The staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. There was plenty of hot water.

The towels need to be replaced, and a fair amount of maintenance needs to be done - particularly in the bathroom. The photos on the website displayed a stunning entrance and garden, but unfortunately both need attention. Furthermore, the name Aerotropolis is extremely difficult to see from the road as there is no lighting in that vicinity.

We didn't order breakfast, but I loved that the place is quite, just what my partner and I needed.The fact that the mall was 7 mins away from the place was a bonus. We booked late on Friday and the venue was kind enough to let us check in between 19h00 to 20h00, which some venues do not allow. So thank you for that.

You can add more lights especially near the family unit. Either than that, all was good.

El hotel está situado muy cerca del aeropuerto en una zona muy segura que es lo que realmente nos interesaba. Tiene un jardín muy acogedor y las habitaciones muy cómodas y límpias. Estuvimos en temporada de invierno autral y la verdad es que pasamos frío el el hospedage. Las camas tiene buenos edredones pero fuera de la cama el frí se notaba.

Servicio de desayuno y restaurante muy justo y muy básico. El comedor no está preparado para acomodar a toda la gente a la vez que se hospeda por lo que a pesar de despertarnos pronto nos tocó esperar. La comida es justa, muy poca cantidad, poco variada y muy para salir del paso. Café tipo Nescafé, 1 tostada como máximo y huevos y fruta escasa de variedad. Realmente necesitan mejorar el desyuno. La ducha comarte termo con otra habitación. Los héspedes de la habitación del lado se ducharon antes y nos quedamos sin agua caliente.

We booked the place to stay close to the airport and we were very satisfied. It offered everything we needed: spacious bedroom, free shuttle (with a very friendly driver), generous dinner, and good breakfast. After check-out, we were allowed to leave our bags and hang out in the garden while waiting for our flight. Accommodating staff!

You’ll probably hear noises of airplanes but not a big deal.

The room was lovely and comfortable and great food in the restaurant.

Unfortunately no hooks or rails to hang things up. The shower was a dribble. My folks thought that the room has only just been refurbished so some of the basics like hooks were not there.

A warm, family atmosphere. The staff are absolutely wonderful, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and you really feel at home. The free shuttle service works perfectly: I was picked up at the airport, taken to the hotel and driven back to the airport with absolute punctuality. Considering the price, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, including solo travellers.

La habitación era preciosa, con un elegante estilo africano. Cama muy cómoda. El agua caliente que no tarda en salir se agradece muchísimo. El personal muy atento. La señora que cocina es muy amable y hace unos platos exquisitos.

El ruido de los aviones. Parece que vayan a aterrizar encima. Un poco más de aislamiento acústico vendría genial.

Rezeption war in Ordnung. Zimmer war sauber.

Küche war sehr langsam bis wir das Frühstück bekommen haben. Keine Servietten und Besteck am Tisch

Nette kleine Gästelodge als letzte oder erste Unterkunft zum O.R. Tambo Flughafen. Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Sehr gutes Wlan. Frühstückseier werden frisch zubereitet. Kein groses Bufet. Zu erwähnen wäre der fantastische Driver, der den Flughafenshuttle übernimmt. Er musste aufgrund von 1 Person zu viel extra zweimal fahren am späten Abenf(one way ca 20 Minuten) und verlor trotzdem nicht seine gute Laune. Danke, unsere Jungs liebten ihn. Toller großer Pool, viel grün. Nachts ein paar Flieger, am Tag wurde wegen Windrichtungwechsel in die andere Rixhtung gestartet. Toll auch der Getränkekühlschrank, wo man sich zu günstigsten Preisen selbst bedienen darf. Late Check out wurde bis 12:00 Uhr ermöglicht. 100R pro Stunde. Das ist sehr nett gewesen.

Camere pulite e molto belle, inserite in un bel contesto (giardino con piscina). Possibilità di cenare all'interno della struttura. Vicinanza all'aeroporto e alla tangenziale per poter effettuare escursion nord di Johannesburg.

Camere non silenziose poiché la struttura si trova vicino all'aeroporto. La struttura non ha accettato la richiesta di cancellazione gratuita trascorso poco tempo dalla finestra utile del periodo di cancellazione.

Tutto perfetto, staff gentilissimo e disponibile. Il lodge è molto semplice ma è davvero una piccola oasi di pace tra un aereo e l'altro

The swimming pool

Rood had no hot water and we were told to go shower at a different building at night and had to do the same the early hours of the morning. Kitchen only opens 07:00, not a good environment if you’re booking for work because you’ll not have breakfast early

1. The heat of the water is inconsistent. There was a day when the water was really cold and we couldn’t shower. 2. We were provided with a bar heater, which didn’t warm up the room well. But we were provided with blankets on request.

Hotel perfecto si necesitas estar cerca del aeropuerto. Desayuno muy bueno.

Hacía mucho frío en la habitación, no tenía calefacción pero el chico que nos recibió muy amable, nos puso un radiador.

Staff was helpful

The sheets were very old and thread bare. The spare duvet cover was dirty. The mattress was terrible, very uncomfortable to sleep on as we just sank in. Pillows and scatters were lumpy and uncomfortable. Linen definitely needs replacing.

Beautiful property with a nice garden. The chef was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious!

There was no hot water at night when we checked in which we were not warned about and it was extremely cold!

So many small things. As much as the staff were friendly they were extremely slow. Sitting on the gate waiting to enter. Left on reception with no assistance. Breakfast at 7am (already late) but by 7:15 still not organized. Not even coffee was out. Than my room did not have hot water. I didn't shower during the stay. With reception closed i could not directly communicate. The room was freezing. You could tell the heater was turned on the same time I arrived as the floor was even still wet from mopping. It would be fine but when it takes hours for the heater to warm a room that should be done well in advance when you have reservations. It is a nice place but feels like maybe there are challenges to prevent from really providing quality.

Très beau cadre, très bien entretenu. Excellent rapport qualité prix avec le transfert aller retour depuis l'aéroport proche (15min), et le petit déjeuner. Personnel sympathique.

Pas très important, mais le service est assez long pour le dîner car tout est fait sur place par une seule personne. Si vous avez des enfants, commandez en premier! Il faisait froid en juillet car la chambre n'est pas chauffée, mais l'équipement en couverture est prévu.

2nd time I’ve stayed here. It’s great as I come from Australia every year for 2 months. I use this place to stay over night after a long flight, before heading off the next day. Comfy bed, nice and clean, hot shower, close to airport. Being I’ve been here before easy to find but it’s not well lit out the front and my first time there struggled to find it as no street lights made the area very dark. Would suggest a sign with a light on it.

Support friendly staff, great room and close to the airport. The airport shuttle makes a huge difference. Staff went above and beyond for us when we didn't have a few things we needed. They made a plan for us! Second time there and ready for the third.

The staff was exceptional. I received a warm welcome and friendly service with great conversations held and advice on local places to visit throughout my stay. The food was delicious and the room was comfortable, with a big en- suite bathroom, crisp white linen and a panel heater to heat up the room. There was ample cupboard space and a little coffee station for a late night tea before bed.

I went out after my arrival, so I returned after 8pm and I wanted to shower before getting into bed, the water ran freezing cold after 5 minutes in the shower.

The location is excellent, shops nearby, fantastic breakfast, with dinner and lunch available. Airport shuttle is the best. Rooms, very comfy and clean.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken.

Wij waren er in de winter (juli) en dan is het fris op.de kamers/ badkamers en zijn er geen mogelijkheden om eea te verwarmen.

The rooms opened up into the beautiful outdoors. A breakfast was served free of charge, and lunch or dinner were served throughout the day upon order. Free daytime transportation was provided to the airport. The rooms were tastefully put together and the service was great!

Very basic amenities. No air conditioner or heater, the room was a bit cold at night. No bottled water was provided.

The place was clean and the stuff was friendly

The room was very cold and only had a tiny oil heater that made no difference whatsoever and there was no air conditioner. There was no table to put my belongings or the pillows I removed from the bed, so I had to put everything on the floor. The shower makes a mess because there’s no door and there was no place to put my soap while taking a shower. The toilet paper had no holder it’s kept on the window seal. For the tea, the tea bags are not wrapped, they are just sitting in a wood container to get air dried and for any insects to sit on them.

The bed was so uncomfortable oh my goodness it was making a noise,and then 2 single were combined jooo it kept on moving imagine,the bed linen we got had a hole imagine fitted sheet,and then in the morning time for breakfast we were told that the gas was finished we had to wait a bit so that they can go next door to make a breakfast for us

There is no Aircon in the room let alone a chair nor a table to work from, i was freezing the whole night. In the morning there was no hot water in the shower, I called the 2 number that they gave for emergencies and I had to dial each at least 4 times before someone picked up, reported the matter of cold water to the gentleman that had picked up the call that there is no hot water in my room and he just yes they will look into it - I called 10 minutes later the same gentleman picks up and i asked him where are they looking to restore the water and he had no idea, i informed him that how can he just say yes he will look into the matter if he did not even ask me which room i was staying at then the truth came out where he told me that he is not working at the front desk he will look for the lady that can assist. I was booked for 2 nights and decided to check out after the 1st night to get an alternative stay elsewhere.

Lovely property. Reasonably quite. Cozy rooms. On-site restaurant is very convenient and food was great.

There was no hot water in the morning. I noticed a few momentary power trips late in the evening - perhaps this was related? Overall, cleanliness was great. My bed sheet was clean, but had a very subtle stain. Would recommend replacing the sheet.

Staff were so lovely, particularly the shuttle driver and the receptionists. The bathroom was nice and new. Lovely pool and outdoor space although I didn’t use this due to weather.

No hot water. No desk. WiFi was terrible. No coat hangers for clothing. Amenities basically non existent. Dining room was cold and tables not wiped. Broken glass on the room door. Ripped curtains. This place needs maintenance and management.

Nous avons passé juste une nuit entre 2 vols, le transfert aéroport guest lodge a été assuré par le lodge, qui est assez proche de l'aéroport, la chambre est confortable, le personnel accueillant, le petit déjeuner tôt le matin avant de repartir, correct.

Rien de négatif lors de ce court séjour.

Staff kindness, it is a quiete place, and near R Tambo airport.

Fijne plek, niet zo groot, schoon, comfortabel en behulpzame aardige medewerkers. Prachtige tuin erom heen. We konden een lunchpakket meekrijgen voor tijdens onze doorreis.

Er was enige onduidelijkheid over de shuttle (airport-accomodatie), waardoor we enige tijd moesten wachten op een uitgestorven airport. Maar dit is uiteindelijk toch goedgekomen.

Everything, for the amount I paid I think this place was definetly a gem, I was super impressed with the rooms, the outside facility, Lerato who assisted us with all our needs. I'm happy.
