Posizione incantevole a due passi dal mare, assolutamente silenziosa.

Un piccolo bar a bordo piscina valorizzerebbe la struttura.

Struttura molto tranquilla, la camera è spaziosa, eravamo due adulti e una bimba e siamo stati comodi per tutta la vacanza. L'angolo cottura è dotato di piastre ad induzione, la pulizia della camera è quotidiana con cambio di lenzuola ed asciugamani, bellissime le due piscine (di cui una per bambini). Il mare e la spiagge più vicine si raggiungono tranquillamente a piedi in 10 minuti, così come il minimarket (ben fornito) e diverse taverne in cui si mangia veramente bene!

La posizione eccellente vicino al lungomare e a pochi passi da taverne, caffetterie e i vari market

L’area di verde e i fiori andrebbero più curati specialmente con questo caldo e in particolare va ripulito il vialetto che dalla piscina porta in un minuto al lungomare!!! Comodissimo! Andrebbe meglio segnalato!

Appartamenti molto carini vicini al mare comodamente raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti. Ampio parcheggio per le auto. Piscina carina. Staff che si occupa delle pulizie molto carino e gentile. Check out tardi molto comodo.

Prima di arrivare ho provato a contattare via chat la struttura ma non ho mai ricevuto alcuna risposta. Per fortuna non ci sono state criticità e check in e check out si sono svolti senza problemi ma sarebbe carino rispondere almeno via messaggio alle domande di un cliente.

La posizione è eccezionale e la piscina piacevole , assolata.

Piena di gatti. Non si può lasciare la porta finestra aperta che entrano. La donna delle pulizie non si è accorta che era entrato un gattino e quando siamo tornate , la sera, aveva fatto i suoi bisogni in giro, lasciando un perdurante cattivo odore. Lo sciacquone era difettoso e ha continuato a scaricare rumorosamente per tutta la settimana., obbligandomi a tenere le porte delle camere chiuse la notte per poter dormire.

Bella struttura, pulita e confortevole, personale accogliente, ottima posizione.

Prenotato per 7 giorni, ma dopo 3 mi obbligano a cambiare location per doppia prenotazione dovuta a loro errore! Orrore! Trovato subito alternativa, decisamente inferiore di livello. Mi sento preso in giro.

La posizione stupenda, vista sulla piscina dalla porta finestra della camera, il giardino con piante e fiori curatissimo, l'accoglienza dei numerosi gatti

Ottima posizione a pochi passi dalla passeggiata a mare e da taverne e market. Pulizia e cambio biancheria da letto e asciugamani. Camera confortevole.La piscina un optional gradevole.

La doccia andrebbe rinnovata e la tenda sostituita da una cabina che eviterebbe dispersione di acqua sul pavimento del bagno.

Posizione ottima vicino alla spiaggia e ai locali.

In a nice town and close to the seaside/ boulevard. Pool with sunbeds on property, nice flowering bushes in the borders, convenience shop by the backdoor.

Although the bed was comfortable, the chairs were metal with thin cushions that were not matching the size or shape of the chairs. And they advertise a poolside bar with softdrinks, alcoholic drinks and snackbar-food from 10.00-16.00 BUT the bar is obviously closed down a while ago. Disappointed.

Wonderful situation in relation to beaches and amend

The swimming pool was black with mold around the edge filter system. Really off putting. Also, safe didn’t work…needed batteries. Bathroom/toilet door broken, so if you locked it, you could get stuck inside. Very limited on cooking utensils for something advertised as ‘self catering’ in comparison with many other places we have stayed. Really needs sprucing up, and a welcome on arrival. Could really do with a cafe/bar, there is an area for this, but not used as such. However,Kos is a wonderful island.

Kontessa supplied most things other appartments don't, like tiolet paper, toaster, even the air conditioning, also comes with extra eminities like slippers to come out of shower, tooth brush and paste, shoe horn, razor kit, excellent should be a 5 star just a couple of things I didn't like, but I would book again if I had a early flight bk home, and not a late flight,

The time we were out of our appartment,which was 12 midday, we have a late flight back home and are not being picked up till 8pm, we asked the lady who cleans the appartments to have a word with the main boss, and we were told too full more guests coming but as we waited downstairs in the heat, we could see our appartment and no one was in there, where n if possible we would have easily paid extra to keep room on longer at least until 6pm because this is now the time I'm writing this still looking at our room we vacated at 12 midday and it's still empty it's not as though we leave our room messy we don't, also the air conditioning could do with silence boxes around them as the noise from other residents conditioning are quite load when trying to sleep,

We loved the location of the apartments & the cleanliness the pool was brilliant loved how close it was to shops & restaurants we will be back .

Let op: info op booking.com klopt niet: -Geen ontvangst, geen receptie. Andere gasten ontvingen ons, en gaven ons informatie over kamer en sleutel -Geen bar/ terras. Dat is listig, want het is een belangrijke reden om dit hotel te kiezen -Geen spellen, fietsverhuur, 24-uurs receptie. Ook daar gaat een bepaalde levendigheid vanuit, die een reden is om voor dit hotel te kiezen -De housekeeping was het aanspreekpunt -Parasols op de balkons (vol in de zon) zijn wenselijk -De prijs (€900 voor 5 nachten) is werkelijk te hoog voor het gebrek aan service en faciliteiten. De prijs verlagen, en de verkoopteksten aanpassen, zou de eerlijke en eenvoudige oplossing bieden

Шикарне розташування, поблизу супермаркети і в п'яти хвилинах пляж, пляж гарний, мало відпочиваючих, завжди є шезлонги. Ціна 8-10 євро 2 шезлонги та парасоля. В готелі гарний басейн, багато місця. Невелика, але приємна територія. В номері справно прибирали, та змінювали рушники і білизну. Від готелю, комплімент пляшка вина, доречі непоганого. Поруч безліч кафе, та ресторанів, я рекомендую Sebastian, дуже класний персонал, смачна та свіжа їжа, порції великі, завжди замовляйте 1-2 страви на двох людей. Моя рекомендація беріть авто, там шикарні пляжі, наче океан, якщо трохи проїхатись. Місцевий пляж одразу біля готелю теж чудовий, море гарного кольору, спокійне і тепле. Але, якщо хочете побачити, вау краєвиди, авто, те, що вам потрібно.

Дуже важко, що персоналу по суті немає, треба телефонувати, якщо щось потрібно. В номері є міні-кухня, але губки помити посуд не було, паперових рушників, і елементарно солі та олії, було добре якби це було. Ми звісно все купили. Був чай та кава, цукор, що дуже приємно. Є одноразові предмети гігієни, супер зручно. Трохи застарілі меблі. Але, якщо чесно, нам було супер комфортно, бо ми багато подорожували островом, і в готелі тальки спали, навіть в басейні всього два раза купались.

The length of my holiday.....

Spotlessly clean, spacious apartment. Nice little kitchen area, dining table & xtra bed. Large bedroom, very comfy beds, dresser & hairdryer & plenty of wardrobe space with hangers. Powerful shower, well lit bathroom. Balcony with table & chairs looking out on a beautiful sea view. The pool is something else 😍. Plenty of sunbeds & never crowded. No loud music, no inflatables - perfection. Staff wonderful & friendly. 2 mins walk to seafront, in a great position 1 street back. Plenty of choice of restaurants & bars, but not rowdy - Kefalos is a really lovely resort. 3 or 4 supermarkets & late opening hours. We had a perfect stay at Kontessa & have already booked to return next year.

Nothing - it was all perfect

Spacious room. Shower gel, washing up liquid Slippers supplied along with tea & coffee. Great pool and although all rooms were booked there were plenty of sunbeds . It never once felt crowded.

It would have been good to have an umbrella on the patio as we weren't able to sit outside until the sun had moved.

The location of the Kontessa Apartments really can't be beat. The most amazing views (especially of the beautiful sunrise) and Just a minute walk from the sea, bars, restaurants, beaches etc. The apartments are bright, clean, have really comfortable beds/pillows and good sized private balconies/terraces. Bed linen and towels are good quality, air con, safe, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also included.  The kitchenette is the usual simple style, kettle toaster etc and enough to prepare drinks and snacks. We always had lots of hot water in the shower (it can flood a little but if you keep the curtain in the right place it's fine), there's loads of storage space for your clothes etc. The pool is a really good size and always quiet, it looks lovely all lit up at night. The snack bar wasn't open so we didn't see any staff during our stay but that suited us as we like peace and quiet (check in is via a note on the gate - super easy). There is  a cat feeding area behind the gate at the steps so please do feed them, some are just kittens! Cleaning was nearly every day, we had three lots of clean towels in 8 days and bed linen was changed halfway through the week. There is free wifi which did drop a few times but most of the time was good quality and speed. There is plenty of parking. All in all we were really very happy with our choice of accommodations and will definitely return.

The only negatives I can say is the grates around the pool edge need to be cleaned and the freezer part of the fridge didn't actually freeze anything. The cost of the transfer offered by the owner was a little high so we booked with another company. A floor brush in the rooms would be a good idea.

We loved the Kontessa, it was clean, perfectly positioned with a beautiful view of the pool and sea, a beautiful sunrise from the balcony, sheets and towels changed regularly. A safe and a/c. We will definitely be back. We had 2 rooms and neither could be faulted.

A very quiet location. Great size swimming pool and well maintained area. The accommodation was spacious and clean. An added unexpected bonus of slippers, eye mask, shower soap, and washing up liquid with tea towel were in the room too. Rooms were cleaned daily (except for Sunday) Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers Only downside was the bar /kitchen area by the pool was closed. Not a huge problem though as supermarket and tavernas were within a 2 minute walk. We would definitely stay there again

Lovely sea and pool view with a very special Tree in between. The pool was larger than it looked from the balkony. The beach and restaurants were very close. The blue of the water was stunning. Host replied alsways very helpful and fast. Always solved my questions.

The neighbors dog on the street barked a little too agressive. But also here we got help :) The pillows are simply too thick to sleep on. There were two each, so it would have been great to have two different ones. Guess they meant it too good ;)

Room was a really good size. Views from the balcony were exceptional. Room and all outside areas kept very clean. Pool was a good size with a separate kids pool and plenty of sun-beds. Air-con done its job, plumbing done its job.

Hard to fault. Rooms maybe a refresh, but they were not bad. There was a snack bar at the pool that was not open. Not really a problem as there is a supermarket 2 minutes away. There was nothing I did not like to be honest.

I would just like to thank both Nikos and Katerina for all their help on my time at Kontessa, the view and location of this property is lovely, Guya who deals with housekeeping was so lovely and helpful, unfortunately I feel ill 2 days before the end of my holiday and Katerina could not do enough to help me.. I have already booked to go back there next year 😊

Fabulous week at kontessa and very relaxing around the pool by day and so quiet at night ... location is perfect for exploring in all directions with a supermarket 5 mins walk away and only about 10 minutes walk to either the beach, or the small fishing port and the old town in the hills only 30 mins walk ... this end of kefalos called " kamari " is just so chilled out but with a good choice of restaurants and small bars ... pool area is huge with many sunbeds and a lovely view ... the owner and his team were all very nice, the rooms not modern but very nice, spacious and cleaned well everyday , for a sensible price these apartments were a great choice and we will be back next time on Kos

A little dated but has everything you need for a great break

Lovely apartment, it is split into two rooms which was helpful so our daughter had her own room. Nice pool and balcony with sea view, great location close to the sea and lots of tavernas. The manager Nick was extremely helpful helping with our questions and requests, and sorted out a hire car and airport transfers for us.

All was good! Might be nice to have a TV, but it's not essential, we took a tablet and laptop for watching programs and that worked well for us.

Schöne, kleine und saubere Apartmentanlage mit Pool !

Location is excellent. Pool is a nice size and is clean. Rooms are ample size with good size outdoor area. Rooms are quiet and the aircon is quiet and of good quality. towels and bedding were of good quality and the beds were OK (definitely had worse in and outside of UK) Small supply of tea, sugar and coffee as well as soap and toilet rolls in bathroom - airer and pegs also supplied. If you are expecting a fully serviced bar area with onsite help 24/7 then this place is not for you but if you prefer to be on your own, coming and going as you please, quiet friendly place then this is for you.

No instructions how to join as we were late arrivals - note your name is on a board outside, telling you your room number and the door of apartment is left open with key in side. We didn't know this and it took us an long time to find this in the dark with the help of another resident as no hotel employee on site after 5pm. There was no breakfast available as no one manned the small bar until after 10am and some days later. This didn't put us off as we ate down the road every day. The towels and bedding was only changed once in the week and as it was in the 30s most days a second change would have been good. Finally there was no room service daily as bins in bathroom was not emptied every day and on last day we had a cockroach but its a 2* accommodation and you pay for what you get - I would still come back as overall the place was quiet, friendly and clean.

Great location, pretty spacious cosy apartment, big swimming pool, bar.

The owner Nicos called us a few minutes before our flight, that the apartment we booked 3 weeks earlier and payed for, is not free and he will give us another one. Yes, they picked us up from the airport afterwards, but the apartment we got was really small with one room, really small bathroom. The room was small even for two people not for three! We couldn't even open the closet, because the bed was right next to it (we were supposed to have 35 sqare meters apartment with separate kitchen and dining area). He told us we will be staying there until our apartment is free, but we came the next morning saying that we will not stay there another night. And suddenly around an hour after that our apartment at kontessa was free and they finally transfered us there, but they never gave us any compensation for that and he didn't even apologize which I, as his customer, consider really rude after all this.

I could say a few negative things, about toilet rolls and the doors being near impossible to lock. But it's great value for money and the pool is a proper job, not the glorified paddling pool that you get with some appartments. Good location, would go there again.

We have stayed at the Kontessa a few times and keep going back. It's lovely and quiet in the pool most days, great for kids while being 3 minutes walk from a number of good bars and places to eat and about the same to the beach. Facilities in the room are typically Greek but the addition of air con is a great addition. Really good resort for a peaceful break and a really good place to stay.

Kontessa's apartments are great very basic , if you don't expect a fancy hotel then they're are fine , The owner is lovely .. Showers aren't up to much

The apartment was pretty standard, but spacious, for Greek islands, but with the advantage of 3 beds and separate bedroom for 2 of them. Well maintained and clean. Sea view room on first floor had balcony view over the bay. Only a short walk to the Promenade (maybe 100m) and plenty of taverna choices. Friendly staff. Nice quiet location and really good size pool with separate shallow pool for kids. Decent size carpark if you're driving yourself. Would definitely recommend or use again. Beds would be a bit short if your 6 foot plus (but I'm not - so it was fine!!).

Once we got past the confusion on whether the booking had been cancelled and paid for all was good. The cancellation confusion came when I changed booking from one person to two. When I was told I had not paid I produced my paperwork to confirm payment had been made there was no further problems. Would definitely recommend the apartment and the resort of Kefalos, very peaceful and laid back. Lovely people.

All'arrivo siamo stati accolti con gentilezza, anche se arrivata alla sera abbiamo trovato il benvenuto sulla porta dell'appartamento ed una fetta di torta, Abbiamo trovato quanto richiesto con i letti aggiunti per le bambine, gli appartamenti sono comodi e funzionali. La posizione lato piscina è buona, al mattino batte un bel sole, un po' caldo. La piscina ed il giardino sono ben tenuti. Il bar apre un po' tardi al mattino, quindi abbiamo optato per la colazione all'aperto preparandola in autonomia. Il residence è vicino al mare alla baia di Kamari è comodo e strategico per le varie spiagge sulla parte est dell'isola, mare calmo e turchino. E' comodo anche per escursioni in auto dall'altra parte dell'isola, Kos e per raggiungere sia l'isola vulcanica di Nasyros molto suggestiva e Kalimnos, l'isola delle spugne e dell'arrampicata sportiva.

Ottima posizione Vicino alle spiagge più belle Staff gentilissimo e disponibile Ci siamo trovati davvero bene
