Everything was amazing just food and wine prices seemed to be very high priced.

The location, the spa facilities and the treatment. The breakfast, their staff, it’s a very special place. It’s our third consecutive summer and love spending time here to reset and recharge.

We had some issues with our bedroom over the last two night. We’ve felt a little bit dismissed when we found out that there were potential bedbugs in our room as I kept on getting bitten at night. Bedbug textbook bites, lineal, clusters and happening over night while in sleeping. This sadly has changed the dynamic of our last couple of days, not as enjoyable and relaxing and has made the departure very stressful.

There is not much around it. No typical vilage, no local folklore So it is good if you are planning a holiday retreat with your family or as a couple but definitely not the night life of Bodrum

Mehrere Fischzuchtfarmen im Meer. Sieht nicht sehr schön aus. Ausser im Mezze Restaurant wurde in den Restaurants der reibungslose Ablauf vermisst. Das Personel war immer sehr freundlich, das Essen schmeckte aber der Servis war okey - entsprach nicht preisleistungsverhältnis. Es gibt einen Family Beach aber auch an den anderem Stränden gab es viele Kinder. Ein Beach für adults only wäre wünschenswert.

An absolutely brilliant property that goes above and beyond - from your personal GEM concierge, the spacious rooms, Aegean views, superb dining and the best breakfast in Europe (including gozleme station), the best gym I've ever seen, the best spa/wellness in Europe (think salt rooms, hydrotherapy circuits, hammams, basketball, pickleball, Technogym, full medical services, deluxe beauty, serious heath regimes). We have stayed at many Six Senses but this property is next level, three private sandy beaches in the private compound, golf buggies to take you around the property, blissful shady gardens, sunset bar and superb dining - from freshly caught fish to tradition lamb/beef kebab. There is a reason why there are no many return guests here. Cannot wait to return!

Everything and the dog Panda

The property itself is genuinely amazing. Three private beaches that stay quiet even when the hotel is at reasonable occupancy. The location manages to feel completely removed from the outside world without ever feeling inaccessible. The remoteness is actually a feature. Our concierge Bushra was beyond amazing, she made the whole stay feel effortless. We had a couple of hiccups early in the stay. What impressed us was how the team handled it. We raised it once, they took it seriously, and they turned it around quickly. In our experience that kind of responsiveness is rarer than it should be at this level, and we genuinely appreciated it.

The one area that fell short was the food pricing. Lunch and dinner were priced at Michelin restaurant levels, which would be fine if the food experience matched that. It was very good, but it did not feel justified at that price point. For a property this strong across the board, it is worth knowing going in.

La estancia en general fue muy agradable. La habitación, las instalaciones, el spa y el entorno natural estuvieron a muy buen nivel y transmiten una sensación de tranquilidad muy especial. También nos gustaron mucho las actividades ofrecidas, los desayunos y la amabilidad del personal durante la mayor parte de la estancia. Es un hotel con una ubicación y un concepto realmente bonitos.

Lo que arruinó completamente nuestra impresión final fue la situación en el check-out. Nos presentaron una factura por un importe aproximadamente el doble de lo realmente consumido y, al pedir una explicación, nos entregaron inmediatamente otra factura correcta, que ya tenían preparada. Más allá del error en sí, lo más grave fue la ausencia total de una disculpa o explicación. Resulta muy difícil aceptar una situación así en un hotel de este nivel y reputación.

Superb hotel. Staff (particularly Maryna, Emel, Alp, James and Kaan) were fantastic. A lot of attention to detail and incredible (and we’ve stayed in a lot of top hotels). Breakfast, location, beaches, buggies all amazing.

Menus could have been better - while we don’t have children over 1, the child menus were not particularly healthy. The biggest downside was the cost of food and drink. While you expect to pay up for Six Senses, the pricing made little sense especially considering we were in Turkey, not the Maldives. Cocktails were more than central Mayfair and food was just off the charts expensive for what you got (kebab - €50+ for a single one - would be a starter in the UK for no more than £20). While I understand that there are many wealthy people visiting, the costs went against us spending.

The hotel's service and amenities were impeccable, and the food in the restaurants was also excellent. I'd especially like to highlight the concierge service, which exceeded all expectations.

We checked-out early in the morning and were rushing to the airport, but the employee took a long time to bring our car to us, which made us nervous.

The light in our closet didn’t work

Beautiful location, very attractive landscaping, very comfortable beds and fluffiest towels ever! Staff very helpful and friendly. Food quality excellent. Can summon an electric buggy to navigate the hilly resort. Room service food options offered a couple of simpler and cheaper options than the main restaurant and we weren't paying extra for water. Didn't use the spa and "wellness" services but were available ( for an additional charge). Member of staff was always available on WhatsApp for any query. Friendly cats and resort dog!

Price of drinks was exhorbitant eg 90 euros for a bottle of ordinary wine and 24 euros for glass of prosecco. Charged for water at dinner without explaining. Also no options for a light snack on site. Food overall was very dear, although good portions and freshly made. Even with a car there are no options to eat elsewhere nearby. Resort uses IT for most things which is fine until it doesn't work!

The hotel is a great option for families even with very small children and babies. The staff are very accommodating, attentive and helpful in making sure that each family member feels taken care of. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and the multiple beach options provide variety. The food options are also great. The staff at the main restaurant are super friendly and make you want to come back again and again! Maryna, Hazal and Emel are superstars that really made our trip special!

The from could have been cleaned a bit better, especially the bathroom. Sometimes the water, tea and cups were not restocked in time, and we needed to call and ask them to bring more.

We spent a week at Six Senses Kaplankaya and cannot recommend it enough overall. Although about an hour’s drive from the airport through hills and villages, the journey is well worth it once you arrive at this sanctuary of peace and beauty. The highlight is the staff: from the personalised GEM service by Melis, to the professional restaurant and spa teams, and the ground staff who ran daily activities — everyone made us feel welcome. Our maid, who provided thoughtful twice-daily service, left a lasting impression even though we didn’t catch her name. The spa was outstanding, with treatments that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed a variety of complimentary activities, which kept the week engaging. Along with access to the numerous beaches, gym, yoga and sports facilities. Dining is a mixed point: the restaurants serve delicious meals, but it can become expensive and limited if staying more than a few nights. On the other hand, breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of fresh options to enjoy throughout the week. On arrival, however, there was no welcome drink and my VIP status was not acknowledged — no upgrades, discounts, or added benefits, which was disappointing. That said, the check-in process was quick and efficient. Overall, this is not just a resort — it’s a destination where you can truly relax, reset, and feel cared for at every moment. We left deeply refreshed and are already considering a return.

Мне понравилось в отеле все: природа, атмосфера , персонал , удобства , комфорт, тишина , покой , вкусная еда, есть выбор полезной еды. Очень хочу поблагодарить наших менеджеров Мелис и Тугба, они мгновенно отвечали на все наши запросы в вотсапп, создавали нам комфортную атмосферу (10 баллов). Великолепные услуги в спа , благодарны Гюлис, Ким , Меган, много новой информации по оздоровлению организма . Хочу отметить официанта по имени Бахар , большое ей спасибо . Уборку в номере девушка по имени Наргиз проводила хорошо. Большая просьба к руководству отеля организовать места кормления животных, на территории отеля их живет много, они абсолютно безобидны , очень добрые , не нарушают покой отдыхающих , но было бы хорошо организовать именно со стороны отеля поддержку их жизнедеятельности , даже для приезжающих детей это был бы хороший пример заботы о братьях наших меньших . Все в отеле было замечательно , мы обязательно сюда вернемся , это настоящее прекрасное место с прекрасной природой , покоя, комфорта, ментального здоровья и очень приятных людей , как персонал отеля, так и отдыхающие.

Такого нет . Есть только пожелание о дополнительной заботе к животным .

You won’t find a better hotel. It’s remote so you’ll be staying in the resort the whole time but it’s definitely worth it. The GEM service is a great touch.

The location is stunning, with several beautiful beach spots and restaurants for different occasions. Everything is oriented towards health and sport – the gym and basketball facilities are excellent, biking and hiking routes have breathtaking views, and the padel and tennis courts are top-notch. The boat trip was also unforgettable. Food was fresh and delicious, with most ingredients locally sourced. Our personal manager, Anastassiya, was incredibly helpful and attentive 24/7.

The only small issue was that the cleaner kept taking away the candies and cookies we had paid for, which was a bit inconvenient.

Extremely Disappointing Experience. We chose this hotel expecting a world-class experience. What we got was neglect and indifference. My wife became seriously ill with food poisoning after dining in the hotel’s restaurant on the first night. We ordered a locally caught fish which was grilled just for us. Only we ate this. We lost 3 out of the 5 days, my wife confined to our room not to rest, but unable to leave. The level of hygiene in the outside restaurant was shocking. When our fish dish arrived, the waiter leaned in so close to the plate — face nearly in the food — as he checked for bones. He wasn’t wearing a mask, continually wiped his nose on his sleeve mid-service, and the blue medical gloves he put on as he pulled out the bones had been stuffed in his trouser pocket. This was downright unsanitary. The hotel made no real effort to take responsibility, instead trying to shift the blame to elsewhere. There was no concern shown to my wife, apology made to her or even a question directly to her on departure as to how she was. Be aware too of the fish farm directly opposite the hotel. The fish slime coats the sea water where you swim in the bay. The hotel try to keep on top of the slime but that’s a hard task and not always do they succeed. Small pool area over in with kids and left messy by those who use it.

What an amazing property. Everything from the food to the service to the amenities was top notch. Taha was excellent and really did the most to make sure our stay was great. The food is incredible and so fresh. Highly recommend staying here.

The premises are fantastic - two beaches (a main one and one for families), various restaurants, and fantastic breakfast. The spa and gym facilities are outstanding (probably the best ones in European Six Senses I have tried). Above all, the staff is very friendly and forthcoming. We were travelling with our toddler and the team managed by Enel is fantastic!

It is a hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum's beaches and parties. A great place for families or to relax and connect with nature. The food is of excellent quality in all restaurants and the staff is very helpful and available. There is a wide variety of activities for both adults and children.

The indoor pool, although advertised as heated, was colder than the outdoor pools. The hotel is 1-hour drive from the nearest airport, and the journey is sometimes not very pleasant, as the road is in poor condition. I would not recommend arriving at night, as the road can be a bit scary, although it is quite scenic during the day.

Fabulous hotel. We stayed both here and the Mandarin O in Bodrum and this hotel blew the MO out of the water in every sense. Six Senses was brilliant - from the staff, the level of personalisation, the spa, the beaches, the free baby food… just fantastic! We will be back.

Beautiful hotel, lots of activities and facilities. Upside - Kids club fab and the wonderful lady there kept my daughter occupied for hours. Free kids food for under 6 really appreciated. Room was beautiful - after some moving. Spa is best I have ever seen or experienced, beach look magnificent, service with personal concierge on Whatsap beyond helpful. The service is outstanding.

Restuarants that were supposed to be open - per their dates - were not. So we lost a whole restaurant and bar area. Then the others all close at the same time - literally nowhere to get food at a certain period. Then they closed another restaurant unexpectedly for a night while we were there - and over cautiously closing entire outdoor areas and even beach in expectation of bad weather left very, VERY limited choices and no where at all close to drive to eat as an alternative. We ate a lot via room service - which was luckily delicious. No outdoor pools were heated, so both totally usable, beach restaurant closed on bad days. There were days where there was only the same place to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. I saw families just sit in their same table for every meal multiple days in a row. Every meal. The hotel needs to think ahead and solve this problem. Also they at first put us in rooms - that had a bad view - with hedges and overlooking roof of other buildings, very dark, lights needed all the time. They worked with me and we eventually found a perfect room - which was actually a class down but bright. I would be very disappointed to book sea view and get any of the rooms they initially showed me which was many.

The restaurants are lovely- never had a bad meal and the beach is really nice, the gardens and the outlook of the property in general is beautiful. Gym was great, and kids club was exceptional. Staff in the restaurants were lovely and it was a very family friendly hotel, but with that being said I wouldn’t reccomend for people not travelling with young children.

There was a significant issue with our bill, that I have never encountered in any other 5 star property. Also our room ( non smoking!!!) STUNK of smoke, the rooms are under par for a six senses property and need some investment. But the main issue was the cigarette smell which was so appalling I could barely sleep. It should never have been handed over in that state.

It was the best hotel in every aspect. The biggest issue was that we visited during the off-season, and it would have been helpful if we had been informed in advance that the restaurant, pool, and activities would be closed. While we enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing stay, it could feel a bit boring at times.

Kids club was amazing! The room was very spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly. The breakfast and food was great! Also loved the spa.

The hotel was amazing, but there’s a few small things I didn’t love. Everything is very very expensive - for example, an aperol spritz is €30. I also wish they provided more water in the room. The tv screen mirroring didn’t work, and the only English channels were news channels. Also, beware that the drive to the hotel is very windy and bumpy… our entire family got extremely car sick. But honestly, it’s worth it once you’re there!

A piece of heaven on the Aegean coast. 3 beautiful beaches, amazing food options and great service by lovely people. Nice, easy walking tracks around the property where you can watch the sun rise and set. Will definitely return next year!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Six Senses Kaplankaya. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und das Hotel bietet unglaublich viel. Der Transfer vom Flughafen Bodrum dauert ca. eine Stunde und ist nicht sonderlich angenehm. Die Strasse ist eher rudimentär und in mittelmässigem Zustand. Einmal angekommen begeistert die wunderschöne Umgebung und die Anlage des Hotels, welche in das felsige Küstenterrain eingebettet ist. Das Hotel und die beeindruckenden Grünanlagen sind gut gepflegt. Da sich das Hotel über 500 Hektaren erstreckt und am Hang gelegen ist, gibt es einen gratis Buggyservice mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Fahrern. Wir hatten einen Ridge Terrace Garden View Room, eine Art freistehendes Häuschen mit kleiner Terasse, das sich etwas vom Hauptgebäude entfernt in der obersten Häuserreihe befindet. Das Zimmer war nett mit einem grosszügigen und bequemen Bett und einem grossen Badezimmer ohne Badewanne. Für unsere Tochter wurde das Sofabett am Fusse des Elternbetts inkl. Bettgitter vorbereitet, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Leider bietet das Zimmer etwas wenig Stauraum und Ablagefläche für Kleidung und Koffer. Der Service zeichnet sich insbesondere durch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeitenden aus. Es kam teilweise zu Unstimmigkeiten und ab und an wurde der Tisch über längere Zeit nicht abgeräumt. Grundsätzlich war aber alles super. Besonders für Kinder bietet das Hotel sehr viel tolles Programm und einen eigenen Spielraum.

My only regret is not booking for more days, one week here it is definitely not enough. Starting with the impeccable staff, food, amenities, views to die for, beaches where you don’t have the sense of overfilling with sunbeds, it could noy have been any better

The staff were friendly, spacious property and had a nice beach near by Ahinga beach (with transport). A range of spa treatments. Room good.

Cost of food was very very expensive and food choices were limited across all restaurants at hotel. Spa treatments were expensive, advertising they have certain spa courses but only to find out they had ended e,g., Ayurvedic. Way to too far from bodrum, takes 1.5 hour or even 2 by car to go to bodrum. There is a boat that goes to Turkbaku but it is €50 each way per person ! And only goes twice a day. Not a good range of breakfast or food for a vegetarian.

I really enjoy this hotel. It is very convenient if you are travelling with family and kids as well, as you have everything you need in the hotel. Good selection of restaurants, very nice private beach, amazing spa and huge gym. Friendly staff and outstanding breakfast. Really recommend
