A beautiful property that has great dining. The Library Bar might be Top 10 in the world. The only disappointment was no cold plunge or sauna on property. The spa was down for remodeling.

We stayed at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Grand Cayman from Sept 15–19, 2025. The property is beautiful, clean, and exactly what you expect from a luxury resort, but I’m giving 3 stars due to how uncomfortable I felt after how a situation was handled. On our first night, we had a cigarette on the balcony without knowing there was a no-smoking policy. The next morning, we received a letter stating there would be a $350 charge per incident if we smoked again — fair enough, we understood. The next day while napping, Charlie from the front desk called to say we were smoking again and that security was watching our balcony. This was disturbing since my wife has a disability and we spend a lot of time outside. When I went to the desk to explain, Charlie changed the story several times — first saying security saw us, then that a guest above us complained (we were on the top floor), then that neighbors complained (there were hardly any guests at the hotel). From that point forward I felt my privacy had been violated. I didn’t allow housekeeping in my room and avoided the balcony. Other issues: construction noise from the pool bar started at 9 a.m., and the concierge gave us incorrect excursion times (luckily we were early or we would have missed them). Positives: Nick at the beach was excellent, as were the bell staff and quick room service. But overall, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed for a resort of this level.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at the Seafire. The staff was amazing from the moment we checked in, to Daniele on the beach to staff in the restaurant at breakfast and those at valet parking. Our room was beautiful a walkin shower was divine. We will definitely return!

The property is very welcoming, with professional and helpful staff. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which I really appreciated. The swimming pool was closed for two days, but the hotel kindly removed the related charges. At breakfast, I would suggest adding kiwi and avocado, which I personally missed. The beach, gym, leisure facilities, and overall atmosphere are beautiful and relaxing. The sea is simply stunning! 🌊

The most beautiful resort!

We visited the Kimpton Seafire with our 2 kids and it was the most perfect vacation. The resort was beautifully kept and so clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The beach is just steps away and is breath taking. Our kids also enjoyed the onsite water park which was well kept as well. We will definitely come back in the future.

The Kimpton Seafire Grand Cayman was handsdown the best resort I have ever stayed at. From the check in experience to guest services to dining, housekeeping and all. I would HIGHLY reccommend.

Great location! The beach is amazing. The pool is nice with outdoor games available by the pool. The staff is friendly and wonderful. The food taste good at every restaurant we tried. Lobby happy hour with wine and food is a nice touch. The small issues I had were addressed by management wonderfully. First time at a Kimpton, and I was impressed.

Another lovely stay. The accommodations, resort, the people - all top notch. Highly recommend.

I love how the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Staff are amazing. The pool is cleaned daily as well. The only down side is the restaurant by the beach doesn’t have a big menu. If you are not into tacos and Latin flavor food, you will have to go outside for food.

Amazing resort we keep coming back to, one of best beaches in the Caribbean, amazing food (not cheap but very good 👍) , attentive staff, everyone is trained by best customer service standards. Clean rooms. We had no problems whatsoever. Few tips: They provided sunscreen near the pool and at the beach, so no need to take yours with you unless you want to. Water in reusable bottles also provided. At 5-6pm wine 🍷 and snacks provided daily (social hour in the lobby) for free. In the morning free coffee and tea provided as well. We would 100% recommend this property. Our kids loved it as much as we did. (Their sister property Indigo is very close too if you want to check out more budget friendly option but same high standards as IHG providing.)

I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some honest feedback regarding my experience. While I had previously stayed at a Kimpton hotel in Seattle and had a great experience, this visit unfortunately did not meet those expectations. This trip was meant to celebrate a special birthday, which was noted in my reservation, yet there was no acknowledgement of the occasion at any point during my stay. More concerning were the following issues: Hygiene and Cleanliness: I reported seeing a mouse in my room and was told it was "just a lizard," which felt dismissive and inappropriate. I also raised concerns about what appeared to be bed bug bites. I was told they were likely insect bites, and although I was informed an investigation took place, no one followed up until I reached out again. I was told there were no bed bugs, but no further explanation was offered. Unavailable Amenities: I was charged a resort fee, yet several amenities were not accessible. Floating rafts were unavailable (checked out and never returned), no bicycles were available for rent, and it was impossible to get even three lounge chairs together at the pool or beach. Inconsistent Service: Turn-down service was not provided on two nights. I spent a great deal of time calling the front desk and waiting for updates or callbacks that rarely came. In the end, I gave up following up as I didn’t want to waste more of my vacation on basic service issues. I’m disappointed that my concerns were repeatedly

Just WOW. Everything was simply exceptional about this Resort. It is on a pricey side, however, the facilities, staff, happy hour, amazing beach, good food and a great location made it worth the money and we will come back. The room was large and exceptional.

There is only one lunch option on property. This restaurant also provides pool and beach service. After a few days, this is no longer appetizing. It would be great to have other options pool/beachside. Even if just room service menu

This was a relaxing stay. It was clean the beach is awesome and ALL staff that I encountered were pleasant. What a sweet stay! I will be back!!!!!

Kimpton Seafire exceeded all expectations. The one and ONLY bad thing which is probably mostly out of their control were the roosters … there was a 4am wake up call DAILY with those boys. But even with that I would still stay at the kimpton anytime I come back to grad Caymen. If I could give 100 stars I would!!! Such a personalized experience with top service <3

Birthday Bash at Kimpton Seafire was amazing! This hotel has the best amenities like poolside & beach side drink & food service. Mario (?) at the omelet station in the breakfast venue is serving up epic omelets and the welcome treats upon check in are stellar. The rooms are clean, bed comfy, breakfast yummy. Our family will be back to Kimpton.

My only con is the pool is very small and the adult pool is extremely small. My husband and i are empty nesters and there were SO many young kids that you just can’t get away from

the bottom of pool is extremelt scratchy. all of us (6 people) have scrapes from the bottom of pool. Kiddo couldn't do more snorkeling because seawater stung because of the scrapes Also food options very limited. I wish they would have more plant-based options. it's 2025!

I have no words to express what a wonderful hotel experience we had! The hotel rooms were very modern, spacious and clean. The balcony was enormous and we had beautiful views of the ocean. Each and every staff member was incredibly friendly - they went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. A special shout-out to all the staff at Ave, Avecita and Cocoloba Restaurants for their outstanding service! PS - Maryion made the best omlettes! Kavita, a co-manager, made sure every detail was looked after in a speedy manner. We would come back in a heartbeat! This was our first trip to the grand cayaman islands. The Kimpton is a beautiful resort with amazing service. The service/hotel staff were kind and friendly. The beach was clean and free of sargassum. Beach service was great. The water was calm. There were included non-motorized sports, umbrella/chairs, and sun screen with the resort free. The pools were clean and again great service. There are small areas for zero entry. There is a ping pong table by the pool. There is a splash pad near the beach. The food at the restaraunts was good but of course resort/island prices. We enjoyed eating off property. Need car or taxi. Free coffee in AM. Free Wine hour and caprisun/fruit snacks from 5-6.
