We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the freshly prepared breakfast was delicious. The location is out of the way, but it has a very nice view, and it is quiet. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their border collie, Molly, gave us a wonderful show bringing in the sheep for the evening (they have a working hobby farm).

A beautiful place, right in the Irish countryside. Super clean, comfortable and very hospitable. We loved it.

Absolute gem of a B&B with wonderfully welcoming hosts, a great room with comfortable bed and fully private bathroom with shower. The breakfast truly was outstanding, the location lovely and quiet but not too far from the main road. Highly recommend, as good as a 4 four star hotel at a fraction of the price. Excellent!

Very comfortable, excellent host. The weather was bad but our host gave us some great ideas for outings. Really enjoyed our visit to Sligo and the surrounding area.

We enjoyed our stay, our host was lovely and the scenery was beautiful but we were away from being able to buy anything. The town close by was closed. Our host kindly enough made us some dinner

An excellent place to stay. The couple that runs the B&B are very sweet and welcoming. The place is clean with great views and the breakfast is phenomenal.

Such a beautiful view and we loved the lambs and the donkey, Jack. Our bed in our room was a bit uncomfortable, but our other traveling companions said their bed was good. We really enjoyed breakfast and appreciated that the host took good care of us even though she had something unexpected come up. We had a lovely visit!

We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. We so enjoyed being part of a working farm, and the views of Lough Arrow were nothing short of stunning, especially at sunset. Thank you again, Noeleen and Kieran for a lovely time, and we will surely be back again for another visit!

This was fantastic! It’s a bit off the road on a farm which we really appreciate. The room was comfy and our hostess was the bestest, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The common room was large and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. And the food at McDermott’s Pub was really good.

Quiet room, great homemade breakfast. I loved seeing the birds in the pastures among the sheep and cattle. Very friendly and enjoyable hosts. The day was warm so we had a couple of flies sneak in the open windows. Our only complaint which was minor:)

Hillcrest B&B was an amazing stay for me! The hostess was very kind and friendly, breakfast was delicious(Best eggs and bacon ever!), the room was very comfortable and cozy, and I felt very safe staying there. Our hostess was especially wonderful to talk to and recommended beautiful sights for us to see on our journey.

Lovely place to stay for a quiet get away if you wanted that. I stayed one night only for a course the next day, but I would definitely consider staying there again in the future for a leisurely break with family. Noleen the host was lovely.

Probably one of my favorite locations I stayed in all of Ireland. The breakfast was an amazing spread and she will also make you something hot to order. Lovely room with an amazing view overlooking the lake. Not much to do nearby so the perfect getaway in the country! Will absolutely book again if available when I'm back.

We spend one night and everything was so nice and comfortabel. The host was very helpfull. We had tea and cake at arrival. And she brought us to a pub for a maal in the evening. Very good breakfast. Good price-quality top. We would come back again!

The owners are absolutely amazing, super kind and welcoming people! Their home is beautiful and warm, set in an amazing location with stunning views! I couldn’t get enough of the lake view from my room. The room was spotless with all the things you could need. The bathroom and shower were great too! Breakfast was really delicious too, freshly cooked to order, lots of options too! I really enjoyed talking to other guests staying at breakfast as well as the owners of the B&B. Very friendly people with an amazing home offering lovely rooms and a great stay! I’d stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Really loved our night, excellent information from host. Fixed a meal up as no close by venues plus after driving in the rain most of the day we didn't want to go out that night. I had a truly fantastic stay at Hillcrest B&B. Check-in and check-out were very easy and Noeleen was not only communicative but very helpful. The room, bed and facilities were extremely comfortable. I also enjoyed a very tasty and filling breakfast. I only saw the view from the room and dining room for a brief moment as I arrived after dark and there was a thick fog in the early morning. However as the fog lifted, the breathtaking view gradually revealed itself. Coupled with how well they keep the grounds and how picturesque their organic farm is, this is possibly one of the best B&Bs in Ireland.

The property is remote, but has beautiful scenery. The staff is exceptional as well.

Noreen is an excellent host. A warm welcome with refreshments awaited us after our long journey . A very comfortable B & B situated on a working farm overlooking a lake with beautiful views. We enjoyed safe walkways to breathe in the healthy fresh air and view the animals that abounded.

Absolutely amazing!! Couldn't have asked for lovelier hosts, and the breakfast was incredible. We did not realize the spot was as rural as it was, but Nolene made the stay--while brief--a very comfortable and hospitable one. The scenery was gorgeous, and the spot just lovely! Cannot recommend Hillcrest B&B enough.

The proprietor was very accommodating. Noelene was personable. Of course, Molly, the sheepdog should be acknowledged.

This is the most beautiful setting. Nature is at it’s most spectacular here with the baaaa’s of sheep, the cows and horses. The interior design of the house could be featured in a magazine. I hate to leave here.

That view tho! This place is kind of remote, no walking anywhere, but they don't call it hillcrest for nothing. The hoestess was very friendly, but not pushy or overly chatty. We went to Sligo to see a movie and came back late and no problem. Breakfast was nice.

I thought the property was excellent value for money. It was a little remote but the views from the front bedroom made up for that.

This b&b was amazing the owners are so nice we had several great conversations. The breakfast menu has great options for everyone even though we stayed with the full Irish and coffee (it's my favorite). Every part of our stay was amazing and the views are so beautiful. I am glad I booked this b&b again next month.

Sadly we didn't end up staying in the Hillcrest B&B. We drove there and we were early but no one was home. The B&B looked nice but very far from everything even restaurants for lunch or supper. We decided that it wasn't the place for us so we continued on our journey. Donna Norton.

Great place to stay for exploring the Sligo area, very welcoming host and great breakfast too. My room had a wonderful view across the lake towards the Bricklieve Mountains and the Carrowkeel passage tombs. Room very comfortable and clean, with everything you need. Will definitely stay again.

An exceptional B&B where the friendly hosts go out of their way to be helpful. The room is extremely well appointed- in fact the best of our trip. Can't recommend this B&B enough.

A friendly family run traditionally Irish B&B. Lovely rural location with beautiful views. A relaxed welcoming atmosphere that made me feel it was 1975 again, I sat out watching a beautiful June sunset. Easy ample parking and a good breakfast to start the day. Fantastic value and I’d stay again.

We got a big room with a fantastic view of Lough Arrow and service was excellent. Lovely sweet pancakes on the breakfast menu, freshly made. It’s far away from the maddening crowd, all you’ll hear at night are sheep.

I stayed at hillcrest for 1 night. The owner was friendly and very helpful. The house was comfortable and clean. The view was stunning. I also had a cooked breakfast which was perfect. I would highly recommend Hillcrest to anyone who is looking for a B&B in sligo.

The room had an incredible sunset view and the owners were great hosts. They helped me find the out of the way places I wanted to get to and even drove me up to the start of the trails. A number of options for breakfast and it was tasty and filling.

The bathroom was clean and a good size. The hosts were both very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hillcrest.
