Silverstone Golf Club And Hotel

The selection was amazing, a separate dining area from the club room was welcome, and service faultless. We preferred continental breakfast, and there was a good choice of cereals and pastries.

The menu was a little limited; we were there for only two meals so didn't mind the small choice of main courses. However, the food was good, well- cooked and presented, and service from Euan perfect.

The room was ideally situated, clean and had all the facilities we needed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The scrambled eggs for breakfast were delicious!

The price of the room was very expensive each night for the duration of our stay, based on the size and facilities of the room (it was similar to a Premier Inn or Travelodge room) but that was probably due to the large event on at Silverstone circuit over the weekend that we were attending.

We had a few rowdy guests as they must of gone out and come bk being very loud I did hear someone shout at them, my sleep was disrupted a bit as we had to get up early for fordfair which my car was attending. Other than that nothing else was wrong

Excellent location with a view of the golf course, the chalet style of room was very cute and the adjoining clubhouse was perfect for dining and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

I book accommodation for our teams when they are working away, and they are always quick to complain if there is something they don't like. No complaints at all for this stay and they asked to be booked in here for a return trip to site. They said the food was really good and not cheap pub type. Breakfast was a bonus and they were able to get it to go. The ability to sit out on the porch outside their rooms was appreciated.

Location is excellent for Silverstone Race Track and surrounding areas. It is very quiet, the staff were incredibly accommodating and the actual rooms were very comfortable.

A massive thank you to the team and a personnel thanks to Lucy B. My family had stayed in the Glamping tents for Silverstone F1 GP. Unfortunately they left a high value item hanging up in the tent, only realising when they got home. I contacted the golf club by phone and was put through to Lucy. Going above and beyond is an understatement. With the challenge of thousands of people having attended, staying in a large amount of tents with a load of lost property. It seemed an impossible task. Lucy approached this in a calm, efficient and extremely quick manner and located said item. What a relief it was to receive her email. Thank you Lucy, it has been a pleasure.

1/5 – Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this campsite if you want any chance of getting some sleep. We knew there would be live entertainment during the F1 weekend and had no issue with that. The problem was that we were allocated a pitch directly behind the entertainment tent. The bass was so loud our van was physically vibrating. It genuinely felt like we were camping inside a concert. The organisation on arrival was chaotic, with long waits and no communication, but what was even worse was the way our complaint was handled afterwards. Despite repeatedly explaining that our issue was the proximity of our pitch—not the fact there was music—they completely ignored the point. Their response was simply that the entertainment finished at 11:30pm and that we could have packed up our entire campsite and moved. After spending hundreds of pounds and fully setting up our awning, pop-top and equipment, this was a ridiculous suggestion. No accountability, no empathy and some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. Instead of acknowledging that pitching guests so close to the stage is unacceptable, they defended it and then stopped responding altogether. A very expensive and extremely disappointing experience. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to book elsewhere.

Fantastic facilities, great staff, always happy to help, nothing too much trouble. showers and toilets were kept clean all weekend. Great atmosphere, and closest to the circuit!! Breakfast was great value for money. Definitely returning next year.

Stayed in the glamping tents for the F1 weekend. Beds were comfy enough and equipped with duvets and blankets. There was plenty of hot showers and enough toilets to go round. The breakfast buffet was well organised We hope to be back next year!

Rooms would benefit with ac as the room was so warm at night we struggled to sleep with the heat.

We stayed on a quiet Sat evening when the nearby racecourse was closed & we found the golf club a very relaxing place to stay. Location is good just off the A43 between M40 & M1. The clubhouse offered a good range of food & drinks & the staff we met were very friendly, welcoming & helpful.

We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodation is in a row of modern lodge-style rooms overlooking the golf course, and my room was comfortable, clean and very well presented. The bathroom was excellent, with a good shower and everything I needed for my stay. The staff were a real highlight. Everyone I met was friendly and welcoming, particularly the lady working behind the bar, who couldn't have been more helpful. I had dinner and breakfast on site. Breakfast was very good, and while the evening meal was more relaxed clubhouse dining than formal restaurant dining, it was enjoyable and served in a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, this was excellent value for money. The setting is attractive, the people are lovely, and everything was well organised. I would happily stay here again if I were in the area.

I didn't receive an email with instructions on how to collect the key but the staff were very helpful so it wasn't an issue. It was handy to have a proper key with the key box outside. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was lovely and good quality. Breakfast was delicious and a good range of options.

There wasn't a real reception and it was a little confusing at first knowing where to go. A few signs at the entrance would help. Tiny thing, but the mirror was really streaky so I needed to wipe it down myself to see through it. There's not much else that was an issue to be honest.

The boiler in the bathroom could be covered with an access panel door for staff to get into, there was nowhere to place your luggage for unpacking, House keeping come to clean the room daily on our stay but did not replenish towels that had been used and had to chase for new ones which then still was not delivered. The pond in front of the guest house is not working so stagnant water which produced small mosquitoes for the night time. The shower trap clogged up so had to be taken out to let water drain.

Staff were pleasant and catering was very good.

The grounds manager was insistent upon not taking motor vehicles to the room embarking and disembarking area even briefly, Consequently I was forced to carry all my stuff right around the building. I felt that the regimented "club culture" had been "plonked" on to a hotel?

Two night stay - Dissapointed mainly becuase the terrace running along all the units allows smoking outside, including provision of ashtrays. If your neighbour smokes this means you 'enjoy' passive smoking. Although booking sites clearly state smoking is not allowed in the rooms they are not clear about the nature of the smoking permitted area? Unfortunately also the second night our neighbour decide to put their radio on at 2.00am. Without these two incidents it would be just a fine place to stay.

Didn't like being woken up by tractor looking after the green at 5.30 in the morning. Fan in room didn't work properly. No reception to report to. Breakfast was reasonable except no fresh fruit or plain yogurt (just stuff with additives). Poached eggs were great plus other options cooked to order. I would stay again for one night but very hot with recent heatwave, so bring a fan and earplugs.

This was my first stay at this hotel whilst working in the area. The hotel is self check in. I was sent an email a day or so prior to arrival giving me a code for the key safe with clear instructions for check in. Easy enough to follow and I was soon in my room. Lovely room, really comfy bed with a great shower. Loads of room and really quiet during the night. The food in the restaurant was first class and unbelievable price for the quality. Loads of choice on the menu all at very cheap prices. Loads of free parking, all the staff I came across were really friendly. A really enjoyable stay and I will be sure to visit again soon.

The location is gorgeous on a summers evening. Right on the golf course.

One stand-up fan for temperature control was not sufficient for two people. You have to order breakfast. If it was a ready made buffet as I was expecting, I wouldn’t have had to skip breakfast. Breakfast and location, were the main considerations.

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom also. Excellent cooked breakfast. The pretty coloured ice cream chalets and outdoor chairs and the view of the golf course and pretty pond from the terrace were particularly lovely. Perfect location for our nearby festival at Blackpit Brewery where the alternative would have been camping!!

The thin curtains meant it was too bright at 4.30 am along with the dawn chorus. It was rather hot in the bathroom especially as there was no window/ventilation but I'd rather too hot than cold wet towels. It was during a mini heatwave !

It isn’t really a a hotel, little chalets. You let yourself in via a key fob system. The chalets were nice and clean.

The restaurant part is tired and dated. It requires an overhaul and looks dingy with brown tables and chairs.

I come here frequently as my son studies in Silverstone and the site is only a very short drive away. Lovely, peaceful accomodation, breakfast is plentiful and very nice to see some pastries now on offer. dinner is good too, again plentiful and reasonably priced. Would reccomend

As a lone female traveller it felt very remote and I felt a little uneasy as none of the other cabins appeared to have guests in.. Didn’t sleep well as I didn’t realise it would feel so isolated and with no staff on site. Perfect if visiting as a couple or group and I’d return if for leisure with other people but I felt too vulnerable as a lone female.
