The fact that information was incorrect, and terrible value for money as a local traveler. No evening meal was available. No Mini bar as advertised available. No Hot water for a morning shower. Run down premises badly in need of attention.

Location good for our purpose of visiting the places with flowers. Big rooms.

The building is old with wooden frames that made a lot of noise when the wind was blowing.

The Pool area

My Anyhoo's...what an absolutely dissapointing stay. We arrived and was met with a very stagnant smell throughout the establishment. As if the air is afraid of circulating. We proceed to our, same smell. The door squeaks and creeks at the same (seriously). The floor creeks with every step, extremely irritating. The pictures are deceiving, it is a makeshift bathroom so small you can't even get undressed to shower. There was no hot water the evening or the morning. And the "sliding door" needs to be open to brush your teeth. Absolutely ridiculous. We get in to bed, and guess what, another "creek" show. The "creek show" defeated me. Good to say my husband and I did not have a good rest. The morning, I wanted to make coffee again, as we had the night before. So I asked John whom I am assuming is the manager, wont he give me attitude 😤 you have to be joking, right. Nothing works nd this mn hs the audacity to lecture me over two R7 packets of ricoffy? I WOULD NOT be returning... my suggestion would be the vine or Klawer hotel. At least there you'll have warm water and a creek free place. And coffee 😅😅😅...Till next time...

No minibar - but its listed under facilities. Only Netflix available. Would've loved to see a news channel.

Hotel felt old, worn down. You can see the owner is overseas in Jamaica. No hand on the property. Breakfast was very average. Accommodation was very expensive for what I received.

The room was spacious and equipped with everything one could imagine. The pool was a great spot to relax and cool down on a very hot day.

Safe and secure. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. Availability of outside braai facilities and a swimming pool. Coffee, tea and rusks availability in our rooms. Thank you! Breakfast is offered but guests must request.Please ask guests because this is something that one can forget.

On my booking it was stated that our room(s) will have a kitchenette but it did not have. A microwave was provided. Thank you. Maybe description of rooms can be more clear on booking sites. Coffee creamer was provided but would have loved fresh milk.☺️ Bar fridge was stocked full (nice!) but would have loved some space for our own beverages, etc.

The accommodation did not meet our expectation,

The building used to be a school, so the bedroom used to be a classroom. It is very spacious, but well-furnished and decorated. It is old-world charm and we enjoyed it a lot. The host, John, is very friendly and caring. He made a good suggestion for our supper restaurant, although there is everything you need to do self-catering. There is Netflix, but we didn't make use of it. The wifi works well.

We felt that the first impression could be improved. The reception office is also huge (school), but it is not tidy. We understand that paperwork exists, but it should not be visible to guests. A nice screen to hide it will work well.

Property was outstanding.

The rooms are huge (old classrooms) but the bathrooms are exceptionally small in relation to the size of the room.

The dinner menu did not have any variety.
