Reviewed Sep 19, 2026We spent a week at Fenix Inn and felt right at home from day one. The hotel is located on the quiet outskirts of Lund, but that is by no means a downside: there are two bus stops nearby (a 5–6 minute walk away), the Nova shopping center and supermarkets like Coop and ICA MAX are just 10 minutes away, and since the city itself is small, getting to the center and the university is very easy. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere; the rooms and common areas are impeccably tidy, reflecting a real sense of care. A huge plus is the availability of a kitchen, allowing you to cook your own meals and save money. Safety: the atmosphere is peaceful, and you feel completely secure in the evenings. Responsiveness: the owner, Scarlett, is always on-site and ready to help or resolve any issue.
Nothing at all — everything was perfect. The location is a bit outside the center, but with buses nearby and Lund being so small, it was never an issue.

Il faut appeler un numéro pour se faire donner le numéro de la boîte dans laquelle se trouve la clé de la chambre. Cuisine commune bien équipée à disposition. Pas de charme particulier mais tout est fonctionnel et le prix est correct. Situation en dehors de la ville.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Sie haben auf uns gewartet, obwohl wir später angekommen sind. Unsere Ferry aus Trelleborg hatte eine Stunde Verspätung, und daher wir auch. Sie sind super nett gewesen und Überstunden wegen uns gemacht, so haben wir es geschafft, bei Fenix Inn anzukommen. Danke, Scarlett!

Det var lyhört. Sängarna var lite hårda. Lite tråkig omgivning även om vi var förberedda på industriområde.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Günstige Unterkunft für regnerische Tage bei langen Autofahrten. Nah an Lund gelegen und das Einkaufszentrum ist auch ums Eck. Die Küche ist sauber und gut ausgestattet und es gibt sogar einen Aufenthaltsraum.
Leider keine Babybetten und Kinderstühle vorhanden.

Trotz Fenster zu hört man die Autos die vorbei fahren schon sehr gut. Für eine wie für mich, die einen sehr schlechten Schlaf hat, nicht so gut. Aber das ist eher jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Bra läge. Boendet hade allt, man behövde inte tänka på att ta med något, tex. Sängkläder, Handdukar, all köksutrustning, kyl och frys. Fanns till och med tvättmaskin. Lätt att komma in, svara snabbt.
Det ända var väl att man hörde bilarna utanför men det störde inte så mycket ändå.

Few designated parkings, located in an industrial area, you can hear everything trough the closed windows when in bed. Couldn't angle the TV-racket towards the bed.

Wij hadden de pech dat de mensen in de kamer naast ons tot 1.45 uur de muziek flink hard aan hadden.... de host reageerde hier goed op.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026What an odd place. It is on the edge of Lund, a thriving and interesting university city, but like a different world. I rode out there on a folding bike down some lovely bike paths, but walking from the station would be a long hike - maybe a rental bike or bus? The room and bathroom was fine once I got there - it is really one corridor of rooms. There is a main road behind, but everywhere in Sweden has good double glazing so not too noisy. There is a communal kitchen, but I had no time to go there.
The whole place is on the first floor I think, in a sort of industrial unit area with other stuff on the ground floor. Very un-touristy [I was not a tourist though] . Zero bike parking, which is odd for a biking city. Despite there being a staff reception, that was unstaffed - I arrived 4.30 pm but saw nobody in the morning either. I wonder if it is ever staffed. You have to phone a number and they tell you how to get the key, in English or Swedish. Took me a while to get my phone to connect and work to make that call. Good job I had a phone - not everybody is immediately connected in a foreign country. I never saw a soul, so zero 'ambience'.

Die Unterkunft war unkompliziert, sauber und praktisch, sodass man sich nach der Anreise gut erholen konnte. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt und zur Weiterfahrt am nächsten Tag war es eine sehr gute Wahl.
Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre die Ausstattung vielleicht etwas einfach gewesen. Für unseren Zweck, eine Nacht zum Übernachten während der Weiterfahrt, hat aber alles gut gepasst. Größere Kritikpunkte gab es nicht.
