We enjoyed our time at the jimbaran bay beach resort and spa. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The location is great for dining options across the road on the beach. The rooms are nice, and the rooftop bar is anazing! If you get the chance, include your breakfast as it is a wide spread of different foods.

Great stay there;

The location is amazing, literally across the street from the beach... we could hear the waves crashing to shore from our room. The room is comfortable but lacks a bit of authentic Indonesian charm. They only provided a small amount of drinking water each day so needed to supplement with our own supply. The breakfast buffet is expensive so we opted to eat out away from the hotel restaurant. The hotel has its own seafood place on the beach.. the food was OK but the location was spectacular! The lobby and pool are nice and have some comfortable places to lounge. Highly recommend a small, local place called Warung Meranggi for amazing nasi goreng... the restaurant, which is a short walk from the hotel... it isn't much to look at but the food is delicious! Also recommend a walk down to the fish market for all sorts of sights and smells!

Hotel is beautiful restaurant on Property, which is a plus I did not eat there, but I did look at the food while passing I had a regular room there, but lizards were in the room freaked me out so the staff overnight move me to a different room, which was beautiful. Staff was very nice everyone.

Really good experience at jimbaran bay beach ..peole who work there was the most amazing and everyone just so helpful and friendly.. location was good breakfast was wonderful and ala carte menu all food was great. Nice atmosphere. We loved everything. Except bed.. king size bed its 2 full size beds moved together..while sleeping we felt the gap and that was uncomfortable.. besides that everything was perfect!

Would not stay here again

Jimbaran Bay is famous for its seafood and sunsets. These were both fantastic, but the Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort and Spa was not so wonderful. The photos in the advertising must have been taken when the property was first built, as the rooms are quite worn, very grubby and the furnishing are coming apart. On my first night, I barely got any sleep because of the noise. It sounded like someone was dragging furniture in the room above me and next to me, literally all night - it was still going on at 3am. The rats or other critters scurrying in the ceiling was also very off putting. The restaurant is very expensive. I would not stay at this property again.

Best value for the price. Staff is very nice & polite. It's in the quieter area of Jimbaran Bay. But walking distance bustling restaurants on the beach. Rooms are OK. Nice, not great. The hotel itself does not have any entertainment. Beautiful roof top bar. But boring. Breakfast buffet is OK. If you are staying here more than 2 days, you will see the same menu. Manager DIDI is a very nice gentleman. If you need anything to be addressed, go talk to him. All & all good stay.

I initially really liked this hotel- the rooms are great, the value (price) was good if you are ok being across from the public beach with those associated challenges. What caused us less enthusiasm was the rampant cigarette smoking and vaping allowed in the restaurant and waiting areas. Those areas enjoyed views of the pools and I guess the idea was since it was covered but open air- smoking would not be bothersome. It was though- and every time we moved away, another smoker popped in and lite up. We were invited to the “non-smoking” area in the back by the spa but it was much less enjoyable - and actually felt like we were being punished for being the non-smokers. We did read that vaping and smoking is prohibited in public in Bali- but many don’t enforce it. For this reason we won’t be returning.

This hotel has saved my vacation. I left the hotel I originally booked within a few hours as it was just awful. I found this place and luckily it was available. I'm a clean freak so it's not that easy to please me. However, my room was very clean and the staff personally checked in to make sure that everything was to my liking. It was. The room was great and clean and had everything I needed including very fast Internet which was important to me. It also had slippers and a safe and all of the little bathroom goodies! However, the best thing about this place was the staff. So friendly and kind and everybody knew my name by the end of the first day. The lobby restaurant was great with a big selection of food and they have a really adorable pool with its own bar! The rooftop restaurant and bar was also great with a live band every day which was really nice and chill. The rooftop terrace overseas the ocean with an amazing view ( in my video below ). There is a great coffee shop literary next door to the property and a public beach right across the street ( about 30 seconds away ). I would go there at 2am to watch the falling stars and the ships passing by. Thank you for the great stay!

Staff were inattentive poor understanding over pricedvery basic English or none at all

Appalling customer service . Worst I have ever experienced in Bali Dirty hotel , crappy room with a door with a gap so big we could see through the other room . My 72 year old Mother Felt very unsafe Breakfast was so bad we didn’t try food at other times Unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional service from reservation to reception and bad value for money

The Bintang prices by the pool similar to Finn’s beach club Cangu but atmosphere worlds apart. We asked for a coffee at 8.00 but told we couldn’t have one until 10.30. The rooftop had an amazing view but no protection from the sun. We asked for an umbrella which we could see them but told no as they were. Reserved. We were the only people on the rooftop.

It was very terrible, dirty experience in my life! I thought that Bali is a Paradise, but this location and hotel have ruined all my impression about this great place on the earth! The beach near the hotel was so dirty with a large amount of garbage, the hotel doesn’t take care of their tourists. All obligations were dumped only on the government. They didn't do anything for guests convenience. The beautiful photos on the internet are a big lie!

The family and i had an amazing Stay Experience at Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort. We stayed for 2 nights and have tried most of their facilities and they are all great especially the Lotus Spa with a well-worthed 2 hours hot stone massage which is a must try when you are staying there Both children were enjoying the large and well mintained swimming pool with kids attraction, on top of that we could supervise them well from our room balcony Gym is rather small but has everything i need and there is an attendance to assist which is great Breakfast has large selection for our various palets from Indonesian, Indian, Dimsum, Instant Noodel station and large selections of pastries and fruits Overall highly recommended

the rooms were cleaned at different times all throughout my stay,one or two days they were cleaned early and other days thewy were cleaned very late in the afternoon. i was trying to have a lay down and sleep around 230pm and the cleaners woke me up ands wanted top clean the room.

Only stayed here because of a delayed flight. Rooms are more worn down than advertised, music blaring all day. No shampoo or soap in bathroom. Not surprised though, it was very cheap.

The rooms are average, made worse by the fact the balcony doors don’t close properly and mosquitos come in. The pool bar is pumping music all day, so you can’t relax. The restaurant on the lower floor is average. The bar on level 5? Well I sat there for 25 minutes with no service, not even a drink order, despite my efforts, so I just left. The friendly service you get everywhere else in Bali doesn’t apply to this place. I had to cancel a massage due to being unwell, it was a 100 percent charge for cancellation, which I was okay to pay, but they repeatedly called me about payment until I went to the spa (whilst sick). When I did, I had to ask for a receipt, to which they asked ‘oh you need one?’ When I checked out, my ride was a little late, the bellboy kept telling me ‘you need to message him’ ‘what car is he in?’ In a very demanding tone. It was very off putting.

Jimbaran Bay Beach resort was nice. We fortunately got a last minute deal for a Deluxe ocean view room. The room was nice and the hotel which is a little dated was very clean and well maintained. The food at restaurants was good and not to expensive. The rooftop patio was great and service was good. The downstairs restaurant and poo was nice and the breakfast buffet was good. Only negatives were a few of the front desk staff needed training and others were excellent. One tried charging us 1100000 IRD for a late checkout and another gave us a deal at 600000 IRD and they didn’t put notes in system or in notes. This caused a couple issues regarding transportation, late checking and the check- in originally. The other negative was the deluxe rooms were loud and the smoke from restaurants below came into room. The view was great. Nothing to do with hotel but they and all the restaurant need to work on the beach. In our travels we have never seen such a mess. Plastic, garbage, building materials and more in the water and on the sand. Not swimmable. The dead sea life was disturbing with medium size turtles dead on the beach. One with plastic around its head.

This is the second Indonesia trip where we stayed at Jimbaran Beach at the beginning and end. It has beautiful facilities, very comfortable rooms, and a great location across the road from the beach. The staff is amazing. They are always smiling and eagerly offering their help. We had some really pleasant conversations with them. They make you feel at home.

Very lovely stay. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. However the coffee machines were unreliable - sometimes worked sometimes didn’t. Room wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked. Had a sticky floor when we arrived and the air conditioner unit was not working at full capacity (it had to be serviced). The shower was dirty. These weren’t a big deal as we still enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the friendly staff service and meals! Structural layout was aesthetically pleasing!

The best thing about this hotel is the friendly helpful staff and the 5th floor place to have a drink and watch the sunset. The rooms are dated, the chair provided is the most uncomfortable one I have sat in quite a while, but the bed is pretty comfortable. The shower is very nice and the room is large enough for the refrigerator and they provide bottled water. The first room I was shown to smelled terrible of sulfur and egg and I had to switch my room which they promptly took care of. The hallways are smelly also. The breakfast had fairly large selections with fresh food that was good. It’s close to the beach and some markets but I didn’t have the time to go and when I did it was torrential rain.which happens often.

Booked a deluxe room and it was awful. No storage at all, and had to live out of our suitcase for the fortnight. That was difficult, given the tiny room. This is not a 4 star resort, 2 star perhaps and that’s only due to the lovely staff. You need

Crossing the street is the beach. Many seafood restaurants are along. You can buy the seafood at the fish market at very reasonable price, bring it to the restaurant and they cook for you. Breakfast buffet in the hotel is excellent. Hotel staffs are friendly

The hotel was great for a quiet, relaxed holiday. Not a lot in the area to do.

Everything was excellent

We chose this hotel for our last night before our flight back and were very happy with this choice: it's not far from the airport, but still directly at the long, broad Jimbaran Beach, which facing West invites for a long sunset walk as well as for long morning joggs. The beach has a very shallow gradient. Thus, the people spread out comfortably. Access to the beach is just across the street. The rooms are not very spacious but comfortable and clean. Theee was a bathtub on the balcony. The hotel swimming pool is in the atrium behind the lobby. They offer massages at their spa center, which were nice and enjoyable. The restaurant on the roof gives a nice outlook on beautiful sunsets. The way to the airport was busy, but short distance, evading the big traffic jams of Denpasar.

Great buffet. Definitely worth the $5 a day for breakfast Not any better options close by Take the buffet Well worth it.

Clean and friendly staff

The feature photo is misleading, if you think there is a rooftop pool overlooking the bay. Rooftop is nice for an evening sunset drink otherwise too hot and not enough shade. Food was bland, the cafe right next door was nicer. The rooms let in too much noise and the decor is very dated. Overall much tireder than the pix indicate. Pool deck is crowded. Overall ok for airport proximity and Jimbaran seafood beach sunset meals

Look good friendly staff and close to the beach

Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. Jimbaran beach accoss the road, reasonably priced seafood restaurants on the beach. Hotel food and coffee are expensive. Happy hour cocktails are good value.

This property is looking very tired, 24 sunbeds 116 guest rooms, constant fight for sunbeds. The room certainly needs a makeover, we were at the back of the hotel, overlooking a brick wall and dirty alleyway, which was used through the night and the last night some idiot was setting off fireworks l. Bed in the room was VERY firm and the pillow was hard and lumpy, I’m going home with a bad back

Friendly staff and good food

The rooftop area is fantastic the staff are very helpful and friendly the menu is very good and the girls doing the massage are fantastic The location makes it a quiet area and easy access to the beach witch has fantastic seafood restaurants did I mention the great staff

The staff at the resort were absolutely lovely and did everything they could to make our short stay pleasant and easy. They also made a beautiful towel art display and card for my husbands birthday which was very sweet. Very handy as it’s close to the airport.

Ok. The rooms are kinda dark. Food is a bit overpriced with few vegetarian options

Overall good, was warned about the noise from the adjoining room by the reviews. It's really bad! But we did stay in the cheap rooms that had an internal door, so probably not the same for every room. Off putting smell from the bathroom too, but again, the room was cheap au$260 for 3 nights, so expected.

The restaurants at the top in the 5 level has an amazing view..the sunset is a plus !!! Food was really good !!

Hotel was very accommodating and staff was very friendly.

We stayed for 2 nights as my sons graduation was being held here. Our room was excellent and very quite considering we were above and opposite the swim up bar and pool area. The outside bath was awesome. The room was nice and big shower had great pressure and the bed was really comfortable. So many young staff here who were incredible they really looked after you and helped at every occassion. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and a good selection. The hotel is also really close to the airport and great views from the lounge on the roof.

We were just staying for 2 nights on the way to raja ampat and it was perfect. Food good, pool lovely, staff great and plenty of seafood restaurants on the beach. Not recommended if you want a partying time but we loved it.

Love the rich breakfast menu varieries. Staffs are nice and friendly. Rooms and property are clean, appreciate the works of the cleaning and housekeeping staffs. Jimbaran beach across thh jg r hotel. Seafood restaurant by the beach and many on the right side, but prepare for the cost. Airport is only 20 mins driving.

Everything was fantastic

We were only staying 2 nights as we were travelling further and the hotel is close to the airport with great dining around. Pool was nice and the food in the hotel was excellent too. Highly recommend unless you want crowds of people.

The hotel room did not look like the pictures at all. It was much smaller, dirty, smelled, and had a horrible view of the back of a small, unkept temple. I tried asking for an upgrade, knowing I’d have to pay for the different in room price, and the front desk only offered the most expensive family suite which was 5x the cost of the room I booked. I ended up just staying for one night and then booking a different hotel for the rest of my stay, knowing I wouldn’t get a refund. When I went to checkout early, the front desk said I won’t be getting a refund since I stayed for one night already, but could’ve if I never stayed that one night…. Very dishonest of her to not have mentioned that when I initially reached out about how dissatisfied I was. I had even mentioned I’d be looking for a different hotel room. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Staff were lovely and we loved our room. The property itself was a little tired, with a small pool area and not much around the resort other than seafood restaurants and the beach. Nice for a short stay.

To noisy...

The hotel is nice. The reception staff is very nice and kind. However, the food service (not the food itself) could be improved. We've ordered once a smoothie bowl and took 30min. We also had a dinner and oredered a starter and 2 mains with 2 juices. It took around 45 min and the starter came all together with the mains. We asked twice about our juices and had our dinner with no drinks (They gave us a glass of water after 50min). After almost 1hour they brought the juices (Fiod was already finished). They did not even offer any discount (Which is usually considered for customer service) until I asked for that and was denied (they told me to have a juice for free the day after, but I told them I was checking out) and they didnt offer anything else. That should be looked into, as 1hs for a fresh juice is too long..

Avery nice hotel set accosts the road from Jim Aran beach and it’s beach side cafes and restaurants Location was excellent but unfortunately the beach is unusable due to the rubbish If you head to the other side of the island towards nusa dua beaches are much cleaner Pool at the hotel was great Staff great although a little more training would be good as we attended the Friday bbq we order our food and we’re brought the bill before we had eaten or had a drink - something for the hotel to work on We had a breakfast option which was ok fruit and eggs everyday with a variety of local dishes We were advised before booking and before che king in that there were works at the roof top bar this would be from 9-5 pm This often went on until 8 or 9 but did not impact is too much The works it stated are due to finish mid March but I would expect end of April is more realistic Overall a good hotel fir the money and a pleasant stay Would book again

Food was horrible

Free upgrading to better room during our stay. The beach is famous for many seafood restaurants. We love everything from this hotel. The 3rd-party service of motobike rental was not friendly (she was making sure that we were not stealing her bikes by taking our pictures using the motobike).

Jimbaram is a dump don’t go there! The hotel is fine with lovely staff but the area is shocking. The beach is full of plastic and the whole area has been left behind in a big way. There are no shops or cafes and only a couple of rip off seafood joints.

Constant issues with staff, room was not ready despite coming an hour after check-in. Location is great but would rather choose a different location next time if it meant less issues.

This property has beautiful views of sunset from rooftop bar. There are very nice seafood BBQ restaurants just across the road. When I asked the staff to recommend a nice seafood bbq place, they recommended hotel owner’s cafe. This was just average. There are better ones just across the road. The property is away from central Bali and other happening area.

Our stay at Jimabaran Bay Beach Hotel & Spa was excellent! The facilities were kept well, and the staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. Super-fast walk to Jimbaran Beach (just across the street) for great seafood. This was was a great place to relax for our last few days on Bali!

The beech and food are amazing

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Grounds and room were beautifully maintained. I had slight trouble with my room key, and the view wasn't of the beach. I believe there may need to be updates needed for the website's photos. But overall my stay was great.

The first room i got looked out to a yellow wall. Not ideal. I was ready to move hotels but the staff went over and beyond and put me in a great room. By far the staff made my stay very enjoyable.

This hotel was lovely. Cute pool area with swim up bar. Nice rooms open rooms. Great service and friendly staff. The spa was simple and relaxing. Good food with lots of options at the restaurant. Wonderful sunset views on the roof. Transportation options.

Unfortunately, my stay at this property was abysmal. Let's start with the first room they tried to put us it. It was connected to another room and we could clearly hear the person scrolling through TikTok in the room that was connected. There was no chance of anyone feeling okay sleeping in a room like this. Especially when they are branding it as a "luxury experience" for the same price during this trip we have been able to book Villa style rooms disconnected from anyone. Also, this room had a horrible stench in it like it was a smoking room at one point that someone sprayed air freshener in 10 minutes before we walked in. Luckily they were able to put us in another room that was not connected to another room. We decided to just bite the bullet and go get one of the complimentary free drinks on the roof balcony that we were offered. This is where we learned the free drinks are actually for juices like apple juice, not a cocktail. it would have felt better if they just didn't offer any "free drinks" at all. Oh well, let's at least look at the awesome view on the roof and relax for a moment. NOPE. Someone had reserved the whole area with the view on the roof. that night we learned that it is actually the walls that are incredibly thin. We could hear people all the way down the hall and would wake up every morning clearly hearing any activity in the hall or the room next to us. We decide to stay somewhere else the entire time even though we cant get a refund. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

The room was satisfactory, however I had trouble sleeping with a noisy air conditioner which I couldn’t turn down. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

There are Balinese paintings, but no Balinese connection with the unique Balinese culture . The balinese people are gentle ,very polite and very giving. Coming to Bali is a privilege. You can learn just a few greetings in Balinese and you will be given every help with a beautiful smile and you will belong. This Hotel does nothing to promote or give back to Balinese culture.

I felt the hotel was outdated, the pictures make it look much better than the hotel really is. food was not great.

I was very disappointed. The property needs some work, which I was expecting, but not to this extent. The room was also not clean, and you can hear people next door as well as outside in the temple. The window blinds didn’t close all the way. There was hair all over the bathroom when I came in. Towels are very very old and they don’t even provide a hand towel. I would say this is a 2 star at best now. I’m sure it was much better before but it needed a renovation 10 years ago.

Good location.

The Hotel was ok. We ware at the beach the first day and the wave broke my shoulder. The sea was not stormy and it was ok when we were ind but the time we were on the way out a big strong wave hit us. My shoulder broke and we had both difficult to come out. The strong water would take us both with on the way back to the sea. We didn’t know anything about what strong the water is. I missed some information about the sea. Both at the hotel and on the beach.

The staff (and generally everyone in Bali) are so polite and friendly. I think this is my favourite country I’ve visited! I will definitely be back x. The hotel is very close to the beach and the beach is so peaceful and beautiful too

Friendly staff, nice food and good location in Jimbaran. It was quite noisy at night and I couldn’t sleep due to people in the front room talking until late, doors opening/closing. Overall, good cost benefit.

Second stay at the hotel, and its quite a nice hotel. No problems last time, but this time one of the rooms was not ready when we checked in (after 14:00) and when they did give us an access card, it didnt work. Hotel was not busy, so no real excuses for room not being ready. That said, the hotel is well priced, and nicely located for the seafood restaurants. Even tho there was minor issues, I would return

Stayed here for 2 days, very nice property, especially the swimming pool with bar adjoining the pool. The rooms were good, breakfast was extensive.

We stopped here for one night, and it was a nice place. I would recommend it for a longer stay as the food was good, its in a great location and its good value for money

This was a good value property with lovely staff. However it was quite tired in places. Our room had some mould in it and the air-conditioner was dripping a lot. It was in a good location - just over the road from the beach.

This is average 3 star hotel. All staffs are amazing and breakfast was good. Location is good and just opposite beach. However corridors are smelling and rooms are small. No hand towels were provided in room and ants were visible in coffee pantry.

Clean and kind

Hotel was amazing unlike Expedias customer service! Great hotel but dealing with Expedia on my entire trip trying to get refunds for other hotels filthyness was absolutely stressful and I’d recommend the hotel but definately don’t recommend booking through Expedia as their customer service is disgusting! Book this hotel for sure but I would advise against booking through Expedia as they turn a blind eye to any problems you have whilst away, they’re happy to ruin your trip

Great location. A little run down in parts but good level of luxury for the price.

I would say the stay was just okay. You can tell this property used to be amazing but just seems a little run down now. The staff is kind but sometimes not super attentive. The rooms are old and there was construction going on next door to our room(in the hotel) until 930pm. It’s right next to the beach which is cool but the beach was kinda dirty and didn’t spend much time there. The one plus was the rooftop view it’s beautiful and you can have drinks up there. They do close it for some events, which happened to us one of the nights. Overall everything was just okay. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
