente dentro del hospedaje se escucha lo de las otras habitaciones, cuando caminan, cierran puertas, hablan, etc. Pero en general lo recomiendo

You have to be patient with the hot water, the boiler takes 1-2 minutes to turn on. If you travel with a car, you'll have to drive around quite a bit to find a parking spot and budget some extra pesos for it.

Que para saber lo del parqueadero toda mirar bien, porque en el coso principal dice parqueadero incluido y no en suplemento, deberían cambiar eso, porque después si dice que parqueadero en suplemento pero al no escribir esto en la página principal, Booking no hace bien el filtro, lo cuenta como que tiene parqueadero en el sitio y no aparte en suplemento

Reviewed Dec 24, 2025Se encuentra ubicado a una calle de la plaza central de Salento. Es un hotel pequeñito pero muy completo. Llegamos antes de la hora, tras un viaje en bus de 7 horas, y nos dejaron realizar el check in y se agradeció con el cansancio que traíamos.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et jolies (même si on en a pris trois sans vue sur la montagne). Le personnel est très accueillant et ils donnent des informations précises sur les activités à faire. Le ménage est fait tous les jours et contrairement à certains commentaires qu'on a pu lire on a pas eu de problèmes avec l'eau chaude
