Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Griya Asih is a beautiful villa in ancient colonial style, located in a nice residential area at walking distance from city center. The villa is elegant and spacious, with lovely antique furniture and accessories. The patio of the villa is large and comfortable, with spacious sofas for sitting and relaxing while sipping tea or coffee, which, like drinking water, is provided for free in the breakfast room. The room was spacious, comfortable, with a giant bed, nice furniture, and a garden view. The breakfast is one of the most amazing parts of the stay in this amazing villa. More than a simple breakfast it is a culinary experience in the best of the delicious Indonesian cooking. Every day it is different, every day it is a new and surprising culinary experience. I think that western breakfast is available too, but it was never my option... The staff deserves a honorable mention for the kindness, availability, professionalism, mixed with a warm and supportive attitude and the sincere smiles that make Indonesia one the most welcoming countries in the world. Parking for the scooter inside the beautiful garden is available in case you rent a scooter.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Location is awesome if you need to walk to the airport it's 15 minutes to the domestic terminal entrance. Room was clean and had air conditioning, so most of the basics you need are covered.
We have been travelling for two months and this was the squeakiest and hardest bed we have slept in. We thought about contacting reception to be changed to a different room but they weren't answering my messages about a different question about breakfast, so we just tried to get used to it. It took like an hour for them to get back to us on whether they could help us get early breakfast and by the time they replied and said no to our request, we were already sleeping, so that was a bit disappointing (do keep in mind we arrived at midnight so we understand that it was too short notice)
