Beach Hotel Du Lac Malcesine

Fantastic views across the lake from room, balcony and dining area/bar. Great location slightly away from main centre, with easy walk along the lake to town (10-15 mins). Food and drink very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast very good. Rooms comfortable all necessary amenities and those fantastic views if paying for a suite facing towards the lake.

Decor a little dated, but not off putting in a significant way.

Sehr gute und schöne Lage am See. Hotel wirkte nicht überlaufen. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Saubere Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und Klima. Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Unser Zimmer war etwas klein. Wenn möglich Zimmer mit Seeblick buchen. Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet: direkt am See und etwas außerhalb des Trubels im Zentrum. Frühstück war reichhaltig: frisch zubereitete Eiergerichte im Wechsel mit Crepes. Zwar nur Kochschinken, aber zusätzlich direkt Aufgeschnittenes wie Bündnerfleisch oder Salami Toll war auch die große Anzahl an Parkmöglichkeiten

Leider waren die Matratzen sehr hart bzw waren darauf "Knöpfe" wie bei tapezierten Sofas, die sehr unangenehm waren.

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage aber der Ort ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber.

Das Frühstück war eher schlicht, eintönig und nicht abwechslungsreich.

Sehr gute Lage direkt an der Promenade am See .Schöner Pool oberhalb des Hotels. Kaffee + Kuchen nachmittags kostenlos für die Hausgäste ( etwas versteckt :-( Großer Balkon mit Seeblick .

Defekte Bodenfliesen im Restaurant . Alte, teilweise defekte Matten für die Liegen am Pool . Duschtüre im Bad undicht .

Cudowne miejsce w fantastycznej lokalizacji. Zajmowaliśmy ładny pokój z balkonem i widokiem na basen oraz góry. Nie przeszkadzała bliskość drogi, parkingu. Pokój czysty, przestronny. Klimatyzacja działała sprawnie mimo ogromnych upałów. Parking przy hotelu. Hotel kameralny i rodzinny. Bardzo dobre śniadania.

The hotel is well situated . The view from our lake facing room was fabulous. Michael is very friendly and always and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location is the highlight of the place. You can swim right in front of the hotel, and there are lounging chairs where you can relax. The views during breakfast are also a highlight, as is having drinks while watching the sunset. We swam in the pool every day, which was really nice as well. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center, and the walk is always enjoyable. We had a car and found parking easily every day. The rooms are not modern or renovated; however, this didn't affect our stay since everything you actually need is available. We knew this beforehand because the pictures are accurate, so the room was exactly what we were expecting. Just keep it in mind if you care about a more modern look. I would definitely go back, but next time I would reserve a room with a view, even if it costs more. I think it's worth it and is a big part of the experience. Our choice of a basic room was the only thing I would change.

toller Strandzugang direkt am Hotel, Violine beim Frühstück wegen eines Feiertags & ein wahnsinnig angenehmer Pool! Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auch über die Garage und die Klimaanlage waren wir froh! Zu empfehlen.

vielleicht müsste der Whirlpool etwas öfters gereinigt werden & die Rolläden im Zimmer waren etwas kaputt- hat uns aber nicht gestört, da auch gute Vorhänge angebracht waren :)

Die Lage direkt am See war sensationell. Zimmer waren ausreichend groß und die Klimaanlage hat suoer funktioniert (August). Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Ein freier Parkplatz war immer vorhanden.

Der Fehrnsehempfang auf dem Zimmer war nicht optimal.

Piękna lokalizacja, czystość, przyjazny personel. Super, duży (z 2 leżakami, 2 fotelami i stolikiem kawowym) taras z cudownym bezposrednim widokiem na jezioro. Cudowne miejsce na spokojny wypoczynek, jednocześnie blisko w odległosći 10-15 minutowego romantycznego spokoju do centrum: sklepow, restauracji, zamku. POLECAM.

Trochę skromne śniadanie, ale piekny taras śniadaniowy i widok na jezioro i góry rekompensuje.

La qualità della struttura sotto certi aspetti non è da 4 stelle. La qualità del ristorante è appena discreta. La pulizia così così, le ragnatele e gli insetti in terrazza, lo specchio non proprio pulito.

Die Lage des Hotels, der Ausblick, das super freundliche Personal. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Mein Mann hatte während unseres Aufenthalt Geburtstag. Zum Frühstück gab es eine liebe Deko am Tisch und eine kleine Überraschung. Das hat ihn/uns wahnsinnig gefreut. Wir haben den Balkon zum relaxen und das tägliche Frühstück auf der Terrasse direkt am See genossen.

Had a great stay, I was able to upgrade to a standard double room with pool view. Hotel was in a great location right on the lake front. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was really good, lots of different things to choose from. Would definitely recommend.

Tolle Lage, extrem freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und die Klimaanlage war bei rund 30-35°C Außentemperatur der Hammer. Gerne wieder!

...die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und das Frühstück bot alles was man braucht. Wir waren mit Hund dort und fühlten uns herzlich willkommen.

Great hotel with amazing view from the rooms. The entire staff is very nice and helpful, especially the team at the restaurant. Michel from the front office was very welcoming.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am See, nur durch die Uferpromenade getrennt. Terrassenkaffe /Restaurant am See mit ganztags Service. Das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich im oberen Stock mit großer möblierter Terrasse zur Seeseite. Insgesamt ein sehr freundlicher Service von allen Mitarbeitern des Hotels. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Swimmingpool groß genug zum schwimmen. Auch hier bequeme Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Eigener Steg am See. Ruhige Lage, da Uferstraße oberhalb des Hotels verläuft und man daher nichts vom Autoverkehr hört.

The location and views are exceptionally beautiful, with a very pleasant pool area plus hot tub which I would describe as a warm tub. A scenic short walk into the prettiest town where there are restaurants & cafes galore. Staff have proved very helpful and pleasant.

Only one small downside, the restaurant evening meals do need an upgrade, however breakfast buffet is good and varied. There are great eateries a short walk away.

Totale nette Rezeptionistin, hat mir ein Parkplatz gegeben der geschützt war,da mein Wagen ein kaputte Scheibe hatte. Hat mir nach 21 Uhr noch Zigaretten besorgt. Eine tolle Lage, toller Pool und direkt am See, leckeres Frühstück.Sehr gerne wieder!!!

Ett mycket bra hotell. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal överallt. Utmärkt frukost. Läget kan inte bli bättre. Några meter från bad i Gardasjön. Dessutom fanns en ren och välskött pool. Fri parkering, underbara promenadstråk längs sjön. Hundvänligt. Superbra städning.

Ganska dåligt wi-fi i vårt rum. Svajigt, tidvis normalt, tidvis väldigt segt. Kostnaden 25 € per dag för hund är i högsta laget. 10-20 €/dag, som de flesta andra hotell tar, borde vara nog.

There is no doubt at all that the position of this hotel is wonderful. Situated right on the lake with a 15 minute level walk into the centre of town. It has a lovely swimming pool, although it’s not heated. Our room was spacious clean had a lovely balcony and fabulous views.

I booked this hotel as a special treat for my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary as it was 4*. It did not feel like a 4* hotel to us and we travel a lot. The hotel itself seemed very tired with lots of plastic and artificial plants all over the place. Although our room was comfortable, the cheap plastic fittings in the bathroom and bathroom mugs with stains in the bottom were very unpleasant as was the black mould between shower tiles and floor tiles and a grubby shower curtain. There was a kettle in the room with mugs and spoons but no tea or coffee which was bizarre! The swimming pool was beautifully clean, but it was literally beside a very busy, noisy main road so it was not a relaxing place to spend any time at all.

we were offer a lake view upgrade upon arrival at an additional 80 Euros for four nights which is reasonable. the room was fantastic, roomy, clean and fully equipped. breakfast was as expected and very good, not too much variety but every base covered.

Magnificent views over the lake and Malcesine, excellent location. Very nice foot/bike path to Malcesine. Room is efficiently furnished. The beds are very good, strong rain shower. Breakfast, included in the price, is very good. The restaurant serves good dinners. Personnel is very friendly. Go and enjoy the sunset with a spritz.

Die Lage direkt am See ist ganz besonders. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Zentrum der Stadt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der Fitness - und Saunabereich ist für ein vier Sterne Hotel nicht angemessen. Da könnte man einiges verbessern. Obwohl sehr viele deutsche Gäste im Hotel waren gab es kein einziges deutsches Fernsehprogramm um mal Nachrichten zu schauen.

Nádherné místo, hotel čistý, naprosto úžasný milý personál. Trochu zklamaní jsme byli z hluku, který způsobovali návštěvníci ze sousedního pokoje, ale to zcela nesouvisí s hotelem a opravdu skvělými lidmi tam.

Ihana sijainti ihan järven rannalla,kauniit istututukset ja viihtyisä ympäristö.Omaa laituria uimiseen emme valitettavasti käyttäneet tuulisen sään takia.Pieni mukulakiviranta ja uima-allas jäivät myös tällä kertaa väliin sään takia. Todella ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta palveli hymyllä.Erikoismainta vastaanoton palvelualttiudesta oli vinkki hyvästä kalaravintolasta vanhassa kaupungissa, konne oli vain 10 minuutin kävelymatka. Aamiainen oli kattava ja munat paistettiin oman toivomuksen mukaan.Myös terassibaari teki meillr hyvät aperitiivit sekä digestiivit.

Parkkeeraus vähän haastavaa isolla autolla( erittäin tyypillistä Gardan alueella)liikuttaessa.Saimme kuitenkin auton purettua raskaasta lastista(matkustimme kahden ison kissan kanssa) vastaanoton eteen.

Das Hotel hat schon einige Jahre hinter sich. Aber angesichts der tollen Lage, der Sauberkeit, dem freundlichen Personal und dem sehr guten Essen ist das dann gar nicht mehr so schlimm.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Frühstück war gut.

Das Zimmer- es war nicht optimal, da es im Erdgeschoss nach hinten hin war.

Quarto amplo, com varanda que nos proporcionou uma vista explêndida do Lago di Garda. Qualidade do sono ótima. Garagem gratuíta. Localização ideal para pegar barco para Limone (venda de bilhete com 50% de desconto no hotel).

The hotel is located on the shores of Lake Garda with an excellent location, offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. A 10-minute stroll along the lakeside path leads to the town center. It boasts convenient parking, a hearty breakfast, and friendly staff—truly wonderful!

酒店有自己的湖岸沙滩，夏天应该可以在加尔达湖畅游。早餐不错。

Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am See ist traumhaft mit wunderschönem Blick zum See. Zudem liegt es sehr ruhig. Das Zentrum ist fußläufig direkt an der Seepromenade sehr gut zu erreichen, ebenso der Fähranleger nach Limone. Das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr umfangreich - mehr braucht man wirklich nicht. Schade, dass wir nun Ende Oktober die herrliche Seeterrasse nicht mehr nutzen konnten, da es morgens einfach schon zu kalt war.

Für uns war alles ok und nichts verbesserungswürdig.

A személyzet nagyon kedves, segítőkész. Jobb szobát kaptunk, mint amit foglaltunk, így a tóra nézhettünk, gyönyörű kilátással.. A hotel elhelyezkedése nagyon jó. Tóparton van és közel a látnivalókhoz. Reggeli is kiváló.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick zum See. Der Ausblick war traumhaft. Die Bedienung im Restaurant war immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Frühstück konnte man zusätzlich nach Wunsch Eierspeisen bestellen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man den Badestrand mit Steg direkt vor dem Hotel nutzen. Auch der Pool ist sehr einladend. Kleines Manko - er liegt auf der Seite zur Hauptstrasse. Bis zur Altstadt von Malcesine läuft man nur ca. 10 Minuten auf der Strandpromenade. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt - die Bedienung der Dusche. Aber das ist wohl Ansichtssache.

Das freundliche Personal, herrliche Lage, direkt am See, die gute Küche und dass ausgiebige Frühstück. Auch dir Sauberkeit der Zimmer.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Lago, keine Straße dazwischen. Wundervolle Blicke auf das gegenüberliegende Ufer - anders als im Süden, wo der See viel breiter ist- man kann den Schiffen zuschauen, wie sie ablegen Richting Limone, Torri del Benaco.. man kann quasi morgens aus dem Bett durch das Hotel gehen zum Schwimmen im See - oder im Pool, der nochmals außerordentliche Blicke freigibt. Man findet Ruhe. Die Einrichtung ist leicht in die Jahre gekommen - da aber alles appetitlich und freundlich ist, hat es sogar seinen besonderen Charme. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt - auch mit unseren beiden kleinen Hunden war es einfach schön. Dass man mit dem Wagen direkt zum Hotelparkplatz fahren kann ist sehr angenehm.

Die Zimmer mit Balkon in den oberen Etagen liegen sehr eng beieinander - und sind etwas hellhörig - mich hat es nicht gestört, aber ältere Herrschaften nebenan waren in der Sekunde da, als wir die Balkontür öffneten und baten um Ruhe…🤔 wo wir nicht garnicht auf dem Balkon angekommen waren

The shower didn't work (was sorted reasonably quickly) the bedding was inadequate. Lack of pillows, cheap yellow duvet cover. A kettle, but absolutely nothing else. It really needs a coffee machine or milk and tea bags in the room. Didn't overall feel like a 4* hotel in comparison to other 4* hotels we stayed at around the lake.
