Måtte betale på forhånd. Ikke mulig å skrive noe på rommet. Tar betalt for baggasjeoppbevaring. Positivt med gratis parkering. OK rom. Lite bad, men grei dusj.

L'hotel è caratteristico, tuttavia le camere c.d. standard sono veramente piccole: il bagno è minuscolo, con un lavandino quasi inesistente e nessun appoggio (non c'era nemmeno il phon, che ci hanno dato su richiesta) e la camera non ha né armadio né spazio per le valigie, con un solo tavolino senza TV. In seguito alle nostre lamentele, ci hanno spostato in una superior per una notte (visto che la prima notte non era disponibile). La superior è invece una bella camera, spaziosa e confortevole, con un bagno ampio. Un buon voto per la colazione, buona e ben fornita. La posizione ottima per il trekking al Preikestolen.

Vi opplevde at det var fullbooket da vi kom. Fikk da et hus for oss selv. Haken var at vi måtte kjøre i 35 min for å komme dit. Kunne kanskje fått oppholdet litt billigere siden dette skjedde. Ellers er vi veldig foenøyde

Det positiva med hotellet var dess läge, vi sov där en natt innan vi skulle till preikstolen och det var bara 15min bilfärd ifrån. Det var även väldigt bekväma sängar, däremot saknade rummet luftkonditionering så det var väldigt varmt och när man öppnade upp fönstret så hördes all trafik utifrån. Städningen däremot var väldigt dålig vilket märkes i badrummet. Vi hoppade över frukosten som ingick då vi skulle iväg tidigt men vi fick till oss att det finns ett kök med nödvändig utrustning för att kunna fixa egen mat men köket saknade både koppar/skålar och annat som behövs för att kunna äta. Fanns inte heller någon spis eller kokplatta.

Helt greit hotell. Gode parkeringsmuligheter med kort avstand til inngang. Heisen var enkel, men fungerte. Vennlig mottakelse og ingen venting. Enkelt rom, senger ok. Rent og pent. Fornøyelig frokost. Overnatter gjerne her igjen.

I was looking for a place that is close to the Pulpit Rock so that I can stay there the night before. This is the perfect hotel for that and more. It is only 13 minutes drive the Pulpit Rock parking lot. When I got to the hotel, the check in was quick and easy. The staff is super friendly. Parking is free. The facility seems to have beenupdated lately. Everything in the room is new. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. I feel very fortunate that I found this hotel and was able to book a room. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who plan to climb the Pulpic Rock or simply visiting the region.

Rigtig god morgenmad. Receptionist i topklasse. Tæt på byen. Gode parkeringsforhold. Dejligt med fælleskøkken med køleskab. Man kan køre til en lille badesø ikke så langt fra vandrehjemmet. Jeg vil være glad for at vende tilbage.

Slidt værelse, og morgenmad var noget af det dårligste vi har prøvet på hoteller

Nice hotel in small town

Apartment was spartan in furnishings and was cold. Both baseboard heaters did not work but we finally walked to the main building at 10:30 pm and they gave us a portable heater. T V was very small with bad audio.

Good value for money, nice staff that fixed our early arrival. Just what you need a good nights sleep.

Tivemos um imprevisto ao chegar na recepção, onde a recepcionista não entendeu a reserva e alegou erro de sistema, e quase ficamos sem os quartos reservados. Mas no geral, um bom hotel com boa localização.

Very disappointed with this stay. The room was extremely small, no place to put your stuff. Tiny sink. TV didn’t work and it was very noisy. The breakfast was really bad as well. Not worth the money! If I pay close to $200, I expect something different, even in Norway! It’s a youth hostel at best.

Pretty walkable town

We srayed at this hotel due to its proxomity to pulpit rock. It is only about 10 minutes away by car. The service was great, we got upgraded to a better room without even asking. The staff are friendly. The hotel has an elevator, so it was not a problem getting our luggage to the first floor. There is a common kitchen on the first floor, with a kettle among other things, but no coffee or tea sachets. It would be nice if they had. Both the room as well as the hotel were nice and clean. The only exception was the coffee mugs at breakfast. While they are clean, they are also stained which looks unappealing. Breakfast was good, with more choices of hot dishes than a similar hotel in Norway.

Very small rooms.

Smaller quaint euro rooms. Sheers on window. Building next door had people who could see me. Privacy. Great management and staff. Adele and Hellena were awesome. Great local seafood restaurant across the road. Wonderful scenery.

Location is great and convenient to pulpit rock. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Pænt og rent hotel som er meget hyggeligt udenfor men denne hygge mangler lidt i indretningen af hotellet. Morgenmaden blev ofte ikke genopfyldt før hele det aktuelle fad var tomt. Generelt kedelig morgenmad.

Et super fint hotel i en dejlig lille by. Flot udsigt og skønne senge. Eneste minus var lidt for koldt vand i bruseren. Morgenmaden var ok. Et oplagt sted at bo som udgangspunkt for at besøge Predikestolen, vi kan anbefale at cykle op til vandreturen.

Good value for money hotel. Friendly staff members who provided excellent customer services. Limited breakfast options for vegetarian and vegan people. The hotel location is in a residential area with limited parking availability. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Helt greit opphold, men med litt trekk for at det er lytt, badet er lite uten plass til toalettvesker samt at frokosten er midt på treet.

Ingen tv kanaler på tv'en. Ikke et norsktalende menneske å oppdrive. Middag skulle være norske kjøttkaker - retten var tydelig oppvarmet, servert lunken og uten saus. Det ble på problemer å dele opp betalingen mellom tre reisende Sengen var god. Enkeltrom er noe av det minste jeg har bodd på. Det var ikke satt inn (plass til) skrivebord. Gratis parkering

Vi fikk et pent, rent rom. Det var lite, men hadde det vi trang. Vi hadde hørt at frokosten var litt dårlig, men vi ble svært positivt overasket.

Hotellet har ikke restaurant, ei heller lounge/bar. Frokostsalen var kun åpen i frokost-tiden, og hadde grei mat. Det er ikke døgnåpen resepsjon. Den stengte kl 20.00. Resepsjonisten snakket ikke norsk, behersket heller ikke engelsk særlig godt. I bestillingen vår stod det dobbeltrom med delvis utsikt mot sjø. Vi fikk et stusslig og nedslitt rom med vindu mot bakgården. En pinnestol og et lite nattbord var klemt inn på rommet i tillegg til et bord hvor tv'en stod. Da var det knapt plass å gå rundt senga, og vi måtte trø over bagasjen vår for å komme ut og inn av rommet. Eneste klesoppheng var en knaggrekke på veggen. Badet hadde en knaggrekke på døra, så vi måtte velge mellom å henge opp håndklær eller klær.

We had the family room and was quite comfortable for 2 couple’s travels.

Accomodation was overall ok, parking easy and good location for access to Lysefjord and hiking. The room could have been cleaner, there were hairs that did not belong to us on the bedsheets and curtains.

Beautiful from the outside but don’t be fooled!! No main light in the room just two bedside table lights so got ready in the dark every morning! Probably good that there wasn’t a light as I’m not sure how clean it was! Bed made on the first morning but not the second morning! Reported a leak from under the bathroom sink but it wasn’t fixed!! Some cheap shower gel in the bathroom - one empty bottle and one which was sticky and covered in contents of the bottle!! No hand soap or shampoo and wasn’t keen on even touching the shower gel there which meant I had to venture to the supermarket to buy some! Lumpy pillows and the bedsheets had a nasty smell! You could hear every movement in the hotel!! Breakfast not good, coffee drinkable!! Beautiful view from the room though and a lovely restaurant across the road!

쉐락볼튼 트래킹을 마치고 가까운 호텔을 찾던중 숙박하게 되었습니다. 작은 마을에 있는 아주 이쁜 호텔이고..서비스는 특별히 없지만 인근에 마트 및 식당등 걸어서 여러가지를 해결할수 있어 좋았습니다.

Dårlig service

Pratique pour sa proximité avec Preikestolen. Chambre familiale correcte, mais pas de lit double comme mentionné dans ma réservation et pas de vue sur le fjord. Lorsqu'on a dû fermer les fenêtres pour cause de grosse pluie, on avait l'impression que la chambre n'était plus ventilée. Un petit frigo nous a manqué. Petit déjeuner correct, sans plus.

Extremely unhygienic, dead cockroach, smelly washeroom, I wouldn't touch anything in there, it was so dirty I couldn't even touch hair dryer and there was no towels only 2 hand towels. When I complained, front desk staff started arguing! Old bitten up place, they were hiding fallen wall decoration behind TV. Not a hotel, it's a B&B. I don't know how they are in business still and why there's no health inspection on them 🙄 absolutely worst

Das waren zwei schöne Tage. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr schön. Der Service war top. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt.

Smart TV fungerade ej trots att personalen försökte. Ett glas i rummet för två personer. För stor madrass på extra sängen, blev obekvämt. Definitivt ej prisvärt.

Rooms are pretty old, parking was extremely difficult if arriving late. The positive is its location, close to nearby attractions.

The location was just beautiful overlooking the fjord. The frustration we had was that we had booked the family room which was basically with two connecting rooms. We needed a key to the room in order to operate the electricity. The person at the front desk only gave us one key so our son's in the second room did not have electricity. The amenities in the bathroom were very sparce with little toilet paper and we could not find the plug in the bathroom to plug in the hairdryer. When we went back down to the front desk to ask for some help the front desk did not open up again until the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast however was one of the best we have had on our 3-week trip. Parking was on property and very easy.

Skuffende lite rom. Jeg bor ofre her, og har alltid fått rom med mulighet til å jobbe på kvelden. Men denne gangen var det ikke mulig.

I stayed for 3 night's and found it very friendly and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast and location was very nice. The only thing I would recommend would be tea and coffee making facilities in the room so you don't have to go to the dining room or kitchen to make a drink. Note that there are no evening meals available here, but lovely restaurant opposite the hotel. (Closed Monday's whilst I was there in November)

Rent, hyggeligt hotel og hjælpsomt personale

Litt lite rom men ellers bra. Synd det ikke var en kaffe i hotellet slik at vi kunne sittet ute på det fine området med en kaffekopp.

God service den dagen vi kom, hyggelig personal. Den neste dag ble vi ikke en gang ønsket god morgen, og vi ble sett rart på når vi takket for oss. Vanlig vedlikehold, som å erstatte ødelagte knagger på badet, hadde hevet standarden. Grei beliggenhet.

Graving/anleggsarbeid rett utenfor trakk ned,. Ikke hotellets skyld men hadde vi visst det hadde vi bodd et annet sted. I tillegg virket ikke tv'en. Stort rom, stort bad, lyst og luftig, bra frokost. Gratis parkering rett utenfor.

Ein sehr idyllisch am Fjord gelegenes Hotel im norwegischen Holzhausstil. Die Zimmer sind für 1 Nacht I. O. und, das Frühstück ausreichend allerdings ist der Service etwas langsam mit dem Auffüllen. Sehr positiv ist die Terasse mit Blick auf den Fjord und die Nähe zum Preikestolen. Würden hier wieder übernachten

Insgesamt leider unter den Erwartungen geblieben. Zimmer haben eine sehr gewürfelte Low-Budget-Einrichtung, die zudem in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Bad ist winzig. Das Bett ist durchgelegen und das Kopfkissen eher Zierde. Das Frühstück erfüllt nur Minimalstandard. Einzig die Lage lädt zur Wanderung auf den naheliegenden Holmen ein. Es sind auch viele Supermärkte in der Nähe. Preikestolen ist nicht weit entfernt. Tipp: Lysefjord Cruise ab Forsand! Fazit: Selbst für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise zu teuer. Leider gibt es in der Region nicht viele andere Möglichkeiten.
