A lovely Hôtel, beautiful decor with very comfy beds. We stayed 2 nights to celebrate a big birthday and we couldn’t have chosen a nicer place. It’s very central, walking distance to everything. There is parking just around the corner but we chose to park in the underground parking because this is what we saw first, and was just a five minute walk. Parking costs were really responsible too, 4pm to 10am the next morning cost us just over €10, bargain. The owners of the hotel are lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you and Nathan who was front of house when we arrived was also super friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely time, we will definitely be back, and to anyone reading this review, stay here, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

Markus, formerly known as 21 Foch, just opened. It is a lovely 14-bedroom, boutique hotel. A coffee shop and beautiful outdoor space is slated for completion by September 2025, but guests may partake of breakfast onsite before then. The hotel is close to the train station, and centrally located to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Despite proximity to the city landscape, the facility is quiet and peaceful. My room and the common areas were meticulously clean. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The beds are comfortable, the towels are thick, and amenities such as coffee, tea, and water are readily available. I would return here again and again!

Séjour fantastique dans un hôtel rénové et décoré avec soin. Chambre avec literie de qualité, placards, coffre-fort, climatisation, tv, accès libre à la presse de manière digitale, café, thé et douceurs proposés sur les paliers. Situation en plein centre ville avec une isolation phonique parfaite.

The hotel location is good, I’m walking distance to the train station and the city center. Lots of restaurants around. The lobby was getting painted at the time we arrived, making the access difficult. Room was clean and spacious; but did not have any fridge or tea making facility, which was a letdown for us.

Lovely hotel with great access to all transport requirements. Flat walk from station or you can get tram to front door almost. The room was beautiful and breakfast was made to order. Great service and very friendly staff made our stay for 2 nights, very enjoyable.

Très bon séjour. Hitel très bien situé .Literie très confortable .chambre très agréable . Seuls bémols : l’écologie c’est bien mais la savon pour les mains vide au 2/3 et idem pour la douche ( pas de shampoing) c’est plutôt eco qu’eco-logique. Un petit plus pour l’hôtel serait un bouquet de chaînes plus étoffé que juste la TNT .

Nous avions la chambre S et cela nous a largement suffit pour notre séjour de 2 nuits. Malgré sa proximité du boulevard Foch, l'hôtel est très bien insonorisé et nous n'avons donc pas été dérangés par la circulation. L'accueil est tous simplement parfait. Le propriétaire a pris le temps de nous conseiller pour les visites. L'hôtel est très bien décoré et avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit déjeuner était également parfait du début à la fin. Produits locaux de très grande qualité. Service à table par le propriétaire donc pas bruyant comme dans les hôtels type Ibis. La propreté de l'hôtel et de la chambre était au top. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous y retournerons avec plaisir :)

So far so good. Proprietor is very nice and helpful. We have never traveled to France before so did not know customs. He has been very considerate! We have had a wonderful experience so far. We have checked out the castle of tapestry and the statues of David Angers, plus wandered around and found a small antique shop.

Nice room with very modern decor. Easy to find and well located to see the city. Only very minor gripe was a 16.00 check in, but that was made clear when we booked so it was easy to work around.

A wonderful boutique hotel with just 14 rooms over 3 floors. Breakfast at 16€ was worth every penny. Croissants, pain au chocolates, baguettes, with fresh orange juice, cremate (a local specialty) fruit salad, charcuterie and local cheese. Room was spacious with high quality linen and a modern bathroom. Glazed windows with no sound transfer from the street.

Week end en amoureux à Angers. Hotel idéalement situé proche de la gare et du centre ville (cathédrale, place du ralliement, restaurants. Nous avons réservé une chambre L, taille idéale, deco moderne, propreté impeccable. L'hotel se trouve dans un batiment ancien renové, le long du boulevard mais l'isolation phonique est bonne. On entend un peu la circulation le matin mais c'est lointain. Le petit dejeuner est copieux et excellent, servi dans la belle salle du restaurant. Bonne expérience.

I loved the chill vibe, modern upbeat design, and quiet classiness of the hotel. The location was central to visit the best of Angers by foot. I was disappointed that I could not understand french well enough to know that breakfast was sit down only. Even thought there were some guests in the room there was no sign of staff or coffee so I didn’t stay. One must learn patience in french restaurants.

Apres un check in laborieux, nous avons pu avoir notre chambre. Tres grand lit, salle de bain bien, la place des toilette est minus. L'hôtel est bien situé par rapport a la vielle ville de Angers. Malheureusement L'hôtel est juste au dessus d'un pub Irlandais .... Check out tres bien, merci pour les cafés

Très bon hôtel confortable et très propre. La literie est très confortable et c’est décoré avec goût. L’endroit est calme en plein centre ville. Le petit dej est top ! Le seul bémol serait les rideaux la nuit qui ne sont pas assez occultants et laisse pénétrer la lumière.

The proprietor does a wonderful job of managing this hotel. It was simple, clean, comfortable, and just what we needed for one night in Angers. No complaints at all. The name of the hotel is after the street where it is located; in fact, it is the address. Simple! Angers is a delightful city with much to offer. Highly recommend!

Nice, small hotel centrally located in Angers. Parking is behind the hotel in a public parking garage. We arrived late, past 8 PM, but the restaurant's waiter helped us get in. BTW the restaurant was memorably wonderful, good that we had that waiter and good that we met the chef. we ordered the "5 item plate" but each dish was a surprise, beautiful to look at and delicious.

We had the most glorious 2 night at Hotel 21 Foch! And, we had not even planned on stopping in Angers! We are SO glad we did. Thank you Thomas and staff! LOVELY meal, lovely hotel!

This boutique hotel is very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable in the center of town, close to restaurants, museums, etc. The staff is very hospitable.

There was a restaurant or bar near the hotel and we could smell the cigarette smoke through our windows. Otherwise the room was comfortable, roomy and near the castle.

Great location, lovely rooms and fantastic staff. Angers has a lot to offer. Unfortunately we went in August and so like many cities many of the restaurants were closed.

Excellent hotel with very nice, clean, modern rooms with friendly helpful staff. But it’s a little hard to find. The hotel signage is very small. But the location once you find it is great!! Near the historic district and lots of night activity.

the unexpected 2 story suite was charming. Convenient location on s ,Ian street but room was very quiet. Parking was an issue. Street parking started at 9. Parking garage around the corner. All in all would recommend

Spacious room, recently remodeled with nice furnishings. The downside is the entrance and lack of a lobby. There is a call button that no one answered, but we were able to get in as someone was leaving. There was no one on the "lobby" area at 3 in the afternoon and we had to look up the phone number to call some one to check us in. Otherwise, a nice accommodation.

Excellent hotel, huge rooms and huge, comfortable bed. Very clean and stylish, as is the whole hotel. Breakfast was excellent- freshly made. Location of the hotel is very good - 2 streets away from the centre/old town. Plenty of parking in nearby multistory (About 6 Euro for our stay) Only minor point I can think of : there is no minibar, room service or tea./coffee facilities in the room.

This hotel is a delight. Stylish and beautiful to look at, comfortable and immaculately clean. The breakfast was an experience- so glad we chose to eat in the hotel- with a sound track to remember.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The gentleman that helped us was absolutely amazing. Room was VERY clean and anything we needed was taken care of. Would highly recommend a stay here, right in the heart of downtown Angers
