Athithara Homestay

Location was handy for viewing the ruins for a few days but I don't think I would stay again. Bed was comfortable, tv was good.

Creepy Crawleys appear out of nowhere, needs a clean in general, air con unit starts whistling after 2 hours even on lowest fan speed, it also made me unwell - nasty old Hitachi thing. Random banging noises from upstairs in the evening? (not that kind 😂). You pay for what you get but I regret staying there to be honest so I'm just being honest.

It was very basic, I only had coffee but my partner had the food there but was not really satisfied

So beautiful and homely... The room was spacious and had a fridge and hairdryer. The bathroom was old style and long, but had enough space for me. The breakfast was so cozy and honestly, very tasty traditional Thai food and also continental options. The highlight was the wooden architecture, the antiques places everywhere and the beauty of the river and the gardens. The host was also very kind and accommodating to allergies.

The bathroom could be better equipped, but this is not a deal breaker for me. Also would have liked to have a mirror suitable for makeup and fit checks.

Les chambres ont beaucoup de charme et sont bien équipées. Notre hôte a été aux petits soins pour nous et toujours de bons conseils.

Attention si vous voyagez avec une personne à mobilité réduite, pour accéder aux plus belles chambres il faut monter un escalier en bois. L'établissement propose toutefois des chambres situées au rez-de-chaussée mais elles sont un peu sinistres et n'ont pas le charme des grandes chambres des maisons traditionnelles (sur pilotis).

A lovely traditionally built house by the river with frangipani trees in the garden. Greeted by a lovely host, great breakfast selection and a very quiet location.

The bathrooms are a bit basic, but it was all working.

Beautiful old style home , very peaceful and quiet by the river, nice view of the river. Room was very nice, clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good, clean and shower was nice. Breakfast had a good variety, fresh fruit, coffee hot and cold meals. All delicious. Location was close to restaurants and many temples.

Le côté un peu vétuste de l’établissement, le manque de praticite. Impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres, mauvaise isolation, la sécurité spartiate.

Eigentlich gar nichts - wir sind einen Tag früher abgereist und haben die Zimmermiete verfallen lassen!

Die Zimmer haben keine Fenster, nur Holzbretter. Es ist laut und zieht rein. Das Bad ist ekelhaft. Bin schon oft verreist, aber das sieht man glücklicherweise nicht alle Tage - sonst würde ich mit Reisen aufhören! Leider. Frühstück ungemütlich und sehr kleines Angebot. Vermieterin entspricht nicht der thailändischen Höflichkeit. Fazit: ich kann jedem mit bestem Gewissen abraten!

I was in my own little villa there with a balcony :-). Athithara is located at the riverside and at the other side of the road is the amazing World Heritage site of the old city.

La salle de bain mériterait d’être refaite, même s’il s’agit d’un hébergement standard.

Wir hatten ein typisches Lana-Haus direkt am Fluss, mit kleiner Terrasse. Herrlich entspannend für die ersten Tage unserer Reise. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es ein Restaurant am Fluss und einen kleinen Laden.

Lieu authentique et charmant. Personnel très gentil. Idéalement situé.

L'accueil, la disponibilité et la gentillesse de notre hôte. Scooter à disposition pour aller en ville, on a juste un peu d'essence à remettre. Les logements sont bien conçus, en retrait de la route qui est très bruyante. On est à l'abri des regards pour profiter de la petite piscine individuelle. La salle de bain en extérieur, très agréable.

Matelas un peu mou pour nous, mais rien de rédhibitoire. Absence de table de chevet.

Het warme welkom was fantastisch! Zeker een aanrader. Ietsjes verder van de stad, maar daarvoor heerlijk en gastvrij overnacht!

Vous ne séjournez pas dans un hôtel mais plutôt dans une vraie propriété familiale Thaïlandaise. L'hospitalité locale est au rendez vous. L'établissement est très bien situé, au bord de la rivière. Vous pouvez louer un vélo ou une petite moto, sur place, pour visiter la ville. Prendre un authentique petit déjeuner Thai au bord de l'eau, c'est magique !

Les ronchonneurs diront que les oiseaux sont trop bruyants. Moi, j'ai au l'impression d'être à la fois en ville et dans la nature, j'ai adoré.

Das Zimmer war einfach aber sauber, das Quartier selbst war ein Traum, ruhig, hübsch, direkt am Fluss gelegen. Die Betreiberfamilie unwahrscheinlich freundlich und bemüht, bei TukTuks, Transfers bei einer Bootstundfahrt. Die haben einfach alles organisiert. Frühstück super, einfaches westliches Frühstück oder ein geniales Thai Gericht. Wir durften sogar nach dem dem Checkout unser Gepäck noch dort lassen und nach einer Stadtbesichtung noch dort Pause machen und bekamen sogar noch einen kostenfreien Café.

Badkamer was absoluut niet ok. Water was koud douche werkte nauwelijks. Er werd veel goed gemaakt door de kamer zelf.ontbijt mag meer variatie hebben en zorgen dat de dingen warm zijn. ( eten en koffie)

Welcoming & beautiful. Natcha was so kind & welcoming she made our stay perfect. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The owners even gave us a lift to the bus station when grab didn’t work. 5*****

Bed was comfy Water was hot from the shower I was recommended a restaurant very near and the food was gorgeous.

Only issue I had was I couldn't get out of the security gates as I was leaving early the next morning, however it was only a couple of minutes before a staff member came to help. My fault really, I should have enquired about this when I checked in.

Le cadre est magnifique et les chambres sont confortables, dotées de tous les équipements nécessaires. Le petit déjeuner est très bon.

L'emplacement est calme mais excentré, il faut prendre un véhicule pour toutes les sorties. Probablement par le meilleur logement pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants, beaucoup de bibelots fragiles et le personnel semblait suspicieux dès que les enfants faisaient un peu de bruits.

Beautiful homestay and garden overlooking the river. We booked the standard room, which was simple but very clean and functional. Nice breakfast in the morning and the family was lovely. It’s in a quiet area and they have bikes available to rent at the location.

天候上の問題ですが、丁度、雨季の最後だったため、ソイの入り口からホテルまで水が溜まっており、徒歩では行けないことが、残念でした。

Tout était parfait ! L’accueil des propriétaires, le rapport qualité/prix, le petit-déjeuner. On serait bien resté plus longtemps. Nous avons loué les vélos sur place pour faire le tour des temples.

De mensen die het bedrijf runnen zijn enorm lief en behulpzaam. Het authentieke pand met toebehoren zijn mooi. Je kan heerlijk rustig aan de rivier zitten. De bedden sliepen heerlijk en alles was schoon.

De badkamer kan een renovatie gebruiken en de airco lekte. Verder hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Khun Nattha was a really great host and helped me in every possible way. The owner was also so nice even though she doesn't speak English she always did her best to help. A beautiful peaceful location for those who want to relaxe and enjoy the sounds of the nature.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Sackgasse. Daher war der Strassenlärm nicht zu hören. Das Hotel liegt gleich angrenzend zum Fluss Chao Pharya. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Jedoch nicht gleich ums Eck. Ein wenig gehen muss man schon. Das Frühstück war Buffet und ich denke für jeden ist was dabei.

Die Betten waren zu hart für uns. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beklagen.
