Good One Poshtel & Café Bar

Central location with lots of restaurants around. 2 min walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the bed could have been more comfortable.

The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is the fact something was really noisy in the evening/night. It woke me up several times. The employees are genuine and caring for their guests. The size of the room is perfect

Ok

I appreciate the staff's hospitality and for providing me convenience and comfort in my stay with them. I had a wonderful time in Bangkok because my stay is pretty much straightforward and easy to go around.

Nice place. Hard bed which is to be expected also loved the smal singel bed rooms and was my first time experiencing that. Bathrom and showers was clean.

Rooms are tiny but for the money it’s a good deal. Toilets and showers are shared but clean and spacious.

The air quality in the hotel is excellent. I noticed this on a previous stay and booked again. The cleanliness of the hotel, new furnishings and air conditioning units all play a role in the high air quality. Also, how the private rooms are designed provide a buffer against any fine particulate. For this reason alone I recommend booking. The staff however, were exceptional again. The front desk staff are masters of customer service and always willing to serve. I wished to stay longer but the rooms were all sold out. I only have praise for this property and the management, it's second to none!

よかった！

Right from the moment I recieved a message reply from the hotel, I knew this would be a good experience. The message began with "Dear Beloved Guest" which I have not seen in a message reply for a special request. It made me feel quite special and my request was graciously approved. Upon check in I was greeted by a warm and attentive staff member and quickly checked in. My first impression of the room was, extremely clean. Not a speck of dirt or odour. The air conditioner worked well and it offered purification from the pollution outside. The unit was near new and well maintained. The positive experience only continued as communication with all staff members was exceptional. I was waiting for a package with some confusion from the sender but the staff worked hard to listen to all my requests. When checking out my package still hadn't arrived. I was getting worried but as I waited for a grab (which cancelled on me after a long delay) a smiling staff member exited the hotel and brought my delivered package to me. He really went the extra mile and I'm confident they would do this for all their guests. 100% recommend booking here if you're solo or a couple. I would have booked in longer but they were sold out.

The hygiene condition was so so. Flying insects and ants could be found in the shared bathroom area. But overall speaking, the overall experience matches the rent paid.

Super good. I got a single room with the shared bathroom. The bathrooms could have been cleaner for sure, and some kind of door between the bathroom entrance and the rooms because my room was right next to the toilet and i could hear every flush and every tap noise. But otherwise really nice and the staff were the best. Super smiley and helpful and they let me use the shower even after I checked out. Would highly recommend

Friendly staff and good location. The shared facilities were always kept clean. Room is tiny, but for this price it doesn’t matter.

Good location. BTS train right next door. Nearest 7/11 about 400 meters. Bad: all the talking and TV and alarm clocks from the neighboring rooms belong to your room

No widows! The manager/attendant said, "There are tall buildings around, so there wouldn't be a view." I asked why did not state rooms have no windows in your description of the hotel? I kept my door cracked the first night to avoid claustrophobia. Fortunately, the other man on the floor with private rooms bailed after one night, and I was able to open wide my door the next night. I then moved to a hotel with windows. This place may be good for young guys who select tiny rooms with shared bathrooms, a la capsule hotels.

The rooms do not have windows! I had to keep my door cracked open to avoid claustrophobia. I switched from a double private bathroom to a single shared bathroom for a second day just to justify taxiing to the establishment in order to getaway from Nana and be a bit closer to Lumphini Park. Then I am to return to Nana; it is a bit boring and vanilla here.

とても清潔でスタッフも親切です♪

窓が無い事以外はパーフェクト

Very good location for very good price. Very near to chong nonsi BTS station and only 3 stations to siam station. Walking distance to Silom Area. Private single room is very good option if you travel on budget but still want privacy.

No good

Best hostile in Bangkok. The staff are super kind, helpful, generous and smiling 😊 Highly recommend to anyone. The rooms are perfect. Very close to the metro and other surroundings.

Friendly helpful staff Very clean Great location

Clean friendly place. Great location

They have a unique characteristic of closing the check in counter at 11:00 pm. You need to call ahead to let them know. However, if you happen to have a problem and, for example instead of arriving at 1:30am as planned, you arrive at 4:30. Good luck because the phone number they give you was "unavailable at this moment". So sneak in thru the back and sleep in the lobby. I got a single room, there were no windows and the bed was murder! If you are used to memory foam or plush beds get ready. I "solved" the problem sleeping on top of a pillow. Which BTW they only gave me 1 extra. Also it's not really a hostel, just met 1 other person and there are no activities so guests can meet. If you are getting a single room, pay a little more and sleep in a proper hotel. Oh, the lobby is beautiful, rooms look good and are clean, the location is amazing!! and one staff was great.

The staff

Super sweet that opened at 3am for me . But the room vas a box / closet with out window , I could not even fit my suitcase in the room …. The madras was so thin that felt I was sleeping on the floor … And you hear people in the toilet / taking shower … lol It’s super quiet / no community so you can’t meet anyone as so common area …

My one-night stay at this hostel was an absolute delight! Despite the brevity of my visit, I was welcomed with unparalleled warmth by the host manager and his cousin. Their kindness and friendliness added an extra layer of joy to my solo trip, particularly during the bustling New Year's Eve. Their hospitality truly made my experience memorable and enjoyable. A massive thanks to them for their exceptional service. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone seeking a friendly atmosphere and genuine hospitality during their travels!

super clean and everything you need from a hostel, the location is great, so many nice restaurants around the place.

Front desk girl is polite

Good location quite close to bts chongnonsi and friendly staff.

Great location, super near BTS and food market, enjoyed my stay there

單價交通方便，適合個人旅遊

a capsule hotel with door and enough space for a single user, its very special!!!

Excellent at this price. The boss is kind and offers help at the right time.

The hostel is located right near Chong Nonsi station which is very convenient. The pod style room are private and quite. The staff are really friendly and hospitable. They make you feel at home. Overall its a really good place to stay when in Bangkok.

I cannot rate this hostel excellent because the singe cubicle rooms (mine was on floor 4) are cheap and nasty, way too small for my liking and with a rock hard bed. Also you have no control over the room temperature and I started to get sick from being too cold. On the other hand, the private bathroom double rooms (mine was on floor 5) are excellent. The one thing they lack is a window but after staying 3 nights in the cubicle room, it didn't worry me. Pluses: very good staff, very clean, good facilities, everything worked, basic but OK free breakfast and excellent location in the Silom happening area very close to the King Power Tower (of Power), Patpong markets and the whole Silom scene. Easy to get a BTS train to Siam Centre or the excellent MBK centre For Western food I was impressed by both nearby Buddy's Bar and Grill and Beef and Shakes (see my reviews) I can recommend the private rooms but avoid the single cubicles unless you like being enclosed.

Employers are really friendly. Good location. They are under construction so you see kind of disorder in the halls, but no that bad.

1. The place is easily accessible (a few minutes' walk from Chong Nonsi BRT Station). 2. The room was very clean. 3. The residents in the other rooms, especially those from China) were very noisy. They played music loudly even at 1 am. (Luckily, I went to bed later than that.)

comfy, clean, the bathrooms are super nice and clean, friendly staff, the dorm was quite at night and got a simple free breakfast of cereal.and Close to Chong Nonsi BTS station. and this is My very first hostel dorm experience! sooo great!!!

The cafe is cute and cozy but their baked goods have been sitting out for days and I ordered a croissant and got the driest, hardest croissant I ever had in my life. Also, the door to the dorm beeps loudly if not closed all the way and that has caused a lot of us to wake up in the middle of the night when returning guests don't realize they have to push the door in more. And the dorm floor always felt dirty every day. Aside from those things, the staff is friendly and helpful. Elevator is nice. The dorms are spacious with a large bathroom accessible from inside. Large shower as well, with hot water. Privacy curtain around the bed is thick so the nightlight doesn't disturb too much. It would be nice if there was a small locker or shelf to store things next to the bed. There are medium-sized lockers and you will need your own lock. There's also a washer and dryer in the basement to use for a small fee and a kitchen/work area on the top floor with a fridge, microwave, and sink. Location is very convenient, just steps from the Chong Nonsi BTS station and across the street from the Mahanakhon Skywalk.

Love Good One hostel! Comfy beds, lovely staff, and 24 hr reception making it super easy and convenient! Curtains along the beds for privacy and good clean shower and toilets. Staff are all so friendly

Rooms are clean and air-conditioned, bathroom is also great, with the exception of the locks which 100% need replacing as they come are simple hooks that come undone at a push. Very well priced for Bangkok and the staff are extremely friendly and speak good English. Thank you to them for finding and returning my hat.

After reading several reviews of other hostels in scattered locations around town, I knew the Good One was going to live up to its name! Clean, good facilities, helpful staff, power points and lights in each bunk, privacy curtains, and lockers are all great amenities!! Cheap laundry is an added bonus! Breakfast (cereal and toast - coffee not included though) is also free and served in their cozy cafe on the ground floor which is a comfortable place to hang out both day and night! Thank you for a nice stay Good One :)

I moved in here on 3 days ago and have already extended my stay. I'm loving the very cosy and comfortable beds. The dorm rooms are soundproof so the sleep is undisturbed. the bathrooms and toilets are clean at all times and pretty large. Doesn't feel like you're living in a hostel. The staff is ever so smiling and helpful and one of the rare qualities among all of them is their high standards of the English language. It's so rare in Thailand. Makes it really easy for tourists like me to converse. A very smart move from the management :) Special shout out to Mac who went out of his way to help me literally sort out my potential life in Bangkok 🤗 The only thing I would change are the wooden boxes that are kept as stools for seating in the outside smoking area. They are not comfortable and therefore not conducive for conversations that can get so engaging in a place like Good One :)

Cozy and beautiful cafe and bar Great place and very cheap for the downtown location! Very near sky train and market You can easily find local food and east to access Bangkok Room is clean and bed is comfortable Love that bathroom is inside the dorm! Will definitely stay here again

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! The bed & bathroom is very clean. They also provided Shampoo & Shower Cream in case you didn't bring yours. The price is very affordable and we can get free breakfast start from 8 am until 11 am. They served 2 toasted bread with strawberry jam & butter plus corn flakes with milk. The location is also very strategic, it's near BTS Chong Nonsi (exit 3) and there's also 7 Eleven from the BTS exit on the way to the hostel. It's my 3rd time stay in here and I'd definitely come back again cause it's so comfortable that feels like home. The staff also very friendly & willing to help you 😊. So if you're in Bangkok definitely worth to give it a try to stay in here.

Comfortable, private beds and a friendly welcome from staff. Although there's an upstairs common area, the A/C was broken during my visit so the lovely downstairs cafe became a really great place to sit and relax instead!

We were walking to the BTS and stumbled across this Gem. Cool atmosphere that has good music and really strong drinks. AC works great because many other establishments don’t have it. Great for conversation. We Will visits again. Highly recommend.

A pleasant hostel, clean and friendly comfortable beds and good facilities. As a budget travel this is all one needs but it some of the rooms could do with a bit of TLC and the free breakfast is a bit lackluster. there isn't much in the way of organize events. But all in all a pleasant stay.

This place have seen better days and have not been kept up. The bed and sheets were cleaned but that was just about it. The bathroom and room have not been kept up to maintenance. Hostel got alot of potential and I hope the owner take note. Its in a prime location.

i like this dorm clean and comfortable, washroom inside the dorm too not need to go out again. location nearby bts too not so far, really good hostel. all staff is friendly. i will come back again.......

Probably one of the best hotels in my trip. It is well located next to a train station and one corner away from Silom Road. Some positive aspects: comfortable beds, clean room and bathrooms, all bunk beds have curtains, locker for backpacks next to the bed. The staff is friendly and bar is open until 12am. There is a good atmosphere since people outside the hostel come for beers. They provide towels in exchange of a deposit. Negative aspects: It was not too busy and therefore only few people to meet.

It is good to fine some good croissants and coffee in south east Asia. It is part of a hostel but we only went for the breakfast. It is easy to find in as it is placed in a Main Street in the south of Bangkok.

Customer service was good. But the room has some ants and need more organiser or tables to put stuff or shampoo related things

Great location and vibe. The room was clean and AC was on point. It's also close to two BTS stops and tons of nightlife within walking distance. Will be staying here again in the future.

Really enjoyed my stay hear at the good one hostel. We liked it’s proximity to the train station which meant that we could see what Bangkok could offer. Did find that for going out this hostel was a bit out of the way but the staff were lovely and would always offer to book us a taxi

I had visited there for 5 consecutive days and tried all possible cocktails, French fries & croissant ice cream. All of them were great... the staff is awesome and ambiance is simple and mild... would recommend...

The hostel has comfortable beds and is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the facilities! A little shelf to keep your phone safe on the top bunks would be helpful.

The hostel is very well located, close to transports, silom area and patpong market. The staff it's really nice wich make you feel welcome. The dorms and the toilet are clean. The beds are big and comfortable. I enjoyed my first stay so much that I got back 😀

Nice hostel, with clean comfortable rooms, but close to Skytrain, so bring earplugs!

The location was good even though a little bit far from BTS Chong Nonsi more than I expected. Staff were kind. The en-suited private room was so comfortable. But, since the room was near by the BTS rail bridge, it was too noisy to sleep well from early morning to midnight. (I didn’t care so much but for those who care about sounds while sleeping, I don’t reccomend) And during my stay, the lift was unavailable so it was too hard to back to my room in 6th floor all by stairs. Thus, if the lift was available, I would recommend this place for sure!

The location of the hostel is convenient. Nice bed with a curtain, which gives you privacy. And the bathroom is clean and spacious. Comfortable yet cheap place.

24hours lobby reception, there is lift to bring us and luggage upstair, towel-keylock and access card provided with some deposit of money. We can keep our luggage next to our bed, and can lock it. Easy to find and very close to BTS

It's very convenient, just 2 minutes' walk from BTS station, and also close to Silom district. Staff was helpful and nice.Everything is good

This hostel is quite new, so all is still working and well maintained. WiFi is even working in the room! Everything is clean (daily housekeeping). I liked the privacy the most - all beds have curtains. Lockers are provided and you get a lock is against a deposit. The staff is awesomely friendly and supportive, all requests were immediately addressed. I had a minor injury and one of them stayed longer than his shift and accompanied me to the hospital! I also highly appreciated that they allowed me to have a shower long after checking out and they provided me a fresh towel. I booked the night train and I could store my luggage in a safe and locked room until I had to leave for the station. The hostel is conveniently located very near to a BTS station, so easy to move around. All in all a great stay in a great hostel, thank you guys!!!

Staff was friendly and called me by name. Room was clean and bathrooms cleaned throughout day. Breakfast included was toast and jelly, cereal and milk. Bar and cafe on first level. Great place to stay for a day or a while. Nice when traveling alone to meet new people.

The hostel has a very new, nice, modern interior. My dorm bed has a reading light and the locker is big. Bathrooms and toilets are also very clean and big too. My favourite is the lovely served breakfast - toast&butter&jam and cornflake with milk.

Nice, modern hostel with a relaxed vibe. Rented a private room with shared bathroom, bathroom was cleaned daily and only shared with a few rooms so always free. Very well located for links into Siam or the train station. Would recommend.
